Homemade Gnocchi with Sweet Italian Sausage Sauce

Gnocchi Recipe:

Boil 3 Russet potatoes in salt water

until very tender.

After they cool down smash them with a fork and

add 1 large egg

2 tsp salt

2 cups all purpose flour

roll out into logs and cut them to desired size

boil into salt water until they float to the top

wait 5 minutes and take them out.

Note: You can brown these up in a separate skillet

by adding a little butter and olive oil with some

garlic or whatever herb you desire.

Sweet Italian Sausage Sauce

I used this sausage

and these tomatoes

I took the casings off the sausage and browned it up and then added the tomatoes and cooked them for 10 minutes then I added the gnocchi to the sauce and topped with Parmesan cheese.
