It's slim, has a hard body, a dazzling Super AMOLED smile and it's smart too thanks to a 1.2GHz dual core CPU. That all makes for a glorious first date, but you know how it is... a week later and you notice the body is a little out of proportion and that your date just doesn't have what it takes to stay up late. The Droid RAZR is Motorola's first attempt to create a truly iconic device, just as the original RAZR flip phone was in the last decade. It's exquisitely thin, unique looking in a world of look-alike black Android slab smartphones, and it's got LTE 4G on America's largest LTE network. The Droid RAZR is powerful, has top specs and a marketing machine that's in top gear. But is it really Verizon Wireless' best smartphone?

AT&T to Offer the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 with 4G LTE

Announced it will offer the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 with 4G LTE beginning November 20. Yep. Mamie corpse. Who is the best that they could find. Fortunately, the game mechanic is fun in a meeting of angry birds cut the type of rope way, although there are a few wrinkles in this comparison, I'll get to later. Your task is to destroy the zombies with a variety of different balls of fire (which will be sent to you by slicing supporting ropes and chains), cannon balls, boxes and any other thing that you can put your fingers on.

45 Levels are well designed and should keep you busy for a while. If you complete it, however, the game thoughtfully includes a level editor so that you can make your own zombie terribly difficult for killing machines. However, there is a big problem with the game system, and it is the presence of a timer. If it was only linked to your score, it would be one thing. Unfortunately, to defeat each screen, you must do so in time. The result is a frenetic assessment of each puzzle you calculate trajectories, the effects of the object and the damage, but try to act early enough so that you have the time to actually complete the level. More than once, I was obliged to gazes window level failure humiliating all looking at the last zombie skilfully destroyed in the background. No, I have not had credit to defeat the level.

Other that missing a "Quietly" mode, the game gives you a nagging sense that this clock is deliberately altered at the end of the short to motivate you to engage in the purchase of "The Bomb" via IAP. I don't know whether or not it is a single-use, as there is no description available on the store at stake and, being no fan of the consumables pi, I was not prepared to experiment. In addition, as of this writing, OpenFeint was not.

Corpse Granny appears to draw inspiration from a few iOS games which have been seized (see first paragraph) and even improves on some of these mechanics with the intelligent use of additional objects. Unfortunately, the magmas pleasure quickly later that you're trying to memorize each level to beat the clock.

Graphics

Graphics are sprite 2D colored, with some effects accelerated 3D for poles. I found the animation 3D (balls of fire) to be smooth and silky. However, the sprites were more than a little choppy, as if developers used too little animation frames when they coded in them. It is a shame, because the zombies themselves appear a great personality while they stand around of waiting to be deleted. Make no mistake, that it is not a bad looking game. It is fair to no grip.

Sound

The music is a pleasant fun note composed in minor key to give you that feeling of Tim Burton and playful but dark monsters. Sound effects are also well cooked, even if they were a little embarrassing that I tried to solve levels. For once, I found myself with regard to the music and sound effects to the bottom.

Conclusion

Granny corpse is a puzzler of the physics of solids marred by a game timer which cannot be disabled. If you like your loaded artificially induced stress and frenetic puzzle, this game is for you. If you prefer something a little more methodical, see elsewhere.

Ratings (scale of 1 to 5):

Graphics: - 3 - Colourful but slightly animated sprites with lots of personality.
Sound: - 4 - Great music, good sound effects, although the effects are sounded a bit false.
Controls: - 5 - A tactile interface specific, coupled with lots and lots of things to interact with.
Gameplay: - 2 - The game of love, the timer of hatred.

Playing tips and tricks:

Ignore the timer on your first foray in a new level. examine, experiment and touchups. Do this several times if necessary. Later levels he will take this to succeed.

Made APP:

Developer: Bulkypix
Release date: November 9, 2011
Price: $2.99
Purchase PPA: Corpse Granny

-----------------------------------------------------

See a complete list of app and game reviews iPhone/iPod touch:
http://www.mobiletechreview.com/iPhone-game-reviews.htm

Discover our other iPad game app reviews and book:
http://www.mobiletechreview.com/iPad-game-reviews.htm

-----------------------------------------------------

---

View the original article here

Crimson: Steam Pirates Chapter 3 Releases for iPhone and iPad

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota
The Crimson: Steam Pirates mobile adventure continues as Harebrained Schemes and Bungie Aerospace release Crimson: Steam Pirates for iPhone and iPod, and deliver Chapter 3 to fans on all iOS platforms. Thanks to Recombu, we now have the pricing, which they say comes straight from the horse's mouth. The XOOM 2 will retail for 379 GBP (US$608), while the smaller XOOM 2 Media Edition will cost 329 GBP (US$527). Both are priced less than the original XOOM was when it launched, though it should be noted that they have less storage capacity and are Wi-Fi-only models.

AT&T Samsung Focus S Windows Phone 7.5 smartphone available now

AT&T is now offering the Samsung Focus S smartphone for purchase.
