Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan all set to shoot a quirky song for Ghanchakkar

In an attempt to up the ante of his upcoming film Ghanchakkar, filmmaker Rajkumar Gupta, is geared up to shoot a music video for the film with lead actors Emraan Hashmiand Vidya Balan. It will be a quirky song which will be used as a promotional video for the movie.

Gupta, writer-director of Ghanchakkar, said, "Yes, it is true that for the first time in my career, I will be shooting a music video for any of my films."

While talking to the sources recently, Gupta also added, "Ghanchakkar is a quirky comedy and the music video featuring Emraan and Vidya will have its own quirky twist to it." Rajkumar earlier wielded the megaphone for Aamir and No One Killed Jessica.

The video will be shot by the end of the month. Ghanchakkar is slated for a June 21 release.

Irrfan wants Haasil to be remade

There is no doubt over the fact that actor Irrfan Khan is in the golden period of his life. Recently, his film Life of Pi won an Oscar award and his next film Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster Returns, is also all set to hit the big screens soon.

At present several rumours have been making rounds about him being unable to do his thick buddy Tigmanshu Dhulia's Bullet Raja owing to date issues. Due to the same, a replacement is being sought by the director. However, Irrfan quashes all rumours between the two, saying that he wants Dhulia's film Haasil to be remade. Last Irrfan worked with Dhulia in Paan Singh Tomar.

"Haasil (2003) is the film that first brought Irrfan and Tigmanshu together. It was the filmmaker's first outing while Irrfan too was not as big a name then as he is today. On its release, the film hadn't done well commercially. However over the decade gone by, it has found a cult following for itself on home video and satellite circuits.

"Since it is widely acknowledged as one of the best student politics film since Ram Gopal Varma�s Shiva, there has been widespread interest amongst quite a few filmmakers to bring back the script in a revised format. Irrfan too feels that it is high time that the film is revisited," informs a source.

Admits Irrfan, "Yes, Haasil is one film that I want to be remade. Back then when the film had released, not many multiplexes were there and audience was not really enjoying films in theatres. I am pretty sure that if today's generation watches Haasil, it will get what it deserves. It would be unique entertainment for them and the film's content would also finally get what it truly deserves." 3

Latest buzz coming from b-town states that Sanjay Dutt, who was approached by Shilpa Shetty for her home production film, has denied doing the film owing to his crammed work schedule. The role has now got shifted to Sunny Deol.

According to source, Sanjay had to give bulk dates for Raju Hirani's next. The source added, "Shilpa had been waiting for a long time for Sanjay's dates but he has an extremely packed schedule. The actress-turned-producer was not ready to wait any longer and signed Sunny Deol for her film."

Further the source said, "Shilpa wants to complete the film as soon as possible and move on to make her next project. Sanjay and she are very close and Sanjay has joined hands with her husband Raj Kundra for their business venture."

If believe source, Sunny has charged a whopping Rs 3 crore for the project. A spokesperson from the actor's office states, "Yes, Sanju sir is not doing the film as he had given bulk dates to Hirani and his film with TP Agarwal. He didn't want Shilpa's production to be delayed due to his dates. He told them to go ahead and finish the film."

Well, the two good friends said to be okay with the discomfort. There is no dispute and they parted ways amicably.

Priyanka Chopra's cousin sister and the Ishaqzaade girl Parineeti Chopra might be just two films old but she is already known in town for being ultra-selective.

It is notable that Parineeti turned down the meaty role opposite Akshay Kumar in the remake of the Tamilhit Thuppakki. Director Murugadoss was eager to get the Chopra girl alongside Akki but she flatly refused. And she did the same to ABCD director Remo D'Souza as he approached her for a film withStudent of the Year Siddharth Malhotra.

It is learnt that she was offered Karan Joharproduced, Vinil Matthews' Haseen To Phasee opposite Siddharth at the same time and she opted to go for it instead of Remo's film. Interestingly both the films are being produced by KJo.

Remo on the same said, "We were keen to cast Parineeti opposite Siddharth. But she's already doing another film with him. So we now have to look for someone else."

While Parineeti said, "As I wasn't signing anything new people seemed to think I'm not getting work. I want to make it clear that I am doing enough work. People don't seem to realize I am just a year old in the movies. My debut film Ladies Vs Rickie Bahl was released in December 2011. I�ve had two releases already! And I've two major endorsement deals in my bag."

She added, "I think it's wrong for people to think I am doing too little work. I can't be doing five releases at the same time. I've signed three new films. That makes me one of the busier actors this year. Trust me, I had lots of offers."

Parineeti desires to do the usual song and dance routine. She said, "I want to sing and dance and be glamorous on screen. I loved Deepika Padukone's role in Cocktail. It has songs dances glamour, and yet it had a graph. You will be seeing me do all of that in Shaad Ali's Kill Dill and in Haseen To Phasee."

Kangana Ranaut is learning Chambal dialect for role in Revolver Rani

Looks like, actress Kangana Ranaut is keen on becoming method actor now. Earlier it was said that the actress took guitar lessons for her role in upcoming film I Love New Year, and now it is learnt that Kangana is busy learning to speak the Chambal dialect for her role in Tigmanshu Dhulia's Revolver Rani.

In the film, Kangana plays the role of a dacoit named Alka. Sources present on the sets inform that even her family members too have started calling her by this new name.

Few weeks back it was also learnt Kangana, who plays the role of a music teacher in I Love NY, went out of her way to get in the skin of the character. Instead of pretending to play the musical instrument during the scene (as most actors usually do), she wanted to make it look authentic.

Following this, Kangana started training with composer Pritam and his team and learned to play the guitar to get her act right. She also took efforts to get the body language and mannerisms of music professionals for the role.

Fiji Island is now emerging as the latest hotspot for Indian films because of its scenic beauty and serene beaches.There has been a lot being spoken about the sizzling chemistry between Neil Nitin Mukesh and Sonal Chauhan in their soon to release thriller 3G. The team had a difficult time shooting in Fiji Island due to the unpredictable weather. During one of the promotional events, Neil recalled an incident about the erratic weather they faced while shooting. The team was surprised as it started raining heavily before they commenced the shoot. The torrential rain led to the crew running helter-skelter and within minutes the entire set was washed out. Since the location was an hour's drive from their hotel, the team couldn't rush back to their hotel. They saw a small Indian restaurant and went over there to take refuge. The owners of the restaurant were delighted to see Indians at their restaurant; they instantly recognized Neil and Sonal and excitedly welcomed them.The 3G team spent the rest of the day at the restaurant while waiting for the rain to subside. The crew chatted with the owners and enjoyed scrumptious Indian food. The team was thrilled with the warm hospitality they received and the lead stars described this day as one of the most treasured day while filming the movie. Directed by Shantanu Ray and Sheershak Anand, 3G is an upcoming supernatural-thriller movie starring Neil Nitin Mukesh and Sonal Chauhan. Produced by Eros International and Next Gen Films, the movie is slated to release on 15th March.

The latest that sources hear direct from Asin herself is that she is not planning to get married this year as the rumors suggest.

New Delhi: My name is Khan and I am not a terrorist.

This catch dialogue from Shah Rukh Khan�s movie "My Name is Khan" must have reverberated through actor Irrfan Khan's mind when he was stopped "several times" by the immigration authorities at the US airport.

"It's humiliating. They don't even disclose the reason," says Irrfan, who is one of the most recognised actors from India in Hollywood having worked in Oscar-winner �Slumdog Millionaire', �Life of Pi' and crowd pleaser �Spider-Man'.

"Actually, I don't use my surname Khan in films, but in passports, surname and religion are required. I was stopped not once, but several times at airports in the US.

"Once I told the immigration people, why do you issue visas, if you don't want to give us entry, and the man scowled at me saying :Are you threatening me?," Irrfan said on Rajat Sharma's show �Aap Ki Adalat' to be telecast on India TV.

Irrfan was detained twice at the US aiports: at Los Angeles airport in 2008 and at New York airport in 2009.

But, he is not the only celebrity to face this problem. Shah Rukh, his co-star and producer in �Billu', was infamously stopped at the Newark airport in 2009. He faced a similar problem last year at the New York airport.

Other prominent Indians who have gone through a similar ordeal are former President APJ Abdul Kalam, John Abraham, Neil Nitin Mukhesh and Kabir Khan to name a few.
The actor, who is currently starring in Tigmanshu Dhulia's �Sahib, Biwi Aur Gangster Returns�, says he is tired of facing this everytime he travels to the US.

"The policemen with big guns just take you to a room and ask you to sit. they don't allow you to speak to anybody, nor use cellphones. And after long waits, they come and simply say :'Go, please go'.
"So now, I have told my hosts clearly that if I am stopped at the airport, I will just buy a ticket and return to India," said Irrfan.

Will Ghai End Shahrukh Khan And Salman War

New Delhi: Despite being aware of the arch rivalry between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, Bollywood showman Subhash Ghai has declared that he is planning a movie with the both of them, at BAG Network's ISOMES media fest Manthan.

The spat between the two star Khans is not hidden to anybody. The rift was created way back in 2008 at Katrina Kaif's birthday party. And the split only widened as none of the two Khans called it a quit and looked to patch up.

However, this wait of stars' fans to see them together on the silver screen once again would soon get over as the Pardes director has claimed of making a film with the both.

The director is searching the right script in which both the stars fit into their respective roles.

This task doesn't seem so difficult for Subhash Ghai who has brought together two rivals together earlier as well. It was in 1991 when Ghai had brought bête noirs Dilip Kumar and Rajkumar together on the screen for Saudagar.

Saudagar was the second film in which the two actors came together after the (1959) film Paigham. The Viru-Raju Jodi became a hit with the audience. The film was a Silver Jubilee success all over India and was a hit. Saudagar had got director Subhash Ghai his only Filmfare Best Director Award.

Therefore, Subhash Ghai had managed a hit despite of the lead actors being foes. And this time too, the director hopes to repeat the history.

Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, before their fight, have worked together in the movie Karan Arjun in 1995. They have also worked in together in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Hun Tumhare Hai Sanam.

Now, Subhash Ghai has taken the initiative. It will be interesting to see how long it takes to achieve the goal.

It was just few days back that successful director Sajid Khan announced his next film, which will be an out-an-out comedy featuring fresh star cast Saif Ali Khan and Riteish Deshmukh. The film would be produced by Vashu Bhagnani.

And now it is learnt that there would be another big actor in the film besides Saif and Riteish. However, director Sajid has refused to reveal the identity of the new addition. Moreover, Sajid has plans to commence the new project from July.

Says Sajid, "My next film is with Saif, Riteish and yet another biggie. I will be mostly starting the film in July." Meanwhile, Riteish has featured in almost all of Sajid's directorial; however it will be first time the audience will see Saif and Sajid together.

Rumours have that Sajid's apparent girlfriend Jacqueline Fernandez will be seen as the leading lady in the film. As of now, Sajid is gearing up for his upcoming release Himmat wala starring Ajay Devgn.
