I have been experimenting with several different calendar apps, trying to find the perfect calendar that I can post on my blog. I wasn't satisfied with Google Calendar or CalendarHub, so now I'm trying Spongecell's online calendar application. It's easy to use and I'm able to post it in several different formats. Making Money From My Laptop

While some bloggers/blog readers are uneasy about getting paid to post about certain topics, I think it is a fabulous idea for someone who enjoys writing and could use the extra money. Even if you don't need the extra money, PayPerPost gives you the option of donating the money you earn to a charity! I heard about payperpost (PPP) a long time ago when I was researching how other bloggers earn money online. I signed up immediately, and then when I got my new laptop, I forgot to add it to my bookmarks and I forgot about it. Today I was looking at another bloggers total January Online Income and I saw that she had earned quite a bit from PPP. I was pleasantly surprised to see that my account hadn't been deleted even though I hadn't logged in for many months!

Compared to other similar services, PPP has a huge selection of opportunities to choose from! It is easy to find a product that is within your blogs "niche" that is not only helpful to you, but spreads the word to your readers! It was easy to register too! There wasn't a long application process or a mile-long list of blog traffic/posting/page rank requirements to sign up, I felt very good about it.

All of the opportunities listed have a much better compensation offered than any other place I've seen! Those of you who read my blog regularly know that I am using all the money I earn online to pay off some debts so that I can go back to school, and I'm planning on eliminating a nice big chunk of that debt with my earnings from PayPerPost!

I finally took the time and I calculated all of my online income for the month of January. This is the first time I've ever actually recorded, totaled, and charted my earnings and I was a little surprised by the results!

Cash Coaster GPT Site Review

Here's a new GPT site for ya'll. It's called Cash Coaster:

The Basics:

Minimum to Cashout: $15
You will get paid when you make above the minimum of $15, you will receive a check on or around the 20th of every month.
Referral Commission: One level: 10% of your referrals earnings

I submitted a Mystery Shopper Offer worth $1.00 and 1 token and a Must Have Free Gifts offer worth $2.00 and 2 tokens. The Mystery Shopper Offer was very simple, I completed 2 pages and an e-mail confirmation before I submitted. The Must Have Free Gifts offer was equally easy - 2 pages and an e-mail confirm (although you had to copy and paste a HUGE password, but still pretty simple!) I literally submitted the 2 offers about 5 minutes ago and as of yet they have not been approved, but I'll try to keep you updated on how long it takes.

As for the selection of free offers, I'm pretty impressed. The number of offers is decent, but the PAYOUT is very nice. I only saw a couple of offers worth $0.50, several for $1.00 or $1.50 and the rest were even more! If they confirm the offers easily, I will be a huge fan of this site.

While the contact info of the site owner(s?) isn't as great as it could be, you are provided with 3 different e-mail addresses.

The layout is fairly simple. No forums or chat rooms, but they do have a referral contest:

So... I forgot about the 2 offers I submitted on Craving 4 Cash, so I checked back there and sure enough, they both have been credited! One of them was an MID offer, the other was a Credit Finder offer of some sort that I didn't think I would get credit for (since I don't give out my SS# on GPT sites), but I did! Need help getting started on repairing your credit?

Last year I made some horrible financial decisions. I bounced checks, was late on all of my bills (including my rent) repeatedly, and I got a credit card and missed so many payments that they eventually just wrote it off. Fast forward 9 months: my car bit the dust and I knew getting a car loan was not going to be easy since my credit was so bad.

You always hear about those credit repair places, but I never knew which ones were sketchy and which ones were legitimate. Furthermore, I didn't know how to compare services or prices. I know there are places that will give loans and credit cards to people with bad credit, but I didn't know where to begin to look.

The website "Bad Credit Offers" compares different offers catered towards people with bad credit. Instead of having to figure things out yourself, this service will narrow down different companies and offers based on your criteria and needs. You can find all sorts of bad credit loans and compare them all until you find the one that fits your individual needs. You can find places that will help you to repair your credit, or home loans/car loans credit cards/ etc. that work with people who have not so great credit. You can even get your credit report and score.

Not only can you compare different offers side by side, you can apply for them directly from the website!

This site would have been a blessing if I had found it a year ago or even 4 months ago when I was trying to get an auto loan. Luckily I have it bookmarked now so when I'm ready to really work on repairing my credit, I know where to go.

Craving4Cash: A New GPT Site

My Experience with Craving4Cash

At first glance, Craving4Cash does not look like a typical GPT site. It's clean design and contrasting colors give it that web 2.0 vibe, and the minimalism makes it very easy to navigate. Even the registration for this site was simple! There was no phone verification involved, just a simple e-mail confirmation.

After registering, I clicked on the most important link: EARN. The instructions were clear, and I made sure to display only the free offers, and I was shocked to see free offers worth $8 and $10! True, these offers required you to submit either a cell phone number or a social security number, but the payout still seemed higher than similar offers on other GPT sites.

All in all, their selection of free offers is still pretty limited, but for a site that is less than a week old, it's not too bad at all! I decided to complete an e-mail submission offer, and was pleased to see that it was an advertiser I'd never seen on any other GPT site. This means that there's a better chance it will get credited, since they probably don't have any of my information (or my computer's information) at all. I was even more pleased that the advertiser did not give me 17 different popups!

I clicked "Offer Status" on the sidebar to make sure the offer I submitted was there, and it showed it as "pending". As I waited for it to "pend" I clicked around some more. Although I knew I didn't have any referrals yet, I decided to click on "My Referrals" and from the looks of it, it seems like you will be able to tell where your referrals came from. There is a section that says: "Your referrals came from the following places: TOTAL URL". That would be very cool to find out where your referrals are coming from!

All in all I think Craving4Cash has a lot of great things going for it.

The only drawback I can see is the limited number of free offers available, but I think that with time that number will get bigger.

I have only submitted one offer so far (about 15 minutes ago) and it is still in pending. I'm going to submit another one in about 10 minutes and I will let you know how long it takes for them to credit. Until then, I highly recommend you check the site out for yourself.

A couple of weeks ago, a friend of mine set me up on a blind date. I've never been on a blind date so naturally, I was a little nervous. The date went fine, there weren't any sparks, but he was a nice guy. I found out that he is a big online poker player, and has actually won a lot (by "a lot" I mean THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS) of money. He's actually made so much money that he doesn't need to work right now.

Unfortunately, playing online poker was the only interesting thing about Mr. Blind Date-- but this intrigued me enough to look into it for myself. Fairy Tale Treasures Kicked Off a Fraudster in my Downline

For the past month, every day I've looked forward to logging on to GPTTracker. I haven't spent a whole lot of time completing offers at any GPT site, yet I've been earning dollars while doing nothing. In fact, I've earned more money from referrals on Fairy Tale Treasures than any other GPT site!

Today I logged on and noticed my balance was almost a dollar less than yesterday! And my number of 1st level referrals went from 4 to 3! I immediately messaged the sisters who run the site, Lorie and Caroline, to find out what happened. Lorie responded back (it only took 2-3 minutes! hows that for service?!) informing me "One of your downline was fraud. Unfortunately, there a ton of reversals still coming on this downline."

I am so upset. I've earned almost $30 in referral earnings, and I was looking forward to a $30 check next month, and now I probably won't see it.

*YOU CANNOT "CHEAT" THE SYSTEM---- YOU WILL EVENTUALLY GET CAUGHT, WHICH SUCKS FOR YOU AND RUINS IT FOR EVERYONE ELSE!!!

Almost every GPT site has been sending out messages regarding fraud- they are changing their terms, cancelling special incentives/bonuses, etc. as a result of people who are ruining it for everyone else. Personally, I rarely do the offers that cost money or require a credit card, unless I'm actually interested. I've done a VistaPrint offer and that's about it. Apparently the bulk of the fraud is coming from people submitting offers requiring a credit card. These offers usually pay more which means that GPT site owners are losing more, advertisers are losing more, and everyone is getting pissed.

So far, the offers that have been reversed on my referral earnings account history were free offers. You absolutely, positively CANNOT USE FAKE INFORMATION OR COMPLETE THE SAME OFFER MULTIPLE TIMES!!!

Disco Dollars Payment Proof

I FINALLY received my check from Disco Dollars! They have a low minimum payout of $10, which I reached by August. I requested a payout via Paypal, but for some reason it didn't go through, so I re-requested to be paid by check in September. I was starting to give up hope on the site, but I received my $13.60 check on Saturday! If only I'd requested a check the first time, I could have been $13 richer a month ago! :)

My Money Making Experiment With Smorty

If you read this blog regularly, you know that I recently signed up with Smorty, a service you can sign up for that >pays you to blog. I am really happy with it so far, I like the interface a lot -- it's very easy to navigate! Furthermore, the opportunities available to bloggers who are interested in blogging for money consist of content that fit right in with blogs that are of Finance/Work At Home topics. Smorty is not only a service for bloggers, it also connects the advertisers with bloggers. This means that you have the option of posting opportunities where you pay bloggers to review and link back to your site on their blog.

Smorty has not smothered me with daily e-mails or newsletters, or any of the sort. I can't tell you what a relief that is! There's nothing more annoying than signing up for a program only to have them bombard you with e-mail. However, Smorty does e-mail you when new campaigns are suitable for you, so don't worry about missing out on opportunities!

6 Reasons You Aren't Making Free Money on GPT Sites

On GPT (Get Paid To) sites, you get paid for completing offers from various advertisers. Some of these offers are free, others cost money and require a credit card. It's pretty common knowledge that getting credited for certain freebie offers (such as the notorious Generous Genie offers) can be a little tricky.

If you are fairly new to the world of GPT programs, click here for the basic tutorial on making sure your freebie offers get credited.

If you are like me, and have been earning money on GPT sites for awhile now, you might have noticed that sometimes it begins to seem like none of the freebie offers on any GPT site approved anymore, no matter how many times you clear your damn cookies.

I decided to do some research and find some some solutions to this dilemma. Here are 6 things you can do to help get those free offers approved:

Alternate between e-mail addresses! I have at least 3 different e-mail addresses that I use, and I alternate between them. It's a hassle to log in and out of all of these addresses, so I use g-mail's filter system so that all of the e-mails forward back to my main GPT e-mail address, then I use a label system to keep track of them.

For example: Let's say my main e-mail address for GPT offers is "maingpt@gmail.com". I create a new address for completing offers and (gptaddress2@gmail.com) and then set up a filter for that account.
My filter says to forward any incoming mail that is TO: gptaddress2@gmail.com to the e-mail address maingpt@gmail.com.
I then log out and set up a filter on my maingpt@gmail.com account. This filter says to label all e-mail that is FROM: gptaddress2@gmail.com as "gptaddress2".
Many advertisers have caught on to the old gmail dot trick (m.ainGPT@gmail.com), so I don't even try it anymore, as it can be considered fraudulent activity by certain sites.

Keep an eye out for survey "families." Certain surveys/offers have different names but are from the same "family," (such as Winning surveys, Big Bucks surveys, Survey Network, Consumer expressions, and Consumer Beat.) If you use the same e-mail address or username for all of these offers, they most likely will not credit.
Make sure you are opening up your confirmation e-mails and clicking on the confirmation links BEFORE you submit the offer. Even though many times these links will just open windows of pop-up ads, that's ok! Leave the windows open for bit (make sure they load completely) before you close them. This is especially important on Generous Genie, Mega Promotion, and Rewards Gateway offers.
Chill out on the number of GPT sites you are active in. I'm a member of literally dozens of sites, but there are about 6-8 that I am actually active on. In the past, I have gone through phases where I spend a lot of time completing offers on certain sites, then for whatever reason, I'll change moods and start using another site more often. Since I've been having a lot of difficulty getting offers to credit, I'm going to take a temporary break from all but 4 sites (Deal Barbie Pays, Monster Pays Cash, Fairy Tale Treasures, and Cash Crate) so that I can keep better track of the offers.
Make sure your web browser is set to accept cookies! If you are using Firefox, make sure your Privacy settings are set to Accept All Cookies until They Expire. Be sure to still clear your cookies (I clear all my private data) after each offer. If you use Internet Explorer you can set these settings under your Internet Options --> Privacy Tab ---> Settings. It is not recommended that you use Netscape or AOL for completing offers.

Get organized. This is something that I have not done well in the past, and that's why I'm cutting back on the GPT sites I am active in. It will be easier to keep track of the offers I submit. Using a spreadsheet like the one below is the easiest way to keep track of offers submitted, e-mail addresses used, etc. This will be time consuming, but can not only help you get more free offers approved, but prevent you from being barred from all GPT sites for fraud. Fraudulent activity is a huge problem in the GPT industry -- it is very possible that you could get kicked off of all GPT sites if you use fake/duplicate information! If you have followed all the rules and your offers are still in pending after 14 days, you can try submitting them again, many times they will complete the 2nd or 3rd try.
