So off to the Beach ,Samurai was our destination , quickly pack car, pull in to Cole's for some lunch and off we went.We haven't taken our new girl the Ranger wild track named "Pink bits" out on the sand yet but we aired down and we were there in a bit.

We went with our good friend Cherie and Jim Dodd their cars name is SHRKB8. A morning of fun and chatting about some more upcoming adventures.

We have owned the Ranger for about 6 months now and are still finding our feet. It is a little longer than the Everest we owned,but most of the inside is the same. We have a Gvm upgrade done to it to pull our van comfortably,which has lifted it 2 inches, also there is a lot of other extras done to it will go into details on another post.

Today was about the sand, I have to say the car handled it well. Hubby drove out along the beach and I drove home.I slid a bit and sort of scratched the side a bit but no major damage just a lot of laughs and fun. Its the first of many trips to come in this beast of a car.We were keen to get a feel of capability as we have a trip to K'gari (Fraser Island ) booked and planed for this for September/October school holidays.We have done a few 4x4 trips in it now but this was her first Sand trip.

We enjoyed a walk along the beach, It was a lovely sunny day, I also managed to climb the rocks down the east end then brisk walk back to cars to start our trip home, I could have stayed there all afternoon, but someone made other arrangements for the rest of the day ....

Questacon was massive and you do need good walking shoes.could have done two days there easily.

And trust me its for kids of all ages,,

This was Canberra we enjoyed it immensely and will visit again one Day.

So from here we headed to Jarvis Bay for a few days.....

Xmas holiday 2016/2017

Lake St Clair

We left on the 21st of December 2016, a few days before Xmas, How nice it was to have no one really around and we had the lake to our selves. We even had a fire at night. It was so peaceful.

Xmas was busy at the lake, people everywhere by that stage. We were lucky to get there early and get a nice spot by the water where we looked out onto the water and mountains. It was great to be able to just slide the boards and kayaks into the water from the front of van.

We did meet a lot of lovely people, some nicer than others. It was

great for Miss Em. Some people offered her a go on their air seat being towed by a boat. She made lots of day friends she would call them as they only turned up for each day.

The weather was great; a little tropical though, freaking hot then storms in the afternoon. Some days windy just before dinner time.

What a great start to our caravan'in life.

It was our first real holiday in our very new Van and we did handle it well, There were challenges and concerns but by pack up day we had it all covered and ready to try it again.

We were away for Xmas. Emily was pleased even Santa did find her so that made her day. I think she had doubts after her Elf couldn't find us. Santa scored loads of points this year he managed to find some old PlayStation 2 games which she was so chuffed with (as that is what we have allowed her to take in van for wet weather days),

She is such a great kid. She made a few little friends around the lake but is just as happy floating around with her dad in the water.. Week one is almost over now bring on week two...

Week two was so hot we visited the town a few days just to get out of the heat. My puppies were suffering just as much as I was so the trip into Singleton in the air-conditioning was a fantastic idea.

We got to use that thing called a phone and send all our Xmas and New years messages out to family and friends. We also found a great little cafe by the shopping center. They were even dogie friendly and gave my puppies a big bowl of water.

We spent the morning snooping around and getting some more supplies then headed back to our van by the lake.

A lot of photos were taken and video on the go pro hero 5 (my new Xmas present ) my hubby is awesome. Had to say that he bought it cause I wanted one but he was behind it more than I was....It is a great little device. The photo's came out fantastic and the video stabilization is the best specially when I use it...

So with sadness in our heats we have left Lake St Clair but are a little exited to be home for a few days before heading away for STAGE TWO of our great adventure....coming soon....

Big Plans are happening..

This is the first of Many changes my family will go through,It starts with the sale finally of our Sydney home .We were lucky and got a great price finally for it,So we could put some plans into action.

Our close friends and work colleges were probably sick of hearing that when we sell the house we can finally be able to come away a lot more and enjoy our favorite hobbies with them more.

So it's for them I say thanks for listening to our constant dream talk,and our forever plans..

We sold the house and bought our 4X4 a big Ford Everest ,then had some work done to it to make traveling a bit more easier.We put the deposit down on a New Age Van at the last caravan show,So we new it would be finished around September/October,but luck would have it that it was delivered just in time for my youngest's birthday.She was so pleased her quote"best birthday Present ever".

As some would already know this year has been a hurdle and a half for my husband whom was suffering the dreaded C disease(BOYS PAY ATTENTION) "Prostate cancer"' is the worst ever, it not only affects the husband it affects their partner as well,There is a lot of you'll be fine your young you can fight this as long as you can bet the cancer you have ya life.YER RIGHT....

They don't say that life is F???ed up after,that you and you partner may not survive the trauma,Life is definitely different.I class myself as young I just turned 45, ok not so young anymore ,But My husband has just got through a radical prostectomy and partial nerve removal,go look that up on google.

As for a bunch of side effects it was an emotional journey to Hell and back,And just before he went under the knife I got diagnosed with Addison's disease ,which came with a hole life change as well talk about worst year so far,

So we both needed to look forward to a happier ending to this year.Stress could not be a part of it for me anymore,I struggle most days with rheumatoid arthritis and have some good days and a lot of bad.We both needed something to talk about apart from health i was doing our marriage in.

Once the caravan got delivered it all began to fall into place.Our first holiday was organised by the New Age company to get a feel for Van "So nice of them",It is a whole new world this caravaning,But I'm sure in time we will take to it like we do anything else.We are a crazy bunch and love almost everything life throws at us .May it be smooth sailing for a while...

So school has gone back this is the start of the second week.My big boys are back to tafe,and if they are not they head to work.
Miss Em has started year 3 this year one of the hardest years in school .While Mum has started tafe herself.Its going to be hard to feel comfortable in the new routeen ,but we will all need to pull our weight now,and work as a family.Our weekend a normally so busy already without the stress of assignments or extra study,But I'm sure we will all sort it out eventually.
I have no time to just chill now it's seriously busy all the time but it's only for this year then we should be able to relax. Unfortunately that means some of our hobbies "diving, Surfing,Paddle boarding,&camping "will all have to Waite till the holidays this year.We have some big plans for this year already .Some big changes again ..Can't say Yet I feel like I will ginx it.
So all will be revealed in due time...

What a weekend ...

Went off to Scrapbooking Camp again with my bestie's. It was so much fun .I haven't seen them for about 6 months at least, so it was a blast ,side splitting laughter had by all...We are the crazy ' st bunch when we get together...I do miss them so when I go home..
Anyway the weekend was so productive I managed to finish 3 pages and some of my project life album, ya gotta be happy with that achievement..And if I say so myself I'm rather proud of them....

You can do anything....

We have been trying so hard to get Emily off her Training wheels, but it has not happened.

She has not been very confident. A friend told me they just took them off of their 3 year old and let her use her bike like a push balance bike. So I got thinking that seeing holidays were coming I would make Emily try again and see if we could get somewhere.

We went down with some friends to a park in Newcastle and there was another child there on her bike, and Emily on her scooter. She kept coming to me saying “wish I could ride my bike like her!”. I felt so guilty for not giving her the time on her bike so she could practice, so I told her we'll go and try the following Day at the Park.

She was in such a good mood, even trying to master doing her shoe laces all by herself. I thought, just maybe today is the day, I told her of my plan, hoping she'd agree. She was a little worried for a while getting rid of those blasted training wheels but that was our goal. So off we went to the park very confident seeing that at 6 1/2 she should have mastered this by now.

It was a very shaky start and no progress for a while, but I was confident she'd eventually get it. So I sat and prepared for a long day. It only took her a few hours before she put that foot on that peddle and away she went. Yay, I couldn't control my excitement; and neither could she. I could hear her from the other side of the park. "Mum did ya see". Oh I saw it alright.

You are a very clever girl. She kept at it all day until there were no wobbles at all. And every time she passed me she would say "See I can do anything I want too". I thought, “you so can clever girl”.

Why is it that when we get older we don't have that feeling anymore? We doubt ourselves and always question ourselves instead of trying, trying and eventually succeeding. It doesn't matter how many times you fall or wobble as long as you keep getting back on the bike and trying....

We are on the move again.....

Yp you wouldn't read about it,I finally sort my craft /scrapbooking table out so I can start to work on it again and we get notice from the landlord saying she needs to sell.So we had a tough decision to make .Do we rent again of bite the bullet and bye,knowing we wouldn't get what we'd like this time around we'd have to make do with something a bit smaller but at least when we do move it will be the last time .
Our Decision was to look for a small 4 bedda that was within our budget,and wouldn't you know we found a little 4 bedda fixer/upper not to far from where we live now.
We are busy packing and sorting once again,I so hate the idea of moving I will be glad to be settled though.

How long till Xmas?

Omg I just looked at the calendar it isn't long to go once we have moved in to the house it will be about 5/6 weeks away,I have not done a thing for it at all ,I'm not ready again this year.It will be a last minute run out to shops fast,not what I had planed for this year but it's came so fast once again caught be by surprise...

I have been looking in the toy catalogs trying to find something special for my 6 year old,its the same crap as last year ,Is everyone feeling the same,I'm a little disappointed in out toy manufactures they have been pushing the same crap at us for years now,I so wish we has a bigger competitor to give us another avenue to go to.But alas there is none the big department stores here have exactly the same as last year..I know I shouldn't be feeling like this but I'm starting to hate shopping for Christmas gifts.I also am not a fan of gift cards either if you can't find a gift for the child how are they soposed to find something different...Anyway I'm off to shops again to go look for something different this year...Good luck with all your shopping and it's not long to go now......

This year has been a little hectic with our littlest mite off to kindergarten .With the drop off an pickups I have been in a new routine.

We have been diving most weekends and our Eldest son has just completed his open water so most times he comes with us now.

Mal and I are going to complete our rescue diver course this weekend.we are looking forward to it..

As for my Surfing I've taken a little break as the weather has been so cold of late I really can't Waite for it to warm up again.I have missed it heaps.

The Both Boys are working heaps so with being their taxi's I really have no time.

I have recently had a weekend with friends scrapbooking so of late I've been doing a little bit.

I just sent my Masters comp entry in ,I don't think I'm in it to win it this year but at lest I've entered..

Gotta say that the school holidays went to fast and have not found time for Family this year.Im behind on everything ..

I have promised myself I'd blog more frequently but of late have just not found the time . So I guess I'll keep trying ..

My niece had her forth child just before Xmas ,What do you get a child that will have everything? You make it,so I started choosing a pattern,my daughter chose this pattern as she thought it looked like Ema's blanket from once upon-a-time. Not a hard crochet Patten but it would still take me weeks as it needs to be a lot larger than most blankets..
I'm rather pleased with the way it turned out and the child will have a keepsake from her Great Aunty..

The Padi Advanced Open Water Course...

Well, you could be fooled in thinking yeah, but It was an Adventure that I'll never forget.

We started the Course on Saturday morning at 7am. Yep, you heard right. I had to be at the diving shop at 7am in the morning. If that wasn't hard enough I hadn't slept well probably because I hate boat rides in bad weather. So after not much sleep we turned up at the shop to start to get ready for adventure Day 1.

We were going out to Broughton Island somewhere. Yeah I know I've done that before, shouldn’t be a drama, or so Mal kept telling me all morning. The first part of the trip was no different than I'd done any other time, BUT the weather was causing a lot of rather massive waves, there was rain and a lot of cloud.

The trip was utter hell for me. I HATE boat rides in large swells. I curled up against the dive bottles down the middle of the boat and hung on for grim death for about an hour while we headed over to the island where we were going to dive.

I'm not too sure but I must have been so frightened that we were going to end up in the water capsized. Our dive master, Rowan, tried to make me feel ok about the trip by trying to make light of it all and trying to explain that we'll get through it fine but this had no effect. Every time the boat rolled or dropped I'd almost scream in tears. It is my worst fear - boats and any sort of swell. Poor Mal tried so hard telling me it's ok and we'll get there fine. I knew we would but I was petrified and nothing was going to change the feeling every-time it swayed, dropped or pitched my heart jumped out of my throat.

We did eventually get there fine and dropped anchor. And yep, it was better weather at the island. They were all correct, but it still looked nasty for our trip back.

We started to prepare for our dive after a brief from Rowan. We geared up and headed off the boat. We descended down a shot line off the back of the boat. This was our first dive for the weekend and we had some serious things to find. I had to concentrate on the life around me and not the trip home. Once we were all on the bottom of ocean (the big deep blue/green heaven ) I started to feel a lot better. I know I'm great at finding life down there. I spot more stuff than Mal can. So, we followed Rowan and started to look for the things we needed to find to pass the Naturalist part of our course. We needed to find 5 vertebrae, 5 non vertebrae and 2 plants. This is the easy part - remembering them when I get back to Shore might be a challenge though.

The dive was as usual, brilliant, I do love being down there. It wasn't long before we'd seen enough so we surfaced and headed back to the boat. By the time we were all on board the swell was starting to pick up.

I was already aware of it before we had even started the engines and found myself in much the same position as before but, to my amazement, it was an easier trip back. Boy I was glad to be back on land. We still had so much to do.

After a lunch break we were told we'd be heading over to Shoal Bay for our Peak Buoyancy dive and Navigation dive. Oh thank God is all I could think - no more boats. Yay.

We went through our Navigation (using the compass) in the park to make sure we had it sorted before we went into the water. I must say this is the most challenging of all the course for me. I've never been rather good at orientation so if Mal had to rely on me we'd probably get lost. It's something we'll be practicing for years to come .

Our dive at Shoal Bay was rather tiring, mentally and physically. Our buoyancy went as well as expected, I knew I had that sorted. Mal was a little over-weighted so he struggled a bit.

Then it was time for Rowan to give us directions to follow reading compass headings that we needed to complete under water. mmm no visibility this should be fun. I was seriously starting to panic at one stage but this is Mal's strong area and I knew if I struggled a bit he, being my buddy, would guide me in the right direction and wouldn't you know it, he did.

So, stage 2 of our course completed but bugger I was so tired. So tired that when we eventually got home to the kids, I almost fell asleep listening to poor little Emily explaining her day to me. We went almost straight to bed - too pooped to care.

Day two, Oh My God what time is it. Crap, the birds aren't even up. Mal woke me up at about 4.45am as we needed to be at the dive shop by 5.45am. Noooo, I need sleep, not happy, too early for me.

I was in a better mood by the time we got there though, and rather glad as the day was turning out to be great weather.

So what were we in for today, mmmm, we were heading off to Halifax to complete our deep dive - YAY, no boat dive. I couldn't be happier. I love the beach dives and we get to go a lot deeper than we've ever been. So excited.

It was a great dive. The visibility wasn't good but I'm really looking forward to doing that dive again. I love the big Blue Gropers that are there and it's so peaceful under the water. As for the depth, that doesn't bother me any – I love to be down there anytime. I didn't notice a lot of difference between 18 meters and the 26.1 meters we did except that it was darker and we had to use our torches more. The visibility was a little better than the day before, but I didn't care either way. On the way back to shore we encountered a bit of a strong current. It tested our strength a bit. I didn't panic but swam against it rather well. Mal struggled a bit but in the end we got back to shore fine. The morning dive completed, so much fun, yay.

On our return to the shop we got told we'd be going on a boat to Government Wharf (I've been there before). A nice quick trip on the boat. It was easy as, no waves and no bad weather. The dive was not as good as we did before but I didn't care, that was our last dive for our course. Now we had to go over the knowledge stuff to complete the rest of the course. That was a breeze but I'm so tired I think I could sleep for a week.

I’m pleased I've completed another course and come away with more confidence thanks to our Master scuba trainer Rowan whom put us through our paces. He's tough but fair, and a great, great instructor.

Now I have to figure out what PADI course I should do next ...

A little bit Of heaven on earth.....

Our new adventure this year involved Us (My husband Malcolm and me)to do our Open Water course in diving,Was I scared you Say,You better believe it .!
As it turned out I'm rather scared .
The Padi course for you're open water, is a few day's work,you get a text book to read and study ,you then have to finish a paper exam on what you remember reading ,then you spend a couple of day's in a pool learning about the gear works and what you need to know to visit the great underneath.... our course it also aloud us to do our very first boat dive...
This all sound fantastic of course to most people, but unless you are the middle aged over weight women that looks like a seal in a wet suit,and has a serious fright of open water ,and all that lives in it.It was going to be a life changing challenge,to which is a rather funny story....On our course we did our first beach dive ..this was a great and exiting thin to be able to enter the water without being dragged in...when it was time to start to descend I was so anxious I was frozen stiff.Finally I got the nerve to go under a little way but realized I couldn't see the bottom so I crapped myself and swam like the wind straight to the surface(not aloud)It was almost the fastest swim in history,I had bolted straight to the surface in a split second.not a good sign for future dives...My heart was racing and I couldn't breath, panic was all I felt and was shivering in fear.But I was so angry with myself for not completing a simple decent that I had done in the pool a day before,What was so wrong with me,after a few agonizing minutes I give the OK and tried it all again.This time I succeeded.Wow what a rush.We made it to the bottom ,check that box off, I'm under the great green ocean ,now to manage to put all I have learn't into practice..This was one of the most amazing thing I have ever done.Of course except giving Birth to my three fab ferals(Phillip,Thomas and little Emily).
We swam around for about 30 minutes and saw so many fish and critters it was the coolest feeling that I was hooked.
Can I really do this?
Well the next day was our boat dive and we traveled to Brougton Island just north of Nelson Bay to dive with the Grey Nurse sharks,apart from crapping my pants on the boat drive out there it was the lovely'est day to be in the water,just a bit of a swell.
We geared up like all the other well experienced divers and the hole time all I could think of was that they are probably baby sharks no bigger than my arm..all fear started to leave me as I entered the water and swam over to the anchor line for our decent.We started to go down and about 4 or 5 meters I started to panic one again, couldn't see bottom ,couldn't see the bottom of boat ,and I was a long way from the bottom ,my heart rate went up and I couldn't breath,the next thing I realized I was breaching the surface like a whale..crap that was fast .I swam back to the boat and got out of the water,oh I was angry with myself frozen in fear and crying my eyes out,Why can't I do this I did it yesterday..Maybe it's the fright of the sharks or maybe it's something else,I just didn't get it at all.After all the divers came up and raved about how fantastic it was I was still so hurt that I didn't make it down there,
Something occurred to me after talking to the dive master, I'm rather scared of heights is that a problem ,Yer she stated you need a horizon to get your bearing's or feel safe,then why could I manage on the beach?Because the sand is you're security so we decided to try again just the master and me? But instead of going down by the anchor line we tried a line by the back if the boat and she held my hand and was in my face the hole way down..Yep you heard it the hole way down ..I made it...
We then swam over to a wall and tucked in beside it, and waited.Out of no where one of the most graceful but freaking scary giants swam by,my shock and fright told my to bolt but I was frozen solid and very curious of this big fish that had a mouth as big as my head.How majestic and beautiful she/he was,it just glided past me so gently in the big blue ocean as if I was not even there..I tell you If I was wearing pant's instead of my wet-suit I'd have probably pooped in my daces.But to my delight there were more of them ,this place is a nursery where they come to give birth and spend some time relaxing.It was the most captivating thing to me to see these creatures, that I'd grown up believing , they hunt you down to eat you ,were so close and not caring if we were swimming near them. It is the most unreal thing to face you're fears,And I think every time I enter the water I feel I've found the stair's to heaven...
This paradise can only be explained as such ,It's not like our land and it's peaceful and inviting,granted there are the big eater's of little fat seal's like me but I pray I don't ever come across one ..And every Dive is so exiting to go in search of new creachers to look at..
I've found my heaven ...

A little down

I'd have to say today is such a nice day in the Sun,I've gone and done my Shopping and have hung a load of washing already but there's just something that's not quite right.. I had the worst dream last night of my mum ,was trigger'd by something one of the girl said at preschool they loved it when their mum comes and baby sits for them...I know it's not much but I sometimes miss my mum.. She wasn't always there but in a way , she was. I'm rather an independent (head strong) person who never needed her help for anything I could do it all myself , but you know you do miss the smallest things, we have been away from home now over 12 months and mums been gone for a lot longer than that ,but some days it feels like she's just passed ,or I've just moved here.. Away from my bf's, I miss them as much ,I look at these woman an feel a bit jealousy they are a phone call away from their mums, I just want to hear her voice ,even if it's her abuse ...
I know grow up get over it ,it's just a bad day , maybe it's the isolation from all family and friends,or maybe it's finally my time to grieve,but today's not a good day at all......

A Little busy...

It's been a while since my last post and I have been flat out with so much on,I've been knitting and crocheting for some family ,I've also been reading heaps.
Haven't done a lot of Scrapbooking though, which is a little depressing but that's the way it goes.
The Husband and myself have been doing a lot of diving though, most weekends we go out on a beach dive to keep up our skills,we are still quite new at it but are still enjoying it a lot,there is always so much to see.
All the kids are growing up fast Emily will be 5 in October and looking forward to school next year ,The eldest boy is soon to be 16 .
our middle boy has just got himself a job at Mc Donnalds so he's busy saving all his cash to by his own computer, and poor mums busy being taxi driver...
so another year almost over and Xmas nearly here....

A new project

A busy time the last few weeks for the Smiths, I've been doing my Padi Diving course and have just completed it ,we also went on our first boat dive ,and dived with the Sharks ,Soooo exiting and soo frightening but I also have been crocheting a little, made a couple of Poncho's for my Daughter and Niece .They turned out fabulous Miss Em loves hers to bits she wares it all the time....I have been scrapping a little but not a great deal as my times been spent on other projects.Well it's not long now till Easter and I might add I'm rather looking forward to the break this year,husband will be home for a few days and Miss Em's sooo looking forward to the Easter bunny's visit .Anyway Happy Easter to all and I'll catch up after....

A Better Year !.....
Well last year turned out to be a bit surprising,apart from us moving away, from my besty's, I got told that I got Honourable Mention in the Scrapbooking Creation Master's Mag ,and also my best friend Beth Jarrett won the Master's (about time seeing she's been trying for 7 or more years),better late than never I say!

I never thought I'd even get a second look.....

Anyway after that amazing effort and a great Xmas we moved onto this year(2012) where will it take us this year?

I've already been back to Sydney, caught up with my friends and Family ,while my husband entered the Nelson Bay Challenge...He competed in the Kayak leg of the race,He did ok for his age and body handicap's, At least he finished it and they didn't need to call coast guard.... Ok he surprised me ...

And the Dr's told him he'd never do anything like this again,And that was over 6 years ago after a neck injury

Show's you that if you put you're mind to it you can achieve anything....

The best professionals told him if he didn't have a op.. on his neck that he'd be lucky if he even could go back to work and that one day he'd over reach and the disk's would eventually sever his spine...
Yep that's six year's or more in the past, he still has some pain but he has decided that life will never pass him by....If it ever eventuates he has lived it to the fullest with no regrets,

Anyhow, My kids back to school routine's back to normal except for little miss Em we decided that it was time for her to start a dancing,So off to ballet she goes.She get's ready an hour before time and is ready to go out the door straight away (God love her )She practices all the time,It doesn't seam like that long ago I was doing the same thing..I so loved it too...

I hope this year bring's good fortune to all,if not ,then good health at least......

Tooth problem

Yep you can believe it ,I've had the worst night sleep as one of my right molar has an infection under an old filling,the pain is in my jaw,it's not a good feeling tooth pain... So off to Dentist today to see what can be done!
😰. Not looking forward to it either...

Emily is rather sick of the rain although she has worked out how to still sneak outside and play in it..Even though I have told her she'll get a cold she still would rather be outside in the wet..

Hi all,
Hope you all were safe over the holidays, we had a very full school holiday's with moving again.So we are rather glad to be going back to school and returning to routine again. I have alot to teel about the holidays where ever to begin..
We just recap,we had a lot of the family visit over Xmas, esspecialy Emily's Pop (my dad),then we got a visit from Mal's mother(my mother-inlaw) just after xmas for about a week ,Emily was in her element so many people to bug and so much company ,,She does get rather lonley on her own all day with just mum to talk to.
So after all the visitors we started on the packing ,again yep it had to be done!!
A couple of days before we started moving Mal broke a small bone in my wrist which put me outta packing for a while, man it was tough to pack with it swollen, but one of my nephews came up to help me get it done It was a long hard week for the kids and me while mal worked we were like ants going between ant hills back and forwards for days between houses...
With my nephews help it was done soon enough,but we were all so tired,and to top it off I promised him that if he come up I'd go do the course for boat licence on Saturday,well that was the plan if we finished moving by then,I sat friday night so exausted and went through the course questions on line ,mmm...Well after atempting them 5 times and failed as many ,I was wondering if I had made the right decision in attempting it the next day!
We went and did the course and both passed rather well,So exited were we that Mal took us out to dinner we were very pleased with our selves,My god you can teach an old dog new tricks after all...
Any who the kids went back to school this morning with smiles on their faces as I think this holiday's has been the hardest we've all had to go through...

Xmas break.............

We has a nice quiet Xmas this year ,It was so nice to be planned and organised .

We had my father turning up for the Xmas break Emily was looking forward to seeing her pop and showing off her beaches and Nelson Bay to him.............

Emily ran around and was completely inseparable from pop for about 2 day's .They were joined at the hip. I'm sure he missed her as much as she missed him ,We took him to our favorite spot for some fishin and wouldn't you know it, no one but Emily caught anything ,The boy's were so annoyed with her it was funny ...

Why is it Emily is the only one ever to catch a fish

Xmas dinner feast............

Dad spent most of his time up here with Emily, she was so demanding on him. I think when he left he couldn't get outer here fast enough!. I think she over whelmed him...
Our Xmas was rather nice.Emily slept in till about 9 am, it was all of us that had the early morn, waiting for her too wake ,what a strange kid she is,She loves her sleep......

More about Xmas later.......... gotta go start washing....

We decided that a nice family nigh was needed so we all sat down on Saturday night to watch the carols on TV.Emily being only 4 has never really watched them before normally she 's fast asleep,We all sat in the lounge room waiting patiently for them to begin ,one they started she blurt's out to me "don't ya dance to them mum"go figure I gave her a spinning Xmas light and told her to sit and watch hoping she'd fall asleep ,"FAT CHANCE" at that she sung her little heat out right up till they finished,then said to me can I bye them songs for my ipod the sounded nice......So Innocent ....

things ready for Santa's visit...

I don't know where the time went this year,the kids are about to finish

school again and I have been trying to pack house again ...

I'd like some time to sit and read or a little peace and quiet ...

everyone has a lot planed for the xmas break so there should be alot to tell after Xmas

Hi all ,
What can I say I haven't blogged for a while have been enjoying the Sun,Surf and time with family,
I know a little slack again, well better late than never I always say!
I have been rather busy so not much to tell,I do have some new photos to show from my latest Dt for Scrapbooking Haven loved doing this Dt ended up being rather enjoyable,I also entered a couple of challenges for this site to of which you'll notice added on to the Photo page also.
Well what 's happening for us in the next couple of months,I have to say that we are on the move again our landlords have decided they'd like to enjoy the sun,surf to.So we've been told to leave by the end of Jan 2012,Seeing that we are only at the end of November I guess they gave us plenty of time but ,I hate packing and unpacking so I think even 12 months would not of been enough time,Let's hope I can find a big enough house this time around.
Although the kids are looking forward to holiday's this has put a big damper of the fun cause we'll all be setting up new house fast before they go back to school...
On another subject I just got some terrible bad news ,It seams that one of my first employers just passed away,quite suddenly and she wasn't that old either,The lady was a little older than my big sister,you know it sorta makes you look at you're own life a little, and question, you're plans for the future,
This lady was a very talented, and love Hairdresser in western Sydney,She owned her own Salon for years and if it wasn't for her I wouldn't have ever went into Hairdressing,never met my Husband and wouldn't be doing this things I am today,
She was a great roll model to me of how a woman can have a great carrier, and be a strong member of the community,a great mother and at her age still love what you do, I always looked up to her growing up and admired her ,God bless her family as they are going to have a tough time missing her dearly,I now that a little shopping center in western Sydney will never be the same without her,It makes me rather sad to think that things have to change even the things you though would last forever,we are here for a short trip not a long one so enjoy as much of it as you can!!
Ok enough of my waffling I'm of to enjoy my day with my kids....
You should do the same...........
