Interessou-se por História Natural ainda em sua infância. Aos 11 anos de idade, publicou seu primeiro trabalho sobre sua observação de um pardal albino. Esse breve estudo é considerado o início de sua brilhante carreira científica. Lá ele freqüentou aulas lecionadas por Jung e trabalhou como psiquiatra em uma clínica. Essas experiências influenciaram-no em seu trabalho. Piaget notou que crianças francesas da mesma faixa etária cometiam erros semelhantes nesses testes e concluiu que o pensamento lógico se desenvolve gradualmente.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="line-height: 18px;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: white;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: #0c343d;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;O ano de 1919 foi um marco em sua vida. Quando iniciou seus estudos experimentais sobre a mente humana e começou a pesquisar também sobre o desenvolvimento das habilidades cognitivas. Seu conhecimento de Biologia levou-o a enxergar o desenvolvimento cognitivo de uma criança como sendo uma evolução gradativa.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="line-height: 18px;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: white;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: #0c343d;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;Em 1921, voltou à Suíça e tornou-se diretor de estudos no Instituto J. J. Rousseau da Universidade de Genebra. Registros revelam que ele foi o único suíço a ser convidado para lecionar na Universidade de Sorbonne (Paris, França), onde permaneceu de 1952 a 1963. Até a data de seu falecimento fundou e dirigiu o Centro Internacional para Epistemologia Genética. Você deve evitar fazer qualquer tipo de sugestão. Tudo o que precisa é parecer completamente ignorante (sobre o jogo de bola de gude) e até mesmo cometer alguns erros propositais de modo que a criança, a cada erro, possa dizer claramente qual é a regra. (Oliveira, 1977: 67), lembrando que ele afirma que a aquisição do conhecimento se dá através das zonas de desenvolvimento: a real e a proximal.&amp;nbsp; A zona de desenvolvimento real é a do conhecimento já adquirido, é o que a pessoa traz consigo, já a proximal, só é atingida, de início, com o auxílio de outras pessoas mais “capazes”, que já tenham adquirido esse conhecimento.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="line-height: 18px;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: white;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: #0c343d;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;“As maiores aquisições de uma criança são conseguidas no brinquedo, aquisições que no futuro tornar-se-ão seu&amp;nbsp; nível básico de ação real&amp;nbsp; e moralidade (Vygotsky, 1998)”.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="line-height: 18px;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: white;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: #0c343d;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;Piaget (1998) diz que a atividade lúdica é o berço obrigatório das atividades intelectuais da criança sendo por isso, indispensável à prática educativa (Aguiar, 1977, 58).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="line-height: 18px;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: white;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: #0c343d;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;Na visão sócio-histórica de Vygotsky, a brincadeira, o jogo, é uma atividade específica da infância, em que a criança recria a realidade usando sistemas simbólicos. Essa é uma atividade social, com contexto cultural e social.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="line-height: 18px;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: white;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: #0c343d;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;Para Vygotsky, citado por Wajskop (1999:35): “... A brincadeira cria para as crianças uma zona de desenvolvimento proximal que não é outra coisa senão à distância entre o nível atual de desenvolvimento, determinado pela capacidade de resolver independentemente um problema, e o&amp;nbsp; nível de desenvolvimento potencial, determinado através da resolução de um problema, sob a orientação de um adulto, ou de um companheiro mais capaz”.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="line-height: 18px;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: white;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: #0c343d;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;Vygotsky, citado por Lins (1999), classifica o brincar em algumas fases: durante a primeira fase a criança começa a se distanciar de seu primeiro meio social, representado pela mãe, começa a falar, andar e movimentar-se em volta das coisas. Nesta fase, o ambiente a alcança por meio do adulto e pode-se dizer que a fase estende-se até em torno dos sete anos. A segunda fase é caracterizada pela imitação, a criança copia os modelos dos adultos. A terceira fase é marcada pelas convenções que surgem de regras e convenções a elas associadas.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="line-height: 18px;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: white;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: #0c343d;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;Vygotsky (1989: 109), ainda afirma que: “é enorme a influência do brinquedo no desenvolvimento de uma criança. É no brinquedo que a criança aprende a agir numa esfera cognitiva, ao invés de agir numa esfera visual externa, dependendo das motivações e tendências internas, e não por incentivos fornecidos por objetos externos”.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="line-height: 18px;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: white;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: #0c343d;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;A noção de “zona proximal de desenvolvimento” interliga-se, portanto, de maneira muito forte, à sensibilidade do professor em&amp;nbsp; relação às necessidades e capacidades da criança e à sua aptidão para utilizar as contingências do meio&amp;nbsp; a fim de dar-lhe a possibilidade de passar do que sabe fazer para o que não sabe. (Pourtois, 199: 109).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="line-height: 18px;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: white;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: #0c343d;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;As brincadeiras que são oferecidas à criança devem estar de acordo com a zona de desenvolvimento em que ela se encontra, desta forma, pode-se perceber a importância do professor conhecer a teoria de Vygotsky.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="line-height: 18px;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: white;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: #0c343d;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;No processo da educação infantil o papel do professor é de suma importância, pois é ele quem cria os espaços, disponibiliza materiais, participa das brincadeiras, ou seja, faz a mediação da construção do conhecimento.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="line-height: 18px;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: white;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: #0c343d;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;A desvalorização do movimento natural e espontâneo da criança em favor do conhecimento estruturado e formalizado ignora as dimensões educativas da brincadeira e do jogo como forma rica e poderosa de estimular a atividade construtiva da criança. É urgente e necessário que o professor procure ampliar cada vez mais as vivências da criança com o ambiente físico, com brinquedos, brincadeiras e com outras crianças.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="line-height: 18px;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: white;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: #0c343d;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;O jogo, compreendido sob a ótica do brinquedo e da criatividade, deverá encontrar maior espaço para ser entendido como educação, na medida em que os professores compreenderem melhor toda sua capacidade potencial de contribuir para com o desenvolvimento da criança.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="line-height: 18px;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: white;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: #0c343d;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;NEGRINE (1994, 20), em estudos realizados sobre aprendizagem e desenvolvimento infantil, afirma que "quando a criança chega à escola, traz consigo toda uma pré-história, construída a partir de suas vivências, grande parte delas através da atividade lúdica".&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="line-height: 18px;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: white;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: #0c343d;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;Segundo esse autor, é fundamental que os professores tenham conhecimento do saber que a criança construiu na interação com o ambiente familiar e sócio-cultural, para formular sua proposta pedagógica.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="line-height: 18px;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: white;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: #0c343d;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;Entendemos, a partir dos princípios aqui expostos, que o professor deverá contemplar a brincadeira como princípio norteador das atividades didático-pedagógicas, possibilitando às manifestações corporais encontrarem significado pela&amp;nbsp; ludicidade presente na relação que as crianças mantêm com o mundo.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="line-height: 18px;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: white;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: #0c343d;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;Porém essa perspectiva não é tão fácil de ser adotada na prática. Podemos nos perguntar: como colocar em prática uma proposta de educação infantil em que as crianças desenvolvam, construam/adquiram conhecimentos e se tornem autônomas e cooperativas?&lt;br /&gt;
Como os professores favorecerão a construção de conhecimentos se não forem desafiados a construírem os seus? O caminho que parece possível implica pensar a formação permanente dos profissionais que nela atuam.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="line-height: 18px;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: white;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: #0c343d;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"&gt;“... é preciso que os profissionais de educação infantil tenham acesso ao conhecimento produzido na área da educação infantil e da cultura em geral, para repensarem sua prática, se reconstruírem enquanto cidadãos e atuarem enquanto sujeitos da produção de conhecimento.
