Greater Manchester born Hazel, 29, was brought up around the musical influences of her mother and stepfather, both professional musicians for 30+ years. She began singing professionally at the age of 16 and her love of travel and music soon took her overseas with various musical projects. In the short space of 5 years, Hazel was running and performing in a professional internationally touring 5-piece band, Makerfield.

After graduating from Salford University with a first class BA HONS in Music, alongside touring with Makerfield, Hazel moved on to actively work in the recording studio working as a demo vocalist for top-line writers/producers, plus fulfilling live performance contracts in the UK and overseas as a solo performer or lead vocalist for live bands.

Right now, Hazel lives in Asia and gigs at various venues as a solo performer with acoustic guitar performing acoustic versions of pop, soul, and R&B classics. At the root of all her vocal exploits, is Hazel’s passion for travel and performing, and she is looking for contracts in Shanghai for 2012.
