O piloto Rubens Barrichello acelerou pela primeira vez um carro de Fórmula Indy nesta segunda-feira, durante os testes da equipe KV Racing em Sebring, na Flórida.&lt;br /&gt;

Depois de ouvir as dicas de Tony Kanaan, responsável pelo convite, Barrichello viu o amigo completar as primeiras voltas do modelo de 2012, feito com chassis Dallara DW12.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Em seguida, chegou a vez de Rubinho. “Só espero não quebrar nada do Jimmy [Vasser, dono da equipe]”, brincou Barrichello antes de se posicionar no cockpit, em declaração ao site oficial da Indy.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Aos 39 anos, ele ficou sem assento na Fórmula 1 após 19 temporadas seguidas. Antes do teste, Rubinho se disse ansioso. Mas evitou se empolgar com a possibilidade de correr na Indy&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
“Meu futuro está em aberto, e depois tem coisas para serem conversadas. Essa fome de velocidade ainda corre na veia, então tudo o que eu quero agora é sentar no carro e me divertir”, declarou Rubinho ao programa Jogo Aberto.&lt;br /&gt;

Além de Kanaan e Barrichello, a pista em Sebring recebe ainda os carros das equipes Penske, Andretti, Panther e Lotus para os primeiros testes do ano, com os pilotos Ryan Hunter-Reay, James Hinchcliffe, JR Hildebrand, Ryan Briscoe, Helio Castroneves e Will Power.(Uol)&lt;br /&gt;

A julgar pelos lucros que receberam, as matrizes de diversas montadoras de automóveis não tiveram do que reclamar de suas subsidiárias brasileiras em 2011. Os dados estão fresquinhos, foram divulgados pelo Banco Central na última terça-feira (24): a indústria automotiva no Brasil foi o setor que mais remeteu dinheiro ao exterior no ano passado, à frente até de bancos e empresas de telecomunicações, que ficaram com o segundo e terceiro lugares, respectivamente.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;Não se trata de números frívolos: foram os próprios fabricantes de veículos que registraram junto ao BC remessas de lucros e dividendos no total de US$ 5,58 bilhões, o maior valor de todos os tempos, equivalente a 19% de todas as operações desse tipo no ano no Brasil e 36% superior aos US$ 4,1 bilhões de 2010.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
Não por acaso, as remessas recordistas de lucros e dividendos das montadoras instaladas no país aumentaram justamente no momento em que as matrizes mais sofrem nos mercados maduros de Europa e América do Norte, e por isso precisam sustentar seus resultados financeiros com o caixa das subsidiárias em países emergentes. O BC não publica a lista de empresas remetentes de dinheiro nem os valores individuais, muito menos as empresas informam qualquer dado sobre o tema, alegando que só divulgam balanços no exterior -- mas lá também não se encontram os lucros recebidos de cada subsidiária; e assim tudo fica por isso mesmo.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Nada contra o lucro, tudo contra esconder esses números como se fosse coisa ilegal. Não é. Contudo, é no mínimo desconfortável, tendo em vista que as montadoras, em maior ou menor grau, estão alinhadas ao discurso da falta de competitividade brasileira, que torna difícil a vida por aqui, e que por isso precisaria ser compensada com generosos incentivos fiscais e financiamento público de investimentos. Os dividendos remetidos mostram que a vida no Brasil pode ser complicada, mas também pode ser altamente lucrativa.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;CONCEITO ALOPRADO&lt;br /&gt;É fato que existem problemas de competitividade. Por isso mesmo é surpreendente que, em ambiente tão adverso como pintam as montadoras, as remessas de lucros e dividendos tenham aumentado tanto.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Vale destacar que esses resultados foram conseguidos, em sua maioria, com a venda de carros que têm graus de sofisticação e conforto bastante inferiores em comparação com os modelos fabricados nos países de origem das empresas instaladas aqui, porque no Brasil o poder aquisitivo dos consumidores também é menor -- ainda que esteja em ascensão. Em tese, são produtos menos rentáveis, que -- para piorar -- no Brasil recebem uma das maiores cargas tributárias do mundo para competir com a margem de lucro.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Cabe ressaltar, também, que a produção das fábricas brasileiras de veículos avançou muito pouco em 2011, apenas 0,7% sobre 2010 -- ou seja, produziu-se quase o mesmo e, ainda assim, foi possível remeter muito mais lucro: US$ 1,5 bilhão a mais do que no exercício anterior.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Portanto, temos no Brasil um caso inusitado, digno de estudos acadêmicos ainda a serem feitos: fabricantes de veículos dizem enfrentar aqui custos altos de toda natureza, fazem produtos considerados de baixa rentabilidade, com alta incidência de impostos, a produção não avança -- e, ainda assim, remetem lucros bilionários às matrizes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Além disso, ainda sobra algum para prometer investimentos combinados que já passam de US$ 26 bilhões nos próximos cinco anos, considerando somente os anúncios feitos até dezembro passado. Só lucros generosos -- e financiamentos públicos idem -- podem justificar a aplicação de tamanha fortuna para fazer no Brasil novos produtos e aumentar a capacidade de 18 fábricas de carros e nove de caminhões, além da construção de oito novas plantas de automóveis e seis de veículos comerciais pesados, elevando o número total de unidades de produção das atuais 24 para 38, com capacidade para fazer 6,5 milhões de unidades por ano a partir de 2015.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Por mais aloprado que o conceito pareça, é preciso reconhecer que "Custo Brasil" e "Lucro Brasil" são como irmãos siameses: andam grudados, um puxando o outro, mas sempre na mesma direção: para cima, no preço dos carros, relativamente altos em relação ao que oferecem.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;BOM EXEMPLO&lt;br /&gt;O Brasil tem, sim, problemas de competitividade a enfrentar, mas por certo o lucro não está entre eles. Portanto, não há nenhuma justificativa para aumentá-los por meio das medidas de incentivo ao setor automotivo nacional (ou seria transnacional?), que estão em gestação no governo e podem ser anunciadas em fevereiro.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Muito pelo contrário: assim como o país deveria reduzir impostos sobre veículos, as montadoras deveriam dar o bom exemplo de diminuir lucros e incluir mais qualidade tecnológica nos modelos produzidos aqui.(Pedro Kutney - UOL)&lt;br /&gt;

A DS Brasil Series fechou contrato com a empresa alemã Data Racing, que vaifornecer os equipamentos de telemetria, capazes de fazer leitura e emissão subsequente das notas do piloto, em relação à aceleração e ângulos de entrada e saída das derrapagens controladas. “Dois técnicos da Data Racing, o italiano Graziano Definis e o sérvio Dragan Mitrovic, participam dessa primeira etapa. Além disso, teremos dois juízes internacionais.&lt;span class="apple-converted-space"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;Cesar Takemura e Rui Youichii Takeda&lt;span class="apple-converted-space"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;são pilotos brasileiros de drift, mas com atuação em arbitragem no Japão. Com isso, teremos três notas: da telemetria e dos doisjuízes. A nova S10  certamente vai mantê-la, e terá também versões movidas a diesel (estas,  obrigatoriamente com tração 4x4 e reduzida). No lançamento, será  esclarecido se os motores ainda serão os 2.4 (flex) e 2.8 (turbodiesel)  usados no modelo que está sendo aposentado. Haverá opções de cabine  simples e dupla.&lt;br /&gt;

O SUV que substituirá a Blazer, cuja fabricação foi encerrada no ano passado, é derivado dessa nova S10 e &lt;strong&gt;ganhou o nome Trailblazer&lt;/strong&gt;  no exterior. Picape e utilitário esportivo trazem a nova frente da  Chevrolet e interiores no padrão adotado em modelos como o sedã Cruze --  é a linguagem global da marca, difundida pela gama, entre outras  razões, para cortar custos. Estou confiante de que ele fará o  melhor de si, porque sabemos que ele tem muito potencial. E eu sei que,  sob pressão, o Felipe tem um desempenho ainda melhor. O  dirigente aproveitou para elogiar o empenho e o trabalho que está sendo  feito por Fernando Alonso, companheiro de Massa. “Sempre esperamos mais e  mais e o que ele fez no ano passado, com o carro que tínhamos, foi  incrível. Ele tirou o máximo do carro, então eu diria que o Fernando  está em um nível fantástico. Nos últimos dois anos, ele passou muito  tempo em Maranello, mais do que qualquer outra pessoa que já vi nos 20  anos que tenho de experiência na Ferrari. Com bom espaço para os  antigos. Demorou, mas a capital paulista passou a ver a expressão que um  evento de negócios voltado para os automóveis com mais de 30 anos pode  trazer. A dúvida  era se havia um grande evento na cidade. Como disse que não, pediu um  projeto de alto nível para viabilizar junto a Câmara de Vereadores. “A  resposta veio como um evento de calendário e apoio financeiro para a  primeira edição, de onde surgiu a parceria com o Automóvel Clube do  Brasil”, explica. Essa seria a segunda edição, mas a primeira com o  suporte e parceria da Reed Exhibitions Alcântara Machado.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/h3&gt;&lt;h3 style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: normal;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br style="font-weight: normal;" /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: normal;"&gt;Foram  várias as atrações do Salão Internacional dos Veículos Antigos. A  comemoração dos 55 anos do primeiro carro fabricado em série no país, o  charmoso Romi-Isetta, contou com belos exemplares. Um veículo pequeno,  com porta frontal única e capacidade para transportar dois adultos e uma  criança. Nunca os carros minis foram tão atuais.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/h3&gt;&lt;h3 style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: normal;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br style="font-weight: normal;" /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: normal;"&gt;Para quem gosta de  filme, história e potência, um clássico automotivo mundial. Com a  palavra Marcelo Bellato, coordenador do acervo do Museu Paulista de  Antiguidades Mecânicas Roberto Lee, de Caçapava. “É uma oportunidade  para quem gosta de carros antigos conhecer os modelos que trouxemos. O  mais famoso é o Tucker. Foram fabricadas só 51 unidades. Foi um carro  revolucionário, com motor de helicóptero, localizado na parte traseira  do veículo. A fábrica foi boicotada nos Estados Unidos. Houve até a  tentativa de fabricar o veículo no Brasil, mas não deu certo.”&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/h3&gt;&lt;h3 style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: normal;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br style="font-weight: normal;" /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: normal;"&gt;No  contexto entretenimento, a consagração dos 50 anos do seriado “O  Vigilante Rodoviário”, com a presença do ator e policial, Carlos  Miranda, bem como o Simca Chambord e Chevrolet Veraneio usados nos  episódios. Ainda não passou despercebidos os 100 anos ricos em glamour  do símbolo The Spirit of Ecstasy (O Espírito do Êxtase) da Rolls Royce. E  nem os 125 anos da primeira Mercedes. Na plateia do leilão, colecionadores de diversos  estados, como Santa Catarina, Amazonas, Paraná, Rio de Janeiro, entre  outros, que vieram especialmente para comprar ou vender. Os veículos  passaram por uma criteriosa avaliação, feita por especialistas e  profissionais de leilão. Os compradores também participaram de uma  pré-seleção, para garantir o alto nível do evento. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br style="font-weight: normal;" /&gt;&lt;br style="font-weight: normal;" /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: normal;"&gt;“No mesmo  final de semana São Paulo recebeu a Fórmula 1, um encontro de caminhões e  ônibus no Memorial da América Latina e o SIVA. Foi o final de semana  mais automobilístico do ano!”, comenta pesquisadora do Portal Antigo  Motors. “O maior motivo do sucesso do Salão foi a colaboração dos amigos  colecionadores, porque sem eles não teríamos como fazer um evento de  tamanha qualidade.
