IT MOVIE REVIEW: THE EVIL KILLER CLOWN IS BACK TO HAUNT THOSE WHO FEAR!

IT'S BEEN 27 YEARS SINCE THE ORIGINAL RELEASE OF 'IT'...

And oh my, what a horrific afternoon I've had watching this. I've never really been afraid of clowns, but after this film, I can 100% say that I'm terrified of clowns.

Ever since the original version of IT, I have always loved the idea of the movie as a whole. I remember watching it multiple times as a child, and finding it an in-depth storyline and of course frightening. From watching the trailer of the 2017 version of IT, I could see the resemblance between the original and the remake. The trailer was well created and showed the key points from the original, for example; when Georgie is playing in the rain and the boat goes down the drain. This is an iconic moment that will never be forgotten. From putting this in the trailer you can see that it will be a remake of the original movie.

IT is about a clown who is unidentified by the children in the film, who associate him as being IT. There are seven main children who play the victims in Derry, Maine, and are about to face every childs worst nightmare. Every 27 years, an evil, shape-shifting clown emerges from the sewer to prey on the children that live in the town. Working together the children spend their whole summer, trying to overcome their fears to get rid of the murderer clown, know as Pennywise. Will they be able to protect themselves?

Overall, I would rate this movie a 9/10. I thought it was absolutely terrific! The storyline was so in-depth, being slightly different to the original. However, I think it needed to show contrast between them as no-one would have liked to watch a complete copy. Personally, I think this is definitely one of the most powerful remakes of all time, reaching the top of my recommended movies this year. My favourite character was Jaeden Lieberher, who played Bill Denbrough, as he showed full commitment portraying this fearless, determined young boy who wanted to overcome the fear of the clown. His strong perception of the clown influenced others to follow his lead; in making wise choices that affects the people in the town, protecting them and their children, whilst trying to save his little brother Georgie. I thought the film was horrifically, terrifying especially for children, with a lot of jump scares. Along with some humorous scenes that showed through which give the audience a range of mixed emotions throughout. As well as being a frightening horror, it had comedy moments included which added credit to the rating including; the clown being humorous and adult references being made from the children.

The reason why I rated this a 9 out of 10 is because of the ending. There wasn't anything bad or cliche about it, it's just that I'd like it to end a little different. We all know from the original movie that Georgie gets taken by the evil killer clown. Towards the end of the film, Bill finds the home of Pennywise and sees his little brother one more time before he gets taken fully by the clown. Me being me and always likes a happy ending, I would have loved for him to come back. I just thought at the time, that was going to happen... it felt right to do so. I know that this is in my own personal opinion and I understand those who disagree.

I would 100% recommend this movie for all teenagers and adults to watch, as it is a breathtaking, spooky, jump scare film perfect for a movie night in. I really enjoyed watching this in the cinema as it adds to effects. I found myself a little scared to look around incase I see a floating red balloon, signifying that the clown is around. It definitely adds to the dramatic horror if you are in a cinematic dark room with HD surround sound. If you're like me and loved the original, then this will blow you away.

SPOILER: I believe there will be a part 2 of this movie as at the end it said Chapter One, which could be leading on to a Chapter 2. I wonder if it will take another 27 years for the return of Pennywise!

I have something that I am very excited to share with you today. I have decided to write about my top free apps that I use everyday. Being a blogger, I think these apps are necessary as they are a great tool to help you start your career as a blogger. I have currently moved all my blogging apps on to a separate page, so it's easier to understand. Of course there are many more apps that I use in everyday general use, but purely for the blog I've just included the important ones.

1. Facebook

Facebook is an American for-profit corporation and an online social media and social networking service based in California. The facebook website was launched on February 4, 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg. I particularly like using facebook as it is a very easy beneficial way to share your other social media accounts and a very popular platform to post relevant status' about your blog. Typically, with your family and friends added, you are estimated to have approximately 500+ friends which is a perfect opportunity for you to share your blog which can then be shared on to a wider audience. Alongside this, I have a Facebook page created just for the advertisement of my blog. Facebook is a brilliant app that can help you gain a lot of trafficking and experience when blogging.

2. Facebook Messenger

Facebook Messenger is an instant messaging service and software application for Facebook. It is very difficult on the Facebook app to see your group chats, people online and personal direct messages without this app. The app for messenger is probably the least used one in terms of blogging. However, it is an essential when using Facebook.

3. Instagram

Instagram is a social networking app made for sharing photos and videos from any device. It is very similar to Facebook and Twitter, but you do not write a status or tweet as you would share a photo with a caption instead. Anyone who creates an Instagram will have a profile and news feed so that you can follow anyone who you like if they're account isn't private. When you post a photo or video on Instagram it will show up on your profile. A lot of people use Instagram especially to brand themselves or to help with advertisement. What I love most about Instagram is that you can have fun with it. You can post so many things expressing yourself or showing your day to day life. Also, recently Instagram have created a few new features that are similar to other social medias. You can now have a story which is like posting a snapchat picture and also a live stream feature so that you can interact with your followers. I have recently created a new account for my blog as well as using my account linked with my YouTube channel.

4. Snapchat

Snapchat is one of the most popular social apps today. Snapchat is used mainly for young adults and teenagers to interact with each other and also celebrities so that you can follow them on their journey. Snapchat is only a smartphone app either iphone or android. Snapchat is a photo and video app where you can message your friends a photo or video and they are able to see if for approximately 10 seconds. It is sometimes an alternative for texting as you can add a rage of filters, texts or images. With Snapchat you don't have a profile as such like Instagram where your posts stay there until they are deleted. With Snapchat they can only be seen for the duration set and even if they are in your story for all friends to see, they are only valid for 24 hours. I use Snapchat often when messaging my friends and occasionally I will share with my friends my blogs and send links where to find it. Again it is an easy social networking app that can help you gain attraction to your blogging pages. I think it is great fun especially using all the filters. It is a lovely way to interact with your friends or fans, so they can get to know the real you.

5. Twitter

Twitter is an online news and social networking service where users post and interact with 'tweets' made and can either retweet or like. It is a great way to find out the latest news or to keep up with celebrities or a way to advertise your work to others. You are only allowed to write a maximum or 140 characters. Twitter can be used on a range of devises as well as on the pc. I enjoy using Twitter as you are aware for getting to know some of you who read my blogs, for your feedback and to have a general chat. It is so nice to express my thoughts and start to write blogs that you have suggested to me. I just love using twitter at the moment to make friends and interact with many of you.

6. YouTube

YouTube is a video website powered by Google where you can create an account to add videos to your channel. It is a great way to watch specific tv shows or to watch full length performances and interviews of many idols. Alternatively, YouTube is also a way to get yourself recognised through your videos have led so many amazing down to earth people a happy life as they have had a lot of success from their videos. When you make videos, if you get over a certain amount of views and subscribers, you can monetize your videos, so that at certain points advertisements get shown. For everytime a viewer clicks on the ad you can earn money. There are many other ways of creating a successful channel, but that is the most popular one. I really enjoy using YouTube as I really like watching performances and catching up with the world and news. I think it was an amazing creation as I watch YouTube more than watching TV. As many of you know, I have a joint YouTube channel with my best friend. We absolutely love filming and making videos. We don't really have a set style as we love to do anything and everything that you suggest to us. We make videos purely for the joy fun and love hearing your reactions as it is something we enjoy.

7. Newsify

Newsify is an amazing app to get inspiration for writing blogs especially if you are very opinionated as you can always write about someone else's thoughts and feelings. It helps me to brainstorm a range of different topic ideas for me to talk about as they are all relatable everyday things. In this world that we live in, of course we will all have different opinions and it is a great way to express yourself on your blog. Newsify has a range of features including news, blogs and RSS feeds all in one app. You can also customise the app so that you choose all the relatable topics that interest you so that you have a filtered home page. Newsify is an icloud/iOS app that can be accessed via the web.

8. Blogger

Of course, this is definitely a must have app!!!! You can't have a blog without having the app to either write your blogs or note down your ideas. As I created my blog through blogger, I use the Blogger app. If you don't know what Blogger is, it is a blog-publishing service that allows multi-user blogs with time-stamped entries. It was developed by Pyra Labs, which was bought by Google in 2003. Generally, the blogs are hosted by Google at a subdomain of Blogspot.com. I absolutely love using blogger as it is very simple and easy to use. I used a few different sites at first and they didn't work for me. I was unsure what I was doing as it had too many features. I think Blogger is perfect and definitely something you should try. The app is very simple to use as you can see in the image below. You can clearly see what blogs are published, which ones are draft and you can simply create a new post by clicking in the top right corner.

9. BlogTouch

BlogTouch (for Blogspot Blogger) is the most powerful Blogger/Blogspot mobile editor. It's designed to ease your work, so that you can manage an unlimited number of blogs by publishing, editing, removing, pages and comments. This app is a perfect alternative if you can't access the Blogger app or if you can't access a PC. BlogTouch has a range of features that is more than what's on the Blogger app. It is definitely something you need, if you are using Blogger as a platform for your blog. It is very easy to navigate which is definitely something that I am happy about. Also, if you are on the go, for example; taking public transport, it is a very beneficial way to have the app so that you can note down all your ideas. You can also use the app offline to write posts, so that you can always stay on top of your blogs.

10. Pic Collage

Pic Collage is a photo editing app that allows you to create beautiful collages using your mobile device. It includes a range of features, for example; fun stickers, text with cool fonts and frames and internet access for specific additions for texts or images. There are so many features on this app which makes this one app have everything included for all social medias. I use this app to edit my photos before posting onto Instagram, I use the app to create posters when asking for help or announcing a giveaway, and lastly I use this app when creating thumbnails for my YouTube channel. It is very easy to use and navigate with clear options. It is definitely one app you need to try out. It is so much fun to use and probably one of the best editing apps out there.

That is all of the apps that I find important when blogging and I can honestly say that I use these apps on a regular basis. All of these apps are free which makes it a definite YES as to why you should give these a go.

BACK TO SCHOOL, COLLEGE OR UNI FASHION IDEAS!

Welcome back to my blog! As part of my Back To School series, I have decided to put together a little lookbook with my outfit ideas for anyone going into education. These looks are the latest trends from a couple of fashion retailers at affordable prices.

#1. THE GIRLY RETRO

Absolutely loving this outfit. It is super cute and looks very stylish from something so simple. Bringing out the confidence in anyone. It is comfortable and can be worn in summer or winter with a pair of tights added. I think this outfit is perfect for going back to school, college or uni. As the sunshine keeps coming out I think the pink t-shirt is definitely a good choice. However, when the weather isn't as good, I think any other colour t-shirt would look great with this. You can definitely wear this in all seasons, by changing the top half colour t-shirts to match.

BE THE CHANGE - A very inspiring quoted top. To me it is expressing myself to be who I want to be. It is influencing others to be who they want to be and not follow others around you. Totally agreeing with the idea of going back to school and being surrounded by hundreds of girls can be very easy to fall into the trap of being the same and copying one another. I encourage you all to be true to yourselves and to do what you want to do. If you want to be different... then be different. If you want to do your own thing... then do your own thing. If you want to make a point... then get your voice heard. I believe you should be true to yourself and be the honest person you are.

Along with this outfit, I added some plain black boots to enhance the look giving it that extra retro style making it classy and sophisticated. I think you could wear some flat shoes including, converse or vans and definitely jazz it up a bit with different hairstyles or wearing matching accessories.

#2. SMART CASUAL

I fell in love with this little playsuit from when I saw it on the website. There is something special about it that I loved. I thought about it for a couple days and I really wanted it... so I had to buy it! I have many playsuits that are dressy up and summery but nothing like this. I love that it is very smart/casual as it can be worn for many occasions. I think this playsuit would look very professional for a job interview, stylish for fashion and can be worn in different seasons by adding tights and a jacket.

The detail on this playsuit is beautiful and a classic. I really like the design. I like the length of it as it isn't too short or too long. The sleeves feel so comfortable and helps with insecurities making me feel confident with myself as it keeps me covered feeling very sophisticated. The front has a flap design which makes it look like a skirt, however, it is shorts. It gives it that extra something special, giving it shape and definition, so that it shows off your best features, giving your figure an outline.

I recommend this out 100%! It is definitely worth the money paid and I believe it can be used for many reasons. Grab yours today!

WHAT MADE YOU START BLOGGING? - @katy.goddard

As you may or may not know, I have a joint YouTube channel with my best friend. We have been YouTubing together for over 3 years now. I have always been interested in writing and expressing myself, but it brought to my attention most when I received a few messages shortly between each other regarding that I should create a blog. At first I was very nervous incase I was to do it wrong or not succeed, but for just over a month I have been absolutely loving being a blogger. I am looking forward to the different seasons creating different relatable posts. If it wasn't for the amazing supporters around, I would not have created this. WHO IS YOUR BIGGEST INSPIRATION? - @valeriemwc

This question is very personal to me as it is not anyone famous or a well-known style icon. The biggest inspiration in my life is my mother. She is probably the strongest person I know... I mean 100% for sure she is. My mother is always there for me and has been my whole life which is absolutely why I will forever look up to her. She has managed to bring up 4 children all by herself and worked her butt off providing for us and giving us anything that we have wanted. It hasn't been an easy 20 years which is why I hope that I will be as good of a mother that she is. I respect you in every way possible and I want to make you proud. Thank you for everything. DID YOU GO COLLEGE OR SIXTH FORM, IF SO WHAT WAS IT LIKE AND WHAT DID YOU EXPERIENCE? - @cxndyce

I went to Sixth form for one year to study A level Maths, Psychology and Graphics. The year I spent at Sixth form was probably one of the best years I have had studying. I made lots of new friends and everyday was fun. I actually wanted to be at Sixth form as we all got on and all had a laugh with each other. We would have parties between us every other weekend which were a great way to socialise with each other. All my friends will be friends for life. We all became so close, it was lovely! It was probably one of my most unsuccessful year in education, but I do not regret it! I learnt so much and grew as a person.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE STORE? - @vviiviv

PRIMARK! It is absolutely by far one of my favourite. I think because there stores are so large, I love walking around at the different departments for hours. When I go to a Primark I tend to go early morning and come out around lunch time. I love having a good look around as they sell a wide range of different items. I like to walk around the different floors finding bargains that you wouldn't else wear. I have so many accessories and the basic socks/underwear etc from Primark as they are so worth the money paid and are actually in very good quality.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE SEASON? - @vviiviv

FALL! By far my favourite season. I love everything about it! I love having to just wear a hoodie or a light jacket. I love how the weather is just cool... not too hot and not too cold! I am really looking forward for fall this year as I have so many amazing blog ideas. I can't wait to start writing them!

I really love the messy half up half down top knot as it looks very slick and casual. I love that it can get rid of all my hair at the front, so that it is out my eyes and then still have it down. I don't have my hair like this often, but when I do, I love it!

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED AND WHY?

I am going to be honest about this one... About a few days ago. I was just listening to music on my laptop whilst writing a blog. Unexpectedly, this song came on my playlist that reminded me of my father which was 'American Pie' by Don Mclean. It reminded me of him as he used to play and sing it in the car, whenever we went somewhere. I will always remember these memories and I will always associate this song to him. It made me cry because I remembered the times together that I had with him and these memories will never be forgotten.

16-25 RAILCARD

The 16-25 railcard is a public transport travel card that gives you discount of every fare made when travelling anywhere on a train. If your university is a few hours away, this railcard will be ideal for you to save money whilst travelling. If I was to travel home for the weekend, my train fare would normally cost £21. However, with the railcard it will cost me £13.85. This is a massive saving, making it a lot cheaper for me, saving me money in the long run. By coming home a couple of times, I would have saved the amount of money costing me for the railcard lasting 1 year.

UNIVERSITY STUDENT ID CARD

Your University ID card will be issued to you once you have enrolled. This is a great example of proof that you are a full time student, as it will have a recent photo on and state which University you are attending and the course. It is important that you carry this around with you at all times whilst you are at University to enter campus. A lot of local stores around your University and some others might also accept this form of student ID, so that you can get the student discounts.

TESCO CLUBCARD, MORRISONS MORE CARD, SAINSBURY'S NECTAR CARD & MYWAITROSE CARD

I think that it is very important to start applying for store cards, as now you are at University being an independent adult, you will have to do your own shopping. You can collect points in each supermarket and when you have enough points, you can redeem vouchers to spend and save money on your shopping. You can get a range of different coupons and discount codes, making it even beneficial for you to save money whilst studying at University.

Hi guys, welcome back to my blog. Today I will talking to you about my journey and the process it has taken me to be where I am now in pursuing my dream as a teacher. It has been a very long 4 years, with a lot of ups and downs, but this coming September, I am excited to announce that my journey will begin as a trainee teacher. This brilliant topic to discuss was a suggestion from my new teenage blogger friend @Jade_B248 - http://www.jadebrowne.com/.
I am very happy that I was given this request, as this is something I am very passionate about and I feel honoured that some of you may be interested in my journey.

WHY DO I WANT TO BE A TEACHER?

Being a teacher would be my ideal dream job. I have always been interested in teaching since a very young age. From when I would set up my own pretend pre-school, acting out that I was a teacher with my students being my friends and teddies creating registers and giving them work to do. Even from that age, I knew this was something I was interested in, but I had a lot of self-doubt and negativity whilst growing up, which made this challenging for me to achieve. There are so many amazing reasons as to why I would love to be a teacher. I will gladly share some of these with you.

I have a passion to help others. I want to help others in a way that is recognised in everyday life. I want to help children and teenagers dealing with low self-esteem or helping them grow up in a way to show them their potential. I want to give students a good start and with my experience I believe I can make a positive difference to their futures. I found that when I was at secondary school, I got a lot of help and guidance from my teachers who believed in me most, especially when I had a lot of negativity around me. The many teachers who taught me in my life all helped me with more than what they had to, but because they cared about their students futures, they put in that extra little belief to show you your potential and push you further to give you that belief that you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it.
For me, I'd like to have a job that is 9-5 and different every day... and teaching is absolutely perfect for this. Each day is different as you will be teaching new things and different topics. Of course, each year you will have a new class of students to teach and potentially a different age group, so what you teach will be different. Alternatively, being a teacher makes it possible to work anywhere around the world, as there are schools in every country. It would be lovely to travel around and help those in other countries. I would love to move about which would make the job different everyday and interesting. It would be great experience for myself as I would be learning everyday as well as teaching.

HOW HAVE I GOT TO WHERE I AM NOW?

At the age of 20, I now feel like this is the year for me to begin my teacher training journey at my chosen university. It has been a long, hard-working 4 years to get me to this point. From being at high school for 5 years and coming out with reasonable GCSE's. Although, I believe that I could have got better grades if I pushed myself that little bit more. I came out of school with 2x Distinction*, 2x Merits, B and 7x C's.

Following from this I went to sixth form to study Mathematics, Psychology and Graphics. Sadly, these courses wasn't right for me. I believe I chose them as I was influenced from my friends and the people around me. I originally wanted to study a performing arts BTEC course instead of AS Levels, but with advice, I was told to try out A-Levels first. I finished my first year at sixth form with one AS grade in Graphics which was a D. Unfortunately, my mathematics and psychology results weren't great as I believe I had too much going on as a student and did not focus at all.

A change of direction into the right direction for me! I applied and auditioned to a performing arts college, so that I would be able to learn a range of different techniques and understand the main concept of this. At times, we had to demonstrate and teach the class our findings and put on small workshops to build our confidences. For me, this was right up my street and I was in my element. I love teaching people. I love showing others how things are done and helping them improve and guiding them. I would always plan ahead and do too much because I was very passionate and I knew that after my performing arts course I want to be a drama teacher. Unexpectedly, my results from this 2 year course was brilliant as I finished with a Distinction*, the highest grade I could have reached. I was over the mood with this result. It was a shame I didn't believe in myself and prove the people wrong who told me A-Levels would be better, but I believe that for some people it just doesn't work out how you expect it to.

Applying for university was one of the most difficult things I have ever done. You want your application and personal statement to be perfect. With mine I wrote about exactly what I wanted to do because I knew and I felt confident when doing so. I applied to 5 different universities as you get the choice to do so, however, I knew exactly where I wanted to go. The University Of Winchester was my dream place to study to be a teacher. The town is absolutely beautiful and the university felt homely and welcoming. From the moment I went there on the open day, I just knew this is where I wanted to be. Luckily, I got my place confirmed in January 2016. By the time September 2016 came, I was not ready for uni. I did not want to go. I had a lot of self-doubt again and my confidence just vanished. From this I decided to take a gap year. I needed to make my mind up of what I wanted to do. Silly me... I knew right from the start! What a year I have had... I regret not going to university sooner, but I believe this coming September is the right time for me to go. I am mentally and physically prepared for uni and I am looking forward to it so much. I have built up a lot of confidence and I feel this is the right time to go.

I have worked so incredibly hard this past year preparing myself and organizing everything for me to go to university. I feel a lot more independent and grown up. I have gained a lot of experience from my full-time jobs and with the amazing support around me, I am determined to prove those people wrong who did not believe in me from the start. I am determined to make my dreams come true. I have learnt that doing A-Levels did not work for me and I am honoured to be where I am now without them. I am about to start a university degree to pursue my dreams and I couldn't be happier. It just goes to show that there are alternative routes that can lead you to the same ending. I understand that there are many pros and cons of being a teacher, but I know this is something I want to do and I will work and push myself to achieve the best result.

WHERE WILL I BE STUDYING FOR MY TRAINING & WHAT COURSE?

For my teacher training, I will be studying at the University Of Winchester. The course I will be attending will be Education Studies and Drama. The reason I have decided to choose this course in particular, is because I want to learn about education as a whole and the overall reason behind it, learning all the great ways to teach and trying out different methods. For those of you who know me from before my blog, you will know that I have a real passion for Drama. I absolutely love it! If teaching is successful for me and goes to plan, I would like to push myself and specialise in a subject. That subject will be Drama. I would love to teach drama at a secondary school or at college level.

Thank you for this request. It was lovely to express myself and discuss with you my future plans and how I have got to where I am now. I feel very grateful and honoured to be accepted at Winchester University considering I did not do A-Levels. I will not take this opportunity for granted. It can be very difficult for you to choose what you'd like to do for the rest of your life, but if you're like me and you know then I believe in you. With a lot of determination and support, you too can achieve your dreams!

Welcome back to my blog. I am really excited to be sharing this one with you as I have never done a shopping haul post before. In this blog, I will be showing you what clothes and accessories I bought from Bershka as part of my preparation for university. I am very happy with the price paid... less than £5 is absolutely incredible for a t-shirt not in the sale.

I would definitely wear this with black tights and boots. I think this is a must have for anyone going to school or uni as it is perfect for those days of looking smart and presentable. Really pleased that I have purchased these. They look beautiful. I haven't had velvet scrunchies before which is why I think I love them so much. The black one is standard and can be worn with anything, the red one will match my lipstick and the pink one will match when I wear light clothing. I am extremely looking forward to trying these out with a few different looks in the back to school/uni lookbook.

10 WAYS TO SHOP ON A BUDGET & SAVE MONEY WHEN SHOPPING

Welcome back to my blog. I have something interesting to share with you today. It is a little bit of advice and top tips to help stay on a budget and save money whilst shopping. I have narrowed down to tell you about my top 10 hacks. If you are like me and can't help yourself while shopping or you are easily tempted to make unexpected purchases then these will be great for you!

1. Start your shopping at a low end fashion retailers, perhaps Primark as they sell quite a selection of clothing that are similar in the high end stores. Primark is getting much better in terms of quality for price. The quality of their clothing isn't that bad if you choose the right things. In comparison to other fashion retailers, Primark is still considered cheap. If you know what you are looking for or have a rough idea on the styles then this will help massively as you can look in the correct sections of the stores to save time and be efficient while shopping.

2. Buy for opposite seasons in advanced when the sales go on. From previously working in a fashion retailers shop, the best advice I can give you is during the January and mid summer sales, most of the sale stock goes out onto the shop floor whether it is for winter or summer, as they are trying to get rid of it. Therefore, you can essentially prepare yourself for either the next summer or winter buy purchasing the previous fashion trends. It is definitely a good idea for you to do this as you can save quite a bit of money. The good thing about some of the fashion trends is that they go back into fashion almost every year. I have done this many of times and no one has noticed.

3. Following up from the previous tip, you could shop every time in the sale section or at the latest promotions. It is a good idea to start here and if there's nothing you're interested in then you can look at the full price items. Doing this means you haven't missed out on the good prices or sales. Shopping online for sales is always a great idea and I personally find it a lot easier to browse the different stores for what I am looking for as most retailers sell the same trend, just a different style. Alternatively, if you have a rough idea of the sort of product or piece of clothing you are looking for, if you search it on google, all relatable content will come up and show the prices, making your shopping experience fast and easy.

4. Paying with cash only makes it impossible for you to go over budget when shopping in the towns or high street. If you are someone who could literally just swipe their card and not realise how much you're spending... like me, then this will work really well. I think nowadays it is so much faster for us to use cards, as you can use contactless or even use your mobile device to pay for your shopping. I think that since this has been available to me, I definitely shop more! If I am going out on a budget I will take the cash out that I want to spend. The reason for this is that I can stay on track on what I am purchasing, visually see how much money I have (without checking on my banking app or cash point) and I am not tempted to go way over my budget.

5. Before purchasing any item or product you should challenge yourself by asking why?... Why do you want this product? Are you being influenced to do so? Do you really need it? Can you financially afford it? This is very useful and a good tactic that I try to use. If you can answer these questions with no problem and you do really want to treat yourself then of course, thats amazing! This is a good thing to consider if you aren't sure whether to get something. I think it's very important to not just buy something for the sake of it or if you are uncertain as it will most likely never be worn or used at all. Sometimes I have done the same thing. I have gone to London for shopping, purchased a few items from a shop that isn't local to me and regret buying them as the styles really wasn't for me. I just like the look of everything, but I really have to consider, is it something I'd wear and not my fashion idols?

6. Take care of the clothes you already have especially if they are a bit more expensive than your everyday sort of t-shirts etc. If you purchase a pair of jeans from New Look costing approximately £30.00, I think you should try make them last for as long as possible by treating them with care and most importantly reading the washing guide on the inside. This is how most clothes get ruined as they are put on the wrong setting or washed incorrectly in the washing machine. For something so simple could save you buying multiple pairs regularly instead of using the ones you have for a bit longer. By doing this, you can use your money elsewhere on whatever you want.

7. Buying quality clothing is essential especially with specific clothing. When I purchase t-shirts and tops I don't really mind where I purchase them from, as I think there's not a problem with this. However, jeans and leggings I think it's important to buy from middle priced stores as they are likely to last longer. The material on the higher end stores will be a better quality. A good example of this is Primark and New Look, both selling a pair of jeans. Primark would charge approx. £15 whereas New Look would charge £20-£25. I would personally pay the little extra for a longer lasting pair and better quality. From my previous experience, I can say that for me New Look jeans last a lot longer and stay the same quality for a longer time than Primark.

8. Shopping on a cashback website or using your online banking app to check and activate shops that you are most likely to shop in can be rewarding for you, as you get money back from shopping. I will check on my mobile banking app every morning and activate all of my cashbacks just incase I shop somewhere unexpectedly. A majority of the time, there is always 2 or 3 different clothing shops on the cashback section. I think this is a really simple thing to do as you can save a fair bit of money that you wouldn't have, if you didn't activate them.

9. You should always take the quick two minutes surveys either from the website or shown on your receipt as a majority of the time you will be rewarded with promotions and discounts including free delivery or % off. It is a really quick thing to do and most of the time, they are multiple choice questions which take two minutes to answer. You can always do this whilst looking around shops or in the queue.

10. Subscribing to store emails is a very easy and a beneficial way to save so much money and be informed on the latest deals and offers. I understand that some subscriptions you sign up to are very over the top and send loads of emails a day, so it can be difficult to notice the deals. A way to deal with this is to create an email address that is designed especially for sign ups and subscriptions. Before you make a purchase whether that is online or in store you should filter your emails with the name of the shop and check for the latest discounts or promotions. It can help massively especially saving a couple of pounds in each shop.

WHAT TO WEAR ON A RAINY DAY?

Are you debating what to wear in August? This awful summer in the U.K. is making it very difficult for us to know what to wear as the weather is so controversial. All the clothing worn in this look is from New Look. New Look is a South African owned British global fashion retailer with a chain of high street shops. It was founded in 1969 and sells a range of clothing for women, men and teenagers.

After shopping in New Look at the full price and sale clothing range I put together this stylish outfit which is perfect for this kind of weather.

Recently, I have been completely obsessed with mesh tops and bodysuits. I think they look very sophisticated and are a beautiful stylish fashion statement. They can be worn with many different trousers, shorts or skirts. I decided to wear these denim ripped jeans to give it that street style casual fashionable look. HOW TO GET THE LATEST STREET STYLE FASHION

DO YOU WANT THAT FASHIONABLE CELEBRITY STREET STYLE LOOK?

Street style is a fashion inspired by celebrities that is considered to have emerged not from studios, but from the grassroots of street-wear. Street style is very difficult to define as it is generally associated with youth culture and is most often seen in major urban centres. I believe that street style in an inspiration of dressing how your idols or fashion icons dress when out in the street. Street style fashion can be anything that has been worn by any fashion idol that is considered to be a fashion statement. Further down will be an example of how I took my fashion idols fashion and recreated a street style fashion look to portray this.

LITTLE MIX INSPIRED STREET STYLE

I have always been inspired by Little Mix's fashion as it is designed unique to them. I absolutely love all of their outfits they have worn and I try my best to either make or buy similar clothes to them. It is very difficult to purchase the clothes they have as most of them are personally designed. Recently, I saw Little Mix live at Capital Summertime Ball 2017 and I was amazed by their fashion styles. I decided to combine all their styles together to recreate a fashion statement that was designed by each of their own little aspects of fashion. My idea of street style is definitely to layer up with clothing as it gives a classy rough looking imagine which is perfect for street style as it is suppose to look like you have just chosen anything random but in fact it looks outstanding. For example, in this imagine above that I took of Little Mix, Perrie Edwards on the far left has layered up the top half of her clothing, but she looks absolutely phenomenal and inspiring. These styles have been recognised and categorised as part of their street style image. In this image I am wearing:

Black mesh crop top - BOOHOO £8.00 - This black mesh crop top is definitely in fashion at the moment as many celebrities are wearing these with a little black bra-let underneath which for me is inspired by Perrie Edwards. Perrie is known for wearing these kinds of tops and looks phenomenal in them as you can see from the image above. Mine isn't as revealing as I would wear this out casually. From something being quite plain, it can look so effective and give it the wow factor. I absolutely love this top as it is so comfy, especially if you have a lot of moving about to do. Denim Shorts Dungarees - NEWLOOK £15.99 - These denim dungarees are inspired by Leigh-Anne Pinnock. Recently she has been seen wearing dungarees and the iconic one leg dungarees shown in the image above. These are a brilliant fashion statement which always goes back into fashion almost every year. These can be worn with almost anything and can look so beautiful with layered colourful clothing. The thing I like most about these is that you can wear all kinds of tops with it and also add tights or cropped shorts like I have done. You can dress these up or down.

FLORAL PRINTED PLAYSUIT FROM BERSHKA

And that's exactly what I'm feeling with this floral printed playsuit from Bershka. Bershka is a fashion retail company created in April 1998 aimed at a young target market, with over 1,000 stores in 71 countries around the world.

A little while ago, I challenged my partner to go clothes shopping for myself and he came back with this beautiful floral printed playsuit from Bershka in Brighton. My first reaction on this (as seen in the video) I was very shocked because I never thought he would pick something as detailed as this for me. I think this is very cute and fits beautifully. The curved seam under the bust gives it a lovely fit and makes it very comfortable. It also gives you shape which is beneficial if you do not have much like myself. I am so happy he chose this for me as I feel very confident and comfortable in this outfit. At first, when I tried it on, I wasn't impressed of how low the back drops. However, after having a proper look and seeing these photographs, I think its perfect and I wouldn't change it. In these photos I am wearing white fluffy sliders (purchased from Peacocks) which I wore to the beach. I think this outfit would look very pretty with some little black ankle boots for a night or meal out. Depending what shoes and accessories, I think this playsuit could surprise us with the amount of different ways it can be worn for different events. I am normally a size 8 and the this playsuit I am wearing a small. I think the sizes fit very well and are accurate. If you are sized 8-10 then this size should be perfect for you. I highly recommend you purchasing this outfit for all the reasons above and because of the phenomenal price shown below.

1. Why did you start blogging?

After 3 years on YouTube making videos with my best friend Georgia Goodley, I thought it was about time I started my own blog. People have asked about me and if I had a blog. I always thought that it was something I wasn't capable of but with some motivation I encouraged myself to do it. I feel like now, I am ready for it. I have always been interested in reading and writing which is why I combined the two interests together and started blogging.

2. Tell us a little bit about yourself?

This is a very open question and I could talk about myself for hours. So, I have decided to choose 4 interesting facts about myself that I don't think have been mentioned on my blog.

I am determined to achieve what I want my future to look like. I have planned out my whole future and I will do everything in my power to make it come true.
I am half Irish and half English
I have 2 cats, 2 rabbits and 1 dog
I will be going to University in September to study Education Studies and Drama

3. Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

In 5 years time I see myself qualifying as a teacher and hopefully teaching primary education or drama at college level. I would like to have my own or rented house and settled in with rabbits and a dog. I understand that anything can happen but I have a very strong mindset and I am determined to make sure my future looks like how I have it planned in my head.

4. What is your favourite film?

GOODNIGHT MR. TOM - Goodnight Mister Tom is a children's novel by the English author Michelle Magorian, published by Kestrel in 1981. It is set during World War II and is about a boy who is abused at home in London who is evacuated to the country at the outbreak of the war. It has a sad story-line throughout but a really happy ending that makes me cry of happiness every-time.

5. If you were president, what first thing would you do?

If I were to be president which is completely impossible I would probably try to help those as much as I could. I am all for helping those less fortunate. I do this whenever I can anyway, by doing fundraisers etc which is why I would try harder being president as I would be considered as higher authority. Id imagine others would support me by doing this and we could make a change in the world.

6. What is the most random thing you have watched on Netflix all the way through?

Unfortunately I can't answer this question as I don't have a Netflix account.

7. Do you believe in ghosts?

I haven't decided... the reason being I have not had any paranormal experiences. I don't ever believe anything unless it has happened to me or there is clear evidence. Maybe I just don't want to believe it because it will scare me I don't know. Perhaps my beliefs will change in the future.

8. What age do you feel right now and why?

I feel my age of 20. I am living my life being a 20 year old meeting up with friends, going out, enjoying myself and taking every day as it comes. I will be going to university in September which I am looking forward to very much. Currently, I am working full time at the whilst on my gap year from education.

9. If you won the lottery what would you do?
If I won a large amount on the lottery, I would buy myself a house and ensure I have a sufficient amount in a savings account, in case something was to go wrong. I would distribute the rest of my money to charities ensuring that it helps and provides others like myself a shelter, food, water and clothing. Making a different and helping others is what I am passionate and strongly about doing.

10. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?

2am.. get in a car with no plans and see where I end up. I would love to do this with someone who would like to go travelling with me. It would be so special to just leave and live each day not knowing what's round the corner a part from travelling the world unplanned. The places I would like to visit most is Sydney (Australia) and New York (America). From living in the U.K. these places are so far away from me which is why I would like to visit there more that other places in the world. I have always dreamed of travelling to these places and one day I hope I do.

11. What do you feel most proud of?

For most of my life I have had a lot of negative people around me who thought I would never be able to get into my chosen university and course. I am extremely proud of myself for doing this as it has proved a lot of people wrong and has given me the motivation I need to believe in myself. I have pushed myself my whole life making sure that I get the grades and qualifications I need to pursue my career.

4 WAYS TO KEEP YOUR RELATIONSHIP STRONG & HEALTHY!

From looking on the internet for inspiration of how to take photos to show relationship goals, it made me feel very sceptical about the whole idea. If you are wanting to create these photos and are feeling negativity about you and your partner as to why you don't already have this then you should take a minute to realise what you have and not what you hope to have. Being goals is very overrated because you are inspired to be like that and you shouldn't be because your love towards your partner is far too special to ruin trying to be like somebody else. Even if you can't see it, others around you will want to have what you have. If you look through all your photos together you will see that what you have is unique. The quality of the photos might not be great but the love that you both have with one another is more powerful than that.

I arranged an afternoon out with my partner and friends to recreate something special. To create moments together you need to be real. Instead of focusing on what you could be like, focus on what you are both like. We are all different and express ourselves in different ways, but that doesn't mean you can't be goals. Don't make each other feel uncomfortable because you want to be 'goals'. It won't come across that way to the viewers or people on your feed. You need to be natural and just show pure love around each other, capturing treasured moments because that is what will show across in your photos.

4 REALISTIC RELATIONSHIP GOALS TO ACHIEVE WHILST CAPTURING THESE MEMORIES IN PHOTOS TO REPRESENT BEING RELATIONSHIP GOALS

1. TO BE HAPPY TOGETHER

The top relationship goal should be for happiness with your partner. You want to make them happy no matter what. You are both something special to one another and it is very important that you are with them because you want to make a difference in their day to day life. You are to be there when they need you because you are more than likely the sunshine to their day. You should make sure you are happy together, rather than just being together for the sake of it. Even if you're having a hard day being together, as this can happen, then my advice is to communicate verbally with each other and say one thing that makes you happy about the other person. Your goal that day is to show or do that thing because that is going to make the both of you happy and change the atmosphere.

2. TRY SOMETHING NEW EVERY MONTH

It doesn't matter what it is, but make it new and make it happen. Trying out new things is creating new exciting memories and keeping your relationship fresh. Even if you have been together for years this is a great way for you to share special moments together that you can look forward to doing every month.
Now, this is interesting because it can be anything, for example:
* Spontaneous walks/adventures
* Eating out at food restaurants
* Watching a new film
* Date night - each month different
* New recipes e.g. cake or dinner
* Road trip
* A new activity

3. SHOW APPRECIATION EVERY DAY

There are so many ways you can show this by acknowledging one an others personal interests on how to behave around and to each other. For example; if your partner likes to have a lot of compliments to make them self feel good then you should do that. Another example, is if your partner likes to know when they have done something good then just give them a little thank you so they are aware. These are such small things that you most likely already do but by knowing this you can do it more often. It doesn't matter if it's over something small, the recognition is such a lovely thing and it can make your day so much better. It is so important to show appreciation to one another as it is a good way to stay connected and positive.

4. SUPPORT EACH OTHERS GOALS AND AMBITIONS

Supporting each others goals and ambitions is so important. You need to be there for them throughout especially when something out of the blue happens. You are there to boost them up and to give them the advice and confidence they need to pursue their career. Whether it is if they are changing an educational course or if they are starting up their own business, you need to show them support to give them belief that they can do it and that you will be with them every step of the way.

It's going to be a monthly promise. The middle of every month. I will be telling you about my monthly obsessions. This is so that you can find out what products I have been using, pros and cons, where you can get them and a chance to know a little bit about myself. Let's begin with my top 5:

1. MAKE UP: Arbonne Foundation

Many of you on Instagram ask me what foundation I use, as my skin looks natural and has a really good coverage. I am really amazed that some of you think this and this month I must admit it has been used a lot, especially with the kind of videos Georgia and myself have been making. The brand that I use is called Arbonne. Arbonne is a company that have over 450 products including; make-up, skin care, hair care, men's range, nutrition, baby range and many more. All their products are based on botanical principles which makes them pure, safe and beneficial. My reason for choosing Arbonne is that their products are ultra premium and they are vegan and gluten free which is very important to me as I hate animal testing. I think the prices for this brand are definitely an affordable luxury.

I use the honey beige shade which I personally think is the right shade for me. It is a multi-tasking liquid foundation with skin-firming properties that help lift the facial contours, smooth and creates an even skin tone. It also has SPF 15 which is always a bonus when buying a foundation. As you can see my skin has an even coverage and there is no lines at all from my natural colour to my foundation. I have never been happier using this product. It really is a luxury. It has taken me a very long time to find the right foundation which is good for my skin, helps to prevent spots and gives me a natural looking coverage. 2. GRAZE: Lemon Drizzle Flapjack

This Lemon Drizzle Flapjack is a perfect healthy snack for those of you who are cutting

down on snacks and treats. It is made by a company called Graze who wanted to find a better way to snack rather than having unhealthy snacks. I recently discovered Graze when shopping in Sainsbury's buying my classic meal deal. Something caught my eye when I saw all the selection of Graze snacks. I'm not really sure what caught my attention particular about the Lemon Drizzle Flapjack compare to the others, but I believe it was the thought of lemon and flapjack which are my favourite snacks and flavours combined together. The Lemon Drizzle Flapjack is made with whole British oats, zesty lemon curd and a yogurt drizzle. I was mesmerised by the packaging and how nicely presented it was. Trying it for the first time was a blessing. I don't know why it took me so long to find these and give them a try but I absolutely loved it. The consistency of the lemon with the flapjack was perfect. I cannot fault this at all. This suited my sweet cravings and although the portion is small, it filled me up. Because it suited my appetite I only had 248 calories rather than 467 calories.These are very high in fibre and protein which makes them very good for dietary needs, snacking and perfect for busy days. Every product is between £1-£2 which is definitely affordable and can easily be replaced with the snacks that we have/use everyday.

This Ted Baker notebook was given to me as a present for my 20th Birthday along with a matching pen and bag. The minute I opened this notebook I fell in love with it straight away. I was scared to use it at first as I didn't want to use it for something then stop and not ever use it again because it is so cute. I have now realised that there are 'good' notebooks. This one is perfect. The quality of the paper is just phenomenal and I believe you do pay for quality with these kind of notebooks. There's been a couple of months where it has been sitting in my room not being used but I have put it to good use and I am using it for the planning of my blog. As you can see it is filled with a variety of sticky notes which are essentials when going to school, college or university. "WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS, MAKE LEMONADE", a cute quote is on the cover of most of their notebooks which gives it the extra touch and makes it personal.

4. FASHION: Black Floral Bodysuit

This is a Black mesh bodysuit with a floral print on it. I have seen these bodysuits being worn by my fashion inspirations Little Mix who wear a lot of mesh clothing and bodysuits on stage. To find this beautiful bodysuit I just typed what I was looking for on google. This one caught my eye straight away and I believe it was the beautiful floral print. I absolutely love it. It fits so well and it is very comfortable. I really like these style of tops as in summer they are a cool classy piece of clothing which can be worn with jeans, shorts or skirts. I don't think these go well with leggings but that is my own opinion. I would definitely wear this out casually with jeans and boots or with a skirt shown in the picture. I think you could wear this on a night out too by wearing black high waist jeans and boots. As boohoo is online only, you have to be very certain about what size you get. I can always take them back but it is a bit of a hassle. The one shown in the picture is a size 10. I am normally a size 8 but I got a slightly bigger size as I have quite long arms and a long body. I think I chose the right size as I cannot fault this at all. It is perfect and I am completely loving it at the moment. For only £10... you can't complain!

5. SKIN CARE: Calm Gentle Daily Cleanser

"Be nice to your skin. Factual information that is true. From using this I can say that it works very well for taking my make up off. Now that I use this I no longer need to use baby wipes or tissues. This daily cleanser is fantastic when taking off make up. It is so simple and I recommend this to anyone who finds it difficult to remove make up. I find it much better than using wipes as sometimes I have found them to sting or irritate my face and often using wipes can be bad for your skin as I doesn't get rid of everything which can result in spots. DIY: HOW TO TURN YOUR OLD CLOTHES INTO NEW CLOTHES

Bored of your current clothes and don't want to spend money on a new outfit... I have a perfect alternative, with a few simple steps you can revamp your wardrobe. If you're like me, and you change your fashion styles regularly because you are inspired by fashion icons/celebrities, then this is a very easy way of changing your old clothes into new clothes with no extra cost.

What you need:

Old clothes
Scissors

That's it!

First of all, I have decided to use a Burgundy strap tank top as my first example; by changing it into a classy halter top that you can wear smart or casually with jeans, leggings, shorts or skirts. These are very popular in a girls wardrobe and I can almost guarantee that you will have one of these lying about in there. I have chosen these in particular as they are cheap and accessible in most clothing stores, they are very basic meaning you can add your own design on them and they are great for all seasons, as under layers or as a new fashion statement in summer.

2 simple steps:

Face the tank top front down and simply cut off both the back straps. Don't worry if it isn't perfect as it will not be seen.
Put the tank top on and tie the straps behind your neck in a bow.

WOW! How have I not done this sooner? I absolutely love it. I think it puts a twist on an everyday casual top. It makes it look classy and cute. I would definitely wear this on a casual date with some skinny jeans and boots. I think this is a great example of showing that 'less is more' as it looks flawless. I am so happy with the results of this and I can highly recommend you to try it with all your crop or long strap tops.

Another piece of old clothing I have decided to re-use, is a pair of black thin tights to recreate a fashionable mesh see-through top that you can wear with leggings or jeans with some heeled boots. These have recently been worn on various style icons; including Little Mix and Ariana Grande, who I am inspired by most when searching for fashion ideas. This is an amazing alternative which gives the same effect and saves a lot of money if you are on a budget.

2 simple steps:

If you have footless tights move on to step 2. However, the first step is to cut the feet off. This is because the legs from the tights will be used for your arms. If you have long arms you should cut a little bit and then cut more if you need to once you'd tried it on.
This is the most important part but also the easiest part. You want to cut out a V shape where the crouch is. This will be the opening for the head and the neck line. You can choose how low you'd like it to be. If you cut it small the neck line will be higher and if you cut it bigger the neck line will be lower.

All done. Again, I personally think that this looks like a smart crop top. If you don't have a crop top that is see-through then using tights is a really good idea. If you're not interested in using tights then you can use any form of trousers using the same process. It does not have to be perfect as you honestly cannot see any faults. You want these to be unique. Try using different materials, styles and designs. You can recreate all your old unwanted clothes and make them unique and stylish. I challenge you to try anything from shorts, leggings, jeggings or jeans.

Hi, I'm Bryoni and this is my first ever blog...

It will please some of you to know, that I almost titled this article 'know me'. Half way through, I realised that it would be completely impossible for me to express my whole life, personal interests and thoughts in just one blog.

From being a small YouTuber for 3 and a half years, I have decided to take a leap of faith by creating my own personal blog; for you to find out about myself, understand my thoughts and opinions and to know about my past experiences and life stories.

At 20 years old, I am very passionate and enthusiastic about my future which is why I'd like to educate others to believe in themselves to recognise that a negative situation could always turn out to be positive, depending on how you look at it. If it wasn't for my past I would never be the person I am today, or tomorrow, who is very honest and open about my everyday lifestyle. I am prepared to express myself and share my journey with you deeper on this blog as well as on YouTube because I believe I have something special to share with you.

I have many reasons for starting a personal blog, here are a few: expressing myself (getting my voice heard), connecting with people who are/have experienced the same issues/situations as myself, communicate and make friends online and make a difference in people's lives for the better. I am really looking forward to creating this blog and sharing it with you so that you can 'Walk In My Steps' and follow me every step of the way.
