Looks like during their East Coast swing on their 1st leg of their US tour, Pearl jam will make a stop at The Ed Sullivan Theater to play on Late night with David Letterman on Tuesday, October 8th. Set your Tivos and DVRs... This should be good.

PEARL JAM ANNOUNCES FALL 2013 NORTH AMERICAN TOUR DATES

Tickets on sale Saturday, July 27

Pearl Jam announced today that they will embark on a two-leg, twenty-four date North American tour this fall. Leg one kicks-off in Pittsburgh on October 11 and wraps in New Orleans with the band's previously announced headlining performance at Voodoo Music + Arts Experience during the weekend of November 1. The second leg of the tour commences in Dallas on November 15 and closes in the band’s hometown of Seattle on December 6.

Public tickets for Pearl Jam's North American dates go on-sale Saturday, July 27 at 10:00 AMlocal time. Specific ticket on-sale times and locations will be announced in local markets. Tickets for Voodoo Music + Arts Experience are on sale now at www.thevoodooexperience.com.

We are pleased to announce that Pearl Jam is headlining Made in America Music Festival curated by Jay-Z. Made in America takes place Labor Day Weekend (Saturday, September 1st - Sunday, September 2^nd) at Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park.

PLEASE NOTE: Made In America Festival will announce Pearl Jam's exact performance date and time in the coming weeks.

UPS helps Pearl Jam reduce their carbon footprint

As all Pearl Jam fans know by now, the band has been making a conscience effort to reduce their carbon footprint when touring for a few years now. They have now teamed up with UPS and Stone Gossard talks about using the shipping company for the PJ20 Destination Weekend event last year. Here's what UPS had to say on their site:

From stage diving to sustainability. Since their debut 20 years ago, Pearl Jam has evolved from an alternative rock band to a full-scale business. They recently partnered with UPS to devise a transportation strategy and offset the impact of their PJ20 Anniversary Destination Weekend. UPS employed a simple tactic: they used multiple forms of transportation, including rail, instead of semis to move the band's equipment. This helped Pearl Jam reduce a large portion of their carbon output during the PJ20 Destination Weekend. UPS offset the remaining 19 tonnes of carbon by investing in carbon reclamation efforts. The band was so impressed with the results, they're now talking and strategizing with UPS for further solutions to minimize and offset the impact of their tours on the planet.

So I know by now all of you are as bummed as I am about Eddie rescheduling the US Tour until November and December but I want to let everyone know that we will be rescheduling the WISHLIST FOUNDATION PRE PARTY in SAN ANTONIO.. As of right now, we are hoping to keep everything the same as far as location and time. The new date, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 16th. This might actually work out a bit better since its on a Friday now instead of a Wednesday... Keep an eye on our Facebook page for more information. Thanks!

Eddie Vedder Postpones U.S. Tour due to nerve damage in arm

Just got the news today, oh boy..... Well, not that bad but it's a downer for me... I was looking forward to it... Here's the email... NOTE: We will reschedule the preparty when new date is announced.

Hello

We regret to inform you that Eddie Vedder has announced the postponement of his 15-city U.S. solo tour today due to temporary nerve damage in his right arm, the result of a back injury sustained earlier this year.

Pearl Jam manager Kelly Curtis explains, "After having worked aggressively with doctors and physical therapists for the last eight weeks to repair the damage, the intensity of the injury and time needed to heal has made it impossible to play the shows as scheduled. There was hope up until the last minute that the treatments would be successful.  Sincerest apologies go out to those who have made plans and bought tickets. Eddie is frustrated beyond measure, but remains positive that come this summer all will be back in good form."

All postponed dates will be rescheduled for November and December 2012. Your purchased fan club tickets will automatically be honored for the corresponding rescheduled dates. Refunds will be available for a limited time upon request. The deadline to submit your refund request is Friday, April 20^th at 5pm PDT.

Special guest Glen Hansard (The Swell Season, The Frames) will join Vedder on the road for these shows.
