Witty and brilliant as ever. Chicken with Plums is a story about Marjane's great uncle, Nasser Ali Khan, who decided to die after his wife broke his beloved tar. The story is both tragic and dramatic, yet i couldn't help chuckling now and then while reading and translating. How do i describe this book? Can I say that it's, more or less, in the line of Coelho's The Fifth Mountain? Yes and no, I think.
