He that will not work, let him not eat; this is a popular saying, a lot of people know this and can recite it from backwards; but how come it’s not a watchword; how come it has become a life-style; even society and technology in many ways promotes and advocates it, invents new tools and materials to facilitate Laziness. However let’s take a closer look at this issue. Let’s start by examine some views, then we come to the basic meaning and terms; after which we consider if it’s something we should look forward to have or discard; and maybe talk some more about it.

A life of leisure and a life of laziness are two things. There will be sleeping enough in the grave.

Ok this is quite amazing listening to this guys; I hope you don’t expect me to start off by defining what laziness is; if you are, I hope you won’t be mad If I don’t; you can look up www.wikipedia.com ; it could give you an updated version of what laziness is; however Jules Renard said some words that are striking, ..”Laziness is nothing more…” that means laziness cannot be far-fetch from this. He argues that it’s a HABIT, it’s a way of life, something that happen spontaneously, something that happens without the permission of the conscious of the individual; it’s kind of a default system in the person, Wow! This is serious already. He goes on to say that laziness is the HABIT of RESTING before you get tired; wow this is quite familiar to me and am sure it’s not alien to you, so Renard is telling me that when I want to rest before am even tired then am lazy already. So he is trying to say that the only time you rest is when you are tired, so he is not against resting, but he thinks that when rest comes before tiredness, then you are lazy; so what is rest, is rest meaning sleep? Is rest meaning siting down on the couch for the last four hours doing stuff that is un-productive (with no ability to add value whatsoever to your live) like playing poker or chatting or watching movies or sleeping or complaining about how life or some substances are not coming forth, gossiping or hanging out with friends; a renowned preacher said and I quite agree with him that the sleep of the laborer is sweet; so there is no escaping it whether you are sophisticated or not, you must labor or pay someone to do it for you. He went further to say that nothing can be done without a doer, nothing can work without a worker; so you must work the work whether now or later. Pastor Terry (Gospel pillars Church, Abuja) said something that I can’t forget, he said that there is structure or pattern for mankind as far as working and earning is, from age 0 – 30 is a period of learning, don’t get me wrong it’s a standard, by age 30 you should have learnt all you need to live the next phase of your life; from age 30 – 60 you should earn, it’s a period for you to earn, you should not be trying to earn at 61, why? Because from age 60 – above you should Yearn, this is time for you to wake in the morning, pick up the newspaper after you had said your prayers (which was filled with gratitude to God for a fulfilled life) and had a walk in the garden talking with your eldest son or daughter about handling his/her marriage or the family business; you are looking at the headlines of the newspaper having your breakfast wondering whether to travel Frankfurt to deliver a speech at a business summit or to Tokyo to address your staffs or to calabar in Nigeria for a week-long holiday or stay back to read bedtime stories to your grandson that night; you then quickly call your personal assistant ask for any scheduled appointments. Then you remember that you are partnering with some organizations who is making the world a better place. Is that not a good life, I could go on and on, but you might think this is a fictional and unrealistic fantasy; however this is the life we are wired to live. But some of us the way your life is going now, by age 60 you will still be trying to beat traffic so you can make it on time to office so there will be no query on your table for coming late or so that your business will not suffer a big loss because you had to wait on the line for your turn at the gas station; and after work you had to rush home to ensure you make dinner for your two kids and put an eye on them as they do their school work because your wife has divorced you or your husband had walked away and you forgot you needed to see your doctor at the general hospital because of your back pain; which will definitely revisit whenever you bend down or the thinks of bending down, there is already a box of tissue beside your over-ten-year old mattress which you use to wipe tears and in the morning you tell yourself to the hearing of your kids that its God’s plan for my life, that it’s your destiny! And your kids look at you with nostalgia and you smile at them as fake hope springs out of your dimples and you think their minds are blank, you don’t know they hate their life already.

Yes it’s crazy, but it’s as a result of a little sleep, a little folding of the hands to sleep, finding excuses whether legit or not to sleep or rest as it is called when you should be earning or learning; its starts with being excuse driven, giving excuse for every mistake and failure, its starts with procrastinating and idleness some time in your prime age; the funny thing here is that it’s a cycle, before you die you must complete the cycle or be in one phase of the cycle; so if you spend your time to yearn now when you are supposed to learn or earn, you will surely need to earn at the time for yearning. Laziness is bad, it cannot be over-emphasized, it can’t, but then let’s not forget we are wired to work and have pleasure; but then there is a way it should go.

However laziness can be sponsored by aliens (demons), it can also be a value system and thought process; it can be a chain, a yoke which is strong and stubborn; however this issue is not intended to mock you or make it worse or hopeless, if you find yourself under this category, it doesn’t matter what the cause is, whether it is by demon or chain or habit; whatsoever is the case there is a fixer, this guy fixes this kind of stuff, but first you need to create an account with him which is simple and very free, after then you need to apply for fixing! SPEED: Today, Tomorrow & Days After

There are quite a number of reasons why people/ church folks don't receive from God.A question was once asked, (can I give you a gift and you don't get to receive it?), if your answer is yes, which is true, that means that many times God blesses us but we don't get to receive the blessing. now its not his fault that we don't receive. its the fact that we have a number of adversaries that prevent us from receiving. these factors range from spiritual to character to mindsets and sheer ignorance.

God is interested in me, you and us making progress. many times we try but we don't get to receive from God, we starts complaining, we have so much hope and expectations, we go to church the pastor motivates us, when we enter the week with so much hope, we meet Limitations that prevents us from getting our desire, we start becoming frustrated, which leads to almost giving up; here comes Sunday, we dress our best, put on a toothpaste smile and get motivated again by the end of the church service and the cycle continues. truth is you cant continue doing the same thing and expect a different result. now to break out of this cycle, enjoy a good life and maximize the blessing of God, we need to start doing somethings differently, applying some principles and experiencing speed in our life today, tomorrow and days after.

fore-mostly, Ernest and fervent prayers consistently, daily and regularly; this kind of prayers must involve speaking in tongues till you start groaning; (note there is no short-cut to prayers, you must speak in tongues, you don't have to understand the tongues you are speaking; read the book of Acts of the Apostles, Romans and Hebrews in the Holy Bible to confirm this points) this kind of prayer can be referred to or code-named Auto Intercession (Romans 8vs26). the thoughts of God for us are nothing but Awesome, Wonderful and Good and its aimed or geared towards giving us an expected end. (Jeremiah 29 vs 11); but if you read the next verse after this; its says to access this good you MUST pray and seek the face of God. I dont want to over flock this issue, you must pray fervently and daily.

after the praying you must Labor in the WORD of GOD. this principle have been over-stressed over time. in life due to the various cycles we have found ourselves, we have a thought pattern, our minds are re-set to think in a particular way; this can also be referred to as a Negative Program that the devil has written in our mind. (Joyce argued that the battlefield is the mind), if that's true, then we need to be careful what we allow into our mind, so that we don't shoot ourselves on the foot and loose the battles by allowing stuff into our minds that will betray us. in order to erase this program the devil has written in our minds through life situation and events, we must STAY in the WORD of GOD. the word of God has the capacity to erase doubts and put faith in your hearts which is needed to make answerable, effective and fervent prayers. Hebrew 4vs1-2; Roamns 4 vs 17, Deut 11 vs 10-21, Hebrew 4vs3, 4; the long and short is that we must labor in the word of God. we must get to a point where we think about it, talk about it, write it on our walls and gist about it.

after laboring in the word consistently and daily, we must get and put our faith into work. God does not meet you inside and give you the increase you must work; so after praying and studying the word of God, you must go out and work. that is when God can bless you (#the works of your Hand).you must combine your faith (word + prayers) with work; the bible in proverbs said have you seen a man diligent in his service, he would not stand before mean man, but before kings and princes. he that deals with a slack hand shall come to poverty).

after the days work before the next day ensure you PRAISE God. for the anticipated blessing, increase, prosperity, blessing and GOOD life. this is the final principle that when applied after the others above in whatsoever pattern you want or convenient for you, not long, in a short while, very short while you will experience SPEED in your Life. its not a prayer point, its a promise to you! am sure you want to upgrade from where you are now to a higher place. (please if you are satisfied with the level you are in life now, this is not FOR YOU, just tell sombody about it or share it some one else. thank you!

Everyone has a virtue, everyone have strengths and weakness, everyone has expectations; so you can say all you want (after all its a natural right); amongst all she was (is ) exemplary as she displayed a high level of #PATIENCE. truth is I don't know if I can ever attain that level of patience. she is the S.I unit of #EmotionalIntelligence. today I celebrate her and that virtue in her. she is a Leader! you think am crazy, step into her shoes for 1hour, you will know that Calabar is a big town.

I look at the Seat, Shoes, Robe, Rod and Staff that was handed over to me in good faith; I weep so much for the bearer of them now. Moreover I have no regrets; I ran the race, I finished, I won laurels, I made mistakes, I learn from them; I made friends, enemies, well-wishers, lovers, all etc. am still in the game and am making progress.

A Letter to my PAST

Hey guy, wassup? Hope you are fine, hope you are doing good; hope am not owing you anything, am really sure we are square. I tried my best with God's help to reconcile with you properly; I know most of my friends wont, lets not be enemies, but would be best if we don't ever cross path. my future is close, I called her yesterday, she wants to meet me, she is so happy and we have this grand plan and its so beautiful, this is the main reason am writing you, if you show up? she is gonna think am gay! God forbid. and we both know that our relationship was nothing close to that, am sorry the times and the things we shared aren't my favorite, right now you really have to be far far behind me, you practically have to go the opposite direction.
you know you happened to witness the dispensation of my life where I made very wrong decisions, very hurting and regrettable actions, I even doubted God, took ownership of 95% shares of my life, even though I tried to develop myself, I made very bad to worse mistakes that I had volumes of learning to do; you remember those nights I cried and cried and the tears wont stop pouring, you see you hold a lot of memories both bad and worse and am seriously fine without them. Now I have this friend his name is present he came from God; he is going to mentor or coach me, basically he will help me be a better person, he'll help me prepare to meet my future, I told you she is close; he is helping me understand myself properly; he said when I know myself well, alot of things will fall in place; he is teaching me to always trust God and also how to activate God's principles and make it work for myself, he showed me clearly how to make use of the lessons I've learned when we were friends; he whispers to me every morning who to trust and who not to trust, what and what not to have confidence in.

I wish you the best in every of your endeavor, I basically have so much to do right now, Know & learn. THEORY OF FIRST IMPRESSION, ITS HAVOC ON HUMMANITY

What is first impression and why are people so crazy about it; lets work with this definition: FIRST: earlier than rest , occurring before others in a series; IMPRESSION : what stays in somebody's mind: a lasting effect, opinion, or mental image of somebody or something. So reconcile these thought to your taste and derive the definition for your self; but which ever way they say you cannot judge a book by its cover, consequently it would be plunder and a waste of your time and resource to subscribe to first impression.

Companies, countries, establishment and even religious premises have lost so much including time because of this factor and the funniest of it is that the menace has been re-occurring for centuries and lessons have not yet been derived from this theory; they say people are the best asset, every body is good but every is not right; so this makes people put up appearances and attitudes to deceive other people. Even in the bible, the first king of Israel was chosen out of fist impression and it cost Israel a great deal, companies have lost billions of dollars, institutions are built on decit, marriages fail easily due to first impression, relationships, people are hurt and dwell in it because of this problem, generations are destroyed due to this first impression; you reading this now is a victim of first impression so why do you still subscribe to it?

How would you feel when someone judges you and have a negative impression of you in five minutes of meeting you (draws conclusion to your personality because a gesture), trust me you don’t want that! I can assure you that the energy and resource you would put together to avoid that can be used productively and would yield result; why invest on your impression towards people while there is a dying world to save? You are a CEO and you employ someone because you think he/she is responsible because of fluency in English and decency in dressing, trust me you will soon discover that all that glitters aren’t gold; there is more to people than what you can see, my Christian brothers would opt to marry a girl because she can sing so angelic or she would go crazy about the guy because he is funny! Wow what a danger, that’s why we have problems keeping a home, a lot of broken marriages and some folks outside Africa are proud to be a single mother or father, what a shame? My mum would say it’s not about getting married, it’s about staying married!

How else can I try to convince you that this theory has done more harm than good, even in government politicians put up appearances and gestures, suddenly becomes generous and careful so as to win votes, funny the populace would always be deceived, trust me even in the next election; first impression would be used to judge candidates. Companies have crumbled, till tomorrow HR firms would continue to make million dollar mistakes because of this factor; am so sorry for you if your friendship for someone was built on this premise.

Wait a minute, before you argue with me, first impression is important and useful but should not be the basis or bedrock for perception; it shouldn’t be a guild for your relationship with someone or something! It should not be a motivator or catalyst for relationships. It’s your job to find out more, be patient and optimistic enough towards the next person; in primary school we where taught the person next to us is our neighbor. contrary to present day soceity present

BRIBERY, VARYING PERSPECTIVES

Pastor OAKS, Finbank Jos, explained that bribery is any gift which is intended to pervert JUSTICE; of course this is a very contemporary topic in present day Nigeria, many Nigerian see this phenomenon as a means to an end, an integral part of a process or system, an activator or catalyst to speed progress or boycott bureaucracy; with the increasing demand for time and the high value placed on it, Nigerians have found or created innovative ways to save it, use it, explore it, give and take it; in relation to this very familiar topic BRIBERY, time is very essential. Do people really call it bribery, my guess is there many posh and justifying words for the term under discuss; it bothers me why people have welcomed it open arms and accepted it as norm in the society! Question is: does it work? Answer is: YES; people have accepted it, it works for them, funny enough there are more advanced ways to go about it; it however declares the degree of moral decadence of a given society. If we consider pastor OAK’s definition, we must observe it carefully; firstly: ANY GIFT, so gift may not necessarily be a bribe. This tells me that, if I receive a gift from you today, am not supposed to pervert justice to your favor tomorrow with the notion that I owe you favor in return because of your previous gifts; that means I must do away with the mindset that every gift or favor must be re-payed in other forms.

However this is a very sensitive subject. People give gifts with a pre-calculated motive to demand or expect favor in return in the nearest future. And many times to pervert justice, this does not negates the saying that says “one good turn, deserves another” but if I give you a car, I should expect a free ride or a car at most from you, not falsification of a budget to my favor or signing attendance in class for me or lying on my behalf; this is ridiculous and negates every moral standards, both in school and in religious centers;

Question is, why give a bribe or expect one, there is such integrity, morality and posterity; these subjects transcends any long or short term goal, any situation or need; ie this values should be the watch word of every Nigerian; these are values when up-held create a formidable foundation for prosperity and economic development. Seriously Bribery is not sustainable, take it or leave it; my late dad, would always say to me that “the short cut is definitely the wrong cut” if it doesn’t manifest now, it will later; Mr. mohammed ahmed- MD Profile Builders Jos; argued that “Desperation determines who makes the offer and who pays the price” so in a system where Bribery is the modus operandi, what is the solution? Should` I beat them or join them, should I ignore them or leave the system? Stay tuned for more perspective!! Mean while WHAT IS YOUR TAKE ON BRIBERY?

Ok what is success, I know you must have one charming definition for this most revered term; for me its simply overcoming every challenge that comes every step of the way. It may not be the best of meaning, for me doing everything I set out to do in a day is success; due to the paucity of time, we may not be able to discuss your own meaning of success. What is success for Nigeria? By my opinion, surviving from 1960 till this day as a geo-political location is a success, so for me; if Nigeria is not yet a failed-state, then it is a success; question is how did we become a state in the first place? How did we remain a state till today; I think this module(answers) will help us a clue on how we can solve our many other problems as a nation(state). In summary, with collective efforts and a spirit of nationalism our leaders gave us state; however I must say that with a sense of ownership and tolerance we have remained a state, no doubts there are glaring problems choking us on the throat, but we have managed to breath; problems are path a man’s life, lets not assume that Nigeria cant have one or many! Problems are meant to be solved, the reasons why we have problems is so that we can task our brains and resources to solve them; not to complain and raise blame but to ask objective questions and attack the problem from the root; with this approach answers are bound to surface, not just solutions but lasting ones.

I beseech us a stop apportioning blames to people and take ownership of the problem, lets stop asking God to come down and do a miracle (because we would be living in Mirage) the only Miracle we must be grateful to God for is that we have Hands, Legs, Brains and Minds which is all we could ask for; Moreover this job of understanding our problems (as a result of asking objective & real questions), analyzing the problems, finding lasting solutions and solving the questions (holistically) is solely for the Nigerian. There are no more readily Nigerian than the Youth; the youth is an Integral part of Nigeria’s success story, the youth is key to implementing whatsoever change is needed.

There are quite a number of reasons why the youth has a significant role to play in making Nigeria a success in the shortest possible period of time (because that’s our yearning) we would consider a few; due to lack of time. The youth signifies the energy level and texture of Nigeria; in other words a typical youth in Nigeria is full of energy & tenacity due to fact that he/she has only himself and his future to think about and spend time on, due to the economy most are still dependent on their parents; during the fuel subsidy saga early this year the energy level that was demonstrated through several medium(occupy Nigeria) was one of those; so in science we were told that energy can be channeled, converted an distributed. If the Nigerian youth synergies her energy, channel & distribute it in the right direction? Change will occur in the speed of light.

A sizeable chunk of the Nigerian Youth presently are educated(formally or formally), I believe they have the pre-requisite experience to understand and name the problems and challenges Nigeria is facing today; so if that can happen? Then its a huge step towards solving the problems Nigeria; because you cant solve a problem if you don’t know exists, if you cant name it and if you don’t understand it. The Nigerian youth must brace up to the fact that, it is her duty to know and understand the problems of Nigeria and not wait to be told by the media or by some older generation who may have vested interest; (this brings back to what I said earlier that the right knowledge & understanding can only come as a result of asking Right & objective questions, making insightful researches and understanding the problems without victimization or vested interest.

A clergy defined thinking as “taking one problem out of your list of problems, ponder over it until you find a solution, then you move to the next question (one problem at a time) 6^th edition oxford advanced learning dictionary defined thinking as “to use your mind to consider something, to form connected ideas, to try to solve problems” etc. am particular about the time and tool involved; any thing outside this definition is worrying or something else; the tool is the Mind which is used to consider a problem at a given time; when this happens solutions and change happen in the speed of light. Permit me to say that the older generation are too busy to observe this ritual, so what they do is worry, they consider so many things at a time, moreover we cant blame them because time is not in their favor. Most of them are struggling to give we the younger generation a better life, so that the responsibility to THINK rest on the shoulder of the Nigerian Youth. I strongly believe that the youth is in the right position and capacity to productively THINK towards making Nigeria a success story in place of complain and worry. The worry leads to depression which gives birth to unrest and many other things.

Moreover, there is no better time than now for the youth to take up leadership of the nation’s sensitive and non-sensitive offices. Leadership is about an OFFICE not a position, its about DUTY not title; a friend of mine in politics once said to me that the place of leadership is the place to implement structural and even development; More so its no longer an option it is a choice that must be taken now; because it’s a platform for critical and drastic decisions after objective thinking and consideration without vested interest. However if economic wealth is shifting to the young people, then I believe more strongly that the youth through leadership will make Nigeria a success in a short possible time because leadership doesn’t start from the office (when elected) it starts from the polling unit, it starts from a rich political culture, it starts from utilizing peaceful medium to express agitations, disagreement and opinions; it starts from making objective & logical decision in relation to politics (leadership) rather than sentiments and tribalism, it start from making objective & logical decisions in relation to politics (leadership) rather than sentiments and tribalism, it starts from doing the right thing at the right time without vested interest, fear or favour, it starts from showing good examples and others taking a cue, it starts from doing something about a situation or issue instead of complaining and apportioning blame, it starts from saying No to corruption it starts from you.

Another reason, I believe the youth is a critical part of Nigeria success is that there is a gradual shift of economic wealth from the hands of the old generations to the hands of the youth. In other words, before today Money (wealth) is transferred to a new generation by the outgoing (retiring) generation; but the wealth rotates and revolves around the Men/Women the same age brackets. Today Entrepreneurship has never been tried by young people like any other time in the history of mankind; from the likes of fela durotoyin of Nigeria to Mark Zukarberg of USA etc. these are historic examples that indicates a rather radical shift of economic strength from the old men and women to the young people of the world; with a quick glance at our most budding and commercial marketplace from the Araria market of aba to the Onitsha main market of anambra, the sabon gari market of kano to the terminus market of Jos, from the sabo market of kaduna a to the ceddi plaza of Abuja to the oshodi market of lagos to (mention but of a few) one is convinced that the youth is gaining economic voice which is instrumental to implementing change (a must-critical element for Nigeria’s success).

Moreover, I believe that the youth have a crucial part to play in the success of the nation; the youth must brace up to reality and salvage the nation. If our fathers have failed us then we can’t afford to fail the up-coming generations.
