I don't know why High School is such a poignant time for me; I guess it is because I was happy, thin and had a lot of friends.<br /> <br /> As I grew older, got married, joined the military and had four children, I soon saw myself start to look a little haggard. I thought to my self, “What happened to that cute girl from high school?”<br /> <br /> I longed for that girl again; I longed for that skinny, funny, happy kid.. Where did she go? I went through the years just excepting the way things were and thought that I was just destined to be an overweight mother of four.<br /> <br /> I had tried Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Neutra System and a host of others. I found only that the food was nasty and I was not making any progress. I then started to research weight loss surgery, which was uneventful as I was not “obese” enough to qualify for the surgery.<br /> <br /> I then looked into weight loss clinics; I tried one in 2007 and found that all that was happening was I felt like I was hopped up on amphetamines. That was not a good feeling. I quit that and resigned to the fact that nothing was going to help me. I tried eating less, working out daily and everything else prescribed by my nutritionist.<br /> <br /> Nothing was working. I then called a clinic that spoke about HCG.. I thought to my self, that is what they look for when you’re pregnant. How could this help me? I started researching the HCG diet on line and found a plethora of websites. I read about it, I asked about it, and then I started it.<br /> <br /> I am now on day 3 ph 2 and can’t wait to see what will become of my fat… I am hoping for at least a 25 pound weight loss in 30 days.. We will see..
