I’ve discovered a new passion for art in recent months and some new mediums that seem to suit me way more than I realised. POSCA paint pens have become my recent and new love, they’re so quick and easy and suit my cartoon style down to the ground. I also now have a graphics tablet which I’ve been using to sketch a bit, that’s rather pleasant to use also. Bear in mind these mediums are new to me, but please see images to get an idea of the potential at least.

Monster Artwork Challenge

I saw a challenge on YouTube by Jazza the artist about creating a monster based on dice rolls, so I’ve decided to create one of these myself, roughly based on the limited guidance in the YouTube video (can’t remember which video) as the actual challenge is a Tik Tok challenge and I refuse to use Tik Tok at the moment, I don’t approve until they can sort out some of the very dodgy content that ends up on there.

Who Remembers Squidoo?

I used to have a Squidoo account, many lenses later I was a happy blogger, it led me to blog here in the end as I wanted to process a lot of content but from a personal perspective.

Anyway, I now discover it’s run by hubpages (which it has been since 2014, I did wonder) and so I’ve started changing some of my articles or old lenses to see what comes of them. Here's one of them

Dominos Pizza

I don’t often order Dominos Pizza 🍕 any more, for a variety of reasons, but I took the plunge again last night and regret it again this morning. Don’t get me wrong, their pizzas are amazing, their garlic pizza bread is a family favourite and those chicken kickers are astounding! Flavoursome awesomeness!

The rub lies in the following day when we all have various types of poorly stomach, turns out even my 10 month old (who only had one crust from the garlic bread) had diarrhoea this morning.

It’s not just one pizzeria either. I’ve lived in a variety of places and ordered in from a variety of stores. They can’t all be giving us food poisoning, right?

It’s not the gluten, we all eat bread and a variety wheat based pasta and other gluten rich foods and we’re all ok.

It’s not the dairy, we all eat cheese, well, us adults do in my family, very regularly, my son used to have a dairy intolerance (he’s 10 years old now), but he seems to have grown out of his dairy problems and has cheese on occasion and also the odd glass of milk. My 10 month old can have mild cheese if it’s cooked and she’s ok with that usually too. The cheese in the pizza we purchase from Dominos tends to be mozzarella (correct me if I’m wrong), which is a mild cheese, right? So it wouldn’t be that.

We’ve also regularly ordered from other pizzerias in the past and they’re all ok for us all, even our children, even if we have it cold or heated the following day. Often these places may have a lower hygiene rating than Dominos, how does this make any sense?

So, my main reason for this post is; what is it about Dominos Pizza specifically that causes such a nasty stomach reaction the next morning?

Hey all,

I know this is a bit different to my usual posts but I had a strange experience a couple of days ago (21st December, yes the great conjunction). I was laying in bed, (remember this is during lockdown), I saw a strange light around the bedroom curtains. Too bright to be a car and there hasn’t been any cars all evening anyway, couldn’t hear any. Equally the garage opposite which is the only place that sort of intense light may have come from, was closed as it was pretty late (gone midnight). Anyway, I mused a little about the light and then started hearing someone talking to me and in the room next to me sat a humanoid figure on the bed, where my partner was snoring away.

They were saying they were Pleidian shapeshifters, then changed to a less human but still humanoid image, then shifted into a oddly shaped purple mass and told me everything is going to be alright and to trust my instinct, to share the information with those willing to accept it, which I am duly doing.

The light then disappeared as fast as it had appeared. It was about 20 mins later. I felt extremely peaceful as I stared at the curtains wondering if it was imagination (it wasn’t, I was way too awake either side of the visitation). The then fell into a restful sleep, I’ve been sleeping better and better ever since, waking up ready for the day very quickly and leaping into action.

Comments welcome, I’m prepared for a barrage of people saying how impossible this is, but this was my experience as recounted the day after it happened when I told my partner about it (who accepts what’s happened as truthful). However I’ve not told my older child as it might worry or frighten him, my younger one (I only have two) is only 5 months old and it’s not totally relevant yet.

Life Changes

Wow! I’ve been a mum of two now for 2 months and I’d never been more comfortable being myself. My 10 year old is a wonderfully helpful child and my partner also takes regular responsibility, which is really great with a newborn and the exhaustion that goes with it.

Stuff Covid-19, lockdown or now, the 4 of us in a one bedroom flat isn’t ideal, yet we cope. No idea how. Properties aren’t available and come up way too expensive when they do.

Any suggestions on the property front would be great.

Mana Potion

Not that many years ago, I remember trying this awesome blue mana potion by Harcos Labs. I recall it keeping me going when I was totally exhausted and could barely carry on and it came in a funky small bottle, all very gamer/cos play. I’ve been trying to find it recently and realised that they seem to have stopped making it, even though they’re still making other, similar products, like zombie blood...

If anyone knows why they stopped making it or if you can still get it, please feel free to comment here!

I’m planning on finishing my reiki course soon and hopefully mastering distance reiki healing.

I’m thinking about studying aromatherapy for a proper certification when I have, again, comments and suggestions welcome.

Turn and Face the Strange

Just to keep all of you lovely people connected.

I’ve got a lot of changes going on, all positive, regardless of how damning they might feel having made some very difficult and bold decisions, I’ve decided that I stil like change and am happy to “turn and face the strange” that goes with it (thank you David Bowie inspired quote).

I’m buzzing with an odd exuberance as I step fearlessly into an unknown territory. I made a decision and I indent to stick to it.

I’m trying to work out where excitement comes from, I keep thinking it’s the solar plexus, but then it bounces to the heart and back again. It’s so much fun! 🤪

More information will follow as time passes and the wounds of others are licked and healed and my excitement levels calm to a dull roar...

Reiki

I’m still training as a reiki practitioner online, I’m working twice a day on self-healing using reiki, once I feel I can do this with proper ease and actually manage twice a day every day as part of my routine, my intention is to help others, the world and all living matter within her.

How do you all feel about it? Does it sound extreme? I may be one person, but if we all come together to heal everything, maybe we can raise earth’s vibration to a better state?

Hey all!

It’s been a while, but I thought I’d just share some quick thoughts with you about stuff I’ve been looking at, into and studying.

Currently learning reiki and just had my attunements on Sunday and wow! Lots of stuff is clearing, it’s like a fog lifting from my brain and being. Also cleansing my body. Suddenly I need loads of water to function at all, right from the moment I wake up, even through the night, which I’ve not done in about 10 years (the last time I tuned myself with myself).

Additionally I’ve also known for a long time that ‘time’ as we know it is a man made entity. We follow it for convenience of society, it creates order in what can be a chaotic environment. Personally I like chaos, it helps me clear stuff out, physically, mentally and spiritually. Anyway, thinking about time being a non-event, or something we view badly as a society and as human beings, I started researching dimensions, as time is considered a dimension. There are so many and I feel we live in each and every one of them with every thought and decision we make. It also explains he chaos being quantum physics at its base and basic level (see previous posts).

I shall leave you with these thoughts for now and hope you’re inspired or at least have a vague interest in something different. Enjoy your day

Little more about me...

I work part time in my local pub, which I love, it’s social plus I get paid for it.
I’m a mother of one very lively 8 year old boy.
I’m my mothers carer (she’s currently housebound but we’re working on changing that).
I like all genres of music for emotional purposes, currently rock, metal and meditation music is a main feature.
I class myself as an entrepreneur as I have several online ventures (see previous blog posts).
I believe in Universal Energy with much of this being explained by quantum physics and chaos theory.
I’m a spiritual being.
I love my family and friends, they mean so much to me.
I love my colleagues at work, they feel like a secondary family to me.
I’m an artist (see previous blog posts about 10 years ago for more info).
I can be messy and lazy.
I class myself as Pagan, but I’m open to most things and believe myself to be non-judgemental on this front.

I’m hoping this has been insightful.

Your spirit was chosen to walk on this earth, for a purpose, that purpose may never reveal itself while you’re still walking this earth, so enjoy the life you’ve chosen to live within.
Love is within and surrounding you.
We are stardust, we are Energy, follow this knowledge and you will find abundance easy to have.
Never use negatives to generate a positive eg: “I don’t want to be fat”, use; “I am thin”
Always use present terms when conversing with yourself about yourself, the past is gone, the future is unknown, the present moment is the most important one, walk it with love.
Have a gratitude attitude and thank The day for whatever it’s given you, turn those negatives into lessons learnt.

Brain-Mouth Filter...

I have a defunct brain-mouth filter, that filter that stops you saying stupid things in front of intelligent people, or swearing blindly in front of your boss. You get the idea.

Turns out, I also have a defunct universe-mouth filter. I had a full-blown conversation with someone today and had no idea what was going on until after the conversation and had to piece together what was said. I used to get messages and filter them through so I can have a regular conversation at the same time, this left me dazed enough.

All of this has indeed made me totally exhausted, so I don’t know how I’m even doing this typing. I’ve also been tidying stuff from my son away all afternoon so far...

Spirituality and the Next Generation

In a bid to teach the next generation about life, the first step is about peace, not fighting and the second is about love, not material gain. How to teach these things is a difficult task.

I watch my now 7-year-old in terror sometimes as he’s always up to punch someone, like he’s constantly angry, I think parent need to all, collectively take a grip on this and work out ways to stop or kerb that impulse, particularly in boys (sorry to sound sexist, and I know it’s not always the case).

Love is learned at home, as is monetary gain, I love watching smal children collect up their toys they no longer use and willingly give them to other children or to charity for other children.

What are your thoughts? Do you use effective techniques on your children for the aforementioned?

Channelling

This year summer solstice falls today, 21st June 2018, marking the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere. In old world tradition this means that we are being thankful for the spring and sewing of the seeds and watching them grow fruitfully, we also ask for blessings on the crops that are to come as the days grow shorter approaching winter.

I hope you all enjoy the long and potentially sunny day today in the U.K., and be thankful for the strength of the suns rays ripening our crops.

“We’re never gonna survive, unless we get a little crazy”

Sitting, waiting for my son to come out of his yoga class, of which every week he complains that he doesn’t want to go and comes out having had a great time.

So the title of this blog post is based on the song that’s on the radio while I wait which is ‘Crazy’ by Seal (also famed for singing ‘Kissed by a Rose’.

The feeling this song gives me is that you have to let go, which might seem crazy at the time, but in the long run it’ll be the best decision you’ve ever made. It’s like when a situation is changing and it scares you insane, but you know, deep down it’s the right thing to do.

I’ve never understood why people are scared of change, I relish it, never knowing what’s around the corner makes life interesting.

Changes are shifting outside the word

Hello everyone,

The title I have used today comes from a song by Annie Lennox called ‘No more I love yous’. I was just having a conversation with someone I know about the about moving from fifth dimension to working with a seventh dimension, I’m not sure how much sense this makes, but this is what is happening.

In my mind, the seventh dimension involves movement within time. Time is cyclical, not linear, when we can understand this then we can move on to a higher vibration of being, despite being around a lot of lower vibrational beings.

Recently I have discovered I have been surrounding myself with spiritual people and psychic people, or they have been coming to me. Also, having re-centred myself recently, I have been experiencing a lot of serendipity; things falling into place accordingly, and messages coming from other the people in unusual ways. Much of this is about getting back to nature, or things just slotting into place, working out ways to heal myself and others, or just what’s going to happen next.

I’m delighted to be a part of this movement of consciousness and higher vibration.

Salt Caves and Tarot Readings

I’m writing this blog from a man-made salt cave which I try to attend weekly for my allergies (asthma, eczema, hay fever) after my GP recommended it (www.saltcave.co.uk). It also clears my periodic ear and eye infections, which is a bonus! It draws out bad fluids and then you replace them when you leave with spring water (not mineral water, too many extra unnecessary minerals in there).

Anyway, I digress, the main reason I’m writing today is because, I did a tarot reading yesterday at www.tarot.com and it threw me some interesting information.

apparently I’m gonna be leading the next generation in new age revolution somehow, almost as a matriarch. Of course I’m already a mother to my son, he’s 7, but I also for the last 15 years (ish) have been assisting older teens and early 20-somethings in their lives, drifting through as and when people need me, the appear and disappear.
I have knowledge of how to balance myself and use it often, which I didn’t know. It’s almost like it’s second nature based to the knowledge I have already or have downloaded from the universe.

Having this knowledge today has lead me to a literal clear out, I’ve filled a large box of things to burn (we have regular bonfires) and I had a box to keep. I’ve managed to clear out a quarter of my bedroom as the upshot of this vague attempt at feng shui.

During this clear out I found a ring which I thought had been lost to washing machine plumbing by means of my jeans pocket for many months, it obviously jumped out and hid under or behind my bedroom door and this is roughly where I found it. An adage my mum uses a lot (and I discovered in the late 1990s when I was losing or breaking gems and crystals) is that if something is missing, it’ll appear again when you need it, which my ring did.

I’m now extremely calm and very grateful for all the knowledge I have gained with the new moon, the tarot reading and the beginning of clearing the negativity and rubbish from my life, physically, mentally and spiritually.

UK Drivers

My son attends a village school where there are narrow streets for traffic, yet so many cars are pushing and shoving this morning to the point where an oil tanker grazes a small car. From what I could see of the attitudes of people afterwards, they’re just equally shoving past each other and almost through each other in the same manner that the accident would have happened.

There’s too many cars on the roads in the UK, I like the idea of park and ride and villages with no motor vehicles except access, I’m hoping that’s what’ll happen here to be honest, even though I drive my son 3 miles to school, I’d rather park and walk, than risk our lives every morning.

What’s your commute like? What about social or distance driving? Maybe you don’t drive at all, I know our public transport is much lacking here, hows yours?
