Learn discipline from the dogs..

My family have fond on dogs, As far as i can remember we had already sheltered a total of 26 dogs . Some of them died because of old age and some died because of a certain illness..

Now we have 6 dogs in our house naming Tiger, Chu-chu, Ganda(beautiful), and our latest babies Mina and Cloud.. and piper

Tiger: He was named tiger for his tigered colored fur, His fearsome and barks and bites any suspicious looking stranger that comes inside our house.. The alpha male

Chu-Chu : She was named chu-chu for her chocolate colored fur. The most short tempred dog i knew.. :P hehe kidding. A little scratch and an echo of a meow of a nearby cat she will get mad. and will bark and will run after the cats. :)

Ganda : named for her beauty. Ganda means beautiful in filipino :) ... the ganda's favorite game is "run and cuss". She picks up something she knows she is not supposed to have like slippers and shoes and runs away from us as fast as she can. We chase after him like a fool, cussing and yelling, "Drop it!" Oh, it's great fun.

Mina and cloud : Mina named after a (mine coal) as black as a coal.

Cloud named after a cloud for he is as white as it.

They are pairs. Our family's new babies . They were like the Yin and the Yang

Piper: Our newly owned golden Retriever :)

Although, we get to clean their "pooh" and "pee" every now and then, I guess, the happiness that he brings into the family is priceless.

RN HEALS... because R.N. heals :)

      In December , Dr. Leah Paquiz, Founding president of "Ang NARS" told ABS- CBN " Bandilla" that the government should look into the practice of hospitals that require registered nurses to pay for their training. She revealed, the Nurses are rendering their service as a Volunteer Nurse then the certificate given was not accepted or qualified as an employment certificate here or abroad. Paquiz also said that more than 500, 000 nurses are either jobless or underemployed.

On January 17, The Department of Health in coordination with The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Department of Social Welfare and Development DSWD, announced the start of recruitment of 10,000 nurses for its "RN heals" program. RN heals, an acronym for Registered Nurses for Helath Enhancement And Local Service, is expected to address the shortage of skilled and experienced nurses in 1221 rural and flung communities.

     Nurses would undergo training and development, and a certificate of competency and employment will be given by the DOH, DSWD and Professional Regulation Commission - Board of Nursing to those who eill satisfactorily complete requirements. While on Deployment, the would be given an allowance of 8000 PHP. a month by the DOH while the Loacal Government were they are assigned shall supervise them, ensure thier safety and security and provide modest board and lodging and allowance of at least 2000 Php.

     In September, Health Secretary Enrique T. Ona issued a memorandum order directed to all DOH hospitals to stop all volunteer training programs for nurses. He pointed out that the current practice of Registered Nurses" Volunteering" is not consistent with the provisions of law.

     Ona stressed" Many Hospitals have implemented "Nurse Volunteerism' in the guise of training programs in order to justify the collection of (training fees) whereby such basic skills training put no added professional career for nurses."

      According to Republic Act 9418 or the volunteer Act of 2007, " volunteerism' as an act of involving a wide range of activities, including forms of mutal aid and development interventions that provides an enabling and empowering environment both on the part of the beneficiary receiving, and the volunteer rendering the act, undertaken for reasons arising from social developmental, business or corporate orientation, commitmant or conviction for the attainment of the public good and where monetary and other incentives or reward are NOT primarily the motivating factors.

     Instead of " forced volunteerism" Ona wanted the DOH by itself or in conjunction with the Board of Nursing to craft a residency program for nurses, Under the proposal, the government funded residency program will give nurses 6-18 months of training in a public or a privately owned hospital. He said this includes all DOH regional medical centers.

5 north staffs and RN heals morning shift

     Last October, The DOH and its partners started the recruitment and aventual deployment of RN heals batch 2 nurses. East Avenue Medical Center one of the 4 Cluster Specialized Hospitals of the DOH as well as all othe Medical Centers by the DOH started the recruitment and training of almost 500 RN Heals, They will be trained and will function as a real staff nurse provided that the Staff Nurse will guide them according to the hospital policies for the safety of the patient as well as the RN heals themselves.

    This program will not just allow the RN heals to be trained but will also give more patient care and decreased the burden of the Staff Nurses in catering 40 patient per nurse. Because of this program Nurses and RN heals will cater 8-10 patients or less. The Augmentation of Staffs was really a big help.

    As a Staff Nurse I am very Thankful for the Contributions of our new Staff Nurses(RN Heals). More time for patient care, the faster the patient will be discharge, :) RN truly heals because RN heals.

For RN Heals batch 3 application,

This year 2012, the recruitment of 10,000 nurses and 3,000 midwives is already ongoing and is expected to be completed by the end of the month.

“The recruitment and selection shall be done by the respective Center for Health Development (CMDs) to be completed by February,” the DOH said.

Under the RN Heals 3 program, newly hired nurses and midwives shall undergo general orientation scheduled on the first week of March before the actual deployment.

Those who were previously hired under the same program and rendered satisfactory services until the end of their contract next week can re-apply.

Happiness is something everyone wants to achieve. Everybody may seem to be looking for money, recognition, gadgets, or other things but what they actually looking for is happiness. Unfortunately, many people do not get what they desire..

One important key in finding happiness is counting your blessings..

There are many things we should be grateful for but we often forget it.. When we realize how blessed we are, we will certainly be happier.

Never compare yourself with others.

Comparing yourself with others will not do any good, you will either be proud when you are above, or feel jealous and frustrated when you are below.. Neither of the will bring us true happiness. So Stop comparing yourself with others. Just simply be your best.. And lastly we should always SMILE. :) as i have read, Smiling can make people appear more confident, are more likely to be promoted, and more likely to be approached, If we put on a smile at meetings and appointments and people will react to you differently. Everyone loves to eat sweets. There is no certain age group that is limited to eating sweets. When we are upset eating sweets helps us cheer up and when we are happy we eat sweets to cheer up even more. You don’t really need a reason to eat sweets, you can eat it as and when you feel like and everyone is always the mood for sweets.Only when you are not allowed from eating these you shouldn’t eat them, but if you are allowed from eating these then you should always keep one along with you so that you can eat it whenever you feel like .
Ironically, girls hate chocolates and sweets especially those who are figure conscious but tends to be happy and excited when thier lovers give them chocolates and something sweet.

It was a special occasion, our 5 month anniversary, and we reached the point where we needed more grace in our relationship. Though I know "anniversary" is not quite the right word to describe it, but still, we used it used it anyway or 5th month anniversary sometimes we called it that way. Life is short...we'll never know what will happen, the nxt few seconds, minutes, hours, days,..
I was inspired by the movie ( In Time)... Ive watched it with kriztel yesterday... What if the time we spend in this world isnt free?... What will you do?...Time is everything.... because of this movie , ive learned a lot.. watching movies isnt a bad idea after all.. :p
From now on, ill watch movie during my offs... :) hehe joke..
Since time is short... our clock is ticking.... dont waste it

Im going to try to be a better person. I want to be healthier, nicer, and much happier. And this time, instead of just saying that i will do these things, im actually going to do them. make my parents proud, spend quality time with kriztel, work hard for our future.... I want to go far in life, i have big dreams, and i wanna follow through with them. So, im now on a healthy diet, im working out an hour 6 days a week(joke..) hehehe :P, and enjoy every second of my life...
. Its time for a change. And im ready to make one.

Enchanted Kingdom.... Up up and Anchors Away....

Enchanted kingdom is almost an hour approximately from Cubao… Its my third time going to EK… Let me share with you my enchanted day at Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. We went there via Jam Bus Liner at around 3 pm and arrived at almost 4pm.
Me and my girlfriend had plan to go here during weekdays… so that we can avoid a crowded Enchanted kingdom during weekdays… but the unexpected happened.. It was a “field trip day” for elementary and high school kids coming from different schools. We could see almost 50 0r 60 buses appproximately.. so much for the not so crowded idea.. hehe.. For us not to spoil the fun, we still entered the EK..
There are different prices for the package that you want. I mean, you can choose of either going for the ride all you can ticket or just for specific rides. I say you go for the ride all you can and try all the rides! The last time we went here there were promos and discount for governmnt employees.. but its not available at this moment…
You should grab a map before exploring the EK world…Grab a hold of the EK map so you won’t get lost… im sure you will not … its not as big as i thought before… but having a map will help…
I suggest that you ride the ‘wet rides” – Jungle log jam and Rio Grande Rapids last. So that it won’t spoil your day. had not tried the jungle log… be sure to have an extra shirt or pants… definitely you’ll get wet here…

The Biggest ride (in terms of size) in enchated kingdom is the Wheel of Fate. Riding this biggie will let you see and enjoy the view of the whole theme park and beyond….

The next ride is the most feared ride of them all… Some people don’t imagine riding this.. some even say “i think i’ll die now” by just looking at it! It is the SPACE SHUTTLE!…… my last time in Ek with firends, all of us tried it.. even ladies… and that’s when i found out that the Space Shuttle is a fun ride!…. for me i had more problem riding anchors away than in space shuttle…. :p

One of the freakiest and scariest rides in EK is the Anchors away… When you ride it, its like it is pulling all your insides. Its like you’ll fall down specially when you are seated on the last row… and its repeated almost 8- 10 swings…The secret of conquering Anchors Away is to “let go” and scream as loud as you can..!!!!!! as my girlfriend told me… so i did…. its a hell of a experience.. but it was fun… we had fall in line again after the first try hehehe… .. the second try its not as bad as the first try… i can say that i enjoyed…the next time my girlfriend will ask me… “scared”? i can proudly say… “in anchors away”?, “never” hehehe

another attraction here is the “peryahan” ( dont know exactly its name)… you need some luck and skills here to win some cute stuff toys.. some of them are small or if you are luckier you could bring home a huge stuff toy…

There are other rides in Ek that you should all experience…
Dodgem, Roller Skater,Up, Up & Away, Bump N’ Splash, Grand Carousel, Flying Fiesta, Swan Lake. If you think that its only for grown ups.. your wrong.. kids will also enjoy rides in Boulderville Express, Bumbling Boulders, Air Pterodactyl, Stone Eggs, Dinosoarus.
But EK is not all about rides… they have the Rialto..
Brooklyn’s motion simulator theater which combines sight, sound and movement. Here, one does not merely watch a movie – one is actually in the movie! Catch the Funhouse Express, the electrifying simulator film from Iwerks which takes us through the twists and turns inside a carnival’s funhouse.
They also now have Paintball and Kart Trak – kart racing! Speaking of cars.. there’s also bumper city…

the park had closed early.. i think it was just 7 or 8 pm.. no fireworks that night… but im still satisfied and i had enjoyed my short stay there…. i had learned a lot from EK, different experience and how can i say this, a different way of having fun.. somewhat in a childish way though, it was fun….
I had conquered my fear…. i had conquered anchors away…. hehehe

Pacquiao.... ThePeoples champ or The Judges Champ...????

Without a doubt Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao is a great and a strong boxer.. Our 8th time world champ carries our flag every single fight that he had.. for our pride and glory..
Every time that he had a fight.. each and every Filipino here in the Philippines and around the world supports him… as if time stops… almost everybody is inside their home and watches him fight via television or in a movie theater.. They said that crime rates in Metro Manila drops and a violent free Mindanao during Pacman’s fight..
Today as he fought Juan Manuel Marquez.. who is also a great boxer , a co-talented and strong boxer as well… Everybody expected that Pacquiao will knocked out Marquez until the 6th round but it ended in a disappointment.. although Manny did great and showed heart for many people Marquez did better… As the 12 round fight ended.. most Filipinos were dissapointed the way the fight has resulted… Manny got beaten up by Marquez several rounds in the fight… but in the end because no one had been knocked out its up to the judges score and point of view who will be the winner…

Judge Robert Hoyle had it a draw, 114-114, . But judge Dave Moretti favored Pacquiao 115-113 and and Glenn Trowbridge had Pacquiao winning 116-112.. Manny won by a majority decision…The crowd was angry at the decision and several Marquez fans threw drinks toward the ring booing Manny.Upon hearing the decision, Marquez and his team stormed out of the ring.
I hope there will be a 4th fight and i hope that there will be a clearer winner….

still i still believe in Manny Pacquiao.. the Filipino champ, the world champ and my champ..

My first Blog......

welcome guys… I'm Ron, a nurse, 2 yr nurse here in the Philippines.. i have a tiring job here and have a lousy monthly salary that's why i want to go abroad as soon as possible.. Australia, Canada or US maybe.. its all about the money..money..money… hehehe kidding.. I'm doing this blogging thing as a preparation or my I.E.L.T.S. exam. sooner I will take that exam but first i have to improve my English writing skills…
its been a while since my last blog post.. woo…they say that there's “always a first time” here it is.. my first English blog, I'm not that good in English but its worth a try all of my blogs before where in Tagalog (Filipino).. I'm kinda having my nose bleeding right now he he… but i guess its worth a try… ‘
i can say that my blogs will be free style , will not focus on anything in particular but i hope that i could come up with an idea that will satisfy my readers and me of course.. i don't care if ill be the worst English blogger that you will find or if my blogs would be non sense in your perspective… i told you before that i suck in English but I'm just trying to express my self here trying to unleash the monster blogger within me hehe :p it might take some time and i hope its not forever heehaw .. besides the blog world is huge, maybe there are worse blogger there somewhere i think and wish that there will be… :p hehe
