*from Kalibo Airport 3 star bus ride for 1 hour and 45 mins and then comfortable boat transfer from Caticlan Jetty Port to Cagban Port on Boracay next Island cab straight to our hotel; it's round-trip, all-in includes terminal fee and environmental fee covered! )

BUT this rate only works in January, rate changed on February because it's gonna be super high peak.
And also on Amihan season!

* Is it safe? Safe weh, insyaAllah niat baik kita di tempat orang maka baik lah kita disana. Police dia di merata-rata tempat, especially when they having late-night party. No smoking on the beach or else you will get fined! No bring drinks at White Beach, their Beach police always patrolling 24 hours! Police biasa pun ada, kadang kadang kat celah-celah gelap kat D'Talipapa pun ada dia jaga. So, rasa secured so far.

* You need to walk, walk, walk. Refrain yourself from riding tuk-tuk, you might get to pay higher than you should be! Just walk and enjoy your 360 degree view. Tengok gelagat sekeliling anda, mana tahu jumpa jodoh kahkah!

* Before pergi, download Muslim Pro app in Appstore. Android idk.
-Alert to the waktu solat according to waktu in Malay, Aklan.

First day
KUL-KLO at 10.30 am delayed to 10.45 am, *due to refueling.
- arrived at Kalibo International Airport at 2.45 pm.
- our pickup service waiting outside the airport.
*be careful to those suddenly grabbed your luggage and begging for tips.

Last day
KLO-KUL at 3.30 pm but pickup have to do at earliest 8.30 am due to Kalibo is having Ati-Atihan Festival, and causing traffic jammed.
*arrived early at the airport at 1.30 pm but have to wait....
*airport got WIFI but provided only one hour usage only.
-Lapangan terbang dia kecik gila, all arrival is in the same place; departure international is nearby arrival gate. When you arrived, you would see departure for domestic flight.

Second Day, 23 Jan 2016

Breakfast at the hotel - bread + scramble eggs.
*start helmet diving at 9.00 am but local tour guide picked us up at 8.30 am
*we late cause we go for breakfast for 10 mins, Michael picked us up at hotel and we walked straight to Station 3 to get us on a boat to go to Helmet Diving station in the middle of the sea!

Waiver liability : PhP 300-

*dive in for 20 mins (jari dah kecut!)

It was the best moment in my entire life, I don't know how deep down to the ocean bed because it was too much pressure in my ear when I slowly diving down..

*instructions given before we dive in by local guide.
- First, learn gestures to know your current condition under water from time to time.
(obviously, you can't talk under there)
- Second, ayu going to first dive in, diver help us until our feet reaching the ocean bed.
*seriously, the fishes was so beautiful! and there is so many of them. That feeling when they eat bread straight from your hand is something I can't forget. SubhanaAllah, it was beautiful things I ever seen.

9.56 am finished first activity of helmet dive

*going back to hotel, shower and refresh.

-Walking along White Beach's path to D'mall.
*bear in mind, barang-barang kat D'mall sangat sangat lah mahal. cause there's so many boutiques, shades, rare souvenirs and all best restaurants. (Ada yang halal, just choose)
*since we have to be fussy about food, so we decide to eat at Arabic restaurant nearby Budget Mart.

Beef Kabsah : PhP 490-
Minute Maid : Php 65-

-after that, I would still want to hunt for Jonah's famous milkshakes at Station 1. It was seriously sedap nak mampuih.

Tropical milkshake : PhP 120-

-Walking back to hotel, rest.

3.30 pm
- Michael picked us up on tricycle for ATV ride to Mount Luho.
Instructions given; do not overtake, refrain yourself from speeding, obey your instructor.

one thing they don't tell you what to do if any emergency happened, I had ATV accident on the way down from the Mount Luho, brake isn't working. It was scary moment I ever had, I had to make decision fast! Or else I would crash into Ayu therefore I crash myself towards mountain's cliff. Just terbalik je dengan ATV, bangun bangun ara pandang je ATV yang ara naik tu. Marah nak mampuih awat lah hang brake putus tengah tengah turun bukit, cb. Nasib baik bukit landai tak macam bukit securam ara masa test jpj.

*injured then it's the company fault and they brought me to nearby clinic. I was worried more about that we missed parawsailing activity. hahahah! I got an x-ray on my left knee, alhamdulilah Dr said nothing serious just muscle injured, no dislocation, no bone fracture. Slowly, heavy bruises appeared on my right leg, left knee, scratches on left arm, huge impact on my right ribs. Right now, slowly recovering.

Be careful people, when trying extreme sport!

*on Mount Luho, it was priceless view I ever had! I can see the cave that Taylor Swift shooting for her music video's Style and mesmerized look at Bulabog Beach; not to my expectation that there is not so many kitesurfing due to not-so windy weather.

- sempat tengok sunset!

*met Michael's wife, Mai and his three adorable children.
*passing through our hotel, suddenly I request to see sunset and Michael be like, "Okay"
and then suddenly, "Oh my god, I saw my daughter.." hahah! Comei sungguh.

Tips for Michael : PhP 50 - ^ half from me, half from Ayu.

Salamat, Michael! Till we meet again, kahkah still waiting for the free sunset parawsailing ride you promised me! Wait until Boracay's airport is done, I'm sure I will be coming to Boracay bringing my mother along.

-We wanna walking towards Station 1 to buy dinner. Suddenly, we bumped into a lady that introduced us to Kingdom restaurant. I was like "Ya Allah, I've been searching for this restaurant!" I thought I would never find this restaurant.
*memang pun it was hard, jauh nak mampuih from White Beach's path. Boleh sesat kalau takde orang guide.

- Yes, they served bread, toaster to make toast by yourself, butter, juices, scramble eggs.
- We eat scramble eggs + bread (tak berani nak sentuh yang lain-lain)

Second day, 24 Jan
- They served plain rice but not so much lauk can eat. So I go to the kitchen to get them cook scramble eggs just for 3 of us. Kahkah!

Semua pandang weh, "Mana dorang dapat scramble egg eh?" Tulaaa tak bangun pagi woi hahahahahaha

- Tak berani nak minum juices sebab rasa semacam so minum ayaq putih ja.
- PIC pick us up around 8.40 am naik tricycle to Cagban Port, then boat to Caticlan Jetty Port, and then 5 star bus to Kalibo Airport.

5 star bus weh, serious talk weh! Sedap gila tido dengan jalan jammed on the way to airport dekat 2 jam lebih atas bas.

- Sampai airport awal, 1.30 pm. Flight pukul 3.30 pm.

From my mum's kitchen: Classic Tiramisu.

Okay, I tried to make this recipe simple so that everyone can do this easily. Indeed, it's a bit tricky but cooking do needs a lot of patience.

Ingredients that you may need in making tiramisu:

- Mascarpone cheese

- Vanilla Pastry Cream

- Whipped Cream

- Zabaglione.

DAY 1:

Firstly, you have to make Mascarpone Cheese 'cause this one rarely available in Malaysia. So, instead of buying one that's probably expensive, you might want to try to do it on your own.

It's easy, believe me.

Ingredients:

If you use this one, one carton is already 250 ml, so just need one more carton.

How to make Mascarpone Cheese:

First you need one carton of whipping cream and 1-2 of lemons.

1. You need a double-boiler, let the water boiling for a while then maintained the heat to medium-low so that the water barely simmering.

2. Pour the whipping cream into medium heat resistant bowl and placed it onto the boiler.

3. Heat the cream, stirring often. Wait until small bubbles appears on the surfaces.

4. It takes about 15 mins. Then, add up lemon juice and continue heating them up.

5. You must stirring gently, until the cream curdles. (kental like mcm liat or custard-like textures!)

6. To know that is done, it will cover a back of your wooden spoon thickly.

7. Remove the bowl from the water and let it cool for 20 mins.

8. Next, you will need dampened cheesecloth (kain kasa) and set it over a bowl.

9. Then, transfer the mixture just now into the cheesecloth.[Don't squeeze it]
10. Once cooled completely, cover up with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight or to 24 hours.

The dampened cheesecloth would looks like this one.

After an overnight or even 24 hours period, the mascarpone cheese would looks like this one.

Secondly, in making zabaglione.

You'll need :

- 2 large egg yolks

- 3 tablespoons sugar

- 1/4 cup of coffee

- 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract/ essence

- 1/2 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest (kulit limau)

How to make zabaglione?

1. Heat water in double-boiler or you can make it on your own style but make sure the pot below is more smaller than the bowl on top of it.

2. Pour in water abour an inch and let it boiling until it simmering.

3. Make sure the bottom of the top bowl don't touch the water.

4. In a large mixing bowl, mix together the egg yolks, sugar, coffee, vanilla extract/essence, lemon zest.
5. Whisk together until the yolks are fully blended (sampai dah tak nampak kuning telur, pale yellowish mixture)
6. Makes sure the mixture looks smooth
7. Transfer the mixture to the top of a double boiler with simmering water.
8. Cook the egg mixture over low heat, stirring constantly for about 8 mins (it'll be resemble thick custard)
9. Bubbles a bit as it reaches that consistency.
10. Let it cool to the room temperature. Transfer into a bowl and let it chill in the refrigerator for an overnight.

This is zabaglione would look alike.

Thirdly, in making vanilla pastry cream.

You'll need:

- 1/4 cup sugar

- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

- 1/2 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest

- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract/ essence

- 1 large egg yolk

- 3/4 cup whole milk

How to make it?

1. Mix together the sugar, flour, lemon zest and vanilla extract in a saucepan.

2. then, add the egg yolk and half the milk.

3. Whisk until smooth.

4. Place the saucepan over low heat and cook, stirring constantly to prevent the mixture from curdling.

5. Add the remaining milk a little at a time, stirring constantly.

6. After about 12 mins, the mixture will be thick, free of lumps and beginning to bubble.

7. Transfer the pastry cream into a bowl and let it cool to the room temperature.

8. Cover with plastic film and refrigerate at least 4 hours or an overnight.

Whipped cream - you can either buy it or make it. I would choose to buy it.

Whipped cream.

Day 2:
Okay, now we have come to the step to assemble the tiramisu.

1. Get ready the serving dish

2. Mix together the warm espresso (kopi yang pekat without sugar) along with 1 tablespoon of sugar in a different bowl.

3. Whisking it to mix well.

4. Set aside to let it cool.

On the other side,

1. In a large bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese with a spoon/ spatula to break the lump and make it smooth.

2. Make sure it is easier to fold.

3. Add in the prepared and chilled zabaglione and vanilla pastry cream, blending until just combined.

4. Set aside.

---> Start assembling the tiramisu in the serving dish.

(must workings quickly)

1. Dips 12 of ladyfingers in sweetened espresso or any coffee will do. (these ladyfingers or known as savoiardi, you could buy in any mart. Don't worry)

2. They should be moist.

3. Placing them side by side in a single row.

4. Use rubber spatula - spread the mixtures of mascarpone cheese, zabaglione and vanilla pastry cream earlier on top of the dipped ladyfingers that has been placed in the serving dish. (spread the tiramisu cream evenly).

5. Repeat to create 2 more layers.

6. Lastly, cover the top with whipped cream evenly, all the way to the edges.

7. Cover the serving dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate the tiramisu overnight.

---> To serve:

1. Sprinkle the tiramisu with cocoa powder by using fine-mesh strainer.(penapis serbuk koko and dinasihatkan: use a little amount of cocoa powder so that the bitterness of your tiramisu is just nice)

One Classic Tiramisu is done.

The one that I have been made.

Simple Lasagna - From my Mum's kitchen

Wee, semester break for my Semester 2 nearly finish. But today I got the chance to update my blog as a first post for Year 2013. Happy New Year everyone, I hope it's not that late to wish all of you. So, for today's post I'm going to post a recipe - Should I say my secret recipe learnt from my mum :)

Well, I love to modify any recipe that I found. Heh my habits when it comes to cooking xD
Okay people, as I said it before it is easy but needs a lot of patience.

" I'm just someone who loves to cook, not a perfect one like Anna Olson. "

To make a lasagna, you need one or two packets of minced meat. But I would suggest you in order to make a good lasagna, you can buy minced meat in the supermarket on the day you want to cook it. It's like fresh, so it will taste different from the one you have been keeping in the fridge.

Now, after you taking out the minced meat out of its plastic, make sure you washed under running tap, not 100% clean from the blood, just wash it like that. 50-50

Put the meat aside. Be creative when you cook, find something that could combine just nice with the meat, like potatoes? Peel 3-4 potatoes and cut it alike wedges-cut. As thinner as possible.

Back to the minced meat, that is left aside.Set up a frying pan with hot heated-up oil. I would prefer vegetable oil. And then pour inside the minced meat, let it boiled.

So, to be a good cook, you must do two things in one time. *chuckles. Back to the potatoes.

As you can see, I set the potatoes are boiling with herbs. This is one of my Mum's secret recipe. But I would recommend you to plant your own herbs plant like my mum did. She planted Basil, Rosemary and Mints.

So, in my case. I love to use Master Foods product. This product quite popular so don't worry, you could find it in any super market.

Keeps on waiting for your meat to completely boiled, keeps on stirring it until turns like this one.

How to make sure of it is complete boiled? There, you can see oil on the surface of the minced meat.

And don't forget about the potatoes, make sure it is boiled too as it become soft as if we're going make mashed potatoes.

Then back to the meat. Once it becomes like the picture above, pour in pasta sauce that you love. For me, I use Prego, Tomato Basil Garlic.

One may asks me: ' How much pasta sauce that you're going to put in? '

Well, to me, quantity of the pasta sauce is ideal blend nicely with the amount of the meat. Just add one-bit-to-one bit until you feels it is perfect enough. And don't forget to taste it, is it enough tasty or should be added more salt or something. Like this one, below. The one already half-way cook.


And need to remind, *don't put too much* *oil. Not good for health though it is the most quality healthy oil you ever had. So this one, already half-way cook. And I did remove excess oils from this one 'cause it can give bad appearance* to your lasagna.

Ahah, this minced meat already cook. Nice one isn't it?

Get-yourself-ready, now we have come to next step, quite significant in making a lasagna.

This, where we're going to cook the lasagna. Spread any butter or I prefer, margarine. Spread it all over like this. Don't too much and too less, just nice.

In the meanwhile, prepare a boiling water to boil a lasagna skin. Or known as lasagna's layers.

For the the lasagna's layers, you may use any product brand, anything will do 'cause I can't recommend which one is the best. As for my mum, she use this one.

Teehee, don't cook overlapping like this. Just do the boiling of these skin one-by-one.

Okay, we have come to step of layering the lasagna. To me, every layer has different ingredient inside it. Not like common lasagna you would see that everyone does. It's just for fun though. No offense to anybody.

The G-level -- Should I say underground level? lol I put the skin as the base then layer by the minced meat.

Okay, these two are important ingredients in layering the lasagna -- Prego, Cheese & Herbs and also Cheese ( don't worry, it is a Halal product and it is not syubhah foods) . I'll tell you later, how I am going to put these into the lasagna.

This is still on the G-Level, it is just I added Prego, Cheese & Herbs sauce on it.

Then, I layer it off with minced meat, make it as packed as possible by pressing it by using spoon.

Okay, this one. I grate some cheese and sprinkle it all over the meat just now.

Then, I overlapping all the cooked-potatoes and sprinkle it back with grated cheese.

Before I cover it with meat, I layer in a lasagna's skin. Then I layer it off with meat (which is the one you see right now).

There, I layer-in a layer of the lasagna skin.

Last step. Cover up the whole lasagna with the rest amount of Prego, Cheese & Herbs sauce.

Then, to add the attractiveness to your lasagna, sprinkle these Parsley flakes on top of your lasagna.

Remember this last step: Cover them up with aluminium foil before bake your lasagna in the oven. The most high temperature should be kept is 250 degree Celcius and heat must be from up and down, so that even heating could be achieved. Time needed to cook is accurately just 45 mins. But it depends actually.

Don't worry much. Keeps on baking your lasagna in the oven until it achieved like this one.

Okay, ara memang dah lama follow them. Kalau lah si Fathi tak cakap pasal video2 ni, I wouldn't knew about 'em. I love all of their vids. They have their own different messages to be deliver in every videos they make. The video I love the most is the one about Poligami, I'm impressed with the way they present the video and how they gained the info 'bout it and the most important, they have their own references, not based on their 'own' idea. Sounds much coolio right?

Ultimately, I love all of their videos. Have fun watching it, and I would be happy to share all of 'em in my blog.

Asasi War Games 2012

Oh yeah, walaupun dah lama berlalu Asasi War Games ni, I still cherish the moment in that short time of 3 days camping at Kem Lambaian Danau, Jasin, Melaka. Pada 3-5 September 2012, we had a great time indeed even though at first, we were having kind of tiring week of final exam. So, after Algebra's final exam at that morning finished, we had our breakfast at Pusat Asasi Pertanian then bergerak ikut bas masing-masing. Kesian Zulu-ian for Jasin's, kitaorang kena sharing bas so we didn't know our team completely yet. So for myself, I got to share bus with team Sierra. Sebelum bertolak, some of us realised that our Prof Mahiran, Pengarah of Pusat Asasi and Dr Norihan doing some sentimental value by sending us off from UPM.

Once we arrived at Kem Lambaian Danau, Jasin, Melaka, the first impression about that camp was the place are located surrounded by lake. Ada juga penduduk tempatan yang menjalankan ternakan ikan air tawar dan tempat memancing.

AKTIVITI hari pertama (3th Sept):

Ground briefing by the founder of the camp known as Pak Let. He gave us briefing about Kem Lambaian Danau. Beliau memilih Tok Batin (Hafizuddin) yg akan memastikan kebajikan kami semua di kem tersebut dan Mak Dara (Hamizah) yg bertanggungjawab memastikan setiap kumpulan bergilir-gilir membantu di dapur dengan membantu basuh pinggan sambil mengenali orang-orang di dapur yg bertanggungjawab menyediakan makanan kami sebanyak 5 kali sehari.

Seterusnya, aktiviti pasang khemah. Interesting part is there are different name of each camping site, and I got medium-sized camping site named Bukit Kecil which is enough for 6 tents there. Before starting set up the tent, we were given a short demo on how to put up a tent. 3-4 per person for each tent. Rakan sekhemah saya ialah Aqila and Izzah. Selepas itu, para pelajar perempuan diminta berkumpul di Dataran Insan manakala lelaki diminta berkumpul di tempat berlainan.
Pelajar perempuan beratur mengikut kumpulan masing-masing, dan ditugaskan untuk memakai jaket keselamatan. Kemudian, kumpulan 10 hingga 6 bergerak dahulu ke tasik untuk aktiviti Water Confident diikuti kumpulan 5 hingga 1.

Aktiviti ini khas untuk melatih daya keyakinan ketika waktu-waktu kecemasan semasa kem ini berlangsung kerana terdapat beberapa aktiviti yg dijalankan di tasik tersebut. Antara cara-caranya ialah terapungkan diri di atas permukaan air dengan tenang. Ia penting untuk tidak panik supaya anda terus terapung dan tidak tenggelam. Kemudian, kami membuat bulatan apabila sampai di tempat fasilitator berada lebih kurang 50 m dari tepi tasik. Kami juga diajar tentang teknik-teknik berenang yang betul. Bagi pelajar lelaki, difahamkan mereka berjogging ke luar kem dan berkumpul di sebuah kawasan lapang. Mereka diberi aktiviti Pertandingan Fotogenik. Ianya bertujuan untuk melatih pelajar berfikir secara pantas tentang apa-apa perlakuan atau pergerakan yang menggambarkan tema kumpulan masing-masing iaitu, Alpha Ayam, Bravo Beruk, Charlie Cacing, Echo Elephant, Oscar Orang Utan, Sierra Siput, Romeo Rabbit, Zulu Zebra, Tango Tikus dan Delta Dubuk.

Pada malam pertama, berkumpul di Dewan dan memulakan aktiviti Ice Breaking. Kami diberi masa lebih kurang 30 minit dan ditugaskan untuk mencipta cheers kumpulan masing-masing. Kumpulan saya, Zulu Zebra yang mengaitkan haiwan Zebra dengan tarian Gangnam Style. Selepas kali kedua mempersembahkan cheers kami kepada Pak Let, baru cheers kami diterima sepenuhnya. Bak kata Pak Let, cheers menggambarkan kerjasama dalam kumpulan dan dinilai mengikut kesungguhan setiap orang di dalam kumpulan tersebut.

Aktiviti seterusnya ialah Night Walk. Tidak dinafikan perasaan takut membelenggu diri setiap orang. Namun, beberapa doa dibaca sebelum bergerak ke tempat berkumpul yang sebenar. Setelah menyusuri jalan masuk ke dalam hutan, dan berkumpul di suatu kawasan yang lapang, kami bergilir-gilir untuk memulakan aktiviti Night Walk. Aktiviti ini adalah antara aktiviti-aktiviti yang menarik kerana ia bermula di sebuah jalan denai dan kami hanya perlu mengikut tali yang disediakan yg diikat pada pokok-pokok. Dengan bantuan cahaya bulan, kami tidak dibekalkan dengan apa-apa seperti lampu suluh. Aktiviti ini bertujuan untuk mengujikan daya ketahanan kita secara fizikal dan mental serta menjadikan kita lebih berani. Pelajar lelaki diarahkan bergerak secara berdua, bertiga dan berempat untuk memulakan aktiviti Night Walk tersebut. Apabila tiba giliran pelajar perempuan, kami diarahkan bergerak secara bertiga, berlima dan ada yang secara berseorangan. Mengikut pengalaman saya, laluan yg kami lalui ada yg dicelah pokok, dan setiap jarak dlm beberapa meter, kami akan berjumpa dgn fasilitator. Ada yg menyorok dan ada yg menyergah, ini kerana memastikan kami berada dlm keadaan normal. Bahagian yg menarik dlm aktiviti Night Walk ini ialah apabila kami berada di penghujung jalan dimana di hadapan kami hanya ada lampu suluh yg terang menyilau seperti jatuh di atas tanah, di sebelah kiri ada pokok yang bergoyang, disebelah kanan ada bunyi yg kurang menyenangkan serta tali yg sudah tiada. Kumpulan saya yang berlima hanya tenang dan ternampak di hadapan sebuah jalan denai yg sgt kecil berhadapan kawasan lapang dimana kesemua yg sudah habis menjalani aktiviti Night Walk sedang memerhati.

AKTIVITI hari kedua (4th Sept):

Tepat pukul 7 pagi, kami berkumpul di Dataran Insan untuk bersedia membuat senaman yg diketuai oleh Pak Let kemudian baru kami bersarapan. Selepas itu, kami berkumpul di dalam kumpulan masing-masing bersama fasilitator untuk taklimat mereka cipta rakit untuk aktiviti Rakit Race. Mengikut kata fasilitator kumpulan Zulu Zebra, Abang Hafiz, tujuan membina rakit secara berkumpulan penting dengan cara bekerjasama memilih buluh yang sesuai, mengikat tali rakit dengan betul dan mengikut arahan fasilitator, cara menyusun buluh-buluh di atas tiub dengan betul. Kesemua aspek-aspek ini penting untuk memastikan rakit tidak rosak ketika menempuh 4 laluan yg mencabar. Kumpulan kami diarahkan untuk bergerak mengikut laluan D, B, C, A. Dengan semangat yg kental, kumpulan Zulu cuba berakit dengan jumlah 6 orang setiap laluan cuba bersaing dengan 4 kumpulan yang lain. Namun, rakit kami pecah apabila tiba untuk laluan yg terakhir iaitu laluan A yg mempunyai cabaran pokok rumpai yg begitu banyak dan menyukarkan pergerakan rakit kami. Kumpulan Zulu hanya mendapat tempat yg kedua terakhir.

Namun begitu, semangat kami tidak pernah pudar. Selepas makan tengah hari, aktiviti seterusnya ialah Danau Exploration Race. Untuk memastikan kami bergerak di atas track yg betul, kami perlu mengikuti laluan yg ada sehelai bendera oren. Aktiviti ini mempunyai beberapa task.
Task 1 ialah OTOS yg membawa maksud 1 Team 1 Spirit. Ianya bermula dgn aktiviti Water-Tubing yg memerlukan 4 orang, 2 orang lelaki dan 2 orang perempuan. Tujuan aktiviti in dijalankan adalah memupuk semangat bekerjasama untuk tidak terpisah antara satu sama lain. Dengan cara kaki dikepit pada tiub orang dihadapan dan tangan bebas berenang menuju ke bendera biru yg bertanda B, dan berenang secara Water-Tubing untuk kembali ke darat. Aktiviti ini agak mencabar dan memerlukan tahap kesabaran yg tinggi.
Task 2 pula ialah kami ditugaskan menjual kuih dalam masa yg singkat dan mengumpulkan duit hasil jualan sebanyak RM 30. Aktiviti ini bertujuan melatih pelajar untuk pandai menarik pelanggan, berjual beli di sekitar kawasan kampung dalam masa yg singkat dan yg paling penting, berbudi bahasa ketika berjual beli.
Task 3 ialah bertempat di kubur, dan kami ditugaskan untuk mencari 5 nama yang meninggal dunia pada tahun yg sama. Tujuan aktiviti ini diadakan untuk menguji daya ingatan dan ketangkasan seseorang.
Task 4 pula bertajuk "Rugi Tidak Tolong Emak di Dapur". Tugas kami disitu ialah dengan berbekalkan 2 helai daun kelapa dan diarahkan menganyam apa-apa makanan disebut oleh fasilitator yg bertugas. Pada mulanya kumpulan Zulu Zebra diarahkan menganyam kuih bingka namun dengan belas ihsan fasilitator disitu, kami diarahkan hanya menganyam ketupat.
Task 5 pula ialah kami dikehendaki menjawab soalan Matematik mengenai soalan Probability. Ianya bertujuan untuk kami berfikiran dengan pantas tanpa menggunakan apa-apa seperti kalkulator.
Task 6 pula bertempat di Grand Canyon. Mengikut arahan yg diberikan, kami berpeluang untuk menjadi orang kampung dengan mengharungi paya lumpur yg sedalam paras pinggang. Kami juga mesti memastikan ada kesan lumpur tidak kira di muka mahupun di tangan.
Task 7 pula tidak jauh dari Grand Canyon dimana kami ditugaskan mempersembahkan cheers kami dgn penuh semangat di hadapan fasilitator yg bertugas sehingga mereka berpuas hati dgn tahap kesungguhan kami.
Task 8 pula bertajuk "Siapa lebih Tinggi". Tugas ini memerlukan beberapa orang untuk membaca mesej di atas kertas berwarna kuning yg ditampal pada pokok yg tinggi. Untuk kumpulan kami, ahli kumpulan kami, Zol dan Tasneem bekerjasama untuk aktiviti ini dan tidak sampai beberapa minit kami sudah menyelesaikan tugas ini.
Task 9 juga tidak jauh dari tempat Task 8. Kami diarahkan merentasi sebuah paya dengan senyap sambil diperhatikan oleh Pak Let. Sekiranya kami gagal bergerak secara berkumpulan dgn senyap, kami akan diarah untuk merentas paya itu sekali lagi. Semangat kerjasama amat diperlukan kerana untuk memberitahu secara berbisik kepada orang di belakang tentang laluan mana yg harus dilalui supaya tidak terlalu dalam, ada batu dan sebagainya. Sampai sahaja di tebing, lumpur disitu agak liat dan untuk naik ke darat amat memerlukan bantuan dari ahli-ahli yg sudah berada di atas tebing dan disitu semangat tolong-menolong ditonjolkan.
Task 10 sebaik sampai ke kem kembali, kami diminta mengumpulkan botol-botol dan batu-batu yg dikutip semasa berhampiran Grand Canyon. Ini sebagai tanda kami berjaya melalui laluan yg mempunyai checkpoint yg tertentu.
Sebaik habis aktiviti Danau Exploration Race, kami beredar ke tasik untuk membersihkan diri selepas itu bersedia untuk aktiviti di malam hari.

Selepas selesai menunaikan solat Jamak Maghrib-Isya', aktiviti yg diadakan ialah BBQ dan juga persembahan dari setiap kumpulan. Kami dihidangkan dengan juadah BBQ yg menyelerakan setelah seharian menjalani aktiviti yg sangat mencabar. Selesai kami berkumpul mengikut kumpulan, kami diberi masa lebih kurang satu jam untuk memikirkan persembahan mengikut tema yg diberikan oleh Pak Let iaitu untuk Kumpulan Zulu Zebra iaitu tema kemerdekaan. Kami mempersembahkan sebuah sketsa mengenai sebuah keluarga yg sedang bersantai menonton televisyen. Di saluran TV yg pertama memaparkan berita yg sedang menghebahkan kpd orang ramai tentang kemerdekaan. Di saluran TV yg kedua pula memaparkan sebuah temu ramah oleh seorang wartawan menemu ramah remaja generasi Y tentang pendapat mereka mengenai makna kemerdekan bagi mereka. Dan terakhir di saluran TV yg ketiga memaparkan sebuah kumpulan koir yg menyanyi lagu 'Tanggal 31 Ogos'. Selepas aktiviti persembahan, penyampaian hadiah diadakan. Kumpulan Zulu memenangi anugerah 'Kumpulan Paling Santai'.Sebelum beredar untuk bersedia untuk tidur, kami diberikan taklimat mengenai War Games dan carta permainan yg siap direka oleh para fasilitator.

AKTIVITI hari terakhir (5th Sept):

Pada pukul 7.30 pagi, kami berkumpul di Dataran Insan dan bersenam mengikut senaman yg direka khas oleh Pak Let. Selepas itu, kami bersarapan di Dewan beramai-ramai seperti biasa. Kemudian, kami berkumpul kembali di Dataran Insan dan diberi taklimat ringkas oleh orang Kanan Pak Let mengenai aktiviti kami yang terakhir iaitu War Games. Terdapat beberapa peraturan yg kami patut patuhi iaitu pelajar lelaki hanya boleh membunuh dengan cara membaling telur ayam dan pastikan pecah pada Jeneral iaitu ketua pihak lawan ataupun lelaki pihak lawan. Hanya perempuan yg berpeluang untuk membunuh Jeneral pihak lawan, lelaki pihak lawan mahupun perempuan pihak lawan. Selepas itu, kami bergerak ke paya lumpur terakhir yg kami telah pergi pada hari kedua. Setiap 10 kumpulan digabungkan menjadi 5 kumpulan. Kumpulan kami Zulu Zebra bergabung dgn Kumpulan Echo Elephant sebagai Kumpulan A. Tujuan yg jelas tentang gabungan kedua-dua kumpulan ini ialah membina semangat kerjasama di antara kedua-dua kumpulan secara pantas dan membina kepercayaan antara satu sama lain dalam mempertahankan Jeneral masing-masing. Kumpulan A ini berjaya hingga ke semi-final namun tidak berjaya untuk masuk ke final. Namun begitu, kenangan berperang di dalam lumpur amat berharga dan tidak boleh dilupakan.

Selepas habis War Games, kami bergerak beramai-ramai ke tempat lapang untuk mengeringkan badan masing-masing sebelum bergerak ke arah tasik membersihkan diri masing-masing. Kemudian, selepas habis makan tengah hari dan solat jamak, aktiviti penutup bermula. Aktiviti penutup bermula dengan ucapan penghargaan dari Pak Let, ucapan dari Tok Batin dan juga ucapan dari Pengarah Pusat Asasi Pertanian, Prof Mahiran. Seusai aktiviti penutup, penyampaian hadiah bagi pemenang keseluruhan aktiviti diberikan kepada kumpulan Delta Dubuk. Kemudian, kami dipulangkan kembali barang-barang berharga seperti handphone dan dompet. Kami bergerak ke bas masing-masing. Sebelum bas-bas mula bergerak, kami mengambil kesempatan bergambar di hadapan Kem Lambaian Danau bersama fasilitator masing-masing.
Pada lebih kurang pukul 5 petang, akhirnya kami sampai di Universiti Putra Malaysia dengan selamat.

Well, I love watching this drama. They said it's Hana Kimi's drama Korean version hah I love it! But throughout this drama, I realised the star casting in this drama are most of SM's artist.

aaa Sulli so cute, a girl with a boy who adores her in quiet that Eun Gyul, and another guy admires her all this while that the new cast, then all of sudden, Minho likes her. What a cute love story ;)

Here's the interesting background about this drama.
On 10 March 2011, SM Entertainment announced that they had acquired the rights to the manga, "Hana Kimi" and would be filming its Korean adaption. Representatives revealed, "The Korean version will have a total of 16 episodes that draw out stories of hopes and dreams. It’s a teenage comedy with a cute, but strong storyline and a slew of handsome cast members. We’re planning to begin airing it this summer."
Rumors circulated that SHINee's Choi Minho and f(x)'s Sulli would portray the two leads and on April 26, 2012 it was confirmed that they had been casted in the lead roles. It was also announced that Jun Ki-sang would be directing and that it would air in the latter half of the year on SBS. On May 24th, 2012 the title was revealed to be "To The Beautiful You" and would be written by Lee Young-chul, screenwriter of the High Kick! series. On June 6th, ZE:A's Kwang-hee was confirmed for the drama and that Infinite's L was reviewing the offer to join, as he would have to juggle overseas schedules with filming.On June 7th Seo Jun-young was confirmed to be part of the cast. On June 8th, it was announced that Kang Kyung-joon would be cast as the cool, but comical track coach, Ki Tae-young as the school nurse who discovers Jae-hee's identity, Lee Young-eun as a teacher caught in a love triangle with the two, Kang Ha-neul as Tae-joon's rival, and Ahn Hye-kyung and Lee Han Wee were also cast. After previous discussions for the role, Lee Hyun Woo was finally confirmed as Cha Eun-gyul. Kim Ji-won was cast June 14thand Yoo Min-kyu was announced to play Young-mahn on July 10th.
The first script reading took place on June 7th at the SBS Ilsan Production Center. On July 9th, Minho, Sulli, Kwanghee and members of were spotted taking part of a photoshoot for the drama. In preparation for his role as Tae-joon, Minho received personal training from coach Kim Tae-young, former national high jump athlete and a member of the Korea Association of Athletics Federations, for a month and a half.His personal record at the end of July was 175 cm.Filming began at the beginning of July.In an interview with Vogue Girl Korea, Minho confirmed that the drama would broadcast on August 15th, rather than the initially scheduled August 8th. Hankuk Academy of Foreign Studies was used to film for the all-male school, Genie Athletic High School, and Anmyeondo was used to film the summer vacation scenes. The first scene Choi Min-ho filmed was a high jump scene. For the high jump scene, 105 high-speed cameras were used to film the high jumping in bullet time.

Oh well, well. Surprises.

Too much happened to me lately.
Some are great and some are not.
I scored 122 pins in Bowling for 1 game which is I can play my fav game as usually I do and I didnt have any backpain like I used to.
I start to schedule my time which is my lazyness had gone away and never came back, I hope?
Now, I feel carefree about lab reports because I'm busy with preparing presentations.
I had checked my smp and I got quite great result. I guess that study in groups really improving.
I start to missing my parents which means I love them so much and afraid to lose them but if Allah love them so much and take them away, I'm ready to take care of my siblings very well and I must eye on them until they success in their life.
Now I know the true colour of life, dont ask me how but you must go through it to know 'life' better.
Amazing is I missed my third brother da** much, it is quite funny cause when he's home. Our fav activity is quarelling.

Thank you Allah, because inside me there is always a voice that leads me to a better life. I'm saying this because every time I had the urge to try new thing which is not good to me.
And everything happened to me, I know there are many reasons that I didn't know but He knows.

Until here, need to go.

It's my first er no second drama in my waiting list. I haven't finish watching it yet and I tried to search the best link for this drama and yeah! I got it.

So, here's the interesting plot for all of you who are interested for this drama.
18-year-old Kang Gyung-Joon's (Shin Won-Ho) spirit suddenly finds itself in the body of 30-year-old Seo Yoon Jae (Gong Yoo) . Seo-Yon-Jae is a successful doctor and engaged to high school teacher Gil Da-Ran (Lee Min-Jung). Gil Da-Ran just so happens to be the teacher of 18-year old Kang Gyung-Joon. More problems ensue when 30-year-old Seo Yoon Jae falls in love with another woman (Bae Suzy).

Da-Ran (Lee Min-Jung), currently preparing to take for her teacher's exam, goes to a wedding hall to deliver a bouquet. When she hands over the bouquet Da-Ran discovers the bride is a friend of hers. Da-Ran also makes the uncomfortable realization that she wasn't invited to her friend's wedding. She stays at the wedding and gives money to the couple as a wedding gift. Da-Ran then eats lunch at the wedding alone. She then receives a phone call that the bouquet was delivered to the wrong bride and she needs to get it back. Da-Ran attempts to catch the bouquet at the end of the wedding, but bumps into a man named Yoon-Jae (Gong Yoo). Due to the bump, Da-Ran falls down the stairs and is hospitalized. As fate has it, her doctor at the hospital is Yoon-Jae, the man she bumped into at the wedding. Their relationship develops into a romantic relationship and one month later they plan to get married.
Now, Da-Ran works as a temporary teacher at a high school, while preparing for her exam to become a teacher. When she goes to work on the bus, she listens to her own story that she wrote in to the radio station. Da-Ran gets off the bus and a young man Gyung-Joon (Shin Won-Ho) gets off at the same bus stop. Da-Ran mistakenly believes the young man likes her. It turns out that Da-Ran took his umbrella on the bus and Gyung-Joon is a student at the high school where she works. High school student Gyung-Joon lived in the United States with his mother, but after his mother died came back to South Korea.
Da-Ran's wedding approaches and she is excited, but Yoon-Jae acts differently. Yoon-Jae seems to be avoiding Da-Ran. On the day they are to look for a new home, Yoon-Jae calls that he can't make it and Da-Ran bursts into tears. She asks if Yoon-Jae really loves her or just feels responsible for her and then hangs up. She doesn't know what to do. Then, her student Gyung-Joon sees her and takes her on a ride on his motorcycle. They go out to a lake, outside of Seoul. While looking at the water, Yoon-Jae calls Da-Ran and tells her that he will give her the answer to her question. Meanwhile, Gyung-Joon gets back on his motorcycle and leaves.
Yoon-Jae drives out to meet Da-Ran by the lake. Meanwhile, Gyung-Joon is leaving the area on his motorcycle. As the two approach each other, an accident occurs in front of them. They both try to avoid the car crash and both drive into the water.
As Yoon-Jae's car sinks deeper into the water, he manages to get out of the car, but sees high school student Gyung-Joon sinking past him. Yoon-Jae grabs him and goes back up to the surface.
At the hospital, Yoon-Jae is declared dead. Da-Ran rushes to the hospital and cries in front of the hospital mortuary. Then, Yoon-Jae suddenly wakes up. When he sees himself in the mirror he is shocked. He has Yoon-Jae's body, but his mind is that of high school student Gyung-Joon. He walks out of the mortuary and sees Da-Ran crying in the hallway. Da-Ran is so happy to see Yoon-Jae alive, but he insists that he is Gyung-Joon. Gyung-Joon then wonders where his body is and finds that his body is unconscious and in the hospital. Gyung-Joon starts to panic and walks out of the hospital.
Da-Ran finds out Gyung-Joon's address and goes there. She finds Yoon-Jae's body laying down in the high school student's bed. She realizes that Gyun-Joon's mind is indeed in the body of her fiance Yoon-Jae.

Alhamdulilah, it's been 2 months here I am in Unversity Putra Malaysia. I never thought I could survive until this far. Anyway, it is fun here yet really have to struggle in striving flying colours in my academics.

As I always thought like this before , "Is it easy?" Comparing me and other foundation's student, I think mine is more preparing towards a Degree's student.

Recently, I got my test 1's result. Geez, it is hard to get an A. Maybe I don't study much or I didn't understand that much or ... *speechless

I wonder how my lecturers mark my paper. Follow their mood or ..?
If only I could see how to attract marks in test. In few weeks then it is final. My goodness, time flies so fast. I'm nearly finishing my first semester here.

Doa tadi selalu dibacakan ketika aku gusar kerana keputusan ujian 1. Kadang-kadang buntu untuk memikirkan cara-cara untuk belajar di sini.

The question that keeps popping in my mind, how does the one who got flying-colours result studies. I wonder how.

Now, I'm on my Test 2's exam week. Ahh my physic starting tomorrow's night. Chapters covered in that test ..yeah not very much but still. haaa I can do it! Jyeah. Being positive is the most important. I really have to score this one. Play the game smart!

One more thing, July is my birth's month. Teehee. I really hope no one pranks me which I don't like it much. But I like to prank people hoho that's my problem. So that's my post for today.

Ah, the end is here! I suspect this episode made most if not all fans very happy, as it tied up the plot in a light-hearted but satisfactory way that was in keeping with the tone of the drama. It’s too bad that things didn’t get really compelling until about Episode 10 (then stepped it up with Episode 12 on — incidentally when Yura took a big step backward — coincidence? I think not) — which is frankly rather late for me to be connecting with a drama.

It’s to the actors’ credit that their amusing and sweet interactions were able to carry the plot until the story finally managed to tap into that emotional place with Min-woo’s growth as a father and as a person. I’m just glad that this one ended on a high note, because so many finale episodes feel like a letdown — they’re either too rushed or dragged out as an extended epilogue.

FINAL EPISODE RECAP

Min-woo asks Kae-hwa to be Ye-eun’s mother, explaining that he had purposely waited to ask her until after the musical premiered. Nobody could be as good a mother to Ye-eun as she is, “And I need you. Let’s marry.”

(Omo! Usually when episodes end on cliffhangers, the next episode drops the tension back down, but in this case they just upped the ante.)

Kae-hwa is stunned, but Min-woo adds, “I’m not saying this out of the blue. I’ve thought this over seriously for a long while. Think it over, then give me your answer. I can wait as long as you need.”

Min-woo is invited along for a celebratory drink with The Show Co. staff, and Jae-hee remarks that it feels like Min-woo’s a part of their office family now, seeing as he has come to all their gatherings. Min-woo smiles and, while looking at Kae-hwa, says pointedly, “I think so too. It feels like a family.”

He’s extra solicitous to her, offering little things like napkins and such, which Shi-joon finds amusing while Kae-hwa is exasperated. When the others urge her to drink more, Min-woo swoops in to play the “black knight,” i.e, drink for her.

Min-woo’s behavior is so noteworthy that Jae-hee asks teasingly if their fake scandal is actually real. Kae-hwa blurts, “No!” just as Min-woo answers, “Yes.” (Such a mixed reaction makes the others think there’s more to this relationship than they’re letting on, and they exchange knowing looks.) Kae-hwa rises to leave early because of the kids, and Min-woo hurriedly excuses himself too, accompanying her out.

Kae-hwa is impatient with his exaggerated attentiveness, and says that she’ll give her answer now: “I’m not going to marry again.” He asks her to think about it some more, but she replies that a lot of thought has already gone into making this decision (not to remarry).

A bit indignant, he says it’s cowardly to swear off marriage because her first one failed. Maybe she just met the wrong guy the first time — it’s always possible she’ll meet a good person the second time around.
Kae-hwa replies that she doesn’t want to entertain such an expectation, and besides, she has Min-ji. He counters that a daughter isn’t a husband — and once Min-ji grows up and gets married, will she be fine being alone? That makes her pause briefly, but she reasserts her stance.

Min-woo: “Are you that afraid?”
Kae-hwa: “Yes, I am! Do you know what marriage is?”
Min-woo: “‘What do you know when you have no life experience?’ Is that what you’re telling me?”
Kae-hwa: “You haven’t been hurt so you don’t know. You don’t know what that pain is of promising to love each other for the rest of your life and having that shattered. So please don’t talk to me about marriage again. I’m sorry to say it like this.”

She walks off, leaving him pondering her words.

Kae-hwa’s words make him look deeper into the cause of her resistance. Thus the next morning, he intercepts Byung-hak just as the latter is leaving his house (humming “Sorry Sorry” in a meta moment, lol).

Min-woo gets to the point, asking aggressively what the heck Byung-hak did to Kae-hwa to make her swear off marriage forever. Byung-hak returns that this is hardly his concern, but Min-woo says it matters “because it’s a hindrance to her marrying me.”

Byunk-hak’s reaction is pure confusion: “Why?” Why would he want a woman like Kae-hwa when he’s a star? Min-woo presses on with his question, which elicits a roundabout answer about how she’s a difficult and tiring woman to live with. Min-woo watches with narrowed eyes, reading between the lines — he cheated, huh?

Defensively, Byung-hak turns it around on Kae-hwa, saying she doesn’t know how to make herself pretty; it felt like he was living with a housekeeper. In fact, he never bought even her flowers — not because he forgot or anything, but simply because he never felt inspired to buy them for her. You know, since looks are the only reason for loving a woman and all. (I’m not even offended by this comment, because Byung-hak is such a silly idiot that the sentiment has no sting coming from him.)

Min-woo asks if he ever apologized for hurting her. Byung-hak laughs, saying it’s embarrassing to do that. Min-woo tells him firmly, “Apologize to her. Ask her officially for her forgiveness.” Byung-hak finds this an odd demand coming from Min-woo, who replies, “I’m asking as the man who loves her.”

Now that Min-woo has made up his mind to woo Kae-hwa, he gets busy trying to win her over. For instance, he waits outside her apartment to give the girls a ride to school, and reacts in concern to hear Kae-hwa hasn’t eaten breakfast. After dropping off the girls, he takes her to a fancy buffet, where he even serves her.

Kae-hwa worries over the pricy food, trying to convince him to watch his spending because he must have lost a lot of money in the cancelled endorsement deals. Min-woo answers matter-of-factly that they probably add up to about 3 billion won ($2.5 million), but is unfazed. He’s got money in the bank and is confident he can get more work; he’ll consider this a luxurious hiatus from work.

Unimpressed, Kae-hwa urges him to adopt a frugal attitude and says she’s better off than he is, since at least she has a regular salary.

At work, a huge arrangement of red roses is delivered, addressed to Kae-hwa from Min-woo. While the other employees all smile at her knowingly, Kae-hwa tries to explain it away in innocent terms: “Can’t this be a thank-you?” They don’t buy it for a second.

Min-woo sends her a text, which is totally over-the-top and ridiculous (“More beautiful than a flower… Kae-hwa”). Embarrassed and uncomfortable, Kae-hwa says she’ll clear the flowers out of the office and takes them to the stairwell, thinking Min-woo is being shameless. But they do bring a smile to her face, as it’s been ages since she’s received flowers from anyone (which is why Min-woo made the gesture in the first place, in reaction to Byung-hak’s remark).

Next, Min-woo takes a cake to Bok-nim in thanks for treating Ye-eun, then asks for a favor, as she is a friend to Kae-hwa. His statement that “I’m intending to marry Yoon Kae-hwa” so shocks her that Bok-nim drops her coffee and stares at him incredulously.

Bok-nim rushes to ask Kae-hwa about it, wanting to know when the wedding is. She dismisses Kae-hwa’s grumbling that he’s just a kid — 28 is plenty grown-up, and the seven-year age difference is nothing. How can she let a guy like him slip through her fingers?

Kae-hwa grumbles that Min-woo’s proposal asked her to be Ye-eun’s mother, not his wife. Bok-nim sees through Kae-hwa’s complaining and smiles: “You really do like Min-woo.” That’s why she’s disappointed over the wording of his proposal, right? Bok-nim waves aside her resistance, saying that if they like each other, what’s the big deal? In her eyes, Min-woo is serious about her.

Min-woo takes the family out to a nice restaurant. Kae-hwa is self-conscious about coming to a place like this where they’ll be watched, but Min-ji enjoys eating out for once, and Min-woo tells her that it doesn’t matter to him. He pats Ye-eun on the head, saying, “I’m going to raise her proudly, since she’s my daughter.” Which is probably the most effective thing he could have said to impress her, and she allows herself to look at him with moony eyes (but only when he’s not looking back at her).

When Kae-hwa takes Ye-eun to the bathroom, Min-woo tries to make conversation with Min-ji. He sees this as a chance to suss out her thoughts and asks if she’d like having a sister like Ye-eun. Min-ji is pretty sharp and asks point-blank, “Are you going to marry my mother?” Her bluntness takes him by surprise, but he confides that he wants to. Still, he has to first hear out Min-ji’s opinion and wait for her mother’s answer.

She asks, “If you end up marrying my mother and then a prettier lady comes along, are you going to divorce my mom?” Min-woo gapes incredulously, but Min-ji points out that he works with beautiful actresses all the time: “If you betray my mother, it’ll be so sad for her.”

He tells her solemnly, “That’ll never happen. I’ll promise that to you.” They pinky-swear on it.

The musical continues its run and after another of Min-woo’s performances, he calls Kae-hwa, who is working late — or at least, she lies that she is. He offers to pick her up from the office, but for whatever reasons (fear, insecurity, nerves), Kae-hwa rejects the offer.

Reporter Han overhears Min-woo muttering to himself after the call, and says knowingly that he must be stuck in an unrequited love. Min-woo is wary, but Reporter Han has some insights about the situation, and his comments pique Min-woo’s curiosity. Wanting to hear more thoughts on his situation, Min-woo goes along with the reporter’s suggestion to grab a drink.

Kae-hwa works late, keeping herself busy to avoid going home right away. Finding her still in the office, Shi-joon offers her a ride home, and they pause for a break to talk. Tentatively, Kae-hwa says she hopes that he and his wife can give things another try, as it seems they still care for each other. Although Shi-joon doesn’t respond, he’s not offended by her statement and in fact seems to consider her words.

He turns the topic to Min-woo, asking how things are between them. Kae-hwa can’t feign ignorance since Shi-joon knows too much, but first she asks how much he knows. He answers, “One person is sending flowers, but the other person doesn’t seem ready to receive them.”

She confirms that Min-woo seems to be serious about a relationship but she’s not sure; she doesn’t feel confident that she can be seen “as a woman” to anybody. Shi-joon tells her she can — enough that he felt something for her for a short while. This stuns her, as he had never given any hint of his interest, but Shi-joon assures her that there is no cause for alarm. He has dealt with his feelings, and things won’t get awkward between them.

Liquor loosens Min-woo’s reserve (and his tongue) enough that he starts to talk freely about his woes, wondering how Kae-hwa can reject his proposal. Grabbing his laptop, the reporter starts to take notes, asking questions about why she rejected him and how long he’s had feelings for her. And I love Min-woo’s answer:

Min-woo: “Since we went looking for Ye-eun. No — since she had to go to the sauna because of me. No — since she fought with Mr. Jung [Yoon-seok]. Or was it from the beginning?”

Reporter Han says he must like her quite a lot, and Min-woo answers, “Yes, an awful lot. She’s different from the women I dated in the past. She’s beautiful. That’s why I think, ‘This is my woman.’” With that, he falls asleep, his head coming to rest on the tabletop.

Huh — well, this is a new side to Min-woo, and the reporter finds him pretty pure-hearted after all. It’s nothing like the partying image he’d had earlier. He starts typing a story about Min-woo’s “heartfelt love story” and uses words like “rebirth as a real actor.”

Han’s article spawns a wave of press, which now portrays Min-woo in a much more down-to-earth, humanistic light. They even declare that he has now washed off the disgrace of his former image as a lousy actor.

Yoon-seok is dissatisfied — I guess this good press does him no good, since he has lost his hold on Min-woo — but everyone else’s opinion of Min-woo makes a drastic upswing. He presents himself modestly in interviews, and even producer Eom is impressed with him. In fact, Eom gives himself credit for having recognized Min-woo’s talents early on, but Byung-hak scoffs since he didn’t do anything about them. Eom counters that he’ll get Min-woo for his next production.

Eom isn’t the only one wanting to cast Min-woo, and Shi-joon conveys an offer to Min-woo from a Japanese producer colleague, who has sent a proposal for Min-woo to take a role in a Japanese drama. Min-woo is pleased with the news, but as soon as he sees that he’d have to live in Japan for a year, he declines. Shi-joon thinks it’s a great opportunity, but Min-woo answers that he has somebody to watch over here.

And that’s not all: Jae-hee hands Kae-hwa some documents to give to Min-woo, which are papers for a new advertising contract offer worth 1 billion won (nearly $1 million). Apparently advertisers love his new image as a dedicated young single father.

Kae-hwa takes the documents to Min-woo’s photo shoot, where he takes a break from posing for a makeup touchup. The makeup artist tells him that his “scandal partner” (Kae-hwa) is really below his level, and offers to introduce him to a younger model friend. She describes the girl as one of those innocent-looking beauties, to which Min-woo answers, “I like sexy women.”

Naturally this is hardly thrilling for Kae-hwa to hear, even though Min-woo is actually making that quip as a way to reject the date. (Rather than saying no outright, saying that he prefers sexy women is a way of declining her friend, who is the opposite.)

Feeling dispirited, Kae-hwa decides not to approach and starts to leave. She runs into Yura, who congratulates her on her relationship and assures her that she has decided to move on.

Kae-hwa hands the envelope to Yura and asks for her to give it to Min-woo, making up the excuse that she’s busy and has to leave. Yura does, and when Min-woo hears the reason, he hurries out and tries to call Kae-hwa. At last she isn’t answering the phone, so he goes to the theater, where he is told she is still back at the office.

Shi-joon finds her on the roof ignoring Min-woo’s phone call, and offers her a beer. In her melancholy mood, Kae-hwa offers to tell Shi-joon a “really funny story” and confides that Min-woo proposed to her. Even funnier is the fact that her heart thrilled to hear it. It was exciting to be seen as a woman again — but today, that feeling was shattered.

I’d assumed she was hurt by the makeup stylist’s dismissive comments about her, but I’m actually relieved that those words weren’t the cause of her mood. In actuality, it was the sight of him in action, looking like a star, that made her feel like they were completely unsuited for each other: “He seemed like someone from another land.”

Shi-joon points out that Min-woo was a star from the start — it’s not like she didn’t know. Kae-hwa answers that at the beginning, he had nothing to do with her so that wasn’t an issue. But as they got to know each other, she saw him struggling and felt sorry for him, and nagged him when he said silly things — and those things felt comfortable and manageable. Now that he’s doing better… it’s like he’s back to being a lofty star and the chasm is growing between them.

Shi-joon tells her that Min-woo likes her very much — enough to give up a drama opportunity for her. “Min-woo has changed this much — shouldn’t you recognize his feelings?”

Min-woo arrives at the office to find it empty, then recalls the roof. He arrives outside just in time to see Kae-hwa wiping away some tears. So much about this situation upsets him, and he strides up to her, grabs her wrist (urg!), and takes her downstairs.

He feels hurt that she has been ignoring his calls and avoiding him, particularly when she knew he was waiting for her — and now she’s here crying in front of Shi-joon — and raises his voice to a yell. Kae-hwa tells him levelly that she has already given him her reply, but he ignored it. No matter how she thinks about it, they don’t suit.

He argues that if he cared about those things — age, status — he would never have liked her from the start. She returns that this is just proof that he’s young, and they should quit while they’re ahead. And he should go to Japan.

That gets his attention: “Is that why?” He explains that he didn’t tell her about the Japan offer because he never intended to go. She takes issue with his high-handedness in dragging her away, saying that she’s ashamed of him when he does that, and gets angry and starts fights out of misunderstandings.

Min-woo asks, “So are you saying you can’t marry me? Are you saying I won’t do because I’m immature and young?” Kae-hwa answers yes. She can’t marry someone who reacts in such unpredictable ways — it makes her feel uneasy. She storms off, leaving him to shout her name in frustration.

You know, I’m actually relieved that they had this fight. They’ve never fought for real, and this addresses issues that they’ve been skirting thus far. It’s also nice to see some real conflict — genuine emotional clashing and hurt feelings — rather than the glib, fluffy sort of conflict that has characterized most of this show.

That night, Byung-hak calls Kae-hwa, who finds him drunk and in a thoughtful mood. To her surprise, he tells her, “I’m sorry.” He acknowledges that he never apologized properly, so he’s doing it now. She did nothing wrong — he’s the bad guy — and they divorced because he wronged her. But he felt too embarrassed to apologize, so he couldn’t do it: “But after listening to Sung Min-woo, I felt I was really wrong, and that I had to apologize. So I came here.”

That surprises her — he met Min-woo? Byung-hak gives Min-woo some credit for the way he had insisted he apologize, admitting that the kid was pretty impressive with the way he said, “As the man who loves Yoon Kae-hwa, please apologize.”

He says it one more time: “Kae-hwa, I’m sorry. I was wrong. I pushed you aside and hurt your feelings — forgive me for everything. Forget that all, and make a new start. And if he upsets you, come and tell me right away, and I’ll give him a scolding.”

(Aww. An unexpectedly touching moment from Byung-hak. As with the last time he defended Kae-hwa, this gives us a glimpse into why they were married in the first place while also showing us why they didn’t work. It’s rare to see ex-spouses in a drama ending on amicable terms, and it’s a nice change.)

Min-woo comes home feeling frustrated, and looks over his drama proposal documents. This gives him an idea, and he starts typing away. And when we see what he’s drafting — gahhh, Min-woo is so cute. I about died reading the title of his document: “Proposal On Living For Yoon Kae-hwa.”

In the morning, he comes to her apartment and gives her the envelope. He looks at her with puppy dog eyes and tells her to give her response after reading it.

Kae-hwa reads Min-woo’s proposal, which is formatted like a business document. In keeping with the theme of the drama proposal packet, he has drawn up Kae-hwa’s resumé, only it’s more like a life resumé than a professional one, outlining her traits and skills such as “she has a loud voice,” “makes killer ddukbokki and kimbap,” and “she likes Kim Myung-min better than Sung Min-woo, but I want to forgive her anyway.” Also of note: she has become a mother to Ye-eun, “and now is the woman in my heart.”

Under the “future plans” column, he has scheduled marriage in a month, a vacation cruise to celebrate their one-year anniversary, and so forth. Byung-hak’s apology had started to melt her resolve, and now she has to smile a teeny bit at Min-woo’s document.

Jung-ah has been offered a job in Daejeon, which is located in central Korea and about a two-hour drive from Seoul. She asks Shi-joon for his approval, suggesting that they need some space between them. As she leaves, she tells him that she realizes she hasn’t been the best wife to him either (I presume she means before the adultery, since otherwise that statement would be met with a resounding DUH).

But the door isn’t closed on them forever — with Shi-joon now opening up more to Jung-ah and realizing his part in driving his wife away, it looks like they’re leaving room for a reconciliation later, after they’ve both healed. Shi-joon even says he’ll go down to visit her on the weekend.

Min-woo performs another show, after which he checks his phone and tries to contain his disappointment that Kae-hwa hasn’t called. To his (happy) surprise, Kae-hwa finds him sitting in the empty theater, here with a much more conciliatory attitude than the last time they saw each other.

As we know, important conversations must always relocate to prettier environs (can you imagine that car ride over to the waterside? Most awkward silence ever).

Kae-hwa apologizes for her harsh words, telling Min-woo that she didn’t mean it when she pushed him away. She asks for his understanding and also thanks him for thinking of her life and her future (i.e., in his proposal) in such a serious way.

Min-woo has been looking pensive and tense throughout her speech, like he’s bracing himself, sensing that she’s ready to deliver her final decision. So it takes a moment for her next words to really sink in, as she tells him:”So I’m thinking of being courageous now. Thanks to you, I think I can do that now.”

She adds that she’d always thought she would just focus on being a solid support for Min-ji’s benefit, “But if things get hard, it’s okay if lean on someone now.” Min-woo smiles and steps forward to hug her gently, thanking her for her answer. Kae-hwa thanks him back for letting her be courageous again.

Min-woo then thanks her for watching over him and Ye-eun all this while. He promises that from now on, he’ll protect her.

And then they get the swirly-camera kiss — which is a nice way to bookend the drama, considering that this is very similar to how we started. Only, now it actually means something.
