The song has 16 dances, and America is that Land of 1,000 Dances. What do I mean?

In this day and age, there are different types of music (and I listen to most of them) and people around the country go for different stuff. Some people like Country-western, others Rap and Hip-Hop, there is Pop and Blues, jazz and swing (and my personal favorite Swing Goth) and finally Goth music.

What country offers so much diversity in music?

We on the Right (Tea Partiers, Social Libertarians and Old School Republicans [but not Paul Supporters]) believe in the quality of the individual. Look, the candidate I support for President this year, Speaker Gingrich, has enough social baggage to make social issues a non-starter in his administration. And the House Republicans under his watch did not push the Social angle.

Nor did Speaker Hastart.

Now, the Democrats and the Progressives claim to be in favor of Free Speech; They claim to be Open Minded and they claim to support "the People," (more on this one in another post) -- but the Truth is much scarier.

In the Land of 1,000 Dances, Democrats only want you to dance ONE dance. Republicans believe every American can dance whatever they want.

First, some examples of Democrats and free Speech:

1. Code Pink interrupting Gov. Palin's Convention Speech;

2. Columbia University Young Democrats Block Minutemen from Speaking;

3. Steve Benen wanting to silence Senator McCain on television;

3A) No Conservative is allowed to comment at the Washington Monthly. and

4) Democrats Prosecute their opponents (Nixon, Palin, Walker, etc)

Today's Democrats have turned into John Lithgow of Footloose.

How can you claim to be open minded when you Hate other Americans whose views differ? (I had to deal with that last year from a friend who betrayed me)

I can read Liberal Blogs and magazines and not feel that they must be silenced or shat upon for different views. Liberals reading (or hearing) other views think they must be silenced if they do not conform with their vision. Read any Liberal Blog and find CUND Gulag (who uses the "c" word for women and the "n" word for everyone of that shade) Hatred of other Americans and does not believe in debate. A Praetorian Guard of the Left Blogs whose Hatred trumps open mindedness wherever he goes.

If a Liberal is open minded, then we can hear them defend the free speech rights of Dana Loesch, Rush Limbaugh and the like? Right?

[Cue crickets]

And with President Obama in office for four years (the first two with a majority Democratic Congress), you'd think they'd take responsibility for not passing a budget in 1,000 days or high unemployment.

No, the mantra of the Closed minded Liberal is: Blame Bush.

Liberals want to silence other views and they only want one dance: Theirs.

For 2012, this must move to the forefront: Why be locked down to one dance when Americans dance multiple ways?

Liberals believe Government can save us all and business' are suspect. And if you don't follow their tune, they call you racist, stupid, evil or any matter of things they would not call themselves. Its a way of stopping debate, not opening up to other voices.And heck, they believe in conspiracies and code words. And they're the smart folks? The modern Liberal shares a lot of quality beliefs with Paulbots.

If you look at the "Party of the People," their leadership remains in power 20 years after their time, and are all Ivy leaguers.

So, thus, if you are a Liberal without an Ivy degree, you cannot move up within the Party. Speaker Gingrich is not an Ivy and he has a good shot at the Presidency. Governor Palin had no Ivy and she was also considered.

The last non-Ivy Democrat elected to the Presidency was in 1965. The last non-Ivy the Republicans elected was in 1984. Which is the party of the people again?

And Democrats want to control your life; Most Republicans belong to the "leave us alone," coalition (that includes you too, whatever color, creed or music you like)

My question: Will Democrats allow you to dance whatever you want? Or will they continue to silence the opposition?

I started in Mid March of 2006, I've grown, as has the Valley. (Please hit the Tip Jar to celebrate!)

To celebrate, I am going to promote some more Goth Muses -- this from the great Hammer Horror Film beauties. Hammer Films has also reconstituted this year.

What were Hammer Films?

Launched in 1934, Hammer's first production was The Public Life Of Henry The Ninth and, following a period of inactivity during WW2, the first picture from the newly incorporated Hammer Film Productions Ltd. was 1949's Dr. Morelle: The Case Of The Missing Heiress. The new company's first colour film was The Men Of Sherwood Forest in 1954, and in 1955 the success of The Quatermass Xperiment led to Hammer's move into horror films including The Curse Of Frankenstein in 1957 and Dracula in 1958.

A hugely successful run of Gothic monster movies cemented the company's reputation as 'Hammer House of Horror', and deals with Universal Studios and Columbia kept the production base at Bray Studios busy with an incredible volume of films produced during this period.

And Hammer Horror is known for their Beauties, tonight, I want celebrate with pictures of the Great Caroline Munro.

Newt Rises, Romney Falls and Paul is 0 -3 -- The Message of South Carolina

Speaker Gingrich's Victory Speech(SC 2012)

In Republican Presidential Primaries, South Carolina is the firewall that separates the "Real," candidates from the posers. Santorum, Romney and Gingrich are real -- Paul and his advocates could not win in a military, Conservative state. Time for him to go.

There are many messages coming from the Left on "why," Gingrich won. Those ideas harken back to Fort Sumter and forget that Martain Luther King existed. For a smart party, the Left can be pretty stupid. (Keep reading, I will write about this subject this week).

Paul has not won Iowa, New Hampshire or South Carolina. Santorum has Iowa, Romney, New Hampshire and Gingrich, South Carolina. And Florida is closed, REPUBLICAN Primary and Paul has absconded. Hmmm.....

And if Gingrich moves ahead, he is not a Social Conservative, that makes things interesting.

Doctor Who -- Creature from the Pit

Should the CRP or RPLAC back Hollywood or Silicon Valley over SOPA/PIPA?

When the Internet Blackout occurred over SOPA/PIPA -- I realized it was a battle between Old and New technologies.

A battle that is taking place on OUR battlefields -- RPLAC and the California Republican Party can take a stand here. And since I also have been on the Hill, I can also make a suggestion for how the DC GOP can win while Silicon Valley and Hollywood battles it out.

To quote the General of the Army of Davids, "Heh,"

An Unexpected Party

SOPA is the Stop Online Piracy Act (or HR 3261). It is designed to extend copyright laws into the Inter tubes, so places like YouTube, Blogs and other places cannot stream anything.

This bill was crafted for the Old technologies based in Hollywood.

PIPA is the Protect IP Act (or SB 968) and like its brother in the House [SOPA], it seeks to limit streaming of music, TV or movies across the internet.

This being an election year, it will not pass -- there will be too much pressure from Google and Wikipedia (and other sites) to put a break on it. (Thank G-d!).

This is the first major battle between Hollywood and Silicon Valley.

For now, the Hollywood donors to President Obama are complaining (yet, these Liberals are the 1% -- why is there poverty still in Hollywood? Also, if you want Republicans on your side, why did the MPAA hire controversial Democratic Senator Chris Dodd? )

Now is the time for we in the Southland and biggest State in the Union to use stratagems to fight this battle.

Inside Information

If you notice, these chapter titles are from- the Hobbit - or the sub-title: There and Back Again. Our first stop is to the Republicans in Congress and to the Americans for tax reform to meet with Grover Norquist. The eagle flies east.

If we had the ear of Speaker Boehner, Majority Leader Eric Cantor, House Judiciary Chair Lamar Smith and Ways and Means Chair Dave Camp, I would tell them: STOP! (just like William Buckley standing athwart history). This can be done better with a Republican Senate majority and a Republican White House.

What's the plan, man?

First, let's look back at how little Bilbo Baggins handled Smaug:

The gaining of power is about the using of Power (look how Senator Reid used his power of the Senate to block Bush nominees; And then look how President Obama went against the Senate using the same tactics -- that, ladies and gentlemen is Power.).

I would like to ask Grover Norquist if in his proposal not to raise taxes on the American Public, if there can be a loophole to raise taxes on those who don't support the Right. Say, Hollywood moguls, Oscar winners and musicians who rail against Republicans on all their platforms.

And if Norquist makes it so, why shouldn't the Hill (Republican Majority House and Senate) follow?

Now, the Eagle flies West.

The Gathering of the Clouds

California, and Los Angeles are the edge of the frontier and the beginning of the ocean. Our Eagle lands on top of the Santa Monica Pier, where, looking East down Colorado Boulevard (and other parts of Santa Monica) sees a collection of new and old media. Google and Yahoo are here; So is Bruckheimer films and MTV.

Old and New Media land in RPLAC's backyard and the CRP's. They also have Silicon Valley to look after as well.

As I said before, Politics, that includes Governing, is about Power. Use it to help your friends and hurt your foes.

Thanks to modern technology, we can see how much the folks in the Hollywood Hills (Industry types) give to the GOP (either locally or nationally)....

In 2010, the zip code 90046 gave 78% to Democrats and again, 78% for Democrats in the 2012 cycle.

Should RPLAC, CRP or the DC GOP support Hollywood philosophically when they won't even donate to our candidates? Big fat NO.

In Silicon Valley, there are Venture Capitalists -- RPLAC and CAGOP must show them by backing us, we lead forward to the future. Before we go to Silicon Valley for funds, RPLAC and CAGOP must put out a statement allowing the Hollywood types to invest in their local GOP. If we show the outreached hand, Hollywood will look the fools.

If they refuse, northward we go!

The Last Stage

This election season, there must be discussions here in Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, Sacramento and DC -- if we want Power, we must be unafraid of using it. I wrote this using New technology and I still haven't gotten invited to an opening night screening yet (If you're nice to this Gothy Republican and his candidates, I might listen and help Hollywood's woes!)

My questions: Why should Republicans help Hollywood with their Copyright issues when they speak loudly against us? and, Why are Republicans in Congress and the White House afraid of using their legal powers to attack Democratic allies?

Ron Paul Supporters in Los Angeles: Fish or Cut Bait!

The first time I heard about the Ron Paul supporters here in LA, they were engaged in a lawsuit against the last RPLAC Board. (They still owe the funds back to RPLAC today after they lost).

The second time I dealt with Ron Paul supporters, they cheated at the CRP Convention Straw Poll (same figures from above). [NOTE: The RPLAC Straw Poll was handled professionally by both RPLAC and Paul Supporters].

Now, as we enter Election 2012, there is an issue I need to bring up to the Los Angeles Ron Paul Supporters, Fish or Cut Bait!

Rep. Paul (note, not Governor Paul) has gone on record as saying he would not vote for the future GOP nominee against President Obama.. Many Paul supporters have taken that same tack.

And to top it off, a Paul supporter is directly pushing Anti-Israel/ Anti-Semitism videos into the public sphere. And it is Dani Rascon of the 61st ADC is the one pushing these videos forward as a Paul Supporter.

Let me quote from Republican Party Animals:

"Danielle “Dani” Rascon is a Central Committee member of the Republican Party of Los Angeles County (RPLAC), and the chair of its 61st Assembly District. Although she is a GOP official, she is a Paulist first and foremost (she was a precinct captain for the 2008 Paul presidential campaign). She doesn’t flinch from letting people know that if Paul bolts the GOP for a third-party run, she’ll follow.

My late father had a saying: Fish or Cut Bait. It meant if you were planning on taking Vienna, take Vienna.

If the Paul Supporters in Los Angeles County want any recognition and support for their windmills, they must do three things:

1) Kick out any Anti Israel/Anti Semitism from their own ranks. If William F. Buckley, the father of Modern Conservatism could do it, so can Ron Paul (and any local Paul supporter who will take the lead -- I will promote any Paul Supporter who is actively doing this in the Southland).

2) If Paul loses the nomination for 2012, I would like to hear before the August Convention (actually, I'd like to hear it RIGHT NOW without threading any needle) that you will help defeat President Obama by supporting the Republican Candidate and not take your ball and go home;

3) If Ron Paul supporters are really about Libertarianism and not a Cult of Personality, find local candidates to support and fund as well. Obamabots and Paulbots are the same people.

If you need an example of how Conservatism Hates Anti-Semites, let me introduce you to William F. Buckley:

But the transposition of this into the position that U.S. policies are formulated because they bear directly on Israeli interests is invention. My question: Who has done more for Los Angeles Conservatives, Buckley supporters or Paul Supporters?

That's always the problem with a little violence. You know what happened the other day, and the press dealt only with the window-breaking. I read the articles. They very seldom got around to mentioning the fact that one thousand, three hundred sanitation workers were on strike, and that Memphis is not being fair to them, and that Mayor Loeb is in dire need of a doctor. They didn't get around to that.

Now these are some practical things we can do. We begin the process of building a greater economic base. And at the same time, we are putting pressure where it really hurts. I ask you to follow through here.

And then I got to Memphis. And some began to say the threats, or talk about the threats that were out. What would happen to me from some of our sick white brothers?

Martin Luther King talked of individual freedom and Economic freedom -- the freedom to do and be in America whatever you wanted to be. Voting Rights and respectability came from the Civil Rights Movement.

Think about what happened to Herman Cain and Justice Thomas.

Any person in poverty is not free, neither is keeping the State in the way of creating jobs.

And in lieu of the Democrats, if you oppose Alfonzo Rachel, then you too are a racist.

My support of Freedom House is simply about wanting all men (and women) should be free.

My question: Is there racism today? If yes, how is it fixed? If not, where was the Tipping Point?

The County with the Most Republicans in the USA!

To my Fellow Central Committee and RPLAC members from the greatest County (and City) in the world:

First of all, can I say that we have a great group of people who are working on all level from the Assembly District Committees to the CRP?

As this is a Presidential Election year, we need to move yesterday on getting funds, finding support and breaking through the only city where TV, movies and music is the full time job, not just the enjoyment of, our cities population.

First, click this link of our rising stars. Without them, our leaders cannot get things done.

And before I go any further, my Goth GOP group (Right in the Dark) will have our first meeting in the Miracle Mile on January 28. Dress in Black and we'll be able to promote our cause. See me and I'll tell you how.

Now, the most important thing, we RPLAC members must do tomorrow is make the transition from a solitary Chair to full team to occur by Acclimation. This is election season, we must get started today.

Gary Aminoff for 1st Vice Chair. My mentor, a good friend and "Mr. Republican," himself for us Californians (I still would back a Governor Aminoff run any day). If you don't know his background, let me show you:

Now we come to Maureen Johnson, for Second Vice Chair. a fellow New Yorker like myself, she has worked her tail off getting the Westside to become a battlefield (and kudos from the Valley to Robert Pederson for keeping it alive with the Westside Republicans).

She is a fighter and a doer. Again, someone that RPLAC would be honored to have in a leadership capacity. Here is her bio:

Maureen was appointed West Los Angeles Regional Chair for several campaigns including Rudy Guiliani for President. As West Los Angeles Regional Chair for McCain/Palin, Maureen opened a major headquarters operation in West Los Angeles. She also worked as West Los Angeles Chair for Steve Poizner.

Maureen was appointed West Los Angeles Regional Chair by the Republican Party of Los Angeles County and is now Volunteer Co-Chair for Los Angeles County.

Most recently, Maureen ran the Northern half of the 36^th Congressional District for Craig Huey for Congress.

Maureen's expertise with campaigns encompasses strategy, producing major GOTV volunteer operations and candidate presentations at fairs and community gatherings as well as candidate development.

Maureen belongs to many Republican organizations such as the National Federation of Republican Women as well as their Los Angeles Chapter; San Fernando Valley Republican Club; Hollywood Congress of Republicans; Beach Cities Republican Club; Westside Republicans to name a few. Maureen also serves as a Vice Chair for Westside Republicans.

Maureen is now in the process of opening a Westchester/Del Rey Republican Club, which will cover Westchester, Marina del Rey, Playa del Rey, Playa Vista and other outlying areas.

For Assistant Secretary, we have Susan Kennedy. I don't know her personally, but if Gary and Maureen are on the same ticket, we should support her. here is her bio:

With a group of classmates, she cut school one chilly day in January 1953 to visit Washington where they stood in the rain to watch Dwight Eisenhower take his first oath of office. By the time Ike ran for a second term, Susan was in Texas, where a residence issue kept her from being able to register and vote. From here, the family moved abroad to Japan, where in 1959, Susan tried vainly to register for the 1960 election. When the critical election between JFK and Nixon rolled around, Susan was in Los Angeles. At that time, election law required a one-year residence to register, which left Susan in the cold again. In 1961, an off year for elections, Susan went out of her way to go to the Registrar's office to insure she would never again lose her franchise and has been continuously registered since.

A few years later, she trained to become a deputy registrar, a position that has been eliminated by the introduction of register-by-mail and motor-voter programs.

During the 60s and 70s, she was active with LA County Young Republicans and worked on Ed Reineke's congressional campaign. As a Central Committee member, she worked on various campaigns for the 2010 election and the city election early in 2011. Susan serves as secretary for her Assembly District Central Committee and also for RPLAC's Bylaws and Rules Committee.

Having lived abroad, Susan is keenly aware of foreign policy issues. She is a constitutional scholar and a firm believer in the rule of law. On a civil literacy test on line, where the general public scores about 49% and elected public officials score an abysmal 44%, Susan aced the test at 100%.

Now retired, Susan pioneered the field of word processing, becoming something of a computer expert in the process. An English major with study in several foreign languages, Susan is a capable writer and grammarian. Thanks to a lifelong interest in the theater, Susan had the fortune while in Japan to work as a disk jockey on a Japanese radio network. She continues developing those speaking skills through membership in the RPLAC-sponsored James Madison Toastmasters organization. Most of her work career has been in the legal field, which gives her valuable insight to the law and the values that she believes should be held by those seeking public office.

And finally, for Assistant Treasurer, Arturo Alas. Again, I don't know him yet, but he looks to be a rising star. Here is his bio:

Arturo E. Alas III is 30 years old and was born and raised in Los Angeles County. As a youth, he had the opportunity to represent that US in several international competitions for soccer which in turn earned him a scholarship to Sonoma State University. After one year at Sonoma State several international scouts approached Arturo from various countries in Latin America to play soccer abroad. Since it was his goal to play professional soccer, he accepted the offer. As a result, Arturo had the great opportunity to live and work in Mexico, Central America, and South America, where he was able to absorb the different cultures, as well as share the culture of the United States. Consequently, his experience living in Latin America has given him the tools to communicate and understand the largest growing electorate in the United States.

After a knee injury ended his professional athletic aspirations, he returned home to Southern California and began a career as a business professional. Since that time, he has had an opportunity to work in the insurance industry as a top producing life insurance sales agent. Arturo later expanded on this experience and became involved in the real estate business, where he started as a loan officer and in time became an investor. Currently, he is a real estate agent working in the greater Los Angeles area in both residential and commercial properties.

As assistant treasurer, Arturo is prepared to vigorously scrutinize all our financial operations and make sure they are in lock step with the purpose and objectives of this committee. His background and experience in insurance and real estate have given him the opportunity to know what it takes to run a business. He has never let anything obstruct his pursuit of meeting personal goals and he knows that a balanced budget is essential to a well-oiled business.

The Valley endorses these great Men and Women of Los Angeles. Let's vote them in by acclimation so we can win in 2012!

If Monies, Volunteers and Time is invested in flipping Los Angeles from City Council to the US House of Representatives, 55 Electoral Votes go to the next Republican President!

In my sci-fi geekiness, I have only seen one Red Dwarf episode, and that was "White Hole,"

The "White Hole", episode trebled my geekiness factor because it dealt with Time Travel issues, intelligent (and not so intelligent) AI's and toast.

"So, what is it?"

What does this epsiode have to do with Romney's wins in Iowa and New Hampshire?

Let's roll back and look at Romney's Iowa's numbers in 2008:

Now, Iowa, 2012:

After 4 years, after Iowa (and the rest of the Republicans) got to know Romney, he only gained 66 votes.

Romney's staff is Meg Whitman's staff. Meg Whitman's strategy was to buy up the primary, but she had no clue how to fight in the general and California lost.

I await the day that Romney visits RPLAC, the SFVRC or the Westside Republicans. Hint: Whitman, in the primary, thought these organizations were unimportant, so will Romney.

If Romney cannot handle attacks from Speaker Gingrich on Bain Capital, how will handle 1% charges by President Obama?

Romney has a habit of not defending Republicans that do not stand by him (i.e Governor Palin, Alaska 2009 and Chairman Steele 2010) -- if he wins, he will follow the Whitman routine. Do we really need another Country Club Republican who cannot fight against the Left?

Senator McCain was a moderate republican, how much support from the media did he get? Romney will fall into the same trap (as did Whitman).

If Romney wins (and buys up) the Primary, President Obama wins a second term. Do not doubt me.

History is repeating itself, with voters forgetting the causality of going "Electable," (Hint: Senator Kerry was considered "Electable," by Democrats in 2004) Let's not fall into this White Hole.

My question: What can we "Local Yokels," and Bloggers do to stop the Romney juggernaut? .

The Valley Endorses Speaker Gingrich and Governor Palin for 2012

On the eve of Iowa, I endorse for 2012 Speaker Gingrich and Governor Sarah Palin.

If you are a reader of the Valley, you know I endorsed Governor Palin here (and asked people to write her name in here to stop Romney).

But reality intervened and I was asked to endorse those who are already on the ticket.

It was a matter of cutting out those who can't from those who know and Speaker Gingrich can fight politically and work with the Congress since he was a long time member of that branch.

The last Speaker elected to the Presidency was Polk; Gingrich understands the political fight the Democrats and media have in store for the General (as does Palin) and he is an ideas guy who can bring America into the 21st Century.

Now, here's why I came to Gingrich:

Gov. Gary Johnson: As a Social Libertarian, I was impressed with his background and views (and that he balanced budgets in his state). But the moment he jumped to the Libertarian Party and endorsed Ron Paul. I had to decline my support.

Rep. Ron Paul: He never Governed a State; He never led a Federal Agency. His foreign policy is good for pre-World war II America and some of the Paulbots scare me. So, bye-bye

Governor Perry: One Texas Governor a generation thank you. One state should not have a hold on the Presidency (the New Englenders time has come and gone as well). Plus Governor Perry is a Social Conservative; It does not mix well with my Gothy instincts.

Rep Bachmann: A fire breather in the House of Representatives and a Social Conservative; Not up my alley.

Senator Santorum: I met him at the SFVRC. Nice guy, but another Social Conservative. Not an executive or leader.

Governor Romney: The "Moderate," Establishment Choice. Backed by Meg Whitman staff who cared not one whit about the "locals," Romney never defends any other Republican under fire; he never ran for re-election after Romneycare. NO. HELL NO.

Herman Cain: Dropped out before I could make the choice.

And here are my reasons for Speaker Gingrich:

1) Since he was a Speaker, he knows the different Congressional Districts to fight in. He is smart enough to understand that by flipping Los Angeles (with funds and supporters), there are 55 Electoral votes. And if you read the Ambition and the Power; Gingrich understands the media.

2) Speaker Gingrich knows from his time in DC, the best people to hire. No one hired by the Speaker ever sold him out. He has core ideas and ideals and he is willing to fight for them. The best Presidents don't follow polls, they follow ideals.

3) Good economy in the 90's? Thank your Republican Congress that Clinton signed the Bills to make it go.

The Valley approves this message.

But simple things like treating others how you want to be treated does not work with people who think they know everything about everything. There is an unpublished post that has all HIS secrets. Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina: How to save the Republic (and Republicans) in One Move

The Earth spins and some months have more important spins then others.

In a few days, the Iowa caucuses begins and then comes the New Hampshire and finally the South Carolina Primary.

Or, in other words, Welcome to Primary Election 2012!

The Iowa caucuses are under attack from the Occupy Movement and others who want to put their hands on the scales.

Because I know Iowans and New Hampshirites are pragmatic and smart (hence, they are the first in the nation every four years), there is a way for them to strike a blow for "Local Yokels," over Establishment Republicans (like National Review -- not reliable Wm. F. Buckley Conservatives).

Iowa

First in the Nation!

The great thing about the Iowa caucuses is that they are run by their local County leaders. Yay!

In the mix of Iowa are Social Conservatives who can go for Senator Santorum (RS McCain's favorite candidate) -- but might I suggest those in the Straw poll write in Governor Sarah Palin?

I trust you folks in Iowa; While Democrats and Republican Establishment types want to break your Caucus -- I say, you earned it.

And might I suggest every Iowa Party Representative check voter names at the door. Zombie Occupiers and Vampire establishment types will try to disrupt.

The Iowa caucus is important.

Please write in "Governor Sarah Palin," in all 99 Counties.

New Hampshire

First Primary in the nation!

To the First Primary people, I know you're going to vote for your favorite Son, Governor Romney (we're not big fans of him here in California because he hired Meg Whitman's staff). However, for those who want to break the tide, write in Governor Sarah Palin.

Again, please write in Governor Sarah Palin.

And if you see DatechGuy in your neck of the woods, get him a Fez!

South Carolina

Even though we here in the Southland have little sway in the Republican party, I know you folks in the Carolina's do.

Just like I told the Iowans and New Hampshirites, please write in Governor Sarah Palin.

Why do this?

Here are my three reasons,:

She is not caught on video throughout the multiple debates. I live in LA; And if you do not know what AVID is, let me put it simply: The White House, Democrats and their Media allies can edit all of those debates as they see fit. Again, by not participating, no one can attack Palin's words or edit them.
The Left and their media allies have attacked her person, her Governorship and her family. To be crude here, they have "shot their wad," in attacking her. She still stands. The other candidates (save for Speaker Newt) have no idea how the media will play handmaiden to the Obama Administration next year. She was in the line of fire -- she survived. Help her.
The Establishment Republicans want a Moderate Republican. That Moderate republican is Governor Romney (with his Meg Whitman staff). In 08, the Republicans put forth a Moderate named Senator McCain and he got no support from the same media that wails: Where are the Moderate republicans? This year, trust not the establishment. Write in Governor Sarah Palin.

My final message:

Please write in Governor Sarah Palin in your State. She can win a general.

Romney is McCain writ large.

My question: Who do you plan to support this Primary season?

Would You Care for Some Tea? How the Tea Party Beat #OccupyWallStreet

As I am a Doctor Who fan, we have to start with this video:

Now that winter's coming and Election 2012 is rising, we can look back and laugh at the Occupy crowds.

The Tea Party has them beat for the next few cycles. Why?

Let's start with The Daily Show's take first:

For a group that cares about the "99%" I'm not hearing solutions for the "99%,"

From the news of the Occupy Oakland, it seemed it was not about the Middle Class but causing riots; In Occupy LA, its not about the poor, but about owning the real estate in front of City Hall (for free!).

Meanwhile, in Election 2010, the tea Party groups got organized and took over the local levels of the GOP (seen here in Los Angeles in many places).

Anyone can get to a Tea Party event, you didn't need a tent.

And ironically, the Left who spent two decades complaining about Social Conservatives could not stand these Fiscal Conservatives. Conservatives come in a few flavors, hating on both makes you a plain Hater -- not a partisan who can things done.

When you call for a Jacobin Revolution, the words of John Lennon need to ring forth:

"You say you got a real solution
Well you know
We'd all want to see the plan
You ask me for a contribution
Well you know
We're all doing what we can
But if you want money for people with minds that hate
All I can tell you is brother you'll have to wait."

During the time of Occupy, I didn't see new people (i.e. Independents and Republicans) join up, I saw the same folks who spent 8 years Hating (there's that word again) President Bush over Saddam Hussein. (Side question: Where were the anti war protesters during the rush to war without Congressional Authorization with Libya? Hypocrites)

The Tea Party movement brought in independents and Democrats who questioned "Where was their Government going?" No revolutions here, just people who wanted their Government to not Overreach. That's it.

Time magazine (the folks who hired Anti Bush, Anti Palin and Anti Israel writer Fareed Zakaria) decided to make this year's Person of the Year, the Protester.

Daleks have more capability to create things then the Occupy crowd (yes, the Daleks are fictional but the Truth remains what have the Occupiers done for the 99%? Anything? Bueller?). The Tea Partiers changed the Republican party back to a Fiscal Conservative one -- the Occupiers were pawns of President Obama.

Yes, pawns. let me show you:

"About a quarter of the $18 million Romney raised in the second quarter came from the financial sector, while 4.4 percent of the $48 million Obama's campaign raised came from that group, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

Wall Street money has been moving away from Obama and Democrats since 2010, in part fueled by Obama's harsh criticism of banks and financial overhaul legislation he signed last year, which banks say is burdensome."

Something Liberals and Media do not understand: We on the Right support the flow of Commerce. Turn on KPFK and hear what Liberals really think about business. Hint: They don't support them.

I await the day the Occupy folks actually do something for the poor, while the Tea Party is taking Government off of people's back.

Maybe the Occupiers can find where the Anti-war protesters went?

My question: Why do the Occupy people want to attack business' rather then President Obama? Are they in his pocket?

Reflections from Birthday 41 -- and Three Passings

I'm lucky to have good friends (Goths, Politicos and Bloggers) and a great family;

I'm happy that I have a Code of Honor that helps keep my head above water in a business (Politics) that can turn on a dime;

I'm blessed that I have the Power to Write and express my views in a place (The Valley) that people see and like;

I'm happy to live in Los Angeles and to give my fellow Republicans and Conservatives a leg up to do the (somewhat) impossible: Flip this City from Blue to Red;

I'm lucky that I have understood my Genius/Madness gene and used it to my advantage;

Who sits in the William F. Buckley Chair of Conservatism?

It seems since William Buckley died, there have been a few figures who want to decide who gets to be a Conservative.

Here's a hint that you are not William F. Buckley material (riffing off of Jeff Foxworthy's "You might be a Redneck if..."):

1) If you think your Conservatism is the ONLY Conservatism in existence and use that to support Anti-Israel, Liberal Democratic Presidents -- YOU ARE NOT A CONSERVATIVE. (Andrew Sullivan);

2) If you spend your time writing Anti Republican pieces in Magazines that have never supported Republicans under fire -- YOU ARE NOT A CONSERVATIVE (David Frum);

3) If you never campaigned (either walking or calling) for a Republican candidate or never built a coalition for a Republican idea then write who should or should not be a Communicator for the Right (and also support Anti Israel writers such as Andrew Sullivan) -- YOU ARE NOT A CONSERVATIVE (Conor Friedersdorf)

4) If you write a column in a newspaper that has not endorsed Republicans for President since the 1950's, YOU ARE NOT A CONSERVATIVE (David Brooks)

And finally:

5) If your career as a Republican Columnist is about attacking other Republicans, YOU ARE NOT A CONSERVATIVE (Kathleen Parker and Jennifer Rubin)

So, who deserves to sit in the William F. Buckley Chair for Conservatism?

Here are a few basics that we Conservatives should look for:

A) William Buckley ran for office. Yes, he lost, but he put his views out there. Anyone who wants to sit in judgement of other members of the Right cannot be a journalist, but a candidate first.

B) Buckley spent his life, loving (in his first book) and supporting America (in the CIA), expats need not apply. The American culture has something few expats understand -- hence why Sullivan and Frum are on the outs. If you are an expat in politics, 95% of the time, you work for the Democrats (but with Frum and Sullivan, that's a given)

C) If you are not a communicator (i.e. Rush, Levin or Hannity), come up with a better show or leave them alone. Every party needs Fire Breathers, they provide a role so those in the trenches of politics can do their job. Heck, Buckley supported Rush.

D) If you are a candidate or on a candidates staff and dis the Conservative new media, you are not a candidate worth voting for. Buckley saw the rise of Talk radio and brought the Establishment behind this New Media. Where are the funders for DaTechGuy, RS McCain or even the Valley? Romney, not a Conservative, nor worthy of the chair.

E) Final thing: Support the "local Yokels," on the ground. That is where the Election battles play out. If we here in Los Angeles and California can have people fund our Party Structures, a new battlefront will open up.

Even the Ghost of William Buckley can support that.

But, wait! I hear the audience chirping, why doesn't JSF take the Chair?

Simple, that is not my role. The person who sits in the WFB Chair must have support from candidates, Bloggers, activists and Staffers. I am not that person.

(I want to flip Los Angeles and California and then work on the Hill for an California Congressman or woman doing Appropriations work -- then write books and lobby. Thus, I cannot ascend to the Chair.)

My question: Who should be nominated for the William F. Buckley Chair for Conservatism? Tell me why and what their support base is.

Three Questions for Ron Paul Supporters

I have not chosen my candidate yet.

But I do have questions for Ron Paul supporters.

My rules are simple: answer the 3 questions, stay on topic, and explain why I should support your candidate.

Ready, let's go!

1) Earlier this year, Rep. Paul said if we was not the Republican nominee for President, he would not vote any other nominee for that position. I have already detailed how Rep. Paul has gone against President Reagan -- my question is simple: Will you follow Rep. Paul and go against the Republican nominee if he is not the nominee? Why should any Republican follow your lead when loyalty counts little to him?

Find me quotes by Paul Election staffers that contradict that. And tell me what you will do this November 2012.

2) I am a Jew and I believe whomever is President, Israel needs to supported against the many enemies from the Muslim Brotherhood to Hamas -- President Obama has already shown his back to the Israelis, will Rep. Paul support our First Democratic Ally in the Middle East? Or will he follow President Obama's lead?

When you answer this, I need Congressional record and campaign statements please. (With quotes and dates, thank you)

3) For Republicans to win in 2012, funds and people must be invested. To flip California, the GOP must work in Los Angeles (and give funds to CRP and RPLAC) -- will Rep. Paul support Republican candidates here in the LA basin whether he is the nominee or not?

Don't tell me that "Rep. Paul has plans...," Link and quote them.

OK Paul people, convince me!

Even though the Santa Ana winds struck me with "Bloggers Writers Block," I still try to write. The serious post: American Dystopia, is still being written.

We are inching closer to my Birthday (and Iowa caucus Time), so I am prepping for next year.

Tonight, enjoy Destiny of the Daleks!

Four things to note: Look at the Movellens -- this episode was done in 1980, so yeah, very Ziggy Stardust.

And two, Lalla Ward who plays Romana II used to be married to Tom Baker (Fourth Doctor) and is now married to Richard Dawkins. (Dawkins was in "The Stolen Earth," )

What the Democrats Forgot, Republicans Learned

(or why the Democrats will never regain the New Deal Coalition ever again)

What Modern Democrats never say

I touched on this issue a few months back. But, this article highlights something I've been saying:

"For decades, Democrats have suffered continuous and increasingly severe losses among white voters. But preparations by Democratic operatives for the 2012 election make it clear for the first time that the party will explicitly abandon the white working class.

"All pretense of trying to win a majority of the white working class has been effectively jettisoned in favor of cementing a center-left coalition made up, on the one hand, of voters who have gotten ahead on the basis of educational attainment — professors, artists, designers, editors, human resources managers, lawyers, librarians, social workers, teachers and therapists — and a second, substantial constituency of lower-income voters who are disproportionately African-American and Hispanic."

It doesn't matter about the Republican nominee this minute, just the fact that the Democrats will not retain Congress longer then half a decade. The "Boston-Austin," connection is gone. Democrats had a 40 year Majority that ended in 1994 and they are still whinging about it.

The Modern Democrats are like Al Bundy, "I scored FOUR TOUCHDOWNS IN A SINGLE GAME for Polk High!!"

The Democrats USED to be supportive of Free Speech. Not anymore. The Democrats USED to support Democracy Overseas. Tell that to the Bush fils Administration. The Democrats USED to be a "Party of the people," but now they look down upon Wal-mart shoppers and women who rose from PTA to Governors. (Such as this Blogger)

Unfortunately, with the advent of the Inter tubes, people can see the actions belie the rhetoric (click all the links in the above paragraph, my point is more then proven).

If the Occupy Movement was really about the "people," (I listen to KPFK talk about how they are from "the people," too. Ha!), they would give up their tents, their human microphones (what a way to lose your humanity!) and their tinkle fingers. But they won't. (Look at Occupy LA)

If the Occupy Movement was truly serious, it would come up with solutions other then "We hate Capitalism and banks!"

When the tea party happened, the Left called us all sorts of names and accused everyone involved of anything and everything. It turned out the tea party waved American Flags high and loved America whomever was in charge. The anti-war protesters HATED Bush and were shown how hypocritical they are over Libya (Rush to war with NO Congressional authorization. Hypocrites).

Here is picture perfect example of the difference between the two groups and why the new Deal Coalition is flagging:

So, the Democrats attack the older voters, the blue class voters and some of us pale folk. Fine.

All three of these groups vote in most every election. The Democrats used to be a "Party of the people," The last time the Democrats ran a non-Ivy league for POTUS was 1965. The last time the Republicans ran a non-Ivy league was 1984. Think on that, my Democratic friends. And if Palin decides to get in late and wins, she will be the first non-Ivy since 1984.

The new Deal Coalition created by FDR was about helping every man, woman and child rise. Truman, JFK and LBJ subscribed to that theory. The New Deal Coalition were proud to be American no matter who was in office (yes, the Democrats had the run of Washington, but there was President Eisenhower and Democrats even stood with Ike during the Cold war -- as Republicans did with low polling Truman.)

Contrary to American myth, the Democrats forgot about "the people," and Republicans aren't really about the ultra rich (look at the voting records of Beverly Hills and Malibu and tell me that the GOP is supported by the Rich. I dare you)

Most of the Democratic legislators are as old as the New Deal, whereas within the GOP, young activists rise faster.

When Republicans talk about "the people," we respect them. No matter what. If the voters vote against us, we don't whing about (see 1960, 1964), we prepare for the next election.

The thing every campaigner should know for 2012: Republicans trust the people, Democrats look down upon them. See 1984 and 1965 for precedent.

My question: Why did the Democrats give up on "the people?" And why does Occupy care more about tents then putting people to work?
