Web designing is very interesting.Basic information on designing web interfaces is:

1.Usability
Web usability is an approach to make it easier for an end-user to be able to use a web page without any specialised training.The user should be able to relate actions he needs to perform on the page with other interactions he sees in the domain i.e., pressing a button to lead to an action.

2.Accessibility
Web accessibility means that all people including those with disabilities can use a web page.It means that web users with disabilities can comprehend, understand, navigate, and interact with the web page, and that at the same time can contribute to the web.

3.Information architecture
Information architecture is the art of figuring out what you want to do with you web page and constructing a blueprint before getting down to the real work.

The above mentioned points are the major basic information to look at before designing any web page.Now, what next?

The next step is to learn the basics of PHP syntax: PHP script embedded in HTML, PHP data types, range of variables, operators, functions.To learn the above the following must be put into coonsideration:

PHP,Hypertext Preprocessor, HTML embedded language for creating dynamic web pages. Meaning,once a web page has been created with PHP and HTML,the server processes the PHP commands and then sends the results to the visitor's browser when the visitor opens the page.
