Xmas Mood in Sibu

noreply@blogger.com (Emilly Amisa) — Sat, 21 Dec 2013 12:58:00 +0000

It's been a very long time since I last updating this blog. Well, I've been busy lately... and, lazy.
Anyway, a lot of things going on with my life this year that I can't sum it all in here. The thing is, it is really happening!

As I, no longer a Kuchingite - now, a Sibu-an - living my ever-changing life. Month by month living off the paycheck. Not happy at all. Not the lifestyle I imagine myself into.

Someday, will move on to another lifestyle, where I'm the one giving out the paychecks! :P

And, 2013 is almost come to its end - and I do realize that this year ends kinda fast or is it because of too much changing happen to me (my life, precisely) that makes me feel like it? Duhh, maybe both.
For the upcoming Xmas, that is next week Wednesday, I'm going back to Kuching. Heaven yeah!

As I jingling the bells in Kuching next week, I'll left the Meow City earlier as I thought - before it even hit New Year 2014. Feels a little bit taken aback. Oh, well here are some early Xmas treats for U all.

Mama

noreply@blogger.com (Emilly Amisa) — Sat, 05 Jan 2013 08:06:00 +0000

'A Mother's Love is Forever'

Hello... as U know -or just know- I love horror movie.

This coming movie, Mama is what I've been waiting for since last year. I saw the trailer in the cinema last time and it scared the s**t out of me... for real.

And that made me so excited of its release in about two weeks. If that's true then, I won't miss it!

Be prepared to scream!

New Year 2013

noreply@blogger.com (Emilly Amisa) — Wed, 02 Jan 2013 01:50:00 +0000

Ahha~~~

It's New Year 2013.

Still not too late to wish...

Happy New Year 2013!

Anyway, I have a lot that I wanna pursue... or do... this year. It's a never-ending tasks since previous years. Hahaha...

Btw, this year is rather special to me. I, personally like this year and favour it much more than 2012. Well, I need a good kick-start but it's not impossible.

Why I like this year better? (though #13 is not a good number, as some paranoid says):

It's the year of snake. And becoz it's snake year, it remind me of my fav manga -NARUTO-
Becoz last year is just not my lucky year D':
Friday the 13th occurs only twice this year; on Sept & Dec.

And why it reminds me of my fav manga?

Becoz, snake is the trademark of one of the antagonist in the manga -Orochimaru. And I love that character. Rather than seeing Orochimaru as an antagonist, I see him as a charming, captivating and charismatic character. Hm... thus, snake resembles him very well. *wink wink*

So, why year 2012 is not my lucky year, you ask?

No camera, please... (means that I don't want to reveal anything)

Some of my wishes was granted last year, and some just need a lil' more time... Hopefully I can fulfill this wishlist of mine.

And to all of you out there, I hope you have a prosperous new year too.

Hello Again

noreply@blogger.com (Emilly Amisa) — Mon, 24 Dec 2012 11:23:00 +0000

Hello Again!!!

It's been ages since I last popping myself here. D@mn~~~

Anyway, I'm sorry. I was busy digging a hole to hide... hahaha....

And ahh... I realize something awkward about my blog. The icon b4 the post title, it's missing... Hmm, is it because of the new style? New template? Or what? Truth is, I can't figure out the problem. I can't find the code to remove it. Anyone? :(

BTW, it's Christmas time! Okay, it's tomorrow to be exact. So, Merry Christmas to those celebrating it and Happy New Year 2013 to everyone!

This is the Xmas tree for this year :D

And this is Jiji as my Xmas present :P

p/s: How did you all handle the 21st Dec 'craziness'? I'm a skeptic after all...

Hong Kong Ghost Stories 2011

noreply@blogger.com (Emilly Amisa) — Thu, 10 Nov 2011 03:48:00 +0000

Last Tuesday, me n boyfie went for a movie.

Hong Kong Ghost Stories 2011

It's been ages since our last movie day 2geda.

This time, we choose my fav genre :D

Well, it seems like the ghost season is coming back...

...to satisfy my hunger!

Hmm... how should I start?

The movie is kinda good...overall.

3 of 5 stars.

For you guys who don't really like horror movie, this movie is a bit light, with humour here and there.

Maybe okay for those scaredy cat :P

Not worth it to be watched twice.

Anyway, it's my opinion only.

Spicy Rice Cake

noreply@blogger.com (Emilly Amisa) — Sun, 30 Oct 2011 08:08:00 +0000

I cook when I'm nice.

Anyway, this is my spicy rice cake :D

Watch a TV show last time, about this recipe.

Emmmm~~~ yummy!

*Cooking is one of my hidden talent XP*

Soak the rice cakes with plain water in a container. Do this for 12 hours. Make sure you close the container for hygienic purpose :D

After approximately 12 hours of soaking, discard the remaining water. Toss the rice cakes dry. Prepare the paste. Use a small bowl (rice bowl), pour chili paste, few pinches of black pepper, a little of salt or sugar as you desire.

Put 3tbs of cooking oil into the wok. Then, heat the paste. When small bubbles start to come out, put the rice cakes. Cook until the paste mixed up with all the rice cakes. Tadaa~~~ you'll get your spicy rice cakes!

You could try to cook the black rice cake using soy sauce.

The Thing

noreply@blogger.com (Emilly Amisa) — Fri, 14 Oct 2011 15:59:00 +0000

It's Not Human... Yet.

Watch 'The Thing' already?

What thing?

The Thing....... :D

Release in Malaysia 13th October.

I just watched it today (14th Oct).

Remake of previous The Thing's movies.

A little bit change in plot and storyline.

Of course the actors/actresses are different...

The CG effect is okay for this kinda movie; industry standard.

It's kinda my type of movie tho.

While everyone else hold their breathe, scare...

I smile and laugh =.=

The alien in this movie was.... gross!!!

To the extend that I really gonna hate alien~~~

Ending was satisfying.

Fans of horror and thriller should watch this.

Worth to be in my collection!
