Technology has been a part of our life, ever since we are born. Scientists, researchers, inventions and theories explaining an existence of something are already there. The eagerness of human to know something new and to discover new things lead us to a high technology that we have now. Things that we have now which are products of technology indeed helped us a lot in so many different ways. Computers are just one of the inventions that are widely utilized now all over the world. Who do not know Bill Gates? Well I guess all of us know who he really is but let me give brief information about him for those who just know him by name. Bill Gates is the head of the software company Microsoft and is one of the world's wealthiest men. Together with Paul Allen they founded Microsoft in the 1970s, though Allen left the company in 1983. Gates oversaw the invention and marketing of the MS-DOS operating system, the Windows operating interface, the Internet Explorer browser, and a multitude of other popular computer products. Along the way he gained a reputation for fierce competitiveness and aggressive business savvy and had been famous on the whole wide world for his biggest contribution on technology. During the 1990s rising Microsoft stock prices made Gates the world's wealthiest man; his wealth has at times exceeded $75 billion, making Gates a popular symbol of the ascendant computer geek of the late 20th century. In June of 2006, Gates announced that he would step down from day-to-day involvement in Microsoft by July of 2008. He said he would then remain chairman of the Microsoft board while focusing on his charitable foundation, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Speaking of Bill Gates and Microsoft, we all know that Microsoft and Gates is the biggest contributor on the rapid development of technology. Starting 2001 Stevie Bathiche of Microsoft Hardware and Andy Wilson of Microsoft Research formulated ideas and conceptualized an interactive table wherein they can mix the physical and virtual worlds that will surely bring an exciting interactive experience.

3 Column Minima Templates for blogger part 2

Now let's get started this will be the part 2 of my post on how to edit your template If you read my first post on how to add another "Sidebar" on the left of the post or probably you know it as a " 3 column template " this post is the continuation of the tutorial, but if you don't see my first tutorial yet here is the link on my first post 3 column minima template, This continuation is all about editing your " Page element ", Now saying that you already follow the instruction and already have a " left sidebar " the picture will look like this on your " Page element " .

But if you already have a 3 column template that you downloaded in different site and it doesn't look like that when you go to " Page element " that's fine you could still use this tutorial on how to add another " Add a Page Element " on your page element section, just scroll down to Adding Add a Page Element. Now back to our tutorial first let's fix the expanded view of the layout and also remove the scroll section on the bottom of the editor. Go to " Edit HTML " again, and remember to save a copy of your template on your computer, always do that if you want to edit something on your HTML so that if something goes wrong you can just upload it back. just click on the " Download Full Template ". see picture below for sample.

Copy the blue highlighted color and paste it after " margin-right: 0px;} " then save it. If you copy it right and paste it correctly you'll see the picture like this on your Page element.

Adding " Add a Page Element ".

Now let's add a Page element above the " Header " putting a page element above the header will help you a lot if you want to put a link to your home page or another blog link like gallery, downloads, movie etc. any link you want to put. Or adding a Google AdSense image above the header will increase the chance of clicking the AdSense. Go to Edit HTML and scroll down or press " Ctrl+F " then search for the HTML code like this.

3 Column Minima Templates for blogger.

As a new blogger we always wanted to improve our site and to make our readers more interested, convenient and comfortable in reading the blogs. Below I will give you some techniques on how you can improve your site or your blogger. Just read it with comprehension and pay more attention to it. And you will definitely learn and use all the techniques written below, that will somehow help you in improving your blog. But if you don't want to go on to this tutorial, just want the 3 column minima template there's the easy way on doing it just download the 3 column minima templates that i made there are 4 colors to select just right click on the title and then save.

First let us see the picture below, as you can see in the picture you can notice that it is the normal template for blogger blog which you can probably find in Pick New Templates.you could pick any color you want, There are four type of colors in Minima templates and you could easily change the color of your background and fonts in "Fonts and Colors"section.

I use the Minima white template for my sample. See picture below, you can see a circle which I place around the the side bar on the right and the post on the left, That's the normal template it doesn't have any side bar on the left, Now let us try to do it a little more interesting let's put another side bar on the left, as a 3 column template and stretch it or Expand the wrapper the header just follow the instruction below...

Ok first pick any type of color on minima template then click save when your done, go to "Edit HTML"you'll see it after the Fonts and colors or before Pick new template. but if you already have the minima template and just want to expand your template or just want to put side bar on the left you could also use this tutorial. Now before you edit your template always save a backup of your template in your computer so if something goes wrong you could just upload it back when you need too, Click on "Download full template" then save it. see the picture sample below.

Adding a New Sidebar

Now let's start putting another side bar first you need to scroll down and search for the highlighted text.
"TIP" the easy way to search for HTML or words just " hold Ctrl and press F " you will see a box like this...

If your using "Mozilla Firefox" the box is on the bottom of the page shown like this..

If you go on to this tutorial you will notice that i put a highlighted color on the text so that you will recognize which one will you copy, paste and replace just follow the three steps.

Understanding on what your doing can make your job easier in template there are 3 basic wrapper namely is the...

"#outer-wrapper" – referring to the entire blog

"#main-wrapper" – referring to the main Blog Posts

"#sidebar-wrapper" – referring to the right sidebar.

Putting the left Sidebar.

Scroll down and search for “ #sidebar-wrapper ” Copy the blue highlighted HTML code and paste it immediately after it, but don't forget to rename the second one. Replace the yellow highlighted color to " #leftsidebar-wrapper { " also the " right " to " left " as shown below.

Editing and Expanding wrapper

After that adjust the width settings of all the wrappers.

For the outer-wrapper 960px, for main-wrapper 470px.
You can of course change these values, as long as the total widths of both sidebar-wrappers and the main-wrapper do not exceed the width of the outer-wrapper.

Now put a margin on the left of the " main-wrapper " to allow some space to the leftsidebar put this HTML code " margin-left: 25px; " below of " width: 470px; ", it shown like this...

Adjust the width of "Header" and "Footer".

Now you have to widen your " header-wrapper " and your " footer " to align it to your layout. the normal side of the header and the footer is " 660 " for my sample it is 960, but if you want to change these value that's fine if you want a smaller header-wrapper and footer or bigger it's ok. scroll down and find this...

Where to place the New Sidebar

When your done, scroll down again and search for this HTML code, " <div id='main-wrapper'> " you have to add the highlighted green color above this code <div id='main-wrapper'> if you put it right it will probably show on the leftsidebar, but if you want your post to be on the left and the two sidebar on the right do the sample below also...

Murata Boy Robot

Last October of 2005 One of the many interesting displays at CEATAC was the Murata Boy Robot they call it the bicycling robot, Better look at this robot and be amazed on what he can actually do on his bike, that average people can’t hardly do. It could actually ride a bicycle and balance its body on the bike without any support, just the two wheels of the bike, isn’t amazing he don’t need to practice at all and spend so many days and suffer from falling like an average human can do, see how technology can do? How can Murata Boy balance on the bike and not falling? Because it has Angle detection, they call it "Gyro sensor" it detects the slant angle during the run and the bicycle is steered using the signal sent from the gyro sensor. By arbitrarily controlling the rotation of flywheel inside torso, it maintains balance without falling when running and stopping. That's not all it certainly packs in the functionality, being capable of speeds up to 60cm/sec or 2 km/hour standing upright without falling, obstacle detection, running backwards, running a predetermined course while monitoring his position, receiving instructions wirelessly and capturing and sending images to its PC master wirelessly, Murata Boy was built entirely with standard Murata products such as gyroscopic, ultrasonic, and shock sensors and motion control, battery, imaging, and communication modules and not knowing that it is just a small robot but it almost got every thing it needs.

Have you ever thought of the people who have imaginary friends? I’m pretty sure that somehow it scares you a lot. But what if you have a friend not knowing that he/she is not a human, and then eventually you found out? Well, what do I mean then? Have you ever heard of Actroid DER2 fembot? Well, I’ve watched the video of it a couple of days ago at first I was amazed because it really looks like a real female human it is almost perfect, sexy body, pretty face, flawless skin, long legs. It talks and it moves like a real human and if you do not know that it is a robot you might think it is a real woman.

Japan was indeed, brilliant in inventing something and has a high knowledge about technology, and I admired Japan for that. The country really has a big impact to the World’s technology. But you know what? As I continue watching the video a part of me was so freaked out, yes it is a brilliant invention and discovery. But what if it is really widely used in the world? Imagine this; this so called robot will be used to work as a receptionist, instead of a real female human. A sales lady, business woman, dentist, doctor and so many more will be a robot instead of a human. It is really freaky right?

These robots will be a big help for some people and employer. Why? If the business minded people will purchase this robots for their business. They will have an employee without pay or salary every month, and it will only do whatever you told them to do and no mistakes will be committed. But what about the people who wanted to work and who are to be replaced by this robot, how will they earned money? What will be the status of their living? Imagine the world with robots around you, numerous numbers of them, it is really scary right?
Sometimes the knowledge and intelligence of the people will be a threat for the downfall of man. As with my question above, what if you have a friend that is a robot? What will you feel? A robot that cannot sympathize you whenever you have a problem, a robot without feelings,and can only give a concrete solution based on its knowledge to your problems, not on its feelings and experiences. At first people will be amazed when they watched this video but come to think of its consequences when it is widely introduced to the world. I post some video of the Actroid DER2 fembot? When you purchase a cell phone, the company that sold you the phone for example Cingular or AT&T they locked the phone before you bought it, so you can only use your cell phone on their network. That mines what ever you do, you cannot use your phone on any other network, even if you change the SIM card. The SIM card is the little piece of plastic that identifies your phone to your network. Unlocking your phone and changing your SIM card and have your phone work on another network is useful especially if you want to travel to another country and just buy a pre-paid SIM card so you can have cell phone access that country using your phone without roaming charges. There are services in the Internet that offers unlocking capabilities for a fee. Simple tips on How to unlock your cell phone using the software

Find the Serial number of the cell phone, also known as your IMEI number. This can be done by either removing the back of your cell phone and looking underneath the battery, or simply by typing in *#06# into your cell phone. It should look something like this 065122007542095 write your IMEI number on the paper. Using the software you have downloaded, enter in your Manufacturer for example "Nokia" the model number of the cell phone, this may be different depending on which software you are using. If your phone is the Nokia 3390 phone, select the model 3310, they are the same phone, Enter your IMEI number. Enter your country and your Network. Then calculate the code, You will get a list of 7 groups of codes that look something like:

Turn off your cell phone and remove the SIM card from your phone. This is typically done by removing the back cover of the phone and removing the battery and sliding the card out. Put the battery back and turn your cellphone on. You should see a message "Insert SIM Card". Enter all of the characters you see in your code, including the # symbols. To get a 'p' press * 3 times, to get a '+' press the * key 2 times, to get a 'w' press the * key 4 times. Disregard any spaces in the code. In order to unlock your phone you generally need to enter only one code. Start with the first one. If your phone is not unlocked by typing the first code (MCC+MNC), use code "7" Multilock Once you have finished entering a code that works you should see a message that says "SIM is not restricted" or "Restriction off" message depending on your model. If not, try entering another code. Message "Cannot undo restrictions" means the phone is hard-locked and cannot be unlock.

The robot, called QRIO short for Quest for Curiosity Sony QRIO is 58 centimeters tall and weighing seven kilograms, QRIO has big blue eyes and is covered in gleaming magnesium alloy. It may look like a toy, but its small body is packed with technology.

Sony QRIO can walk, climb up in the stairs and come down, and did you know that QRIO is a great dancer! Its cameras, sensors, and computer software also allow it to avoid obstacles, It can also remember names and faces, keep up a conversation, best of all it can sing better than Me, QRIO can sing vibrato voice.

Simple human actions are very difficult to reproduce in a robot. Getting a robot to walk was one of the first and biggest challenges for robot scientists. Like Honda Asimo they have alot of fixing error to do before the robots can walk probably that's the biggest challenges they have to face,. Walking is a delicate balancing act in which the body's center of gravity is constantly shifting as each foot is placed forward.Engineers solved the problem of getting a robot to walk using the Zero Moment Point rule. Sole sensors and positioning sensors fitted to the robot are used to calculate stable points of contact with the ground.

But that is the easiest part, How about running?
Now imagine running. When we run, there are times when both our feet are in the air. But having both feet in the air makes it impossible for a robot to gather data from the sensors on the soles of its feet, as it would if it was walking. Sony engineers overcame this challenge by developing new motion control mechanisms and improving the CPU (Central Processing Unit) of the robot's computer.

In 1986, Honda engineers set out to create a walking robot. Early models (E1, E2, E3) focused on developing legs that could simulate the walk of a human. The next series of models (E4, E5, E6) were focused on walk stabilization and stair climbing. Next, a head, body and arms were added to the robot to improve balance and add functionality. Honda’s first humanoid robot, P1 was rather rugged at 6’ 2” tall, and 386 lbs. P2 improved with a more friendly design, improved walking, stair climbing/descending, and wireless automatic movements. The P3 model was even more compact, standing 5’ 2” tall and weighing 287 lbs.

The development of the car began with the 1999 EB 18/4 "Veyron" concept car. Introduced at the Tokyo Motor Show,. it was similar in design and appearance to the final Veyron production car. One major difference was the EB 18/4's use of a W18 engine with three banks of six cylinders. The Veyron was designed by Hartmut Warkuss of Volkswagen rather than Giorgetto Giugiaro of ItalDesign who had handled the three prior Bugatti concepts. VW chairman Ferdinand announced the production Veyron at the 2001 Geneva Motor Show. It was promised to be the fastest, most powerful, and most expensive car in history. Instead of the W18, the production model would use a VR6/WR8-style W16 engine. First seen in the 1999 Bentley Hunaudières concept car, the W16 would get four turbochargers, producing a quoted 1001 horsepower. Top speed was promised at 403 km/h (250.4 mph), and pricing was announced at $1.3 million at the time. Development continued throughout 2001 and the EB 16/4 Veyron was promoted to "advanced concept" status. In late 2001, Bugatti announced that the car, officially called the Bugatti Veyron 16.4, would go into production in 2003. However, the car experienced significant problems during development. Achieving the required high-speed stability was difficult - one prototype was destroyed in a crash and another spun out during a public demonstration at the Monterey Historics event in Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca. Production of the Veyron was delayed pending resolution of these and other issues. Substantial modifications were made to the Veyron.

According to Volkswagen, the final production Veyron engine produces between 1020 and 1040 metric hp (1006 to 1026 SAE net hp), so the car will be advertised as producing "1001 horsepower" in both the US and European markets. This makes it the most powerful production road-car engine in history. Torque is 1250 N·m (922 ft·lbf). Top speed was initially promised to be 252 mph (406 km/h), but test versions were unstable at that speed, forcing a redesign of the aerodynamics. In May 2005, a prototype Veyron tested at a Volkswagen track near Wolfsburg, Germany, and recorded an electronically limited top speed of 400 km/h (249 mph). In October, 2005, Car and Driver magazine's editor Csaba Csere test drove the final production version of the Veyron for the November 2005 issue. This test, at Volkswagen's Ehra-Lessien test track, reached a top speed of 253 mph (407 km/h). The Veyron is the quickest production car to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) with an estimated time of 2.5 seconds. It also reaches 200 and 300 km/h (124 and 186 mph) in 7.3 and 16.7 seconds respectively. This makes the Veyron the quickest-accelerating production car in history. It also consumes more fuel than any other production car, using 40.4 L/100 km (4.82 mpg) in city driving and 24.1 L/100 km (10 mpg) in combined cycle. At full-throttle, it uses more than 125 L/100 km (2.1 mpg)—at full throttle, the Veyron would empty its 100 L fuel tank in just 12.5 minutes. The car's everyday top speed is listed at 234 mph (377 km/h). When the car reaches 137 mph (220 km/h), hydraulics lower the car until it has a ground clearance of about 3 1/2 inches (8.9 cm). At the same time, the wing and spoiler deploy. This is the "handling" mode, in which the wing helps provide 770 pounds (3425 newtons) of downforce, holding the car to the road. The driver must, using the key, toggle the lock to the left of his seat in order to use the maximum speed of 253 miles per hour (407 km/h). Theoretically it can go faster but it is electronically limited to 253 miles per hour (407 km/h) to prevent tire damage. The key functions only when the vehicle is at a stop when a checklist then establishes whether the car—and its driver—are ready to enable 'top speed' mode. If all systems are go, the rear spoiler retracts, the front air diffusers close and the ground clearance, normally 4.9 inches (12.4 cm), drops to 2.6 inches (6.6 cm). The Veyron uses unique cross-drilled and turbine vented carbon rotors for braking that draw in cooling air. Each caliper has eight titanium pistons. Bugatti claims maximum deceleration of 1.3 g on road tires. Prototypes have been subjected to repeated 1.0 g braking from 194 to 50 mph (312 to 80 km/h) without fade. With the car's fearsome acceleration from 50 to 194 mph (80 to 312 km/h), that test can be performed every 22 seconds. At speeds above 124 mph (200 km/h), the rear wing also acts as an airbrake, snapping to a 70-degree angle in 0.4 seconds once brakes are applied, providing up to 0.6 g (6 m/s²) of deceleration. Bugatti claims the Veyron will brake from 252 mph (406 km/h) to a standstill in less than 10 seconds. The braking is also so evenly applied that the car will not deviate from a straight path if the driver lets go of the steering wheel, even with the brakes fully applied starting from close to top speed.
