LG KS 360

LG launched the KS360 - a fairly ordinary smart-ish phone with a slidey-out keyboard and.. not much else. It was probably meant to be a competitor for the iPhone.

Oddly, this failed to set the mobile world alight and many considered the KS360 to have been consigned to the bottom drawer of history. Not so fast, though! LG has exhumed the KS360 and stuffed it full of Android goodness, ready for another crack at the champ.

The phone is largely unaltered since its debut - 2MP camera, touchscreen, slidey keyboard, etc. - but LG will be adding 3G to the mix.

This is a glossy device with a number of different lighting effects and an a bold, circular sweep on the outside the surrounds the small external display. In design terms, there is a lot of the Z750 and Z780 in this phone, and it is perhaps a little odd that Sony Ericsson have dropped the "Z" designation that they have always used for clamshell phones in the past.
Sony Ericsson say the the themes change between night and day, individual callers can be assigned their own lighting effects and the T707 has gesture controls for muting calls or silencing the alarm.
There will be three colours available, Spring Rose, Lucid Blue and Mysterious Black. It is quite a girlie phone to look at, and the range of "Maria Sharapova" accessories (such as a carry bag) definitely reinforce this impression.
Underneath the glossy and attractive exterior is a fairly standard Sony Ericsson device. This is quad-band GSM phone with support for UMTS and HSDPA data. The T707a (for the Americas) supports tri-band UMTS 850 / 1900 / 2100, elsewhere the T707 supports 2100 MHz UMTS only. In other words, this is a 3G device with support for high-speed downloads where networks allow. The T707 supports Memory Stick Micro (M2) cards, comes with stereo Blutooth, a multimedia player and an FM radio.

The nokia 5000 is a stylish candybar phone with features that will keep up with you even when you’re on the move. Most striking about the phone is the way its design. Using the Nokia Xpress Audio Messaging, you can send a message to another user with the same software at blazing speeds. If you ever find yourself with some down time then you can use the included FM radio and mp3 player to catch up on some tunes.

Naturally this phone comes with Bluetooth and a great GPRS connectivity to show that Nokia has really thought of every great feature that could bring this phone together.

HTC TOUCH DIAMOND 2

HTC is following up on its ultra-sexy touchphone, the Touch Diamond, with the new Touch Diamond2, which seems quite worthy of the title of successor. This time around there's much more room for screen, with a huge 3.6-inch 480 x 800 LCD up front, and around back there's a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus. The other main addition is a "touch zoom bar" below the screen -- just like on big brother Touch Pro2 -- which we presume provides expected (and welcome) functionality. There's also the new version of TouchFLO 3D running on Windows Mobile, but under the hood there's the same old 528MHz processor, and the whole kit is actually a tad thicker a 0.54-inches. Still, memory is up to 512MB ROM and 288MB RAM, and if HTC keeps hoisting pixels and sexy on us at this rate we can hardly complain.

But 2MB is not enough to store a single decent MP3, so I can't see how exactly you should use that MP3 Player.
