Divorce decree for the United States of America!

What would a United States divided along liberal and non-liberal lines look like?

Because our ideas for America's future appear to be diametrically opposed with irreconcilable differences that will be nearly impossible to successfully mediate away, imagine what an America divided into purely Red and Blue states with like citizenry would look like.

I've seen this before but on Memorial Day, as we honor the men and women of the military who made the ultimate sacrifice to help preserve our American way of life, it is very much worth repeating.

DIVORCE AGREEMENT

THIS IS SO INCREDIBLY WELL PUT I CAN HARDLY BELIEVE IT'S BY A STUDENT!!! WHATEVER HE RUNS FOR, I'LL VOTE FOR HIM.

Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists and Obama supporters, et al: We have stuck together since the late 1950's for the sake of the kids, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has clearly run its course.

Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right for us all, so let's just end it on friendly terms. We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way.

Here is a our separation agreement:

--Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each taking a similar portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy! Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes.

--We don't like redistributive taxes so you can keep them.

--You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU.

--Since you hate guns and war, we'll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA and the military.

--We'll take the nasty, smelly oil industry and the coal mines, and you can go with wind, solar and biodiesel.

--You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore and Rosie O'Donnell. You are, however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all three of them.

--We'll keep capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart and Wall Street.

--You can have your beloved lifelong welfare dwellers, food stamps, homeless, homeboys, hippies, druggies and illegal aliens.

--We'll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO's and rednecks.

--We'll keep Bill O'Reilly, and Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood .

--You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we'll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us.

--You can have the peaceniks and war protesters. When our allies or our way of life are under assault, we'll help provide them security.

--We'll keep our Judeo-Christian values.

--You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism, political correctness and Shirley McClain. You can also have the U.N. but we will no longer be paying the bill.

--We'll keep the SUV's, pickup trucks and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Volt and Lea f you can find.

--You can give everyone healthcare if you can find any practicing doctors.

--We'll keep "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" and "The National Anthem."

--I'm sure you'll be happy to substitute "Imagine", "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing", "Kum Ba Ya" or "We Are the World".

--We'll practice trickle-down economics and you can continue to give trickle up poverty your best shot.

--Since it often so offends you, we'll keep our history, our name and our flag.

Would you agree to this? If so, please pass it along to other like-minded liberal and conservative patriots and if you do not agree, just hit delete. In the spirit of friendly parting, I'll bet you might think about which one of us will need whose help in 15 years.

Watcher's Council 'Scandalpalooza' Edition (Results for the week of May 20, 2013)

The Obama administration is a scandal plagued denial machine that seems at times to skirt the law and possibly break the law while exhibiting a total disregard for the US Constitution!

There seems to be no end to the lengths that the Obama administration will go to either silence critics, lie about who did what and when or deny any knowledge or complicity in the plethora of scandals that consumes it.

But, when Chris Matthews and Nancy Pelosi question the veracity of our would-be monarchs motives and actions, he may have finally gone too far!

...and now the Watcher's Council results for the week of May 20, 2013!

The Watcher's Council nominations for the week of May 20, 2013 were presented, the votes were cast and counted, and the winner will now been announced!

For those who may be enjoying their first Watcher's Council experience, it is a group that consists of some of the top conservative bloggers from around the world.

A group that The Political Commentator is extremely proud to have been asked to be part of!

Each week members select and submit an article that they have written in addition to one article from a non-council blog they find to be particularly topical and important.

While you may not always agree with what you read, that fact alone may make the experience much more valuable!

What did the American General say to the Iranian Ambassador? (Humor)

The Iranian Ambassador to the UN had just finished giving a speech and walked out into the lobby of the convention center where he was introduced to a U.S. Marine General.

As they talked the Iranian said, "I have just one question about what I have seen in America ."

The General said, "Well, anything I can do to help."

The Iranian whispered, "My son watches this show called Star Trek and in it there is Kirk who is Canadian, Chekhov who is Russian, Scotty who is Scottish, Uhura who is black, and Sulu who is Japanese, but there are NO Muslims.

My son is very upset and doesn't understand why there aren't any Iranians, Iraqis, Afghans, Egyptians, Palestinians, Saudis, Syrians, or Pakistanis on Star Trek."

The General laughed, leaned toward the Iranian Ambassador and whispered in his ear, "That's because it takes place in the future..."

Soldier beheaded in Woolwich,UK with terrorist issuing warning! (Video)

If this had occurred in the U.S. would the Obama administration have somehow found a way to call this act of terrorism workplace violence?

From The Investigative Project on Terrorism,

'A British soldier is dead, and two suspected terrorists were shot in a shocking daylight attack outside London Wednesday.

Some accounts say the soldier was shot, while other witnesses described the attack as a "beheading," the London Telegraph reports, and ITV News obtained video of a man with bloody hands carrying knives and a meat cleaver and warning "you people will never be safe" and saying "We swear by almighty Allah we will never stop fighting you."

He also said, "We must fight them as they fight us. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth."

Other witnesses reported hearing the attackers shout "Allahu Akhbar" – God is Great – as they attacked the soldier outside Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolich. The victim was not in uniform.

The attackers left his body in the street and reportedly stayed nearby, "waving knives and a gun, and asked people to take pictures of them "as if they wanted to be on TV or something,'" the BBC reports.

Officials are calling it an Islamist terror attack.'

For Obama, OWS thugs and criminals good, Tea Party bad! A look back...

The Obama administration has not called these in, yet!

It seems that the Obama administration has attempted to stymie the political process in America and may have stolen an election using Chicago-style tactics in the IRS scandal!

Now it has called out armed guards in an attempt to silence and discredit Tea Party protestors who in the past have never exhibited any tendency towards either violence or crime!

As we approach the Memorial Day holiday that honors those who died in the service of our country, Barack Obama and his administration appear to actively be attempting to transform America into their own vision of communist Russia where disagreement with the government was strongly discouraged and typically punished severely.

Before the treatment of the Tea Party is examined, however, let's take a walk down memory lane to the Occupy Wall Street protests and protestors that the President and the rest of the Left were squarely behind.

These liberal Michael Moore types, aka the 1%ers that the OWS movement was railing and protesting against, would speechify constantly about the virtues of these marauding bands of criminals, anarchists, 60's style revolutionaries and unions.

They would talk about the rights of these people to voice their disgust with the very capitalist way of life that America was built on and their demands for a redistribution of wealth from those who had worked hard and earned it to those who simply want it.

These left-wing elites would wax romantically about this movement that possessed no articulated goal other than fomenting civil unrest and hatred for what it is that America stands for.

Now if your memory has dimmed and you have forgotten about the truth behind OWS, here is a short reminder.

From The Political Commentator in November 2011,

Where are all of the supporters of #OWS now that the movement has shown its spots as groups of marauding nomads bent on civil disobedience, disruption of daily life and yes, perpetrators of lots and lots of crime!

The liberal politicians and Hollywood types fell over each other two months ago running for the microphones to heap praise on the #OWS movement although little was really known about them.

It was a scene straight out of the "Arab Spring" where there was rush by some, most notably President Obama, to back and support groups that we knew nothing about.

Now, in countries like Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen, Syria and Libya, the very groups it was feared would move into power are in fact doing so.

Similarly, the #OWS movement across the country has shown itself to be a loosely banded group of people, likely being manipulated from above, who are hellbent on pushing an agenda that is very difficult to identify beyond civil disobedience and the disruption of everyday life for the very 99% they claim to represent.

Perhaps the fact that groups and individuals such as the Communist Party USA,American Nazi Party, Louis Farrakhan, Ayatollah Khamenei, the North Korean Government, David Duke, Hugo Chavez, the Revolutionary Guard of Iran, Hezbollah, Black Panthers, 9/11 Truth.org, Marxist Student Union and White Revolution support the movement speaks the volumes that most in the movement cannot articulate! Below is a list of some of the crime committed by #OWS nationwide, followed by a short list of those "celebrities and politicians" who have supported the movement since the inception.

Question: Now that these people see the #OWS movement for what it is, where is their rush to the microphone now disavowing the actions and tactics? Why the deafening silence?

Armed DHS personnel at a peaceful Tea Party protest!

Now fast forward to the Tea Party movement whose stated goal is to limit government spending and taxes on we the people so that the long-term viability of the United States can be assured.

They are peaceful, organized and possess a well articulated message that scares the crap out of those leaders whose very way of political life depends on vast amounts of spending and waste.

So instead of canonizing Tea Partiers in the same way they did OWS politicians, beginning at the top in the White House, seem to be doing everything within the law and apparently some things outside of it to stop them from speaking out.

The IRS attempt to prevent Tea Party and other conservative groups from gaining tax-exempt status is just one glaring example.

Sending in armed troops for a peaceful St. Louis protest in order to depict the group to the rest of the country as a bunch of crazies is another, which is exactly what took place yesterday.

I suppose, at the end of the day, Americans should question whether there are any limits regarding the lengths that Barack Obama and his administration will go to silence those who disagree with them?

Up until now, the answer is seemingly no!

A nod is as good as a wink to a blind man, comrades!

How do you spell arrogance, hubris and chutzpah? (Video)

Trick question because they are all spelled correctly in the title, but there actually is one other way to spell all three: OBAMA!

This video shows the President telling a crowd of his constituents that he doesn't get caught up in chasing every 'fleeting issue' that seem to consume others in Washington.

You know what I'm talking about.

Things like:

The IRS trying, and likely succeeding in changing the outcome of a presidential election by targeting one specific party,
Spying on the media and by extension those who speak with the media,
The fact that on his watch four Americans may have needlessly died and U.S. sovereign territory was invaded while his administration sat back and did nothing to stop it.
And who knows what else that will come out in the future as the media is finally learning about who it is they have been protecting all of this time!

Huge issues to you and I but simply minutia that is more annoyance than priority to this President.

President Obama, the poster child for arrogance, chutzpah and hubris!

Meet some of New York's 'low information' voters!

They likely will have a better idea about who won 'American Idol' or 'Dancing with the Stars' than they will about two of the biggest scandals rocking the highest corridors of U.S. government, the Benghazi cover-up and IRSgate.

It's another example of how ignorant many of Americans are to what their government is doing!

And how uninterested they are in finding out!

This fact helped lead to Barack Obama winning two terms in the White House, but even the 'Teflon President' may have met his match this time as the facts and a scorned media may lead to his downfall!

Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano going back...

...and then forward with his vision of Nassau County, New York's future!

Many who read this article will not be from New York State let alone Nassau County on Long Island and will therefore ask themselves why they should care about what goes on there.

The answer is simple!

Because the administration of Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano is a roadmap for any governmental entity that wants to provide itself with the best model for achieving financial stability and the people who live there and companies that do business there an environment with the greatest potential for them to succeed and thrive.

Jobs, stable taxes, an end to government waste and creating an environment that's appealing for businesses both old and new!

Political Analysis of Nassau County Government

For those who read The Political Commentator on a consistent basis you know that the opinions offered here typically have to do with national and international issues with a particular focus on national security.

Much time is also spent questioning the motives and policies of the Obama administration when it comes to moving the country forward in the right direction.

Today, however, as a resident of Nassau County in New York State, my focus is much closer to home.

The adage that all politics is local has held true in the past and still holds very true today.

As a concerned citizen who owns a home, a business and who has kids in school I, along with over 1.3 million of my neighbors, also have a huge stake in the successful and thriving future of Nassau County.

Past Democrat administrations in Nassaus County, including the prior Suozzi administration, have taken the opposite tack to the Mangano mission statement above.

County Executive Mangano looks towards 'jobs, stable taxes, an end to government waste and the creation of an environment that's appealing for businesses both old and new' as the preferred method for maintaining the best quality of life for those who live and/or work here!

On-the-other-hand, Democrats in the past have implemented policies that resulted in bloated infrastructure, deficit spending, budget shortfalls and tax hikes that made Nassau County unattractive for both existing businesses and those who may be considering a move of their personnel and operations here.

And, as any amateur economist can tell you, a loss of businesses results in a loss of jobs, high unemployment and a need to raise taxes in order to make up for budget shortfalls that exacerbate existing monetary problems and that brings on new ones as well.

Democrat Tom Suozzi now wants another shot to do more of what he has done in the past. Can Nassau County and its citizens afford for that to happen?

The Ed Mangano vision for a thriving Nassau County

To make a long story short, yesterday I once again had the pleasure of meeting and listening to Ed Mangano articulate his vision for Nassau County going forward.

And while a vision for the future is all well and good, at the same time I can also look at the tangible results that he has accomplished during his administration.

The results of his policies since taking office are obvious to any Nassau resident who opens a tax bill and sees stability, opens a Newspaper and sees businesses choosing to stay here and others to move here or who examines the employment statistics and sees a Nassau County unemployment rate of 6.4% compared to a New York State level of 8.2% and a national level of 7.6%. Mangano cut $290 million is wasteful government spending eliminating over 1,700 positions, eliminated patronage jobs, implemented public-private partnerships and more.

Critical for homeowners such as myself, he eliminated the 16% property tax hike that had been planned by the Suozzi administration and equally as important has held the line since.

If only local school districts could say the same!

And he has helped to bring or keep here in Nassau County over 18,000 jobs.

The botton-line?

Can Nassau County residents afford to go back to the type of borrow and spend mentality that created huge deficits, resulted in higher taxes and that threatened to drive people out rather than bring new people, businesses and jobs in?

If you believe that the same old Democrat way of doing business is bad for Nassau County and by extension bad for you and your way of life, then get behind Ed Mangano for another term as County Executive!

The Political Commentator offers its wholehearted endorsement for Ed Mangano's performance as the County Executive of Nassau County!

You won't believe what these seven Saudis, Pakistanis and Singaporeans were doing!

Then again you probably will but the problem is that the Obama administration, tasked with making sure things like this don't happen, likely doesn't!

For you see most American are smart enough or apolitical enough to know who the United States is fighting in the global war on terror.

The current administration, however, is either too blind, inept, inattentive, preoccupied, politically motivated or _____(fill in the blank) to take the necessary steps to truly try and stop it.

What event am I speaking about?

An arrest you may or may not be familiar with that took place this Tuesday at a reservoir in Massachusetts where five men and two women, citizens of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Singapore were caught trespassing.

Was it just an innocent excursion as they claimed to further their education and career interests or was it more along the lines of an exploratory trip to determine how to best poison a regions water supply?

The seven are recent college graduates and chemical engineers.

Maybe I'm just paranoid and think that there are groups around the world that want to destroy our society and that are now are entering a new phase which includes the Boston Marathon bombing where they are taking the fight to our country, or maybe I am just a realist.

I'll go with the latter, and along those lines it would be extremely helpful if the Obama administration would stick to the one job it is truly tasked with, national security, and leave the Chicago-style politics to others.

From International Business Times, '7 Caught Trespassing At Quabbin Reservoir In Belchertown, Mass.; Patrols Increased Across State':

Seven people were detained on Tuesday after being caught trespassing at the Quabbin Reservoir in Belchertown, Mass., state police have revealed.

Authorities say that the seven trespassers, consisting of five men and two women, are from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Singapore, CBS Boston reports. Massachusetts State Police claim that each trespasser “cited their education and career interests” as their reason for being in the restricted area.

According to CBS Boston, the men told police that they were recent college graduates and chemical engineers.

State police spokesman David Procopio said in a statement that a trooper noticed two cars parked near a reservoir park entrance around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. Five men and two women were then spotted walking toward the vehicles from the direction of the Quabbin Reservoir.

The Quabbin Reservoir, located in Belchertown, Mass., is one of the nation’s largest manmade public water supplies, CBS Boston reports. The Quabbin and Wachusett Reservoirs provide drinking water for the city of Boston.

While the seven trespassers were questioned, state police said that there were no warrants or advisories pertaining to the individuals. Authorities added that “there was no evidence that the seven were committing any crime beyond the trespassing,” CBS Boston reports.

Each of the seven people were allowed to leave after being issued a summons for trespassing. However, the FBI is investigating the matter, and precautionary inspections of nearby public water supplies have been increased, CBS Boston reports.

With the Benghazi, AP, and IRS scandals all hitting the fan the media may finally be out of Obama protection mode and actually be starting to do their job.

Watcher's Council Nominations

For those who may be enjoying their first Watcher's Council experience, it is a group that consists of some of the top conservative bloggers from around the world.

A group that The Political Commentator is extremely proud to have been asked to be part of!

Finally, knowing your President!

Political thoughts for a Wednesday!

Listening to the liberal media (Bloomberg Radio) two things struck me:

1) Instead of them positioning the most recent three scandals (Benghazi, AP wiretaps and IRS) as some kind of political opportunity for Republicans, instead why don't they recognize the fact that for six years they and the rest of the MSM have had their collective heads up their collective asses.

That finding out who this President really is, what he stands for and his desired direction for the United States is an imperative for the American people.

To the upside, watching and reading the news coverage it seems as if the worm is finally turning and the people responsible for providing President Obama with political cover for all of these years may finally be providing the news and may actually now be doing their jobs!

2) Putting Eric Holder in charge of any investigation is like putting the fox in charge of finding out who ate the hen in the henhouse!

Know thy enemy: "The 39 Principles of Holy War"

The Obama administration has an apparent unwillingness to see or acknowledge the most dangerous current enemy to U.S. national security, Islamic extremists!

Perhaps the group he calls his national security team should familiarize themselves with this list so that if the United States is attacked and our people murdered they will have a better idea of why it happened and who the perpetrators are.

Unless of course they already know and simply want to mislead the American people for their own political purposes.

Mujahideen: Muslim guerrilla warriors engaged in a jihad. (Source)
Provided by The Israeli New Agency in 2003, these are "The 39 Principles of Holy War" that were discovered online and that serve as an al-Qaeda terror manual:

1. Preparing and urging the mind for Jihad - Every Muslim must obey the call for the Jihad against the infidels out of sheer belief and intention.

2. Sincere desire to attain martyrdom - Al-Salem, basing his arguments on Sheik Abdallah Azzam (the spiritual leader of Osama Bin Laden, killed in Afghanistan in 1989), emphasizes the importance of the sincere endeavor in order to attain martyrdom from Allah. The believer can perform the commandment concerning the "preparation to the battle" (I'dad Al-'oda) and gain a reward from Allah equivalent to the Saheed's reward (72 virgins and secure a close place near the Divine presence in Heaven) even though he may die from natural causes.

3. Taking part in the Jihad - Every Muslim has to take an active role in holy war against the infidels, prepared to self sacrifice for the sake of Allah. Participation in Jihad is the most distinguished action in the eyes of Allah.

4. Financing Jihad - Muslims can take part in the Jihad by making donations dedicated to the Jihad and the Mujahideen. The donation's value is determined by its quality and destination and not by the sum total which is donated.

5. Supplying the fighters' needs - A believer who is unable to take part in the Jihad (for instance women and handicapped) can perform his duty by supplying the Mujahideens' needs in money and equipment. By doing so the donator is considered Mujahid and deserves the same reward.

6. Taking care of the Mujahid's family - A believer who supplies a Mujahid's family needs is considered Mujahid and deserves half of his reward. If one neglects this act it may bring him misfortune and death by the hands of God.

7. Assisting the fallens' families - by supplying the special needs of the orphans and widows.

8. Assisting the families of prisoners and wounded fighters - by supplying their necessities.

9. Fund raising for the Mujahideen - money is the lifeline of the Jihad. Its importance also stems from gathering donations which would arouse the spirit of Jihad in the believers' hearts. There are many ways of carrying out this duty: in mosques, public places, family gatherings, charity events, monthly donation or by urging the wealthy to open their hands to the Mujahideen.

10. Granting charity donations to the Mujahideens - who enjoy priority status in Islam.

11. Financing medical treatment for wounded Mujahideen

12. Praising the Mujahideen and their deeds - It is essential to educate the
Islamic Nation on their values and to see them as a role model.

13. Encouraging the Mujahideen to stick to their ways - in order to
strengthen their spirit and moral.

14. Protecting the Mujahideen -avoid publishing any information that may place them in jeopardy or spoil the spirit of Jihad. Al-Salem warns his readers from the Arabic daily Al-Sharq Al-Awsat (Saudi orientated, published in London) which conducts the "crusader - Jewish scheme" against Islam by publishing false information designed to destroy the steadfastness of the Islamic Nation and the Mujahideens' spirit.

15. Publicizing the disgrace of hypocrites and defeatists - who strive to weaken the Islamic Nation.

16. Preaching to Jihad - Enormous reward is promised to every Muslim who serves as a catalyst for other believers to commit the duty of the Jihad.

17. Providing strategic advice to the Mujahideen - This can be translated in many ways including the supply of essential information on the enemy and his plans in order to be well prepared.

18. Keeping secrecy concerning the Mujahideen

19. Prayers to Allah for the sake of the Mujahideen and for the defeat of
the enemies.

20. Holding special prayer to avoid misfortune and to strengthen the Muslim community.

21. Publishing the Mujahideens' activities in order to arouse the notion of solidarity and strengthen pride and hope among the believers, to praise the ideal of self sacrifice for the sake of Allah and to break the media siege imposed by the enemy. There are varied ways recommended for distributing information praising Jihad including Internet websites and forums, distribution lists, circulating publications in public places (for instance mosques, schools), sending SMS, etc.

22. Participating in the publishing process of books on the Mujahideen

Publishing Islamic laws supporting the Jihad - This mission falls on the shoulders of the Muslim scholars who have the duty to guide the Islamic Nation in the light of the Jihad and to call believers to join the Mujahideen and pray on their behalf. Their followers are demanded to urge the scholars to act. In this context, Al-Salem glorifies the role of Sheik Hamoud Al-Oqala Al-Shu'aybi (radical Saudi scholar, deceased 2 years ago, backed the Taliban regime and al-Qaeda) as an adorable scholar who thrived to strengthen the Jihadi organizations worldwide by publishing Islamic laws justifying terror suicide attacks and holy war against the infidels.

24. Keeping steady, consistent contact with scholars and preachers in order to update them about the current happenings in connection with the Mujahideen. The believer is asked to assist Islamic scholars who on certain occasion are under government pressure or influenced by false information. He has to update them regularly with reliable information, to support them and urge them to persist with the call to Jihad.

25. Physical practicing - A Muslim who designates himself to become a Mujaheed has to start gradually by improving his physical fitness. Al-Salem elaborates in his book a recommended practicing program which includes enhancing the endurance of both the heart and lungs, increasing muscle mass and strength.

26. Acquiring shooting skills - Al-Salem calls on Muslims not to be satisfied solely with the tuition of Jihad but to prepare in performing in this duty by acquiring shooting skills.

27. Practicing swimming and riding horses - riding horses, explains Al-Salem is still relevant in the battlefields of Afghanistan, Chechnya and Iraq.

28. Learning first aid skills - to help wounded Mujahudeen (splicing broken bones, providing infusions, etc.).

29. Learning the doctrine of Jihad - Al-Salem recommends dozens of books, articles and Islamic laws published in recent years by Muslim radical leaders and scholars most of them Saudis by origin (Osama Bin Laden, Hamoud Al-Oqala Al-Shuaibi, Abd Aziz Jarbou', Yusouf Al-'ayyiri, Naser Al-Fahed, Ali Al-Khudier, Suliman Al-Olwan and more). One of them is the Al-Khudier's Islamic law which justifies the use of weapons of mass destruction against the U.S.

30. Supplying refuge and shelter to the Mujahideen

31. Expressing hostility and hatred toward infidels - A call for reconciliation or co-existence with the infidels might weaken the Mujahudeen. One may call for a Hudna, but to place it in practice is forbidden.

32. Constant action to achieve the release of all prisoners - held in enemy jails and to use all means for their escape or release.

33. Distributing current information on the prisoners in order to keep their high moral.

34. Performing electronic Jihad - Al-Salem attributes paramount importance to the Internet as a component for Jihad. He calls believers to join the Jihad by participating in Internet forums to defend the Islam and Mujahideen, to preach Jihad and to encourage Muslims to learn more about this sacred duty. The Internet provides an opportunity to reach vast, target audiences and respond swiftly to false allegations. Computer experts are asked to use their skills and experience in destroying American, Jewish and secular websites as well as morally corrupt web sites.

35. Alienation of infidels - Believers in other religions have to be isolated from Muslim communities so they will be prevented from committing hostile actions.
36. Educating the younger generation to adore Jihad and the Mujahideen - The children, asserts Al-Salem are the "fuel" of the next stage of confrontation with the infidels. Parents have the duty to educate them to adore Jihad and the Mujahideen and to prepare themselves mentally for self-sacrifice for the sake of Allah. Al-Salem recommends believers to tell their young stories about the life of Prophet Mohammad, his associates, the great Muslim conquerors and the Mujahideen in our time. In addition it is recommended to display to the children Jihadi films and taped preaches which praise martyrdom.

37. Abandoning the luxuries of materialism - which might weaken the spirit of Jihad.

38. Boycotting enemy's commodities - as part of the economic Jihad.

39. Avoiding the employment of foreign workers - from enemy countries.

Steven Hawking and his Israel boycott: Liberal, academic, elitist, hypocrite!

Or is calling a liberal academic an elitist and a hypocrite something of an oxymoron?

Steven Hawking is boycotting Israel by canceling his trip there at the request of Palestinian academics who have called for a boycott of that country.

Isn't it funny how a brilliant man like Mr. Hawking can be so selective in how he chooses to make academics political!

But then, isn't that just like a liberal elite in an Ivory Tower?

'Steven Hawking, the world-renowned physicist and celebrity, has cancelled a planned trip to Israel to participate in a conference sponsored by Israeli President Shimon Peres. His explanation: "I have received a number of emails from Palestinian academics. They are unanimous that I should respect the boycott. In view of this, I must withdraw from the conference."

It's an odd world isn't it? By what inverted moral calculus does someone of Hawking's stature find it morally problematic to set foot on the soil of the region's only democracy? One wonders how many other nations has Hawking declined to visit in order to express his disapproval of their policies?

A glance at his CV reveals that Hawking visited the Soviet Union in 1973. Russia is no human rights picnic today (it is one of two chief sponsors of the Assad regime in Syria, for example), but those were the bad old days of Brezhnev, when uprisings for freedom in Hungary and Czechoslovakia were ruthlessly suppressed, the KGB inspired terror and scientists who displeased the regime were packed off to the Gulag.

The incredibly well traveled Hawking also visited Iran in 2007 for the International Physics Olympiad. His conscience was apparently untroubled by the stoning of adulteresses, imprisonment without trial, torture and the persecution of religious and ethnic minorities -- to say nothing of arming terrorists and threatening to wipe countries off the map.

There is, alas, no shortage of nations in this world richly deserving of boycotts and other forms of pressure. Atrocities against civilians, including children, are a daily occurrence in the Democratic Republic of Congo. China, Cuba, Vietnam, Somalia, Mali, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, Myanmar, Kyrgyzstan, as well as the above-mentioned Russia and Iran and many others oppress their populations, flout human rights, disdain judicial procedures and muzzle the press.

Yet there is no worldwide BDS ("Boycott, Divest, Sanction") movement against any of those countries. Some have been sanctioned by the United Nations, or in the case of Cuba, boycotted by the United States. But only Israel is singled out for the BDS treatment by private organizations and individuals. Hawking joins entertainers Elvis Costello, Santana, Jon Bon Jovi and the Pixies, in declining to travel to Israel. The Presbyterian Church (USA) has started the process of divesting from Israel, joining the Canadian Union of Public Employees, the United Church of Canada, the Church of England Synod, the Irish Congress of Trade Unions and the World Council of Churches. Bishop Desmund Tutu has called for Israel to be treated just as apartheid South Africa was -- a call that Jimmy Carter has come close to echoing...'

This is much more simplistic having to do with the fact that I woke up this morning expecting blue skies and instead there is a torrential downpour!

Other than being an economist (or a politician), what other job allows you to be wrong the majority of the time with no negative consequences?

Once again I am not speaking about being President Obama because that fact goes withpout saying as we currently are enduring a 2nd-term with him at the helm.

What would happen if you had a weatherman's record of failure in your business?

Obama leadership vacuum anecdote for the day!

Barack Obama is a leader who made one phone call to his national security team during the hours of a direct attack on the United States in Benghazi in which four Americans were killed!

He equaled that total by calling NBA player Jason Collins immediately when he announced he was gay.

What kind of a leader is this?

Obviously not very good one!

When a soldier is killed in the line of duty, his family eventually gets a flag and a note conveying sympathy and respect and from the United States Government. When a black pro basketball player announces he is a gay, he immediately gets a personal phone call from the President congratulating him for his courage.

Cartoon, Video (Hilarious): Hey recent college graduate, congratulations?

Despite the fluff being floated by the Obama administration about an improving job market, the unemployment rate for recent college grads is reported at 8.8%!

What that number doesn't tell you, however, is that for graduates who are actually employed, it is often at compensation levels that cannot possibly allow them the opportunity to both live and repay their student loan debt.

For instance, how about the graduate who has $100,000 in student loan debt that's accruing at upper single-digit interest rates working as a bank teller making little more than the minimum wage.

What comes first, food and shelter or debt repayment?

I think we know the answer to that.

A very short read: This is by far the best explanation of the Muslim terrorist situation I have ever read.

His references to past history are accurate and clear. Not long, easy to understand, and well worth the read.

The author of this email is Dr. Emanuel Tanya, a well-known and well-respected psychiatrist. A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a number of large industries and estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism.

'Very few people were true Nazis,' he said, 'but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come.

My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.

We are told again and again by 'experts' and 'talking heads' that Islam is the religion of peace and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace.

Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the specter of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.

The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honor-kill. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers.

The hard, quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority, the 'silent majority,' is cowed and extraneous. Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority was irrelevant. China's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet. And who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were 'peace loving'?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason, we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points: peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence. Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from Germany, they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late.

Now Islamic prayers have been introduced into Toronto and other public schools in Ontario, and, yes, in Ottawa too while the Lord's Prayer was removed (due to being so offensive?) The Islamic way may be peaceful for the time being in our country until the fanatics move in.

In Australia, and indeed in many countries around the world, many of the most commonly consumed food items have the halal emblem on them. Just look at the back of some of the most popular chocolate bars, and at other food items in your local supermarket. Food on aircraft has the halal emblem, just to appease the privileged minority who are now rapidly expanding within the nation's shores.

In the U.K, the Muslim communities refuse to integrate and there are now dozens of "no-go" zones within major cities across the country that the police force dare not intrude upon. Sharia law prevails there, because the Muslim communities in those areas refuse to acknowledge British law.

As for us who watch it all unfold; we must pay attention to the only group that counts -- the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

Lastly, anyone who doubts that the issue is serious is contributing to the passiveness that allows the problems to expand.

And we are silent...

Obama's Benghazi B.S. - Death, lies and videotape (Video)

After watching the hearing on Benghazi it make me wonder how members of the Obama administration and congressional Democrats can look at themselves in the mirror each morning!

For these people the deaths of four Americans are merely a political game in which lying, covering-up the facts and stonewalling are simply part of the rules.

Unfortunately, in their game the security of the United States and the safety of our people is not one of the requirements for winning.

Only political expediency is.

Just once it would be refreshing to see members of the media and the Democrat Party put country first and actually attempt to get to the bottom of the Benghazi scandal.

And what about the concept of devoting as much coverage to the Benghazi hearing as the media is devoting to stories basically meaningless in the schemes of our lives such as the verdict in the Jodi Arias murder trial?

Is any of this possible in the scheme of today's political and media environment? Most likely not!
