Tanning tips

Here are some tips
If you are new to tanning, take it easy only do 5-7 in regular if you burn easily, if not maybe go for 7-10 in regular
-Exfoliate before you go-shower-lotion and then apply your tanning lotion
If you are experienced tanner don't forget to exfoliate, switch it up! Don't just do regular all the time, try 3x the intensity (but again, if you burn easily then just stick to regular or you can try 3x the intensity but in the minimal amount. If you feel like you are burning don't hesitate to stop your tanning session.

If you are using a self tanner or a tanning lotion that leaves some streaks don't panic. Mix a little bit of water with lemon juice and get rid of the stains. But next time make sure you rub it all in well!

Update/Review for "Smoke" Tanning lotion

I purchased Smoke tanning lotion not to long ago and as promised here is an update on it.

I am finally seeing a difference in my tans. I do switch up my tanning routine though, so it could be the different beds plus the lotion that is making the difference. This tanning lotion is white in color but don't let it fool you. I noticed results second time I went and at that time I was just doing 15 minutes in regular bed. If you do not rub it in well you may see some streaking marks but those can be removed with a little bit of water mixed with lemon juice.This lotion smells pretty good too.Depending where you get it, it runs from $40-90.Overall,I am happy with it. It is giving me the results I wanted, it smells good, it is decent price (again depending where you get it it runs about the same as other good lotions).

So next time u guys go tanning don't forget to shower before you go, and then apply the lotion. This way the color will last longer, but if you shower right after your tanning session the color will fade. Don't forget to switch up your routine. Try to go every other day or at 2x a week depending on your color and switch up the tanning beds.

It's finally here! I ordered this tanning lotion last month and it's finally here! I used up all of my tanning lotions so I needed a new one. I had a little bit left of my Bohemia by Designer Skin left that I had been using. I started going to Dark Side and one of the girls who works there wanted to make sure I had lotion so she took a look at it and was asking me bunch of questions then she asked me if it expired and I said I didn't think so because I bought it not that long ago but it was on special. So she asked if she could remove the sticker tag and what do you know? It was expired. So always double check! It was not runny or anything so I didn't think it was. It's pretty clever how they covered it up with sticker tags. One was the "original" price and the other sticker was the "clearance" price. So always always double check!
I am eager to try my new lotion because I have been going to that same salon for about 2 months now and I have not really seen any results. Now this could be due to my lotion and their bulbs. They say they got the new bulbs and yeah, you can tell it gets a lot hotter but I do not really see results.They also try to restrict me on the amount I can go in. I got a membership and they have been telling me I could only go for 10 minutes. I could understand if I were so pale but I still have a little bit of color left from the summer and I do not burn. My melada friend also went with me and they tried to tell her she could only go for 15 meanwhile she was the darkest person at the salon.
I will give this lotion a try and hopefully I will notice some difference. If not maybe it's their bulbs. I know there are some places that no matter what lotion I use I rarely see a difference. So I know it is their bulbs and lack of people going there because beds are always so cold and it takes 10 minutes for it to warm up.
What tanning lotions do u use? I really need a good one. I know designer skin carries some good ones. Did anyone try their BLACK TANNING BED LOTION 20X SILICONE BRONZER? I heard some good things about that one too.

Hello everyone!
For some this might seem like an old post or something I should've posted earlier, but I've been busy and at the same time I celebrate 2 Christmas' so this is a good timing for me to put some of the presents I got for the Christmas that just passed. I also celebrate Christmas on Jan 7 (since we also follow the old Gregorian Calendar).

I'm going to start off with a small gift kids and I made for their parents:
I had children pick from red,gold, and silver ornaments. Then I painted their 3 fingers with paint and placed the ornament in their palm. I told them to now close their fist and "hug" the ornament. This left 3 finger marks on the ornaments (soon to be snowmen). Then they put their name and decorated the snowman ornament. They really enjoyed this and parents like the little gifts :)

First off, I wanted to apologize for lack of updates. I've been super busy. I've been working and going to school so it its been hard for me to keep up with everything and on top of that it's that time of the year! You know ..exam time and all!

I have my first exam this Friday, so I'll have to find time to study because I'll be working 8-6. I'll try to update as much as I can and I still have to post another part of my shopping haul. I will be posting that very soon.

Oh and on top of all that my arthritis is getting way worse so my whole hand gets swollen and it is hard for me to write/type sometimes, or even do smallest things like open the doorknob or even open a water bottle :(

But on the positive side..exams will be done soon and Christmas is coming!!
Hope everyone had a great weekend...I'll be updating again soon..probably small quick updates today/tomorrow until I get more time to write reviews.
