I speak from pure experience in this matter & truth be told I couldn't be more grateful for the humor in this lesson...

I had the pleasure of reading or should I say experiencing the courageous story of Max Factor 'The Man Who Changed the Faces of the World' by Fred E. Basten and I will say it turned out to be quite an smooth read!

From old world stage plays, the Grand Opera to the Imperial Family Max's skill was a coveted service, which opened doors for the brand we all know and love...

Not many of us get the opportunity to experience the foreground for the brands we love or at the bare minimum have any true sense of who is behind the product. This story grants that, a prime opportunity to learn how the brand was started and really understand the production and hunger behind a world renowned line of cosmetics.

This memoir highlights the innovation, the risks and the journey of a man that in so many ways embodies the same hunger many of us have. It humanizes the brand and grants people like you and I a chance to see dreams unfold!

Ever get tired of waiting on polish to completely dry before you can move on to your next task???

No one has 10 to 15 minutes to waste sitting in front of a fan or fanning your hands waiting for that nice shade of red to dry not only to the touch but all the way through!

I am officially that girl who either rushes to the nail salon for a quick polish change or if I am too pressed for time I attempt to change my polish myself and without failure each and every time I always end up chipping, tapping or completely messing up my nails due to one simple fact: they aren't dry yet duh!!!

I received these samples months ago and due to all the things going on in my life I wasn't able to review them right then and there but took them out of the packaging and sat them on my counter. I was in a rush one day and grabbed one of them and was shocked at how quickly I was able to move from polishing my nails to combing my hair in a matter of minutes...

No lie, I literally polished my nails without a top coat and was done with that process in 3 minutes. When I say done there was no wait time for drying, its like as soon as I was done with one nail it would be dry by the time I polished the next finger and the need for a top coat isn't even a necessity because the shine this polish has alone is awesome! I am a huge fan, but can admit that I'm ready for a little change this time around.

Love the rough sexy edge on the cover choice but we shall see if anything good comes out of the album.....
