Google has had several logos since it changed its name from BackRub. The first logo was designed by Sergey Brin using GIMP software. The Google logo was heavily revised on September 1, 2015. The Google logo was previously designed by Ruth Kedar in the form of the Catull type, an old-style serif character created by Gustav Jaeger for the Berthold Type Foundry in 1982. The company also released various versions of its logo in the framework of the day highways, birthdays of famous personalities, and major events such as the Olympics. These special logos are known as Google Doodle, and some of them were designed by Dennis Hwang. In 1998, Sergey Brin wrote Google using a free graphics program called GIMP. The appearance of the letters was changed and an exclamation mark was added to make it look like the Yahoo! Logo. "There are many color choices," said Ruth Kedar, graphic designer who designed the Google logo. "We chose the base color, but instead of sorting the color pattern, we gave a secondary color to the letter L, creating the impression that Google was reluctant to follow the rules."

In 2010, the Google logo underwent its first major change since May 31, 1999. This new logo was introduced on November 8, 2009 and was officially launched on May 6, 2010. The logo uses the appearance of letters that are identical to the previous logo, but the "o" more orange than the previous yellow "o", accompanied by a variety of subtle shadow styles. On September 19, 2013, Google introduced a "flat" (two-dimensional) logo with a slightly altered coloring. On May 24, 2014, the Google logo was updated. The second "g" is moved right by one pixel and the letter "l" is moved down and right by one pixel. The 2010 Google logo is still used on several pages, one of which is Google Doodles. On September 1, 2015, Google introduced a "new logo and identity family" designed for all devices.

The first Google Doodle was presented to the 1998 Burning Man Festival. The logo was designed by Larry Page and Sergey Brin to notify users that they are not in the office if their server suddenly dies. Google Doodle was subsequently designed by outside contractors until Larry and Sergey hired apprentice employee Dennis Hwang to design the logo of the Bastille Day edition in 2000. Since then, Hwang has been tasked with designing Google Doodle. Sometimes Google displays a plain logo on the local main page to commemorate a major tragedy, usually for several days. This plain design was first used on the main page of Google Poland after the plane crash that killed Polish President Lech Kaczyński in April 2010. A few days later, this logo was used on Google China and Hong Kong to commemorate the victims of the Qinghai earthquake. On September 8, 2010, this plain logo was replaced with a gray Google logo which started to show color after six letters were entered into the search box. This logo is named the Keystroke Logo.

Google Search, also referred to as Google Web Search or simply Google, is a web search engine developed and owned by Google Inc. It is the most widely used search engine on the World Wide Web across all platforms, with 92.62% market share as of June 2019, handling more than 5.4 billion searches each day through a variety of services provided. Google is widely known for its web search services, which is a big factor in the company's success. In August 2007, Google was the most used search engine on the web with a market share of 53.6%, then Yahoo! (19.9%) and Live Search (12.9%). Google has billions of web pages, so users can find the information they want, through the use of keywords and operators. Google has also used Web Search technology in other search services, including, Image Search, Google News, the price comparison site Google Product Search, the interactive Usenet archive Google Groups, Google Maps and others.

The order of search results returned by Google is based, in part, on a priority rank system called "PageRank". Google Search also provides many different options for customized search, using symbols to include, exclude, specify or require certain search behavior, and offers specialized interactive experiences, such as flight status and package tracking, weather forecasts, currency, unit, and time conversions, word definitions, and more. Google Search provides many custom search options with Boolean operators such as: exceptions ("-xx"), alternatives ("xx OR yy"), and wild cards ("x * x").

The main purpose of Google Search is to search for text in publicly accessible documents offered by web servers (in HTML, PDF, etc.), as opposed to other data, such as images or data contained in databases that can be searched using services such as Google Image Search. Google Search was originally developed in 1997 by Larry Page, Sergey Brin, and Scott Hassan. Google Search provides at least 22 special features besides word search, namely synonyms, weather forecasts, time zones, stock movements, maps, earthquake data, cinema schedules, airports, home listings , and sports scores. There are also special features for dating, including a range of numbers (70..73), price, temperature, currency conversion ("10.5 cm in inches"), calculations ("3 * 4 + sqrt (6) -pi / 2") , package tracking, patents, area codes, and language translation. In June 2011, Google introduced "Google Voice Search" and "Search by Image" which allow users to search for things with voice spoken, rather than typed, words and image commands to search for. In May 2012, Google introduced a Knowledge Graph semantic search feature in the U.S.

Analysis of the frequency of search terms may indicate economic, social and health trends. Data about the frequency of use of search terms on Google can be openly inquired via Google Trends, Google Adwords and Google Insights for Search have been shown to correlate with flu outbreaks and unemployment levels, and provide the information faster than traditional reporting methods and surveys. As of mid-2016, Google's search engine has begun to rely on deep neural networks.

Competitors of Google include Baidu and Soso.com in China; Naver.com and Daum.net in South Korea; Yandex in Russia; Seznam.cz in the Czech Republic; Qwant in France; Yahoo in Japan, Taiwan and the US, as well as Bing and DuckDuckGo. Some smaller search engines offer facilities not available with Google, e.g. not storing any private or tracking information. Within the U.S., as of July 2018, Bing handled 24.2 percent of all search queries. During the same period, Oath (formerly known as Yahoo) had a search market share of 11.5 percent. Market leader Google generated 63.2 percent of all core search queries in the U.S.

Safari is a graphical web browser made by Apple Inc. based on the Webkit engine which was originally intended specifically for the Mac OS operating system. Safari was first released on the desktop in 2003 with Mac OS X Panther installed and is the default web browser on the operating system since Mac OS X v10.3. The mobile version has been bundled with iOS devices since the iPhone was introduced in 2007. Safari is a browser default on Apple devices. Previously from 1997 to 2003, Mac OS X used Internet Explorer for Mac as the default web browser. From June 11, 2007, to 2012, preview versions of Windows suitable for Windows XP and Windows Vista from Safari were introduced at Apple's World Developer Conference in San Francisco.

Until 1997, Apple Macintosh computers had shipped only with Netscape Navigator and Cyberdog. Internet Explorer for Mac and Mac OS 8.1 has only recently been used as the default web for Mac OS 8.1 as part of a five-year agreement between Apple and Microsoft. However, Netscape Navigator continues to be included. During that time, Microsoft released three major versions of Internet Explorer for Mac along with Mac OS 8 and Mac OS 9, although Apple continued to include Netscape Navigator as an alternative. After that, Microsoft released Mac OS X edition of Internet Explorer 5, which was included as the default web browser on all Mac OS X released from Mac OS X DP4 to Mac OS X v10.2.

On January 7, 2003, Steve Jobs announced that Apple had developed its own web browser based on the KHTML browser engine called Safari. They released the first beta version that day and several other beta versions followed up to version 1.0 which was released on June 23, 2003. Initially available as an application that was downloaded separately and then combined with Mac OS X v10.3 when released on October 24, 2003, as default web and Internet Explorer for Mac are only included as alternatives. Since the release of Mac OS X v10.4 on April 29, 2005, Safari has been the only web browser included in the operating system.

After receiving some criticism from KTHML developers in June 2005 about the lack of access to change logs, Apple changed the development of source code and interference tracking from WebCore and JavaScriptCore to OpenDarwin.org. Webkit itself is also made as a general reference. The secret code for non-renderer aspects of the browser, such as GUI elements, remains the property of the company. Version 2.0 of Safari was released on April 29, 2005, and only runs Mac OS X 10.4.x (Tiger) or earlier versions. This version is interesting because it has 1.8 times the speed compared to version 1.2.4. In April 2005, Dave Hyatt, one of Safari's developers at Apple, documented his progress in fixing bugs in Safari to pass the Acid2 test. On April 27, 2005, he announced that his Safari development had passed a test which made it the first web browser to do so. At first, the changes are not available to end-users unless they download and complete their WebKit source or use one of the applications on opendarwin.org. However, on October 31, 2005, Apple released version 2.0.1 Safari which included Acid2 which was fixed. On January 9, 2007, Job formally announced that the Apple iPhone uses the Safari browser that uses the JavaScript engine (Nitro) feature as a desktop part only on the iPhone 3.0.

Safari Technology Preview was first released alongside OS X El Capitan 10.11.4. Safari Technology Preview releases include the latest version of WebKit, incorporating Web technologies to be incorporated in future stable releases of Safari so that developers and users can install the Technology Preview release on a Mac, test those features, and provide feedback. On macOS, Safari is a Cocoa application. It uses Apple's WebKit for rendering web pages and running JavaScript. WebKit consists of WebCore (based on Konqueror's KHTML engine) and JavaScriptCore (originally based on KDE's JavaScript engine, named KJS). Like KHTML and KJS, WebCore and JavaScriptCore are free software and are released under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License. Some Apple improvements to the KHTML code are merged back into the Konqueror project. Apple also releases additional code under an open-source 2-clause BSD-like license.

Until Safari 6.0, it included a built-in web feed aggregator that supported the RSS and Atom standards. Current features include Private Browsing (a mode in which no record of information about the user's web activity is retained by the browser), an "Ask websites not to track me" privacy setting, the ability to archive web content in WebArchive format, the ability to email complete web pages directly from a browser menu, the ability to search bookmarks, and the ability to share tabs between all Mac and iOS devices running appropriate versions of software via an iCloud account.

iOS-specific features for Safari enable:
1. Bookmarking links to particular pages as "Web Clip" icons on the Home screen.
2. MDI-style browsing.
3. Opening specially designed pages in full-screen mode.
4. Pressing on an image for 3 seconds to save it to the photo album.
5. Support for HTML5 new input types.

WebKit2 has a multiprocess API for WebKit, where the web-content is handled by a separate process than the application using WebKit. Apple announced WebKit2 in April 2010. Safari for OS X switched to the new API with version 5.1. Safari for iOS switched to WebKit2 with iOS 8.

Safari 6.0 requires a Mac running Mac OS X v10.7.4 or later. Safari 5.1.7 requires a Mac running Mac OS X v10.6.8 or any PC running Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later, Windows Vista, or Windows 7. Safari 5.0.6 requires a Mac running on Mac OS X 10.5.8.

The version of Safari included in Mac OS X v10.6 (and later versions) is compiled for 64-bit architecture. Apple claims that running Safari in 64-bit mode will increase rendering speeds by up to 50%. On 64-bit devices, iOS and its stock apps are 64-bit builds including Safari.

Opera is a web browser and inter-platform software package for Microsoft Windows, Android, iOS, macOS, and Linux operating systems, developed by Opera Software. Opera consists of a collection of software for the Internet such as web browsers, as well as software for reading and buying electronic mail.

Opera is a Chromium-based browser using the Blink layout engine. This distinguishes itself because of the different user interfaces and other features. Opera is known for having many features which were later adopted by other web browsers. Although it has many advantages, Opera only gets a small portion of the personal computer browser market worldwide. However, Opera has a larger market on mobile devices such as cellphones, smartphones, and personal digital assistants. Various editions of Opera can be used for devices using Maemo, BlackBerry, Symbian, Windows Mobile, Android, and iPhone operating systems, as well as Java ME. Around 120 million cellphones have been marketed with the Opera browser they have.

Opera is the only commercial web browser available for Nintendo DS and Wii. Some televisions have Opera browsers in set-top boxes or boxes that fulfill them. Adobe Systems has licensed Opera technology for use in Adobe Creative Suite. There are also three cellular versions called Opera Mobile, Opera Touch, and Opera Mini.

Opera Software is a Norwegian software company which is listed on the NASDAQ public stock exchange, with share ownership and control of Chinese businessman Zhou Yahui, founder of Beijing Kunlun Tech related to mobile applications and cybersecurity. Qihoo 360 specialist.

Opera was conceived on Telenor as a research project in 1994 and was purchased by Opera Software in 1995. It was commercial software for the first ten years and had its own Presto layout engine. Google Chrome (commonly known as Chrome) is a cross-platform web browser developed by Google using the WebKit rendering engine. It was first released in 2008 for Microsoft Windows and then transported to Linux, macOS, iOS, and Android. The browser is also a major component of Chrome OS, where it serves as a platform for web applications.

Most of Chrome's source code comes from Google's open-source Chromium project, but Chrome is licensed as an exclusive freeware. WebKit is an original rendering engine, but Google finally cut it to make Blink machines, all Chrome variants except iOS now use Blink.

As of February 2019, StatCounter estimates that Chrome has a 62% browser market share worldwide on all platforms. Because of this success, Google has expanded the brand name "Chrome" to other products: Chrome OS, Chromecast, Chromebook, Chromebit, Chromebox, and Chromebase. The beta version for Microsoft Windows was launched on September 2, 2008, in 43 languages. Mac OS X and Linux versions have been released.

Google Chrome was first released by Google on September 2, 2008, which is only for Microsoft Windows because it is still in beta. Then on December 11 of the same year, Google Chrome was launched for all operating systems because it had reached a stable version.

In January 2012, Google Chrome is estimated to have won a percentage of 25-28% of all world browser users, making the second browser or also the most widely used after Mozilla Firefox, according to the source.

Google CEO Eric Schmidt opposed the development of an independent web browser for six years. He stated that "at that time, Google was a small company", and he did not want to go through a "bruising browser war". Feature: Google Chrome displays a minimalist user interface, with user interface principles which are then implemented into other browsers. For example, merging the address bar and search bar into Omnibox. Chrome also has a reputation for strong browser performance.

Windows Internet Explorer (formerly Microsoft Internet Explorer, commonly abbreviated IE or MSIE) is a series of graphical web browsers developed by Microsoft and included as part of the Microsoft Windows line of operating systems, starting in 1995. It was first released as part of the add-on package Plus! for Windows 95 that year. Later versions were available as free downloads, or in service packs, and included in the OEM service releases of Windows 95 and later versions of Windows.

Internet Explorer is the second most widely used web browser, behind Google Chrome, which surpassed it in May 2012, attaining a peak of about 95% usage share during 2002 and 2003 with Internet Explorer 5 and Internet Explorer 6. Since its peak of popularity, its usage share has been declining in the face of renewed competition from other web browsers, and is 34.27% as of January 2012. It had been slightly higher, 43.55% as of February 2011, just prior to the release of the current version. Microsoft spent over US$100 million per year on Internet Explorer in the late 1990s, with over 1000 people working on it by 1999.

Since its first release, Microsoft has added features and technologies such as basic table display (in version 1.5); XMLHttpRequest (in version 5), which aids creation of dynamic web pages; and Internationalized Domain Names (in version 7), which allow Web sites to have native-language addresses with non-Latin characters. The browser has also received scrutiny throughout its development for use of third-party technology (such as the source code of Spyglass Mosaic, used without royalty in early versions) and security and privacy vulnerabilities, and both the United States and the European Union have alleged that integration of Internet Explorer with Windows has been to the detriment of other browsers.

The latest stable release is Internet Explorer 9, which is available as a free update for Windows 7, Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2008 R2. Internet Explorer was to be omitted from Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 in Europe, but Microsoft ultimately included it, with a browser option screen allowing users to select any of several web browsers (including Internet Explorer).

Versions of Internet Explorer for other operating systems have also been produced, including an embedded OEM version called Pocket Internet Explorer, later rebranded Internet Explorer Mobile, which is currently based on Internet Explorer 9 and made for Windows Phone, Windows CE, and previously, based on Internet Explorer 7 for Windows Mobile. It remains in development alongside the desktop versions. Internet Explorer for Mac and Internet Explorer for UNIX (Solaris and HP-UX) have been discontinued.

Internet Explorer has been designed to view a broad range of web pages and provide certain features within the operating system, including Microsoft Update. During the heyday of the browser wars, Internet Explorer superseded Netscape only when it caught up technologically to support the progressive features of the time.

Internet Explorer, using the Trident layout engine:

Supports HTML 4.01, CSS Level 1, XML 1.0, and DOM Level 1, with minor implementation gaps.

Fully supports XSLT 1.0 as well as an obsolete Microsoft dialect of XSLT often referred to as WD-xsl, which was loosely based on the December 1998 W3C Working Draft of XSL. Support for XSLT 2.0 lies in the future: semi-official Microsoft bloggers have indicated that development is underway, but no dates have been announced.

Almost full conformance to CSS 2.1 has been added in the Internet Explorer 8 release. The trident rendering engine in Internet Explorer 9 in 2011 scores highest in the official W3C conformance test suite for CSS 2.1 of all major browsers.

Supports XHTML in Internet Explorer 9 (Trident version 5.0). Prior versions can render XHTML documents authored with HTML compatibility principles and served with a text/html MIME-type.

Supports a subset of SVG in Internet Explorer 9 (Trident version 5.0), excluding SMIL, SVG fonts and filters.

Internet Explorer uses DOCTYPE sniffing to choose between standards mode and a "quirks mode" in which it deliberately mimicks nonstandard behaviours of old versions of MSIE for HTML and CSS rendering on screen (Internet Explorer always uses standards mode for printing). It also provides its own dialect of ECMAScript called JScript. Internet Explorer had been subjected to criticism by W3C over its limited support for SVG promoted by W3C.

Internet Explorer has introduced an array of proprietary extensions to many of the standards, including HTML, CSS, and the DOM. This has resulted in a number of web pages that appear broken in standards-compliant web browsers and has introduced the need for a "quirks mode" to allow for rendering improper elements meant for Internet Explorer in these other browsers.

Internet Explorer has introduced a number of extensions to the DOM that have been adopted by other browsers. These include the innerHTML property, which provides access to the HTML string within an element ; the XMLHttpRequest object, which allows the sending of HTTP request and receiving of HTTP response, and is essential to the AJAX web programming technique ; and the designMode attribute of the contentDocument object, which enables rich text editing of HTML documents . Some of these functionalities were not possible until the introduction of the W3C DOM methods. Its Ruby character extension to HTML is also accepted as a module in W3C XHTML 1.1, though it is not found in all versions of W3C HTML.

Microsoft submitted several other features of IE for consideration by the W3C for standardization. These include the 'behaviour' CSS property, which connects the HTML elements with JScript behaviours (known as HTML Components, HTC); HTML+TIME profile, which adds timing and media synchronization support to HTML documents (similar to the W3C XHTML+SMIL), and the VML vector graphics file format. However, all were rejected, at least in their original forms; VML was subsequently combined with PGML (proposed by Adobe and Sun), resulting in the W3C-approved SVG format, currently one of the few vector image formats being used on the web, but which IE did not support until version 9.

Other non-standard behaviours include: support for vertical text, but in a syntax different from W3C CSS3 candidate recommendation, support for a variety of image effects and page transitions, which are not found in W3C CSS, support for obfuscated script code, in particular JScript.Encode(). Support for embedding EOT fonts in web pages.

Internet Explorer uses a zone-based security framework that groups sites based on certain conditions, including whether it is an Internet or intranet-based site as well as a user-editable whitelist. Security restrictions are applied per zone; all the sites in a zone are subject to the restrictions.

Internet Explorer 6 SP2 onwards uses the Attachment Execution Service of Microsoft Windows to mark executable files downloaded from the Internet as being potentially unsafe. Accessing files marked as such will prompt the user to make an explicit trust decision to execute the file, as executables originating from the Internet can be potentially unsafe. This helps in preventing accidental installation of malware.

Internet Explorer 7 introduced the phishing filter, that restricts access to phishing sites unless the user overrides the decision. With version 8, it also blocks access to sites known to host malware. Downloads are also checked to see if they are known to be malware-infected.

In Windows Vista, Internet Explorer by default runs in what is called Protected Mode, where the privileges of the browser itself are severely restricted it cannot make any system-wide changes. One can optionally turn this mode off but this is not recommended. This also effectively restricts the privileges of any add-ons. As a result, even if the browser or any add-on is compromised, the damage the security breach can cause is limited.

Patches and updates to the browser are released periodically and made available through the Windows Update service, as well as through Automatic Updates. Although security patches continue to be released for a range of platforms, most feature additions and security infrastructure improvements are only made available on operating systems which are in Microsoft's mainstream support phase.

On December 16, 2008, Trend Micro recommended users switch to rival browsers until an emergency IE patch was released to fix a potential security risk which "could allow outside users to take control of a person's computer and steal their passwords". Microsoft representatives countered this recommendation, claiming that "0.02% of internet sites" were affected by the flaw.

On December 17, 2008, a fix to the security problem above became available, with the release of the Security Update for Internet Explorer KB960714, which is available from Microsoft Windows Update's webpage. Microsoft has said that this update fixes the security risk found by Trend Micro the previous day.

In 2011, a report from Accuvant lab said Internet Explorer had a very big improve on security, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer had all 7 security function it should have. But Mozilla Firefox had only 3.

Mozilla Firefox

Mozilla Firefox is a free and open source web browser developed for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux coordinated by Mozilla Corporation and Mozilla Foundation. As of May 2012, Firefox has approximately 25% of worldwide usage share of web browsers, making it the third most widely used web browser. The browser has had particular success in Indonesia, Germany and Poland, where it is the most popular browser with 67%, 50% and 44% of the market share respectively. Firefox uses the Gecko layout engine to render web pages, which implements current and anticipated web standards.

History is Firefox project began as an experimental branch of the Mozilla project by Dave Hyatt, Joe Hewitt and Blake Ross. They believed the commercial requirements of Netscape's sponsorship and developer-driven feature creep compromised the utility of the Mozilla browser. To combat what they saw as the Mozilla Suite's software bloat, they created a stand-alone browser, with which they intended to replace the Mozilla Suite. On April 3, 2003, the Mozilla Organization announced that they planned to change their focus from the Mozilla Suite to Firefox and Thunderbird.

Features is include tabbed browsing, spell checking, incremental find, live bookmarking, smart bookmarks, a download manager, private browsing, location-aware browsing (also known as "geolocation") based on a Google service and an integrated search system that uses Google by default in most localizations. Functions can be added through extensions, created by third-party developers, of which there is a wide selection, a feature that has attracted many of Firefox's users. Additionally, Firefox provides an environment for web developers in which they can use built-in tools, such as the Error Console or the DOM Inspector, or extensions, such as Firebug.

Firefox implements many web standards, including HTML4 (partial HTML5), XML, XHTML, MathML, SVG 1.1 (partial), CSS (with extensions), ECMAScript (JavaScript), DOM, XSLT, XPath, and APNG (Animated PNG) images with alpha transparency. Firefox also implements standards proposals created by the WHATWG such as client-side storage, and canvas element. Firefox has passed the Acid2 standards-compliance test since version 3.0. Mozilla had originally stated that they did not intend for Firefox to pass the Acid3 test fully because they believed that the SVG fonts part of the test had become outdated and irrelevant, due to WOFF being agreed upon as a standard by all major browser makers. Because the SVG font tests were removed from the Acid3 test in September 2011, Firefox 4 and greater scored 100/100. Firefox also implements a proprietary protocol from Google called "safebrowsing" (used to exchange data related with "phishing and malware protection").

Firefox uses a sandbox security model, and limits scripts from accessing data from other web sites based on the same origin policy. It uses SSL/TLS to protect communications with web servers using strong cryptography when using the HTTPS protocol. It also provides support for web applications to use smartcards for authentication purposes. The Mozilla Foundation offers a "bug bounty" (up to 3000 USD cash reward and a Mozilla T-shirt) to researchers who discover severe security holes in Firefox. Official guidelines for handling security vulnerabilities discourage early disclosure of vulnerabilities so as not to give potential attackers an advantage in creating exploits.

Because Firefox generally has fewer publicly known unpatched security vulnerabilities than Internet Explorer (see Comparison of web browsers), improved security is often cited as a reason to switch from Internet Explorer to Firefox. The Washington Post reports that exploit code for known, critical unpatched security vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer was available for 284 days in 2006. In comparison, exploit code for known, critical security vulnerabilities in Firefox was available for 9 days before Mozilla issued a patch to remedy the problem.

A 2006 Symantec study showed that, although Firefox had surpassed other browsers in the number of vendor-confirmed vulnerabilities that year through September, these vulnerabilities were patched far more quickly than those found in other browsers. Symantec later clarified their statement, saying that Firefox still had fewer security vulnerabilities than Internet Explorer, as counted by security researchers. As of February 11, 2011, Firefox 3.6 had no (known) unpatched security vulnerabilities according to Secunia. Internet Explorer 8 had five unpatched security vulnerabilities, the worst being rated "Less Critical" by Secunia. In October 2009, Microsoft's security engineers acknowledged that Firefox was vulnerable since February of that year due to a .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 Windows update that silently installed a buggy 'Windows Presentation Foundation' plug-in into Firefox. This vulnerability has since been patched by Microsoft.

All patched vulnerabilities of Mozilla products are publicly listed.

When Firefox is upgraded to version 7.0, an information bar will appear asking users whether they would like to send performance statistics (also known as “telemetry”) to Mozilla. According to Mozilla's privacy policy, these statistics are stored only in aggregate format, and the only personally-identifiable information transmitted is the user's IP address.

Firefox is a heavily localized web browser. The first official release in November 2004 was available in 24 different languages and for 28 locales, including British English/American English, European Spanish/Argentine Spanish and Chinese in Traditional Chinese characters/Simplified Chinese characters. Currently supported versions 10.0.4 and 12.0 are available for 85 locales (77 languages) and 86 locales (78 languages) respectively.

The internet was first created by the ARPANET while doing research. ARPANET research is the rule among the circuit without a central exchange rules package and queuing theory. At first, the internet is only used to support military activities, but on 1 January 1083, the ARPANET switched protocols of the NPC central circuit to the TCP/IP. And this is the beginning of the internet as we know it today.
