Wedding Wednesday: Pictures from Our Wedding Day

2015-11-18T18:02:00.000-08:00

Happy Wedding Wednesday!!

Today I am sharing 4 photos that we got back from our photographers - I'm still patiently waiting for the remaining....

Whenever I look at these photos I tear up.

I know every girl says this about their wedding, but it was seriously the most magical day for me. It's a day I will never forget.

I'm currently trying to make our first Christmas cards as Mr. & Mrs. and I am having a blast and figured I would share these photos on my blog! :)

Ceremony

The following two photos were taken with my father's classic car and at my work. Our pictures after the ceremony weren't suppose to happen here! It actually rained on our wedding day so I had to come up with a place to take pictures the day before our wedding day. Where I work actually holds weddings so I figured pictures inside would be beautiful. Luckily for us, it stopped raining when we got there so we took pictures outside!

So far, I am very pleased with our photos!!!

I cannot wait to get more of them.

Best. Day. Ever.

Weekend Recap: Sephora Holiday Haul, New Drugstore Items, ColourPop Holiday Set, & VIB Wishlist

2015-11-09T18:01:00.002-08:00

Happy Monday!

I apologize for the lack of regular posts. I am trying to kick of my YouTube channel and a lot of my time and effort are going into filming and editing, which is a lot more work than I thought.

I haven't decided if I am going to continue to blog on this blog anymore. I have created a new blog, we will see.

Friday:

Friday I was extremely exhausted so I decided to leave work early, and by early I mean by 3:00... It was a rough week for me.

I snapped this shot at my work when I was leaving. How gorgeous is this?!

Saturday:

I finally finished editing my Sephora haul. I picked up a lot of holiday sets and if you would like to see that video please click here.

After I finished editing I decided to check out Wal-Mart's Halloween clearance. And I wandered into the makeup aisle...

I picked up this Hard Candy eye shadow set for only $6.00. I really like the variety of colors in this palette and can't wait to try it. I'll let you know how I like it.

I'm trying not to use my expensive makeup when I don't need to, so I'm trying to test out more drugstore brands. Any recommendations?

Pure Ice, a brand I typically don't buy, has a new collection of nail polishes. I think the colors are really pretty. I decided to pick up the one on the left. We'll see how it goes...

Has lots of chunky glitter and stars in it.

I also wandered into the Dollar Tree because I was looking for Christmas washi tape for my Erin Condren life planner - no luck. But I did stumble upon a bunch of Essie nail strips!! I only picked up this color but there is a ton more!

Saturday evening I ended my night playing Black Ops III. Yes, I play Black Ops III.

Sunday:

Sunday I decided to bring out this guy. Turkey candle holder is from Bath & Body Works and was free because I had a coupon. Score!

Yesterday I filmed my first ever ColourPop purchase from their new Holiday set, Vixen. There are two other holiday sets but I decided to just go with one for now. They are priced at $30.

If you would like to see the video, review, and swatches please click here.

I hope to do a full review on my blog, but like I said I am considering changing blogs so I may start doing blog posts there. We'll see.

This is a phone picture so the camera really doesn't do the colors justice!

The colors are SUPER pigmented and so creamy.

Sephora VIB Sale starts this Friday for VIB members, it started on the 6th for VIB Rouge members.

I decided to start making my wish list.

Like I really need another eyeshadow palette, but I don't own anything by Makeup Forever because it's so expensive. It's limited edition!!! Plus 20% off!

I'm definitely getting the Formula X Bottle Service nail polish set. This will look so cute on my makeup vanity!

I'm also definitely picking up the Philosophy Gingerbread House. Includes 4 shower gels and 4 lip glosses.

Have a great night!

Weekend Recap: Halloween, Ulta Trip, ColourPop Holiday Released & New Videos

2015-11-02T17:27:00.001-08:00

Happy Monday!

I CANNOT believe it's November!

Where did 2015 go? It's amazing how quickly this year went by for me. It was such a great year for me I couldn't be more thankful.

Friday:

Friday we were able to dress up for work so I decided to go as Minnie Mouse because I thought I had a set of eyelashes I wanted to use that would be perfect for the Minnie Mouse costume - FAIL. I never even bought them, when I thought I did... Hahaha. None the less I still decided to go as Minnie Mouse.

I didn't have an actual costume and I wanted it to be work appropriate so I decided to wear a red skirt, black blazer, and minnie mouse ears I purchased off eBay for only $4.95. I also already had polka dotted pantyhose and did my nails with polka dots. Polka dot overload!

Here's a picture of my whole outfit and a co-worker. Everyone around here are HUGE Penn State fans, so she wore her jersey. :) To the right is my office... just a little sneak peak into my daily life. haha

Friday was date night for the hubby & I. After work we went to Olive Garden because we were both craving it. I had to get my ring inspected so we went to the mall and I snuck in a trip to Ulta. :)

At Olive Garden we shared a pumpkin cheesecake, it was actually very yummy!

Saturday:

I filmed a makeup tutorial on my YouTube channel for my Minnie Mouse costume and I filmed a haul of the Wet N Wild Disney Villians collection. Go check it out! :)

Click HERE for my YouTube channel.

I had to run to Wal-Mart for some things to make dinner and wandered into the makeup aisle. Physician Formula finally released their shimmer line. I took a couple of pictures to show you guys.

I actually picked up the palette below, but haven't used it yet. It was only $8.97!

They also have shimmer eyeliners (I have been using their eyeliner lately and LOVE it) and shimmer gel cream shadows.

This is the actual outfit I sported on Halloween. :)

The sweater is from Kohls.

This is the makeup look I filmed.

Go check it out!

Sunday:

Officially the first day of November and we got an extra hour of sleep. It was beautiful! What did I do with my extra hour? Took a nap for exactly an hour and it was a beautiful thing.

Also, Pandora recently released their holiday line and how adorable is this red nosed reindeer?

I tried Sheetz Reese's peanut butter hot chocolate - YUCK. I don't recommend.

Also, last but not least ColourPop released their holiday sets today! I have been wanting to try their lippies but just haven't and I don't know why. Since they came out with a kit of 6 for only $30 I would pick one up. From what I understand their holiday sets don't stick around long, so if I were you, I would order a set soon. There's also a eyeshadow set(which I'm contemplating) and a gel/liner set. If you purchase all 3 right now they're offering 20% off. But I have my eyes on other things for the upcoming VIB sale that I decided to pass and just get this set.

Anyway to check out their holiday line click here. I used coupon code THANKSBABE for $5 off, which essentially covers the shipping that is $5.

Have a great night!

Weekend Recap: My Birthday Weekend

2015-10-26T17:11:00.001-07:00

Happy Monday!

Today was a long day at work 7:30-6:30. :( It's so nice to sit down and relax.

Plus I'm excited to share some snap shots from my birthday weekend. My birthday was on October 14th, officially my last year in my 20's!

Friday:

As you can tell I caught the hubby off-guard. We're off to Philadelphia! I swear we travel there all the time.

We stopped at a really good diner we like and had a quick bite to eat and our favorite dessert, some good old fashioned rice pudding.

Once we got to Philadelphia we headed to the Lush store because they are having a soft launch of their Christmas items right now. And if you check online a lot of their Christmas items are already sold out. So go get you some!!!

So of course I picked up a bunch of stuff... Video coming soon!

I picked up my favorite smoothie while we were in the mall - California Sensation. MmMmM.

Of course as soon as we got to the hotel I had to try one of the bath bombs. The one I'm using here is Father Christmas which is still available online for only $6.40. I loved it so much I went back the next day and purchased another. This smells SO amazing.

You would think it would turn your bath tub a red color - nope. The inside was a deep green!!!

Saturday:

Saturday we planned on going to King of Prussia and then to Terror Behind the Walls at Eastern State Penitentiary.

This is my CRAZY hair as I'm getting ready. It's so hard to manage, I'm sick of it! Not to mention I forgot my shampoo and conditioner so I was stuck using the hotels brand and it was a crappy one.

Of course I stopped into Sephora while I was there. What? I had to pick up my birthday gift and well - a few other items on my wish list. On my hand here I swatched the Kat Von D Mi Vida Loca Remix eyeshadow palette which you can pick up here for only $59! I swatched a couple of the shadows and ladies, this is just one swipe of color! The colors in these palette are absolutely AMAZING! I love that the neutral/highlight colors are in the center and you have fun colors around that. Absolutely gorgeous. And when I was there I picked up the last palette so it is selling out quickly!

This is my oh-so-trendy outfit for Terror Behind the Walls.

Shirt: Old Navy/Skull Scarf: eBay/Leggings: Victoria Secrets/Leg Warmers: Ugg/Boots: Uggs

If you've never been to Terror Behind the Walls and you live near Philly - WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? Unless you're not into that type of thing, but it's definitely something I think everyone should experience!

The reason for the necklace and red X's on our faces is because before you go into the prison you have to make a choice - you can walk through without being touched or "taken" or you can opt in for the ultimate experience. We do it every year and we just love it. But I understand it's not everyone's cup of tea. I just thoroughly enjoy it. But then again, I love all things scary. :)

I even got a kiss at the end of the night. :)

Sunday:

I may or may not have made my first ever Kate Spade purchase at age 29, and no it isn't this dice cube. But isn't it cute?!?!

Have a great night!

My Fall Handbag 2015

2015-10-22T19:17:00.005-07:00

Happy Thursday!

Today I am sharing my fall handbag for this year.

I picked it up from a Bebe Outlet this summer.

This bag was on clearance for only $66 but Bebe was having a sale to take an additional 50% off the lowest ticketed price. So I scored this handbag for only $33! I have only had it out for about 2 weeks now and have gotten a ton of compliments on it. It may be bright but it's also orange!

I tried to tone it down with a spare scarf I had lying around from Charlotte Russe.

I really do love Bebe handbags and now that I know I can find them on clearance at the outlets I'm hoping to own a few more.

I usually wear them for months and months and they really hold up to all my abuse.

I hope you enjoy this shot because in the process of taking this photo I dropped my camera on the concrete! Luckily I didn't break the touch skin but it is dented. :(

Don't forget to enter my giveaway for a Lorac Mega Pro 2 Palette. All you have to do is subscribe and comment on the video which you can find HERE

This will be my last post for the week as I am going away this weekend. Follow me on snapchat for my adventures! (vzaleski)

Have a great night!

Wedding Wednesday: Professional Honeymoon Photos Couples Resort, Negril Jamaica

2015-10-21T15:51:00.001-07:00

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

Today I am sharing the professional photos we had taken while on our honeymoon.

You're probably wondering why Jamaica has a USA sign up on the resort right? The day we had pictures taken was 4th of July...

This is my favorite picture.

My hair started out curly and ended up frizzy.....

This was a random day hubby and I were walking to our beach chairs.

It was my turn to dip hubby. :)

This day we went snorkeling.

Looking at these pictures makes me miss Jamaica. Maybe one day we will go back.

If you'd like to see days 1-6 click on the days below:

I still have day 7 & 8 to go. Stayed tuned until next Wednesday! :)

Have a great night!

Bath & Body Works Fall Haul 2015

2015-10-20T18:26:00.000-07:00

Happy Tuesday!

Today I am sharing a recent haul from a couple of weekends ago when I went into Bath & Body Works. I picked up a couple of new fall candles and then new body lotion and spray.

Candles were on sale for 2 for $24. I also had a coupon for 20% off my purchase.

I picked up these three new candles.

Spooky Vanilla. I'm currently burning this one right now and it has a bit of a spicy smell to it, do you guys have this? What do you think of it?

I bought this scent for my mom since she really liked it.

The trio smell is different for bath and body works and I'm kind of excited about it!

I picked up the We Love Pumpkin one for myself. I love the scent of this so far! The lady who works there explained to me that there is 2 new scents in this candle so I'm excited to see what the other two scents smell like!

A while ago I picked up a free body lotion in the scent Apple Harvest. I have it on my desk at work and I'm growing to love it. Since I'm not 100% committed just yet I decided to pick up the smaller versions of the body spray and another lotion.

What have you picked up at Bath & Body Works recently?

Weekend Recap: Babysitting, Shopping, and New Hair!

2015-10-19T16:09:00.000-07:00

Happy Monday!

Thursday night I started burning Spooky Vanilla from Bath & Body Works. It definitely smells like vanilla but I also think it has a bit of a spicy scent??? Does anyone else have this candle?

Saturday:

I finally got a cut and a color, it's been since our wedding! I got some caramel highlights in it and just a shape up.

I had to baby sit this guy all weekend. Isn't he just the cutest? I love him to pieces.

I also went out to Old Navy and did some other shopping.

I'm SO bummed. I really liked this dress but wasn't paying $32 for it! I'll wait till it goes on sale.

I have no pictures from Sunday. My parents took me out for my birthday dinner and we drove back home. That was the extent of my Sunday.

Today I filmed what's in my Ipsy bag and did a look using most of this months Ipsy products.

It'll probably be up later tonight, if not definitely tomorrow!

Have a great night!

Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty Steals Haul

2015-10-15T15:58:00.002-07:00

Happy Thursday!

Today I am sharing my haul from Ulta's 21 days of beauty steals.

I picked up this Bare Minerals Thank You You're So Sweet palette, which consists of 8 eye shadows.

I haven't tried any Bare Minerals products in some time, and this palette really caught my eye. And I'm really glad I did because I used this for my birthday and absolutely fell in love with it.

I scored this palette for only $25.20 and it was originally $36.

The names of the colors are absolutely adorable. I'm going to do a more in depth review on this with swatches.

This is the inside of it. This would be perfect as a gift to someone!

Yesterday was my birthday so I thought this palette would be very fitting. This is the look I came up with. I used 5 of the colors to get this look. The only thing I would have to say is that because the shadows are loose so I thought it was very messy to work with.

I picked up a bunch of Ulta's eye liners. They were on sale for $3 originally $8.

Raisin

Jade

Moss

Onyx

Storm

Tropics

Grape

Swatches from left to right:

Raisin, Moss, Tropics, Storm, Grape, Jade

I am in need of a new concealer and have been hearing a lot of good things of this It Cosmetics Eyelife in a Tube. I got this on sale for $14.50 originally $29. On one side is concealer, on the other is brightener.

I picked up another It Cosmetics but a mascara. It's an interesting mascara but can't wait to try it.

I got this on sale for $12 originally $24.

I am most excited for this Naked Skin Illuminating beauty balm!

I got this on sale for $17 originally $34. I haven't used it yet, maybe this weekend. But the swatch is really beautiful!

The Stila cheek cream I haven't tried yet, it's actually a cream and I didn't even realize it. But you can also use it on your lips. It's a very pretty shade. Petunia is the shade I picked up.

I got this on sale for$12 originally $25.

I also picked up a 3-1 beauty smoothie. I absolutely love the scent of this!

I got this on sale for $5 originally $12.

I also did a haul video of all the items, if you'd like to watch it:

Have a great night!

Weekend Recap: New Instragram, TJMaxx, Fall Makeup Looks, New Video

2015-10-12T16:52:00.000-07:00

Happy Monday!

I'm excited for this week because Wednesday is my birthday! :) I don't typically take my birthday off but this year I decided too, just because.

Anyway, I didn't do much this weekend but did a lot at the same time, does that make any sense?

Friday:

I am on the hunt for this nail polish. I have checked my local Ulta AND Kohls. I will keep searching. It is such a pretty color!

I picked up Charlie Brown Christmas stamps for our Christmas cards. Can't wait to send out our first Christmas cards as a married couple. :)

Our Wedding Cake was featured again!

Thursday evening we went to TJMaxx and I came across this cute sign. Too bad we don't have our own home or else I would have got it. I'm going to watch it to see if it goes on clearance and put it away.

Saturday:

I filmed my 21 Days of Beauty Steals Ulta haul. Which is now live and you view here. But I will also be blogging about it this week.

Sneak peak of my purchases:

I decided to play around with some of my make up and created this fun fall look using last year's Too Faced La Belle Carousel Christmas 2014 palette.

I spent Saturday evening editing the video. This took me a long time to do and I hardly did anything to it, but it literally took me a couple of hours!

And there's the end product.

Sunday:

We spent our Sunday morning lounging around and watching football. I finally showered and did my makeup to do another video (which will be up tomorrow or Wednesday). I did a look using all of the products in last month's Ipsy bag! I kind of like the way it turned out too.

GUYSS!! I'm super excited about this. On my new Instagram account (MrsFrostBitten), Stila Cosmetics LIKED my photo!!! Uhhhhh? I am probably the only person in the world who would get excited about this. Haha.

Sunday I also spent the majority of my evening creating a header for my main page. This actually takes a lot of work.

So, like I said I was busy but not busy this past weekend. Haha.

Have a great night!

I'm excited to announce the launch of my new Instagram account! It's been a long time in the making; I finally sat down and just did it. I always felt weird posting on my personal account things for my blog, so I decided to make one dedicated to all my blogger and youtuber stuff.

Wedding Wednesday: Honeymoon Day 6 in Negril Jamaica, Rick's Cafe!

2015-10-07T18:08:00.001-07:00

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

Today I am sharing day 6 of our honeymoon to Negril, Jamaica at Couples Resorts.

Click below to see my other posts:

Day 1

Day 2

Day 3

Day 4

Day 5

Day 6 which was 4th of July was jammed pack for us!

We scheduled a trip to Rick's Cafe to jump off the cliffs, have our photos professionally taken, and had a dinner on the beach.

Another beautiful morning in Negril, Jamaica.

The resort put up a USA sign up.

Rick's Cafe was only a half hour away from our resort. It was smaller than I thought but definitely worth the trip. I also think we got lucky because there wasn't a huge crowd of people. We were told to only go in the morning or late afternoon, otherwise you will get a lot of people visiting around 3:00 or so.

Look at the beautiful clear water!

There are a couple different heights and I jumped off of the 12 foot one.

I don't think jumping was scary but trying to swim over to the ladder was scary! The current was taking me in all different directions. Every 7th wave is a rough one and I just so happened to miss that wave when I was jumping. But the current was still bad underneath.

You don't have to pay to jump off the cliffs or anything, but you literally jump at your own risk. There is no one there to help if you need it.

We were going to eat at the bar and cafe but we're on a short time frame so we just ordered two drinks and looked over the menu. It looked and sounded delicious!

Later that night we both got dressed up and headed out to take our professional photos!

My hubby loves his selfies, unfortunately this one is a little blurry.

This was our view for our beach front dinner. It was absolutely beautiful. Hubby tried wine for the first time and didn't like it. We also had champagne and had a 3 course dinner. It was so yummy!

Both of our rings and his wedding gift I got him; the Movado watch he is wearing.

As if we didn't have enough food we decided to check out the buffet for that evening. They were having an all American buffet. We were so stuffed we only had desserts.

This was the whole resort at night time, I think it's one of my favorite shots from the trip.

Since it was the 4th of July I brought out my american flag sweater.

Afterwards we decided to just lounge on the hammocks.

It was such an amazing and fun-filled day.

Weekend Recap: Lorac Mega Pro 2 GIVEAWAY, Bath & Body Works Fall Stuff and NOTD

2015-10-05T17:48:00.001-07:00

Happy Monday!

I am pretty excited for this Monday because it's the last day my boss will be there before he goes away to a conference. Haha. Does any one else get excited for small things like this?

Friday:

I am back to uploading YouTube videos! And to kick that off I am reviewing the Lorac Mega Pro 2 palette AND giving one away! Please go to my YouTube account to enter. (more on this in a separate post)

Right after work I made the YouTube video(3 hour process!) we headed home for the weekend. I was so exhausted from work that I slept from 10:00 Friday night till 10:00 Saturday morning.

Saturday:

I haven't seen my family in over a month so it was nice to have some quality time together.

My mom & I took a trip to Bath & Body Works to see their new fall stuff.

I love the ghost candle holder and soap dispenser.

Right now, with any Bath & Body Works purchase you get the Christmas coupon book filled with 3 great coupons!

Spooky Vanilla smells ah-mazing!

I came home to a bunch of comments on my YouTube video and this one really made my day!

I am also self teaching myself how to edit my videos, something that really, really intimidated me! After playing around with a couple softwares and many hours I think I'm ok, at best. I have a lot of learning to do, but I am happy I am getting back into it.

Sunday:

Sundays are my days for lounging around. Sweetie was lounging around with me. :)

I took some blog photos for upcoming posts and these were the candles my mom & I picked up.

Sunday I also painted my nails. I am using this set right here from Ulta. I really love the pink glitter one. More on this another day.

Have a great Monday night!

Lorac Mega Pro Palette 2 Preview

2015-10-01T17:44:00.003-07:00

Happy Thursday!

I had an absolutely horrible day at work today (all week actually), so to come home to a package from Ulta will always instantly turn my mood around.

I ordered the Lorac Mega Pro Palette 2 this past weekend and am SO excited it's finally here!

I have been playing around with it for the last hour or so and then starting comparing it to the first Mega Pro Palette.

Today I am sharing just a few snap shots of what I took with my iPhone (so not the best of quality).

My two favorite colors thus far are:

Tangerine and Gold Leaf

I don't think I own any orange eye shadows! Do you?

I pulled out my original Mega Pro Palette just to compare. I think I only see one color the same - black!

Anyway, this is just a preview for right now. Can't wait to swatch all the colors and play with eye looks!

If you're looking to purchase this palette it will be out October 4th in stores.

By the way,

Happy October!!!

Lush Cosmetics Ickle Baby Bot Bath Bomb Review with Video

2015-09-29T18:46:00.000-07:00

Happy Tuesday!

Today I am reviewing Lush's Ickle Baby Bot bath bomb.

You can purchase it here for only $3.95.

I can't really pin point what I thought the smell was but on Lush's website it is described as:

"Ickle Baby Bot has been designed to mesmerize the senses with ray guns of lavender, chamomile, and sandalwood."

I don't have anything really exciting to say about this particular bath bomb. I've been wanting to try it for quite some time now so I finally just bought it. I'm happy I did but probably wouldn't repurchase it. I thought it smelt good but didn't make my skin super soft like the rest of the bath bomb's I've tried.

When we were in Philly for the Philadelphia Eagles game I also picked up two more items which I haven't used yet. But when I do I will review them.

The video below is of Lush Cosmetic's Ickle Baby Bot Bath Bomb.

Have a great night!

Weekend Recap: Lorac Mega Pro Palette 2, Pumpkin Pie, Fall Decor

2015-09-28T19:13:00.000-07:00

Happy Monday!

I don't know how truly happy I am about this week but I am trying to keep a smile on my face. It's a busy time for me at work. :(

Friday:

Friday was date night for Hubby & I. We went to Red Lobster for their endless shrimp and then off to the movies. We saw Scorch Trails since we both like the Maze so much. Scorch Trails was really good except I thought it was kind of long. Other than that, I highly recommend it.

Last week was also another bad week for me, so when I saw this picture below it made me smile.

Saturday:

Unfortunately, I didn't do much Saturday because I had to work. So I have nothing to share.

Sunday:

Sunday I woke up to an e-mail from Ulta stating that the Lorac Mega Pro Palette was on pre-launch for Platinum members for one day only. I wanted to share on my blog but didn't have a chance, it sold out within a couple of hours.

This was truly the highlight of my day! I cannot wait to get it!!

Philadelphia Eagles played on Sunday so I made Hubby & I some pumpkin cheesecake pie. First one of the season!

After the game (We won!), I deep cleaned our kitchen. I mopped the floors, I emptied out the cabinets and cleaned them. I got rid of a bunch of stuff. Plus I brought out our new Keurig!

This thing is pretty impressive, it's touchscreen! Who would have thought?! Even though I don't drink coffee, I drink a ton of hot chocolate in the winter time - has anyone tried Keurig's Swiss hot chocolate?!

I also brought out more of my fall decor. I dusted the top shelf and added the two owls my mom bought me. On the left, in the clear vase, I replaced the cupcake liners with a bunch of small pumpkins and fake leaves. It's the small things that can really transform a place from summer to fall.

Have a great night!

Fall Nails - Zoya Giovanna

2015-09-24T17:48:00.004-07:00

Happy Thursday!

Happy 2nd day of Fall!

I can't believe it's already fall, I can't believe it's already the end of September, 2015 is almost over!

Today I am sharing and reviewing my first fall nail look. It's very basic and plan but I am loving this color.

I actually received this color in an Ipsy bag. It's a color I would have never picked up myself but I found when I put it on, I actually really love the color. That's why I like being subscribed to the Ipsy bag every month, it's products I typically wouldn't pick up myself. It gives me the opportunity to try new and different products.

The color is Giovanna by Zoya.

You can't see it with this iPhone picture but it actually had a sparkle to it.

I wore this color to an Eagles game I went to recently and it really matches the color of the Philadelphia Eagles!

Only down side - the color stains your nails!

Now my nails have a ugly green tint to them. But that's ok nothing a little baking soda and peroxide can't fix.

Have a great and cozy evening!

Wedding Wednesday: Honeymoon Day 5 in Negril Jamaica, Couples Resort

2015-09-23T18:59:00.000-07:00

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

Today I am sharing highlights from Day 5 of our honeymoon in Negril, Jamaica at the Couples Resort.

Click on the following days to view:

Day 1

Day 2

Day 3

Day 4

Sporting my cheap straw fedora from Charlotte Russe, Marshalls cover up, Victoria Secrets bikini.

Guys! I sported an itsy bitsy bikini bottom. I was so nervous wearing it, Hubby didn't seem to mind! Definitely something I don't typically do but you only go on your honeymoon once!

Believe it or not, I have never made a tie-dye shirt. So when they offered a tie dye class I decided to go! What do you guys think? Did I do a good job? Haha.

Our shirts on the line as we ate lunch.

The resort also offered a free jewelry making class so I went and met some really nice people. This is how my bracelet turned out. What do you guys think?

Afterwards we just lounged around on the chairs, had a couple of drinks and just watched the water. It was SO relaxing.

They had real lime tree's there! No one else seems to find this amazing but me. haha.

We booked the glass bottom boat ride for that afternoon, we were the only ones to go on it, so we had our own private tour which was pretty cool! We saw all kinds of stuff, stingrays, coral reefs, etc.

These look so good don't they?! Well they were as hard as a brick. Yuck.

We watched the sunset as we waited for our night time snorkeling adventure. (Which by the way, was the most amazing experience of my life!)

After night time snorkeling we quickly showered and got dressed because that night their was lobster being served at all the restaurants.

We were expecting small lobster tails because it's included in the price of your stay, but they were actually really big!

Shortly after we ate we went to bed. It was a long day.

Weekend Recap: Ipsy, Philadelphia, Lush, Eagles Game, Nails

2015-09-22T18:59:00.001-07:00

Happy Tuesday!

Today I am recapping my fun-filled weekend.

Friday:

On Friday I received my September Ipsy bag. I'm looking forward to testing out these products! Looks like a good bag!

Saturday:

Saturday was a relaxing day for hubby & I. We didn't have much planned for the day.

I wore a sweater hubby got me for Christmas from Charlotte Russe, black tank top, Forever 21 shorts, Michael Kors watch and Kohls flip flops. Easy and comfortable enough to walk around the city.

Painted my nail green for the Eagles game.

Our view from the Sheraton in center city Philadelphia.

We did walk to Lush because they just released the sparkly pumpkin and lord of misrule bath bomb.

I also picked up some cupcakes from Philly Cupcakes. (Best cupcakes in my opinion!)

We were all bored so we decided to take a trip to King of Prussia. Surprisingly I didn't purchase much.

Sunday:

Sunday was game day!!!!

Hubby & I tailgating for the Philadelphia Eagles game.

We were front row in the end zone!!!

We also met Swoop!!!!

Such a fun weekend!

Have a great night

Our Labor Day Weekend 2015 in Pictures

2015-09-08T16:23:00.000-07:00

Happy Tuesday!

Happy Labor Day!

Today I'm sharing tidbits of our amazingly fun weekend. We really wanted to go to a beach for the weekend, so we decided to go to Atlantic City. I got out of work early on Friday and off we went.

Friday:

I am still using my Mrs. bag I got from the Christmas Tree Shop. I love this bag. It's sturdy and it was only $8.99. Plus I'm a newly wed, so why can't I?

Saturday:

Hey, it's me, with no makeup.
This is my "no makeup" face. I just got out of the shower and we're heading to the beach.

The beach was packed! This was our pretty view for the next 3 hours.

This is my mani for the weekend. I'll be sharing my mani & pedi later this week. I am actually really proud of it. :)

Feeling a little crispy, so we left the beach.

We headed back to the hotel, showered, and decided to walk the boardwalk. It's literally our favorite thing to do in AC. We stopped somewhere new to try Turkey Hill soft ice cream. I have never had their soft ice cream, and it was yummy!
My hubby got fried oreos and he let me try one, maybe two. They were delicious! I've never had them before!

This was us just relaxing on a bench "people watching" does anyone else do this?! Or are we just weirdo's? Haha

I ended my night with a Lush bath, the only Lush bath of the weekend.

Sunday:

Sunday we got up super early (5:30) and headed to our favorite farmers market/flea market. We were exhausted after, so we took a nap. Then we went to the beach for a hour. It will be our last beach trip of 2015. :( I can't complain though, this summer was absolutely amazing. One of the best summer's ever.

Monday:

Before we left we decided to walk the board walk one more time and have lunch. Of course I had to get more fried oreo's, so we shared an order.

On the way home we decided to go to the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets. The only reason we went there was because it's the nearest Burberry outlet. So we did some shopping.
The outlet isn't as big as the Philadelphia one. I probably wouldn't go back unless I wanted to go to Burberry again.

I'm SO exhausted. Today was a busy day at work for me, so I am going to take a bath and relax for the rest of the evening.

Have a great night everyone!

The Body Shop Haul

2015-09-03T18:21:00.001-07:00

Happy Thursday!

I am busy packing for this upcoming weekend, which I am super excited for!

Follow me on snapchat to see my adventures:

vzaleski

I bought a couple of things from The Body Shop that I wanted to share.

I am probably not suppose to be sharing this, but my hubby wanted this set. Has he used it yet? No. Which means I will steal it from him. :)

These body butters were on clearance for $5 each. After I shower I always put on lotion because my skin is so dry so I like to stock up when I can.

I believe these were from their Holiday line.

I love Body Shop's body butters's. They're thick without being oily, which is hard to find.

The scents I picked up are Glazed Apple and Vanilla Brulee.

I picked up this Spa Fit body scrub which has a wonderful citrus scent. I have to say I have been using this for about a month now and I absolutely love it. This has been a savor for the summer months when my skin is peeling! It smells absolutely delicious and clean. Not only does it exfoliate but it's also a soap, 2 in 1!This is a must buy product. It is kind of expensive though.I paid $22 for it. You can purchase it here

I'd also like to mention the packaging. The top has a super seal around it, keeping it fresh (I'm assuming) and it's a glass container. Love! I can definitely re-use this. I plan to do a separate post on this product!

This will probably be my last post before Labor Day, so have a safe and fun Labor Day!!

Wedding Wednesday: Honeymoon Day 4 in Negril Jamaica, Couples Resort

2015-09-02T17:52:00.001-07:00

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

Today's post will mainly consist of pictures, I am busy prepping for this upcoming Labor Day weekend.

Click on the following links to see other days from our honeymoon:

Day 1

Day 2

Day 3

Just another day enjoying the beach. I brought out my crotchet cover up from Marshalls and got a ton of compliments on it. Who would have thought? It was only $24.99 too!

My hubby just stylin'. He got his fedora from the local craft market in Jamaica. He's sporting his new Ray Bans that he got on clearance. He loves them. I love this picture of him, this is my true hubby. :)

I completely forgot to pack SPF for us (give me a break, I packed the day after our wedding) so we had to purchase some there... $25.50 US dollars later!

As we were eating lunch this bird sat near us.

Lunch at the buffet. All of the fruit on the table is locally grown.

Tapioca pudding in a coconut!

Every day we would get an itinerary for the following day. Similar to the cruises we've been on. I really enjoyed that because we would plan out our days.

Sunset on our balcony.

This night we were patiently waiting for our scheduled night time snorkeling, but they ended up canceling it because of choppy water.

The night ended up to be amazing though because we went to their beach party. The food and entertainment was amazing. Plus we met an amazing couple who were also newly weds.

It was a fun night and a fun day.

No problem and no worries. :)

Have a great night!
