Penang

Accompanied Bin to Penang for his 3D2N work trip last week. My initial plan was to meet up with some friends but since we stayed in Batu Ferringhi, it's quite far from mainland Penang. Furthermore, it's a trip with his boss, so we better be good (joking joking🤣), we actually had free and easy time but we were tied up with work, ended up spending some time working in the hotel room ~~(on the computer, not what you think it is, I know what you are thinking)~~.

Stopped by the Floating Mosque (Masjid Terapung) on the way to botanical garden.

Visited Penang botanical garden and saw many interesting trees and plants. It's a relaxing and cooling place, will definitely pay another visit.

One of the reasons we are here - to check out the cannon ball tree.

Visited this high rating (on Google) café called Wheelers for breakfast. Coffee and breakfast are surprisingly good. We were lucky to have arrived early, the crowd built up fast and people got to queue to get in.

Friendship

"Friends forever" is not something easy to achieve as we get older. I've lost a few friendships over the years. It used to sadden me a lot but knowing that it's unavoidable and accepting people come and go in your life has made me feel much better. Getting to the bottom of it, it's mostly caused by having different values and when someone has turned into a toxic person in my life. Life is short, spend it with the right people (I am not young anymore 😑)

Regrets

Had a conversation with aunty Sam and shared with her about the regrets I have that are dragging me down in life. She advised me to pen down my thoughts and I am giving a deep thought about it because I have too many "I could have" "If only" on my thoughts all the time. That's really bad for this aunty here 😖 We shall see.

2021 Recap

My 2021 was definitely not all sunshine and rainbows but looking back my heart has chosen to remember more of the good ones:

Consistent workout throughout the year

I managed to maintain 3 - 4 workout sessions per week with one goal in mind - for health, be it physically or mentally. The key to maintain consistency is to turn workout into part of your lifestyle and most importantly, go for routines that you are comfortable with. I've tried multiple workout programs and I found these work best for me - Yoga with Kassandra and standing workouts from Chloe Ting. Sometimes when I don't feel like following instructions from the TV, I will hop on the cross trainer for 30-45 mins and of course walking the dogs help too!
Completed my therapy sessions

At times I questioned myself why "waste" my precious weekend albeit just an hour to attend the therapy sessions. Yet, no regrets after completing a total of 8 sessions with the therapist. It helps me to understand myself better and learning skills to cope with stress as well as communicating with others.
Relex Smile surgery

Finally took the plunge to have my eyesight corrected after almost 10years of hesitation. It's not so much of procrastination, I was purely lacking of courage. If you've watched Final Destination, you will know why but if you have plan to go for laser eye surgery, don't watch the movie before the surgery! I know it's fictional but yet ... And I would like to thank Bin for his monetary support 😊
Staycation with PMP

Thank you PMP gang for accompanying me for my first staycation after so freaking long. It's a chill trip with nothing planned but that's the fun part of it 🎉 In fact, I think that's the first time I had my staycation in Kuala Lumpur.
Birthday Trip in Genting

Thank you Bin for the arrangement. Although I did not have high expectation but surprisingly, I managed to rest my mind, giving myself a break. Finally got to try Burger and Lobster! It's actually not bad but with that price tag, I don't think I will have it again anytime soon.

Mom

I was devastated when mom left us more than 4 years ago. People say time heals but the impact lasts forever.

Mom knew my weakness, she wanted me to be strong. I was trapped in sadness for a couple of months after she left and slowly returned to my normal life. I thought that was it, mom stays in my heart and I am moving forward. What I didn't know was, a huge part of me is missing.

My mom, my pillar and the only person that I can share all my problems with is gone. No one will ever love and support me like my mother. I feel that I am on my own. If my mom is still around, I am sure she will say I am weak :").

At this point of time, I've slumped...

Until I am ready, let me be. I have to heal myself.

[Jordan] Wadi Mujib Reserve, Siq Trail

I didn't have any expectation for Wadi Mujib Reserve. I thought it would just be another ordinary water trekking trail under scorching sun. Yes, it's summer now in Jordan and we have just experienced 40°c a couple of days ago in the desert 😣

It was only at the Wadi Mujib Reserve Centre that we realised it's an adventurous trail with high water level and strong water current.

In fact, it's canyoning that we need to do: climb, wade, abseil and swim at certain places! I was reluctant at first due to the hot weather and had doubts if I could complete the trail. But hubby was keen and my father in law is going too (he is in his 70s!), so there really was no excuse for me not to.

The trail started with a climb down a rock. From here, the water level got higher as you walk/wade deeper into the canyon. At one point, I was almost swept away by the strong water current. I grabbed the rope as tightly as I can and screamed until hubby came to the rescue.

In spite of all the challenges, we managed to complete the trail and returned to the starting point in 1 piece 🤪 Needless to say, it's an experience I will remember for a long time. If you are visiting Jordan, other than Dead Sea and Petra, I highly encourage you to include Wadi Mujib Reserve canyoning into your itinerary.

This experience reignited my love for outdoor adventures

Emo Post

The last post was written in 2016. I've been trying not to write about anything negative since 2012. I feel that as a grown up, you shouldn't portray yourself as an emo person online. So I started to write "proper posts". I penned down my travel and cooking experience, at times, positive notes about life.

But, I was not inspired to write anymore. Every time I started a draft, I would stop halfway. With that, I conclude I can only write when I am feeling emotional. That could be the main reason why I am writing this post today after 2 freaking years to jot down why I am so emo today.

Eyes allergy that has been bothering me for 2 weeks!
The usual monthly routine causes hormone changes.
Stress at work. Not so much about the work but more about dealing with people. Definitely a weakness of mine that needs huge improvement.
Miss my late mom.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxx something that I can't reveal ~~don't kill me~~. This reason is actually making me repeating all the sad songs on my playlist.

Despite of these, life goes on. Regardless of the circumstances, the sun will continue to rise tomorrow. C'est la vie ~

I hope few years later when I read this post, I will laugh at my own silliness.

Growing Bean Sprouts

It was not a smooth sailing start for 2016 but we just got to keep moving; learn and improve. Then I saw this TVC on YouTube and I find it really meaningful. There's no guarantee to success, but not trying is a guarantee of failure :)

Again, I spent sometime communicating with myself (I am not CRAZY ok):

Whenever you are rejected, you are reluctant to try again. Why?
Why are you so afraid to make mistakes?
Do you know it is absolutely okay to make mistakes? As long as you learn from them and do not repeat them.
No one expects you to be perfect. You are no one and you know that's impossible unless you are not human -_-
It is alright to admit your flaws. Apologize, fix things, learn and move on.

Last but not least,

Whatever you do, enjoy the journey, embrace the good and learn from the bad. Most importantly, be happy!

Random Thoughts

Having one of the worst headaches since I started working full time again. It visited me once I woke up and it's still with me except for the 2 hours nap. Reluctantly took MC as I really didn't want to put my work on halt. I was thinking to blame it on stress and the weather but I guess I shall blame it on myself.

I think I've been harsh to myself, forcing myself to learn quicker and act faster. I was away from the industry for more than 5 years and I felt left behind. Fear creeped in and wreak havoc physically (the headache)/ emotionally (not so much, just a little XD). Been affected by a few other non-work-related factors too.

On a positive note, I am really glad it's just headache and not so much about emotions. Come to think of how I was badly affected by every single small thing in life 10 years ago, I would say I've changed for the better :D? I sincerely thank my husband for being my pillars of strength, no matter how knackered I am, I know there's always someone for me to rely on. When I thought of this, I start counting the blessings in my life - my family, my dogs, friends, colleagues, my small silver and etc etc. The list can go on and on.

There's also something really important about positive energy. If you are feeling down and negative all the time, look around you. Find out if you are surrounded by people who are always negative or those who channel you positive energy? Life is too short to spend time with people who suck the happiness out of you.

Baked Dog Poos (Oatmeal Dog Cookies)

Made dog treats over the weekend. SIL asked why did I make dog poo. Then I realised the treats do look like dog poo. From someone who ate too much oats but failed to digest them :p

I've been buying dog treats to reward Jack and Gypsy after their walks but I find them expensive. So I've decided to make them myself.

Found the following recipe online. It's really easy to bake them:

Ingredients

1 cup wholemeal flour or low protein flour
2 eggs
1 cup rolled oats

Pre-heat the oven to 170 dgree C.
Mix all the ingredients together and form a dough.
Start shaping the dog treats (you can use a dog bone mold if you have one :))
Place the dog treats on a baking sheet. Send into oven and bake for 25 mins.
Lower down the heat to 120 degree C and bake for another 20 mins.
Let the cookies cool down and store them in air tight container. They can be kept for 1 - 2 weeks.

Gave the treats to both of them and they love it! Jack gave up his escape plan just for the cookie.

The only down side - I couldn't give the treats to Mr Oreo due to his skin allergy -_-

Sweet Potato Steamed Bun / Pau 番薯包

I've attempted to make sweet potato steamed bun once, it turned out okay but not perfect. So for the second round I combine 2 recipes, 1 from a recipe book and another from the Internet. Managed to improve the texture of the bun and I am quite happy with the outcome. If you would like to give it a try, check out the recipe below :) By the way, I made the buns with bread maker's help.

Sweet Potato Steamed Bun / Pau 番薯包

Dough

300g --- medium pro flour/ plain flour

3g ------ baking powder
150ml-- plain water

6g ------ instant yeast

30g ----- sugar

6g ------ vegetable oil

Filling

200g --- sweet potato
(I used the orange sweet potatoes. You can use the expensive Japanese sweet potato and skip the sugar as I find them quite sweet)

30g ---- sugar

30g ---- unsalted butter

1. Steam the sweet potatoes until tender.

2. Prepare the dough while waiting for the sweet potatoes to be cooked. Pour the 150ml water into the bread pan. Sift flour and add it to the bread pan followed by instant yeast, sugar and vegetable oil.

2. Select basic toast function (500g) and press start, you have to stop the function using start/stop button before the baking starts. Go for knead and rise setting if there's one for your bread maker. I am using Kenwood Bread Maker BM450 and I've set the knead and rise as one of the favorite functions.

3. Mash the sweet potatoes with sugar and unsalted butter. Place it in a container and store it in the freezer.

4. Once the knead-and-rise cycle is through (it normally takes around 35 - 40 minutes), remove the bread pan and have the mashed sweet potatoes ready at the side.

5. Split the dough into 10 - 15 equal-sized balls (any size you like :D). Use a rolling pin to roll out each ball into a round shape about 3mm thick (mine is not round coz my rolling pin is not working anymore T_T). Put 1 tablespoon of mashed sweet potatoes into the center of each disk and pinch the tops to seal it. Arrange the buns on baking parchment.

6. Fill a large wok with water and bring the water to boil over a high-medium heat. The water should still be boiling under medium heat. Steam the buns in the wok for 12 - 15 minutes.

He bit his own tail till it's bleeding! So geram and heartache. He's giving us no choice but to make him wear cone of shame (e-collar). When you thought that's the only silly thing he did...He surprised us again with...

Sorry for posting the gross photo. When I pointed at his pee and asked him "Why You Pee In The House?" in a stern voice. He did this...

A song that depicts my current life so accurately.

I wrote about Being Twenty Something 7 years ago and how time flies without you even realizing...I am already in my 30s T_T!

If I could, I would have told the 20-something-me, stop worrying and enjoy your life! If you are still in your 20s, I strongly advise you to:

1. Travel more
2. Forget about those crappy relationships
3. Enjoy being single
4. Play hard but work harder too
5. Treat your family well
6. Save and invest ASAP
7. Buy yourself a property
8. Spend time with true friends
9. Get involved in volunteering work
10. Most importantly, have an open mind, go for your dreams and have no fear.

I am sharing the above from the bottom of my heart, lol. I wouldn't say I have regrets but I think I could have done more and better in my 20s :)

For People Who Love Dogs

I almost cried my balls out reading the eulogy written by John Grogan to his dog - Marley. I guess you will never understand the pain of losing a dog if you never owned one. If you do, you will know that they are never pets to us, they are family. Not sure about others but dogs have taught me so much about love, compassion and loyalty.

In the gray of dawn, I found the shovel in the garage and walked down the hill to where the lawn meets the woods. There, beneath a wild cherry tree, I began to dig.

The earth was loose and blessedly unfrozen, and the work went fast. It was odd being out in the backyard without Marley, the Labrador retriever who for 13 years made it his business to be tight by my side for every excursion out the door, whether to pick a tomato, pull a weed, or fetch the mail. And now here I was alone, digging him this hole.

"There will never be another dog like Marley," my father said when I told him the news, that I finally had to put the old guy down. It was as close to a compliment as our pet ever received.No one ever called him a great dog - or even a good dog. He was as wild as a banshee and as strong as a bull. He crashed joyously through life with a gusto most often associated with natural disasters.

He's the only dog I've ever known to get expelled from obedience school.

Marley was a chewer of couches, a slasher of screens, a slinger of drool, a tipper of trash cans. He was so big he could eat off the kitchen table with all four paws planted on the floor - and did so whenever we weren't looking.

Marley shredded more mattresses and dug through more drywall than I care to remember, almost always out of sheer terror brought on by his mortal enemy, thunder.

Cute but dumb

He was a majestic animal, nearly 100 pounds of quivering muscle wrapped in a luxurious fur coat the color of straw. As for brains, let me just say he chased his tail till the day he died, apparently convinced he was on the verge of a major canine breakthrough.

That tail could clear a coffee table in one swipe. We lost track of the things he swallowed, including my wife's gold necklace, which we eventually recovered, shinier than ever. We took him with us once to a chi-chi outdoor cafe and tied him to the heavy wrought-iron table. Big mistake. Marley spotted a cute poodle and off he bounded, table in tow. But his heart was pure.

When I brought my wife home from the doctor after our first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage, that wild beast gently rested his blocky head in her lap and just whimpered. And when babies finally arrived, he somehow understood they were something special and let them climb all over him, tugging his ears and pulling out little fistfuls of fur. One day when a stranger tried to hold one of the children, our jolly giant showed a ferocity we never imagined was inside him.

As the years passed, Marley mellowed, and sleeping became his favorite pastime. By the end, his hearing was shot, his teeth were gone, his hips so riddled with arthritis he barely could stand. Despite the infirmities, he greeted each day with the mischievous glee that was his hallmark. Just days before his death, I caught him with his head stuck in the garbage pail.

Life lessons learned

A person can learn a lot from a dog, even a loopy one like ours.Marley taught me about living each day with unbridled exuberance and joy, about seizing the moment and following your heart. He taught me to appreciate the simple things - a walk in the woods, a fresh snowfall, a nap in a shaft of winter.

Mostly, he taught me about friendship and selflessness and, above all else, unwavering loyalty. When his time came last week, I knelt beside him on the floor of the animal hospital, rubbing his gray snout as the veterinarian discussed cremation with me. No, I told her, I would be taking him home with me.

The next morning, our family would stand over the hole I had dug and say goodbye. The kids would tuck drawings in beside him. My wife would speak for us all when she'd say: "God, I'm going to miss that big, dumb lug."

But now I had a few minutes with him before the doctor returned. I thought back over his 13 years - the destroyed furniture and goofy antics; the sloppy kisses and utter devotion. All in all, not a bad run. I didn't want him to leave this world believing all his bad press. I rested my forehead against his and said: "Marley, you are a great dog."

I Did Try ...

The screenshot above shows that I did try to blog multiple times but I failed to complete any of the entries. Call it writer's block or perhaps I have to many concerns whenever I try to blog? I've to make sure my grammar is correct, I am writing proper English and I have to think many times if it's okay to share what's on my mind. I do miss the carefree me.

I would really like to ask the 20-something-me, how did you manage to share so much? Don't you worry what others might think of you? You being an emotional person, the relationship issues and your shameless selfies! What has aging done to me -_-?

Headed to the sea with Crabbies on Valentine's Day and spent a great weekend on the island. Hence, haven't been able to blog much, I did try but the cheap alcohol and chocolates stopped me from doing so :X Plus, I've been going to bed late every night and I felt worn out :S Age really does matter.

We wanted to do a luxury trip but crabbies being the smart consumers we ended up staying in a budget accommodation. However, we did manage to go for sailing and afternoon tea set :D The affordable seafood dinner, kopitiam chicken rice & mamak stall roti are nice too with the companion of crabbies :p

A Small Change A Day - 2

I failed to continue with yesterday's post because I've made no changes after that -_- and nothing today, not yet. My life is kinda bored, ain't it?

I faced my worst ever traffic jam yesterday, traffic was in a gridlock everywhere. Stuck in the car park for 20 minutes so I made a u-turn and headed to Federal Highway. Guess what? WRONG MOVE. My car was at the same position for 30 minutes! Made another bold decision and took a long route home. Luckily, the traffic was okay or else you will be seeing a woman pulling her hair out on the road -_-.

Met up with Evon & Rinnie after that to discuss about some wedding details as I am engaging Rinnie to be my make-up artist. A conclusion after the meet-up - I need to go on diet ... like SERIOUSLY. Sigh. We shall see.

A Small Change A Day

A quick thought yesterday made me realised my life has been mundane and I really wanna make a difference. Hence, I've decided to start with making small changes in my daily life. This is to believe that, all these small changes will eventually lead to ~~my destination~~ *cough*, I mean reaching my ultimate objective of => "Getting Things Done & Feeling Accomplished At The Same Time" #asmallchangeaday

Today is the first day and I've started the #asmallchangeaday challenge with:

Leave for work 8 minutes earlier so that makes me arrived at the office 8-10 minutes earlier as well (yeah, there's no such thing as skipping the traffic jam and having the travel time shortened)
Finally blogging in year 2014 :X

Hello 2014

I know I've disappeared for a while but I don't think it matters? Coz I believe only 1 person visits this blog and that's me. Lol, sorry for the lame joke. I just didn't feel like blogging. I think I spent too much time reading about others' lives and neglected mine :(

The biggest change in my life this year would be ... getting married? Like finally?! After all the shits I've been through, I am finally settling down with the luckiest man on earth #yesihavethickface Anyway, the ceremony and dinner will be in 2014, there are still lots to do :|

The day after our ROM we went to Genting for our super mini honeymoon (mini-moon?) My favorite photo from the trip.

Went overseas to Myanmar, Thailand and Korea this year. I hope to travel more next year after watching The Secret Life of Walter Mitty -_- not sure how long this desire will last though ^_^ but traveling has always been on my thoughts. We shall see.

As for work, I am still persisting and working hard to find a breakthrough. Been through obstacles and been let down countless times. But the support given by the boss and colleagues is still driving me forward. I need to work harder and put in extra effort!

Another chapter of my life will kick start in year 2014 as I will be moving into my husband's house. That means leaving my home sweet home. I am gonna miss my family so much! Not like my husband's place is faraway but it's just going to be different. I am trying my best to spend more time with my family now.

On a side note, I would like to thank my friends and family who celebrated my birthday this year. I didn't expect much as I was tied up with work and not really in the "birthday mood" but I am so glad to have them around to remind me that I am a year older...ahem. Thanks for the presents. I love you guys T_T!

Time flies & 20s are far away

I blame myself for not blogging enough. I need to be more hardworking. So that ten years later I can still read my blog to reminisce the stupid things I've done ten years ago. Or maybe I'm trying to avoid that -.- in order to pretend that I am all this while a smart and sensible person.

I do not know the purpose of this entry. It could be due to the consumption of unknown substances. It caused the adrenalines pumping and activated the urge to start typing.

Okay, ok, I surrender. The sentimental moment is caused by the fact that I am no longer in my 20s :( and I've met many people who are much younger than me. Where did my youth go? I thought I could forever be in my rebel stage!

Run MK Run!

Just realized it has been 2 months since I last updated my blog :| I tend to blog a lot when I am down, so I can say that I have been quite happy hence the lack of updates :p. And I am here writing craps again because something is bothering me :(.

Anyway, I had my first run with Yoke Yee over the weekend. We have been wanting to do this for a while. So when Shirley approached Yoke Yee for the Run for Peace run, we gladly joined in! It's definitely much better than I thought it would be (I imagined myself crawling on the road for the last few kilometers. Yes, I am exaggerating because it's just a less than 10km run :p).

I think I did okay although I know it could be much better, more training sessions needed. After getting 2 goodies bag (thanks to the lovely aunty who so generously gave me extra) and the Run for Peace cert, I walked back to Yoke Yee's house to get my car and headed for breakfast.

Got a so-called-caring-message from King crab while I was having breakfast. Now you know where the title of this post derives from :)

That's my first run. I am looking forward to the next run ~~for the T-Shirt, the goodies bag, the free drinks and food~~.

Dining alone

I was in Mid Valley to run some errands and having difficulty to decide what to eat and ended up at Sushi King again. Sushi King is always the last resort for me, for the Nth time -_-.

Sashimi & Tempura set - RM19.90+. Let me know if you know where to have this at a lower price, I will definitely give it a try *kiasu mode*

Despite many people criticizing Sushi King's food, I still find it bearable and affordable compare to many other Jap restaurants. Maybe I don't have expensive and high class taste buds :| I was surprise to find a queue in front of Sushi King but I got seated immediately because I was alone. That makes me think of the benefits of dining alone:

1. Easy to find seat unless the restaurant is super crowded.
2. Don't have to wait for others. Lets say lunch is at 12pm but you will always end up leaving the office much later than that waiting for the rest and maybe another 15 minutes thinking where to eat.
3. You can eat whatever you like. You really feel like eating noodles today but one of the colleagues said she prefers fast food for the day and you have to pretend you are absolutely fine with it -____-
4. Better budget control. Your budget is only RM10 for today, nothing more than that. Then a friend of yours was saying, lets order more dishes to share and the rest agreed. Hence, you have to forget about your so-called budget control.
5. You can just focus on yourself and food :)

I've spoken to a few friends and some of them find dining alone pathetic. They think only "forever alone" people will dine alone. But personally I enjoy dining alone a lot and it doesn't mean that I am forever alone -_- I enjoy it because I get to eat at a slower pace and spend time on myself.

I woke up at 645am this morning hoping for a great start of the week. Unfortunately, things didn't turn out too well. I was telling myself you can choose to dwell in negative thoughts or just buck up and move on. So after calming down for 5 minutes, I lifted my own spirit and proceed to right the wrong. I should really stop making myself miserable -_-

I am having migraine again. I've been having headache almost everyday since last week. I had one of the worse last Thursday, struggled through a meeting, traffic jam and back home. Ended up vomiting.

I am having it now, again! I suspect it's the aftereffect of the accident I had in Oct last year. My life is badly affected by this, gonna see a TCM later. I hope he can fix it.

I've been slacking. Have been feeling reluctant to on my PC after working hours since months ago. Maybe age is catching up or maybe I am just too lazy. Didn't really have the mood to write a proper blog post and I just realised because I was trying hard not to reveal my real emotions. I used to blurt about everything and poor English/grammar mistake is never my concern but I am not sure since when I started to stop myself from being too emotional.

Soooooo, in year 2013, I just want to be myself when I blog. That means I am free to use lazy/busy as execuses of not blogging, I can write long wordy posts without any pictures, I can be as emo as I want, I can curse as much as I like, I can go with random posts when I am not in the mood etc etc

I know it's a tad late but better late than never :). I have been slacking in updating my blog but it's not like anyone is reading. *knock* Hello? Anyone there?

A recap on year 2012:

January
It wasn't a pleasant month. Work has taken its toll on me, I still remember the client rejected the products right in front of me and I almost teared up. It's the N-times I thought of withdrawing from what I was doing. But the rejection wasn't the main cause for me to consider quitting.

February
I would say this was the worst month in the whole of year 2012. I got scolded a few times unreasonably. The good side of it, I think I've grown up a little (mentally of course :p). I didn't fight back and I think I've handled it professionally. I ended up jobless after mid of Feb.

March

Finally, something good to recall :). I was in Kuching with Yoke Yee! It was an ad hoc trip but we enjoyed it so much! Especially the road trips to all the tourist attractions. Hopefully we can do this again soon.
I went to Australia with Bin's family. It was my 1st time to Tasmania and it's definitely an unforgettable trip. I will not forget the cold night spent out with Bin under the cluster of stars and drinking James Boag :) Though we were freezing -_- , the price to pay for romantic moments.

April

Went for a bike trip to Batu Pahat, Kuantan and Cameron. It was a relaxing trip before I start work in mid April ;)
King crab cooked for all the crabbies. The crabbies gathering uplifted my spirit, I guess that's what good friends are for :)
Attended the 428 Bersih rally.

May

Didn't start off well.
Got to know that some party scolded me badly behind my back, spread negative rumors about me and make things difficult for me. I wouldn't deny that I was angry and found it hard to believe how one can stoop so low to pull you down just because you don't follow their way. But it actually makes me a better person? I remained silent because I chose to appreciate those who stand by me through thick and thin. Hence the post of "Appreciation".
Meet up with Ms Mandi in an organic restaurant near my place and this reminds me that I haven't met her for ages!

Company Trip to Hanoi - thanks bosses for the invitation. Do you believe it, this is like my 1st company trip after working for so many years ~~I exaggerate a bit la, I am not that old okay, definitely not more than 10 working years~~ . Had a great time with colleagues; watched 3 episodes of LOTR with my roomie - YH throughout the 3 nights before we zZz (3 hrs long for each episode -.-)! I will never forget the orchestra performed by Mr Steve!

Went for US PRO Basketball Alumni with Bin & CW. Again, thanks Bin for the invitation. No photos taken because I brought a camera without a SIM card and I was so pissed off with myself that I refused to take any photos with my camera phone -.- Managed to see Pippen, Dennis Rodman & others.

Participated in a 3-day event in Mid Valley.

Bike trip to Thailand - headed to Hatyai and Koh Samui over the weekend. It was a long journey, it's my 1st time traveling so far being a pillion. I couldn't feel my as* at the end of the day. Just imagine riding on a bike for more than 10 hours a day, gone through hot sun and heavy rain. BUT it was a fun-filled trip. Excellent company and we were being well taken care of. Thanks to those who have contributed to make this trip a great one, it's a great experience. ~~I came home lau sai, had too much spicy food~~ I will blog about this trip in details ~~soon~~ later.

Queen crab gave birth to a baby crab!
I almost said goodbye to the world. Got into a serious car accident and thank GOD I am still alive. Thanks to the amazing people I met in Kelantan.

Attended Evon's wedding. I am truly happy for her and Donald :)

Family trip to Singapore. Spent a fortune but luckily I have a lovely brother who shared the expenses.
My 30th birthday celebration! Thanks crabbies, YY, friends, family and Bin for the wishes! I am smiling when I recalled Bin's arrangement for my birthday celebration. It was very sweet of him :).

So much to do, so little time.

There's so much I want to achieve. It's obvious that discipline and persistency are the keys. Regardless of how reluctant I am to turn on the computer after working hours, I am still forcing myself to do it. You can't always remain in your comfort zone. Still trying hard to wake up at 630am though, haven't managed to reach the target >.< It's so TOUGH!
