JOB DESCRIPTION : STOCK COORDINATOR

POSITION START DATE: IMMEDIATE

Overview:

The Stock Coordinator performs an assortment of job duties and procedures. Stocking responsibilities typically involve receiving shipments, securely storing goods, allocating merchandise to the appropriate department and filling merchandise for outgoing shipments. The stock manager is also responsible for in heading merchandise inventory and should be familiar with merchandise prices, locations, quantity, and other pertinent information to assist fellow employees. In addition the Stock Coordinator is responsible for securing the warehouse nightly, preventing the merchandise from preventable damage due to faulty storage, and maintaining a highly organized and detailed record of all incoming and outgoing merchandise.

Responsibilities:

· Process shipments as they arrive daily, allocating the merchandise to the appropriate department

· Maintain the overall integrity of the store stock

· Quality control

· Report missing units for outgoing shipments

· Responsible for merchandise flow in and out of the stock room

· Facilitate communicate with all departments and the production team

· Ensure smooth, accurate and timely processing and distribution of all incoming and outgoing merchandise

· Use Excel and Quickbooks to enter in inventory

Physical

· Lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance

· Bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and performing repetitive motions

· Moving large quantities of merchandise

BOND represents both American and International emerging designers with a unique design aesthetic and brand identity. We are looking for a fashion forward, detail oriented, hard working part-time or full-time showroom sales intern to join our team immediately. You will have the opportunity to work in a close knit environment with the flexibility to take on various responsibilities and create your own position. The internship requires a commitment of at least 3 days/week. You will also be required to work the fashion trade markets each season. It is unpaid but we are offering great resume building experience and/or college credit.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

· Assisting sales reps

· Assisting with market appointments & tradeshows

· Writing and processing purchase orders for buyers

· Creating and updating databases

· Sending & creating email blasts

· Updating Facebook, Twitter, and other various social media outlets

· Sending lookbooks to potential buyers

· Merchandising and maintaining the showroom
