Hello! So after many months of separation, finally met up with H and M. H&M ? Lmao

It was a short dinner meet up after the girls ended their work while the guy got out from NS life. Nevertheless, there's endless chats and bimbo-tic behaviors from M and H getting more serious/emo about his life.

was dragging two of them to hunt for my sister's watch. How i hope she can be as thrifty as me but its impossible.. as you know, NS made guys' savior glorious good so off we went to hunt for it.

Finally settled down at Near Takashimaya, Indonesia Restaurant Pepe's. Food was quite expensive, so-so

loved the heavenly pineapple rice and Sambal Kang Kong only. Next was desserts. Desserts must always be served for us! Its a MUST MUST portion of a dinner.

Back to Reality! Realised this month gonna burnt a big hole in my pocket :( this month is seasons of birthdays

Sometimes its hard to save counted the fact that the high expenses living in Singapore. Everything here is very expensive compared to other countries.

Food + Transport already made up 20% of my salary

what about miscellaneous stuffs like outings, groceries, gifts? Factor in everything already 50% or more.

This month maybe i just show how pathetic I'm

1) Food + Transport = 300-400 or more

2) Allowance to parents = $XXX

3) Sister Fossil Watch which took me awhile to search. I kinda like it $70 (shared bet mom and i)

4) Friends Bday + outings = Predicted $150

5) Savings

6) to pamper myself like foodies with irvin,lens, etc I think i spent a lot on foods than other thing else-.-

all these already amounted to about 700+.

we need more to survive. If the economy were to increase, Its fair to also increase our salary or introduce more benefits to us. Right, no?

So it was the sister's bday. Despite my tiredness after work, (now i understand how my parents felt when they say they needed sleep early), specially ordered KFC (for ordering its, 62226111) in celebration of her bday. (p.s: Im not very generous one.LOL)

and mummy bought birthday cake for her, the cake she bought seemed to be similar throughout ? but anyway, still its the thoughts that count <3

Last day of FYP for my students (Dec-Feb 2012)

After staying for 12 exact weeks with the students, finally their hard work paid off and off they went for their formal presentation yesterday. I felt the same as them exactly 1 year ago,waiting nervously to present for my final year project.It was their last day and just like me(a year ago) where they said they are sad that its time for them to bid goodbye to Nanyang Polytechnic. All the wonderful memories, the friends you befriended who may become your best friends in future, the times where you mugged like you never before, copying your friends' project and modify a little, south canteen's nuggets/wedges, loklok at mac, the greenery at NYP. All these, will never be forgotten and it closes a chapter of your life. Also, it means a start to a whole new level of your future.

Tinge of sadness lingering around but hoping the best for them in everything. Life moves on and students, you all have been very good! Thanks for the memories, crackers/sweets, little gifts. Appreciated it! parting is sad but what to do?

had this monthsary sweet dinner very long time back, thanks to my lazy self that i didnt upload. Alot photos still with him... contemplated chooing between Ma Maison and Let's Sweet!(but we had this the next month-.-) at Bugis and we chose this romantic, full of vintage ambience place to eat. It was affordable yet fulfilling worth spending dining place :)

it's finally the weekend, which made me look forward because i can finally regain my sleep which i lacked alot and the trip which is tonight! excited about it. Last week was packed and saturday have to head back to NYP to help in the video workshop. I've learnt something new and this week, im tasked to help out in the Robocode Competition as a photographer and videographer. Very enriching experience for me.

HCNY 2012 - Reunion Dinner

Happy February everyone! :D
New year is coming to an end which means the start of a fulfilling, crazy year. Work,play,study hard and make your resolutions possible.

Met up with the girls(except lynette because she is in aus. So nette, when are you heading back to visit us? we missed you badly) with wanjia,jerrold,yunjia for reunion dinner at BukitBatok area. I never know this kopitiam exist after staying in batok for good old 10 over years. HAHAH

ordered quite alot of dishes and LOU HEI was the last. First time we are doing this and it's fun because you get to mix the ingredients(crackers,salmon,etc) together and scoop it up. As the chinese saying goes, the more you scoop it higher the more luckier you get. When doing that, its complusory to say auspicious words and i really say alot like hopping jazreel & Joycelyn faster find her prince-charming, liyan get marry, everyone happy and healthy and huat ahhhhhhh!

16 January 2012 - AJ Rafael's Concert

finally the day we had been waiting anxiously for had arrived, Maya and i have been impatiently waiting for AJ Rafael's concert with his special guest Krissy and Ericka on the 16Jan at the Drama Centre! Cant wait to attend his concert, so excited that we didn't have a lot concentration during work.

YAY AJ (Y) His effort in music really paid off! Initially i didnt pay alot attention to his vidoes in youtube but as i browsed and really listened, i developed some liking to his music :) Loved his orignial songs...

Drained after work but still we are damn excited!!

we booked CAT 3 Seating, totally regretted man but still we had lots of fun shouting.
PS: 2 guys behind us shouted like they never shouted before and i guess they spitted their saliva all over us because they just sat behind us .
We will definitely go for the front seat most probably next year when AJ returned back to Singapore. woohooo cant wait!

We' ve come a tough long way till now. It's difficult but we are always trying. I can feel he's trying to, i feel appreciated by his actions. Now that both of us have our commitments, understanding is essential... I cant wait for our upcoming trip. very soon!!

Taiwan Loots, Braces

Sister came back from Taiwan and she seemed to have a lot of fun! Makes me wanna go badly, hopefully i can save up abit of $$ to travel there. It's winter and she bought lots of food and stuff for Crystal. Lucky Crystal got a new hoodie top. She bought a Top,Gold Necklace-.- and 2 boxes of masks for me!! I didn't know my sister's so nice that she can find time to shop stuff for me.

Taiwan, this year (hopefully)? Taiwan seems to have different kinds of box wrappers for their soaps, sweets, coffee/tea packs. It's misleading but interesting. I want to go taiwan!

Dental Appointment on the 12th Jan! my dentist told me that i can remove my braces by coming March! Sad yet excited about it.. My dear brace had companied me through ups and downs for going 3years. I'm really glad that my brace changed my set of vampire ugly teeth to straight neat one :) YAY! I will be disciplined to put my retainers...

The process for brace is not very painful but bearable. I love going to the dentist, every time there's appointment i'm always looking forward to it. Nice Dentist = Happy Teeth

Time for update, never fail to update because this blog is significant to me. I just gave my blog a clean layout, pure white and new simple few colors. I just love Blogger for having template designer where we can customize conveniently according to what we like and the simplicity of different layouts that they provides.

Recalls - 2011

2011 had been a year of roller coaster for me, extra emotions of hardship, tears, happiness, sadness, regretness, exploring of new stuff. It was something i might never forget.
What will be deemed as "permitted actions" will always be in my dictionary.
Sometimes it's difficult to change the way certain things react but i cant do anything but really drown myself in that. Realised the more i drown, it might/not be a good thing.

Early of the year: Visit to Kukup with his parents to celebration new year 2011! it was very kampong-ish as we get to play firecrackers and gathered together enjoying simple life which we will never get this in the fast paced Singapore

Early Period: Still in Polytechnic year 3 and i can say the poly days couldnt be great without those friends below. They are awesome! It somehow says fate bring us all tgt as class,as friends, or maybe even future close friends. It was memorable.

Seeing the grown of crystal in this house for about 1 year and counting makes me feel happy. He had received alot of care and foodie by my family. we love you BABYBOY!(Y)

It's all about adapting and trying of new environments and making new friends around. Still enjoying my education days. The friendships made was authentic and precious. To say work is never fun, at least i tried finding something that suits me,at least.

Really, these few months had been tough for me be it relations or family.

My Resolution this year would be very Simple,

Hoping all my friends,loved one stay healthy and happy, finding something i really enjoyed, learning to be better and most importantly, keeping the faith and truthfulness of the friendship made along the way and HUAT AH $.$ !!

Dinner with dearest irvin at Mayim after shopping with mommy at JurongPoint for some newyear shopping.Rushed down because i was abit late.. Decided on that place, it was our 6th eating place and the chinese cruisine filled our tummy with happiness :) it was affordable yet nice. *slurp*

Since it's my treat to him for the meal, so he must treat me to GONGCHA! Lol The experience he had at the west mall's one previously was bad. He ordered Earl-Grey-Milk Tea with 30% of sugar level and it turned out to be very sweet, it's worse than 100% sugar level!

So, in the end, we decided to buy outside near BB interchange. LOL. Happy ~ Bought it backto my home with each other's company :)

Our 18th monthsary, we visited Birdpark and Night Safari and in 1 whole day thanks to Irvin's company complimentary tickets. It was exciting and tiring. I didnt know Birdpark is so "scary" you know i really had phobia of birds. When they come near me, my whole self paniced. Im scared that they will peck at me or something-.- Birdpark had many interesting stuffs... whole new experience for me because i cant rmb when was the last time i visited that place.

waterwall pics: The scenary was way awesome and felt really cooling. Feel's like im in some country with waterfall and felt like going down for a drip! Why my legs look long here when actually I'm not:(

Suspension bridge hanging,in fact Birdpark got a few of this. The sight was magnificant! Love it.

It was abit scary standing there, down below its all leafs and trees.

swans are pretty. They way they flapped their wings is interesting. Im quite intrigued by their long beaks' ability to scratch their body and catch good accurately within seconds!!

After that, we had dindinz at Din Tai Fung. Xiao Long Bao and others again. Their xlb is not as juicy as Crystal's Jade one. Overall, full.

Dearest 20th Birthday

Another birthday up which is dearest meihui whom i knew 10 over years and we are still best friends. Best friend is someone who is there for you when you need, when you can pour everything to and she doesnt complain yet offer to hear you even if repeated. we knew up and changed differently, but deep down we know each other well. Sometimes, we have telepathy, That's how scary it is!

Anyway, it's her birthday and one more year older. Finally, she's following us. Rushed down after tired work and met up with everyone for dinner but not movie. Watched SherlockHomes before and the storyline is too deep for me :X

It's fun hanging with them. Everyone still stays the same, secondary/primary friends ^^

It's definitely worth going to there, the food, ambience totally won us over. I just love the ancient Tiffany blue layout of the place. Very taitai feeling. That is why they mentioned that casual wear like slippers and shorts are not advisable for the place.

Christmas 2011 Love

Christmas at Auntie's Condo! it was the season of giving and joy. First time visiting my cousin's condo and her Shih tzu is so territorised about the house, once i step into their kitchen, the dog will bark at me. how scary. I think throughout the celebration, the dog was barking loudly all the way. HAHAAH

Ate ham and bacon, cakes, countdown of christmas. This year was special because they changed the system of exchanging presents. It was definitely more fun compared to other christmas i ever had.

My father received washing powder while my mother received apple juice for their gift. I think everyone was laughing so loud, probably one of the funniest presents. Mine was decent, a box of oreo cookies. shall show you guys my other presents soon! enjoyed this year's party..

Amazing Race 19 & Food

Heart-felt meal cooked by my father, it have been sometime since he cooked this. Had dinner after work Don't see the colors like dull,actually it tasted pretty much yummy(Y)

I shall name it "Simple fries-nuggets-pocketsunshine,sausages LoveMeal" LOL

Also recently, quite obsessed with shows and I'm trying to use my remaining time and energy to watch. It makes me happy!
In my last episode of Amazing Race Season 19. Cindy and Ernie won the race, felt unhappy because somehow i feel others like Andy & Tommy or Bill/Cathi deserved it more than them. In terms of strategy,thinking, Cindy and Ernie are top in that. okay,happy for them that they won,anyway:)

Best Things in Life

Met up with my baby, it's been awhile since we met. It feels good seeing him again.We communicated lesser due to his personal work stuff, his room is undergoing a major renovation. From a simple plain jane room to something sophisticated with bold colors. The room feels so "japanesy" haha it's was a self-created word from me,myself.

he made simple breakfast with his fav honey roast peanut butter. it's the little things. Love him. Happy 22th love to us.

Also, met up with the awesome bunch of poly friends, had a hard time deciding what to eat. Okay, its my bad for being a lousy planner but at least, they came(Y) Town + PlayNation. Vividly rmb we gathered tgt to play games after the graduation ceremony. it was so packed with nice memories!

this month of december is gonna be packed with plans filling my calendar. i predicted my pocket will burn a big hole.

LOL, i believe this explains it all! New month, new beginning. I just love december because its rainy yet its the month of christmas! Brings back memories of Korea with my poly friends last year in 2010!

Keeping myself energetic as my body's like slowing down every minute!
Realised i've lost contact with Amazing Race's series so am' gonna catch the latest season. I loved the show that fact that it brings me to a whole lot of excitement and challenging stunts that the team does. Also, tests the chemistry and communication bet each other.

Bon Voyage IDA

After close to nine months of working in IDA, i declared that i start to miss my workplace. I've been so pampered with the awesome facilities like the dispenser where i can take biscuits to eat, warm milo to fill my stomach, the magnificent view from the pantry through the transparent glass panel, friendly fun friends, nice manager:)

My small token of gesture for some colleagues; i got only 10, lucky 10 will get it. Didnt get it doesnt mean you are not important, you guys all make a different in my stay here!

with my awesome sweet manager. the Superheroes plays a major role in any related events.

with shirely, another sweet girl whom i knew not long ago. Study hard and must sleep more..

with Jack, the one who i can clique and chat with almost any topic and always walked pass me to go toilet/refill water. just love her happy-go-lucky character. thick eyebrows FTW ^^

camwhore in the bus, yeah why camwhore because im leaving. yknow i dont normally take alot photos one. i cant pose for nuts. We had tremendous fun eating mac to taking pics in the bus.

Enjoyed my working experience in there, it taught me alot about interacting with people and gave me much exposure to the corporate working environment, meeting/interacting with people. Sometimes, you just have to accept the fact that not everyone is that nice but still you have to endure and compromise. I believed this is part and parcel process of working. Nevertheless, i thanked whoever who had helped,guided me along the way whenever i needed help.

Decided to catch this since my last day. Some of my friends commented that it's nice so why not watch. hahaha I think it's a nice typical high school moments. Feels heart pumping fast especially when i imagined myself to be the female lead. She's very cute leh! why she look so cute and pretty with no/lil make up.
it reminds me of my primary school day! The male lead is damn cute especially when he gives in and listen to the girl despite his bad attitude, despite acting as if he wont her but falling for her. The softest part of the show is when he confess his love. The chasing period is always the sweetest and worth keeping as a nice memory.

Braces, Oh Dear Braces

Braces Journey - 2009 to 2012(Predicted)

I wanted to document down one of the important moments which changed my life indirectly for a more beautiful me. It was a tedious yet extraordinary long process of putting my braces. Till up, i have yet to remove it but it's gonna be time up soon. so must faster grab this chance to pen down how i feel about this. KIASU MAX, i know.

was waiting for a quene for the sign up of the braces since secondary school(2008-2009), after a long wait finally it's my turn for that. I think the process is quite long as there are pre-check ups, pre-extracting of overcrowding teeth and requires few weeks in order for the braces to be put on.

The scariest part of it was the post-extraction and the post-feeling of every consultation as the orthodontist will do the tightening of the teeth. The pain is not that excruciating,
just uncomfortable but bearable.. but my orthodonist never fails to distract me while he was doing that. every visit was a pleasant one, and i was always looking forward to the next session :)

Whenever after consultation, i had to abstain from eating solid food like chicken, nuggets. Only porridges,soft meat, then able to eat. hahaha sometimes even had to swallow everything instead of biting it. That's torturing it gets when you are not able to munch on the food. Neverthess, all these last for a few days only. The pain will go off afterthat so no worries!

Look at my vampire-wannabe-like teeth. It's protruding in and out, same for the lower set of teeth! super ugly, that's why i decided to give a try for braces.

This is how i look when my braces was just attached and it was like Early 2009? At that point of time, 2 teeth had been extracted :( for the below set, my orthodontist only put it for me in later part of 2010)

FYI, what i dont for the brace is Metal one which use elastic modules to tie the wires onto the brackets. The modules come in a variety of colors and can be changed at every appointment.

Still in the beginning stage of my braces because the teeth is not that aligned yet. I still remembered my very first color was purple because my favourite color is purple! :DD

Poly classmates - hanwei's 21st birthday in 2010, he old already lor. Up to date, think i have attended about 20 over visits as the orthodontist have to change the wires to cater to the movement of the teeth. Each session was damn pain as it's very tight :(

I even purposingly sieve out those pictures i took to show the color i had chose during different period of my braces journey. Think every color, blue,green,purple,black,red,pink, different other similar shades. Just loving every of it.

Been2 years going 3, it will be gone soon. Can see that my teeth is quite aligned already. Cant wait for it to be removed and new set of retainers will be put on. Cant wait for gorgeous teeth!

next appointment scheduled to early next year, by then should be able to remove it.

For this brace thingy, my parents opted for government, it cost about up to $4.3K, very expensive.
I guess it's around the same price as private rate? have to pay $200 + in the initial stage ,and the rest of the amount for the whole package. So, every visit, there's not a need to pay for it unless there's other action to be done la.For retainers, i think it might be another payment, not inclusive inside :( Not sure about this portion though
