Here's a quick rundown of things that may affect when and how I reach my goals.

I am in my mid 20s, single, and still lives with my parents -- no mortgage or rent to pay but I do help in paying bills

I work online, at home, and have a work schedule of Mondays through Fridays at 7AM-4PM. This also means that I don't have to keep a budget for my transportation and food.

I don't exercise...at all! :| and I love to eat and sleep :)

Lives in the Philippines. This is just something to consider since the cost of living and money's worth may differ from where you are.

I started investing in the stock market but knows little about it. I don't allocate money for this regularly. But I do invest in a small business where you can say that I am kind of a stockholder. I give a certain amount to them and it also grows depending on the "market". This is where I invests most of my savings.

Now, you might be wondering that the 100,000php goal is within my reach if I stay at my parents house, have a regular job, even able to invest on a business. Well, the money I give to pay our bills is half of my current salary. I also go out twice a week on a regular and there are other expenses that I spend on. And I spend 5% of my salary on tithe (I plan on giving 10% this year).
If we only consider the expenses (not considering the savings/investments), I will be left with only 6,000php per month, which equates to 72,000php per year. But this is if and only if I don't ever go on a vacation, buy new clothes or shoes, buy gifts, or any other expenses you might think of.
Also, I do like to save money for the small business I invest, at least trice a year I add 10,000 to that.

What I have now is:
72,000 - (10,000 x 3) = 42,000
And from that 42,000, let's just subtract 15,000 for all the other expenses I might have for a year.
42,000 - 15,000 = 27,000
That's just like a quarter of my goal!

So how do I reach my goal of 100,000? I'll tell you a couple of ideas to earn the remaining 73,000 on my next post :) and the best part, you can also do them! Yay!

Goals for 2016

Hey goal diggers! Happy new year!
Hope everyone's 2016 is up to a good start :)

As for me, I am looking forward to being a better person and focus on the things I want to accomplish.

So here's a list of my goals this year:

Reduce weight to 45 kg. (I'm only 5' so this is just right for my height)

Save 100,000php (this is a huge amount for me since I help with the bills at home, I also have some expenses of my own)

Make sure to tithe 10% of my salary (currently, I only get to tithe around 3-5% of my salary).

Invest 24,000php in the stock market (2,000 per month)

This list is basically the result that I want by the end of the year. I may still add more to this list later on but for now, I will work on these throughout the year. I will also be posting about how I plan on achieving these goals which would hopefully help you reach your goals, too. And of course, at the end of 2016, I will update you on my accomplishments!

Let me know on the comments section below what your goals are.

Achieve Your Goals

For the past year now, I have had a lot of goals and aspirations that I would love to achieve. Mostly short-term but will have long-term impact in my life. But for a lot of them, I cannot seem to commit 100% to it and finally achieve those goals. Some of which are to lose weight, stocks investment of at least 2000 per month, and a healthy lifestyle.

This coming 2016, I want to achieve all the goals that I declare. Through this blog I will list my plans and the things I want to achieve, how I will do it, and if I indeed achieve them.

So join me in my journey of digging my goals and let's challenge each other to achieve them!
