Zlatan Ibrahimovic: I dominate wherever I go

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is focused on helping Sweden qualify for the
knockout stages at Euro 2016 and is hoping to continue "dominating
wherever he goes" during the tournament in France.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is focused on
helping Sweden qualify for the knockout stages at Euro 2016 and is
hoping to continue "dominating wherever he goes" during the tournament
in France.

Ibrahimovic will become the first man
to score at four European Championships if he finds the net in this
tournament, starting against the Republic of Ireland in Paris on Monday.

The
34-year-old is Sweden's captain and talisman and, despite the now
customary boasts about his talent, is adamant progress in France is his
primary concern.

He said: "I feel really strong at the moment, I am getting better and better every year that passes.

"It's
all about developing and learning new things and not being satisfied.
You have to have the hunger to become a better player. That's when I am
satisfied, when I learn new things.

"I've been
dominating wherever I go, I have no issue about that. I feel confident, I
feel strong, mentally very strong and I come here to enjoy it.

"It
would be great [to score in four European Championships] but the
individual objectives come second because the collective is more
important.

"If the collective does well, the individual comes out of that."

Ibrahimovic
accepts all eyes will be on him at the Stade de France in a city he has
graced with Paris Saint-Germain – something he is happy with.

He
added: "I take responsibility on and off the field. To become a leader
is not something you choose, it's something you grow into.

"I've
had this role over the past few years, it has made me a better player,
stronger mentally, on and off the pitch and I am comfortable with that.

"You become the best by having team-mates around you that make you become the best. If the collective succeeds, you succeed."

The
former Barcelona and Inter star, who has been heavily linked with a
move to Manchester United, dismissed suggestions the Ireland back four
lacked pace - "I'm also slow so it doesn't matter. They can still be
good even if they are slow" - and admitted the result against Martin
O'Neill's men could go either way.

"It will be a
tough match, Ireland are a good team. I agree with [Sweden coach] Erik
Hamren, it's going to be a 50-50 game. What happens on the pitch is what
matters, it's all about the 90 minutes."

Ibrahimovic suggested he demands less from his Sweden team-mates than he did of PSG's expensively-assembled squad.

"I
think it's all about balance, being patient. I play differently with
PSG obviously but you must be patient in what you expect from your
team-mates.

"At PSG I make demands. Here I can't make the same demands out of the players.

"I've
got the maximum out of what I've done with the national team. I have
good chemistry with all the players, I work for them and they work for
me."

Man Allegedly Kills Friend Over Non Payment Of N50 Bottled Water In Lagos

The Lagos State Police arrested a man, 29 year old Ekanem
Enodan for allegedly stabbing his friend 46 year old commercial
motorcycle operator, Nicolas Goddonu, to death during an argument over
paying for a N50 bottle of water at Oke-Ira area, Ogba, Lagos.

According to reports, On June 8, Goddonu, a father of five visited
his friend Enodan at his shop in the company of his younger brother. He
allegedly went into the shop at about 10:50pm and took a bottle of water
which cost N50 without paying for it. Enodan allegedly tried to stop
Goddonu from leaving his shop with the water by hitting him on his head
with a bottle. Goddonu immediately slumped to the ground.

Enodan, thinking that Goddonu was pretending, walked over him, took back his bottled water and walked back into his shop.

Goddonu’s brother checked on him to make sure he was fine but raised
the alarm when he realized his brother wasn’t breathing and was
promptly rushed to the Ifako General Hospital, but was confirmed dead on
arrival.

However, there were several versions of what really killed Goddonu,
while some of them alleged that the Enodan stabbed him to death, others
said he only pushed him, which caused him to hit his head on the hard
floor.
An eyewitness Ufom Ekanem said:

‘They played a lot’. “The deceased and the
suspects were friends. That was not the first time he would collect
something from the shop and run away. “But he usually paid later. At
times, the shop owner would be chasing the motorcyclist and at other
times he would forcefully drag whatever Goddunu collected from his shop.
“On that fateful day, the shop owner only pushed the okadaman in the
chest, while attempting to collect the bottled water from him. He fell
in the process and became unconscious.”

Another eyewitness, Biodun Odufare, said:

“The deceased was from Egun, while the
suspect is from Cross River State. At about 11p.m., an argument which
everybody concluded was their normal play, began. “But we suspected that
the okadaman was drunk. As he was leaving the shop with the bottled
water, the shop owner threw an empty bottle of soft drink at him.

“The bottle hit the kiosk and shattered,
with one of its broken parts hitting Nicolas in the chest. He fell and
was confiremd dead inhospital.” “He fell down and became unconscious.
Later, we heard that he died at the hospital.”

The Spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, Dolapo Badmus, confirmed the incident saying:

“On June 9, at about 1a.m., one Mitchonou
Suru, 16, reported at Pen-Cinema Division that at about 10:50p.m. the
previous day, one Nicolas Goddonu, 46, was hit with a bottle by one
Ekanem Enodan, 29, of Baba Dada Estate, Opic, Ogun State, during a
quarrel between them.

“The victim was rushed to Ifako general
hospital where he later died. Suspect was arrested and detained while
corpse was deposited at the hospital’s mortuary for autopsy.”

Liberalisation: Job creation, school feeding, cash transfer rolled out – FG

Few days after the Federal Government announced its liberalisation of
the oil sector, the government has rolled out its people oriented
programmes it promised during the 2015 election campaign.
According to Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai
Mohammed, the programmes include job creation, conditional cash transfer
and school feeding to cushion the effects of the liberalisation
exercise.
Besides, as part of the palliative programme to cushion the harsh
effects of the petroleum price hike, the Federal government said 37
companies have already expressed interest to invest on the petroleum
downstream to ensure that the masses don’t feel abandoned as they pass
through the rough road of the new price regime.

This was revealed on Thursday when the National Working Committee
(NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) led by the party’s National
Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun met with the party’s state
executives and a high-level federal government delegation led by the
Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Engineer Babachir
David Lawal on the new petroleum products supply and pricing framework
introduced by the federal government.
Dignitaries at the meeting which held at the APC National Secretariat
included: Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed;
Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu; Minister of Labour and
Employment, Dr. Chris Nwabueze Ngige; APC Deputy National Chairman
(South), Engineer Segun Oni; APC Deputy National Chairman (North),
Senator Lawal Shuaibu; APC National Treasurer, Alhaji Bala Mohammed
Gwagwarwa; APC National Organising Secretary, Senator Osita Izunaso; APC
National Auditor, George Moghalu, APC National Youth Leader, Ibrahim
Dasuki Jalo; National Financial Secretary, Alhaji Tajudeen Bello amongst
others.

Speaking at the meeting, Chief Oyegun described it as very unique
because “we are coming together as a government and as the governing
party to exchange ideas. To ensure that both party and government are on
the same page in a lot of the very critical and important issues that
are taking place in our nation today.
“The main benefit of course, is that we want a situation where party
leaders from all over the country do not form their opinions on the
basis of newspaper publications because you are at the heart of
governance.
At the end of the month, we are also going to have what we term as a
policy dialogue which is already approved by all layers of governance in
the party. The policy dialogue will involve at least five leaders from
the thirty-six states of the Federation including the Federal Capital
Territory (FCT) to seat with the executive branch. At every retreat, we
will be taking five members from the executive to talk to us about the
situation they met on ground, to talk to us about what they are doing
now, and to talk to us about the future that they envisage.
In his comments, Secretary to the Government, Babachir Lawal observed
that along the line, key decisions have been taken by government and it
has not been possible that every time such key decisions were taken the
party will be consulted. Nevertheless, the president has tried to at
every step of the way consult quite a few of the key members of our
party.
“One of the major decisions that the government has taken of recent
time is the removal or the deregulation of the pricing mechanism of the
downstream sector of the petroleum industry.
“We feel that the leaders of our party and the government need to
have a class interaction to present the government side of the issue to
you…This is a family discussion and the government side are very well
equipped to respond to whatever issues you will want answers to.
“The delegation here was well selected. Education is one of the key
pivot policies that this government hinges on. Our education minister is
here. Employment is also one of the key policies that this government
focuses on, the minister of Labor and Employment is here.
Information Minister, Alhaji Mohammed said it’s important that “we
get the concept of liberalization very well because this is not about
subsidy removal. In the 2016 budget we made no provision for subsidy and
you cannot remove what was not there. Secondly,
“we did this because in 2015 alone, we paid over one trillion Naira
in subsidy and one trillion Naira in subsidy is 1/6 of the entire
national budget so we agreed that we are not going to put subsidy. So
what we did was not removing subsidy but actually liberalization but we
had to do it because if the country is to survive we do not have an
option.
“We do not have an option because the regime before now talking about
the fuel regime, was based on a process where some licensed oil
marketers would go to the central bank and open a letter of credit. When
a letter of credit is opened they bring in the fuel but unfortunately
the price of crude which accounted for over 70 per cent of our fuel
exchange crashed from an all-high level of 100 dollars to under 30
dollars, As a matter of fact for some parts of this year we sold crude
for 28 dollars.

“It’s just like somebody who had been earning 100,00 Naira a month
suddenly his salary is reduced to 30,000 Naira he will need to make some
very painful adjustments so the truth of the matter is that we have to
do this because there is no availability of foreign exchange. We don’t
have sufficient foreign exchange to open letter of credit for anybody
that wants to bring in fuel.

“Since October last year, 90 per cent of the petrol that has been
brought in till date was brought in by the NNPC because all the major
independent marketers have refused to bring in petrol. Why? Because they
said they had no access to foreign exchange and we can’t expect them to
buy foreign exchange on the open market and sell N86.50.

“So NNPC had to step in not because NNPC also had foreign exchange.
What NNPC had been doing is that they had been exchanging the 445,000
barrel of crude allocated daily for local refining and it has engaged in
a transparent process called DSDP-Direct Sale Direct Purchase. It now
gives this 445,000 of crude a day and changes it for petrol to come to
Nigeria but even that has its own disadvantages.
“The first is that the 445,000 barrels of crude even if we get all of
it to change for petrol, accounts for only 48 per cent total daily
consumption for the country. What NNPC had been doing since October is
to dip into the crude meant for the federation account to supplement the
DSDP.
“Let’s look at the benefit for Nigeria and for the common man. The
first benefit for Nigeria and for the common man is that it will
permanently eradicate subsidy and all corruption associated with
subsidy.
“In 2015 alone, over 1 trillion Naira was paid for subsidy. Even our
own administration had to go to the National Assembly for a
supplementary budget, a subsidy component of N522 billion. When this
system becomes operational we are not going to pay anybody subsidy which
means we can use that money for growth, education, health.
“Secondly, this price regime guarantees availability of product
everywhere in Nigeria at all times. It is very clear that this new price
regime will also strengthen and make our government at every level much
more viable because that crude belongs to a federation account which
NNPC had been using to supplement the fuel system will cease and then
there will now be more money for the three tiers of government to share.
Thirdly, this price regime is going to encourage more investment in
refineries and in downstream sector. Days ago thirty-seven companies
were jostling to invest in refineries in Nigeria just because we opened
up the sector.

Again, this price regime will lead to creation of more jobs because
when people invest in refining there will be more jobs and it will also
save existing jobs. We can see a minimum of 200,000 new jobs being
created and save existing 400,000 jobs. Those are the benefits of this
new price regime.
People will ask you, but how do you soften pain and there are two
answers you must give them: number one is that in the long run, jobs are
available, our people don’t have to sleep at the petrol stations it
softens their pains.

Secondly, like all systems when these things are first introduced,
the price will go up but it will definitely come down, it is about
market forces. Again, this is the only government that out of its own
conviction, love for the poor people made available half a trillion
Naira in the budget to take care of the common man. This is the social
intervention project we have and they will ask you what are they?

“The first is the employment of 500,000 unemployed graduates. The
second is the employment of 100,000 non graduates, technicians and
artisans. The third is the one meal a day programme targeting 5.5
million pupils all over Nigeria. This is the most exciting of all our
programmes. Even if we are going to give these children one egg a day it
means we will need 5.5 million eggs and in a calendar year of 200 days
we will need over a billion eggs. You can imagine what this will do to
agriculture.

“Fourthly, we have the enterprise scheme which is a system of
revolving loan. We are targeting one million market women and men,
460,000 artisans and technicians and 200,000 agricultural workers to be
given loans through their cooperatives to start their own businesses.

Finally, we have the 5,000 conditional cash transfers to one million
most vulnerable Nigerians as a first phase. Then finally we have
bursaries, scholarships for all students in Nigeria studying science,
technology, engineering and mathematics.

Web.com – Top Site Builders Duke It Out

Want to get the best website builder for your
time and money? See how Web.com weighs in versus Weebly in this head to
head feature comparison. We make it easy for you to decide which builder
is the best option for you, so you can get your site up and running
fast.

1. Templates

With over 2500 stunning designs, Web.com takes the cake here. The
templates are easily searchable to find the ideal theme for your
industry and style. Weebly’s template variety isn’t as strong as most,
but switching templates is a breeze. You can play around with the code
to get the design you want, ideal for people with coding background or
design skills. Winner: Web.com

2. Ease of Use

Weebly’s whole experience is super smooth. It’s extremely clear and
easy to use, changes are simple to implement, and they offer possibly
the most intuitive drag and drop tool in the industry. Web.com, is not
as simple to use on your own, emphasizing on custom-built sites rather
than DIY option. Winner: Weebly

3. e-Commerce

Web.com has fabulous e-Commerce solutions that can help you manage
and track your sites easily. Features include full payment processors
(even PayPal), simple add products functionality, order management
tools, customer tracking, reports, coupon code-maker, and tracking codes
to name a few. Weebly has good e-Commerce solutions, but it’s got a
long way to go. They offer a basic shopping cart and it’s easy to add
products, but the features and apps need to include more email,
analytics, management and responsiveness to compete. Winner: Web.com

4. Features

Both sites offer analytics, custom domain, hosting, social features,
and some form of SEO tools. Weebly recently launched their Carbon
version, though, which tips the scales. This feature-rich platform
includes a real-time dashboard loaded with stats of traffic and
e-commerce, a comprehensive site editor, mobile apps for on the go
tweaks, and an app center that allows you to integrate with third-party
services. Winner: Weebly

5. Mobile Responsive

Weebly offers fully mobile responsive themes that look great,
function smoothly and respond well to the touch. As mentioned, they
provide a mobile app that lets you monitor and edit while using a mobile
device. Web.com doesn’t actually have mobile dedicated themes. Rather,
their themes will adjust to the mobile device, but this can be choppy at
times. Also, there’s no mobile app for editing, and all maintenance is
done on a separate account from the desktop site, which is rather
cumbersome. Winner: Weebly

6. Customer Support

Weebly has decent support include a support page, live chat and
email, and dedicated phone support for Pro or Business plan
members.Web.com has all that, but they’ve got something even better.
Personalized website coaches will walk you through every step of the
design process, even critiquing your site for optimal performance and
style. Winner: Web.com

7. Bottom Line

Both options deliver quality service and a top-notch website. Web.com
is the preferred choice, though, if you don’t have the time or design
skills to really craft the kind of winning website design that makes you
stand out. Visit Web.com >>

Jaywon goes to School

It is no longer news that Nigerian superstar and indigenous
musician, Jaywon has become talk of town since

he dropped the most
anticipated album of all time after four years which he titled “Oba
Orin” meaning “King

of music”.

“Oba Orin was given to me by my fans,” Jaywon said, noting that the
album has been getting reviews from

different individuals both home and
abroad.

Jaywon as many popularly call him is now a case study for the
department of graphic design and digital art in

the Prague College, a
British university based in Czech Republic. A final year student in the
school recently

launched the study about his music in the center of
Prague art gallery as her final school project with and

exhibition that
was attended by many dignitaries both from Czech and France as well as
the Nigerian

ambassador to Czech Republic and top lecturers in the
university.
Ghana Must GoNigerian prostitutes vow to chase out foreigners

Nigerian prostitutes are not happy at the invasion of their counterparts from other countries.

Worried by the influx of commercial sex workers
into the country, especially those from West African countries,
especially Ghana, Togo, Benin Republic and Burkina Faso, members of the
National Association of Nigerian Prostitutes (NANP), led by new
President, Tamar Tion, has vowed to sanitize their industry and chase out the foreigners who have taken over a large chunk of their clients.

In a statement signed by Tion and her Secretary General, Sandra Efosa, the Nigerian prostitutes
are not happy that while they struggle to make ends meet, the
foreigners have also compounded their problem by trooping into the
country and taking over their trade.

The statement reads in part:

"In
view of the prevalent economic situation in the country, the officials
of NANP, have resolved to take up arms against prostitutes from other
countries who have invaded Nigeria and have taken over our customers.

These
ladies leave their countries, especially those from Ghana, Togo, Benin
and Burkina Faso, and come here to struggle for the few customers
willing to patronize us, thereby making things rather difficult for us.

We
will not accept that. This is what we call invasion. We do not want
them here. We have studied Nigerian men and know that many of them
prefer going for these foreign prostitutes so that they would boast to
their friends that they have also slept with foreign women.

As
a first measure, we have embarked on nationwide registration of all our
members so that we would be able to weed out those who are not
Nigerians and force them to back to their countries."

"Another
thing we have noticed is that these intruders charge ridiculously low
and our customers prefer paying the low amount to get their services. We
would not accept that. Also, remember that a few years ago, Ghanaian
prostitutes rose up in arms against Nigerian prostitutes operating in
their country and many as us were chased out.

Now is pay back time."

I caught my wife sending her nude photos to another man

If you found out that your wife had been cheating on you and had been sending nude photos to her lover, would you forgive her?

"Dear friends,

My name is Paul and I have been married to Kate for the past six years, with two kids, a boy and a girl.

Though
I cannot lay claim to being the best husband and father, I have never
shirked in my responsibilities to my family, my wife especially. I work
in a multi-media outfit that requires me to travel round the world and
could be away for two to three months at a stretch, all in a bid to take
care of my family and provide them with the best.

Anytime
I am home, I make sure I spend good time with them to make up for my
absence. When my job demands became so strenuous, I advised Kate to
resign from her job and I opened a boutique for her so that she would
have more time for the kids.

I did not
know that I did the wrong thing because the boutique opened her up to
meeting many people, including single women who became her friends and I
believe, influenced her wrongly.

You
would not imagine that I stumbled on some nude photos she sent to a man.
I had just returned to Nigeria from France where I had gone to
represent my company in a conference and was relaxing in the sitting
room while Kate was in the kitchen preparing lunch. Her phone was on
the table when a message came in. I

was
not used to checking her phone by the way but that day, out of
curiosity, I picked it up and it was a BBMessenger message that came in.

On opening it, I saw a text that read:

'Baby,
I must confess that you are hot babe and I can't seem to have enough of
you. The last time was out of this world. When will hubby leave town
again? I can't wait to have you screaming under me in the usual way.'

I
did not know when I felt faint but I managed to scroll back to earlier
exchanges and that was when I found out that my wife had been engaging
in this extra-marital affair for many months and had sent more than 20 nude photos to the man.

I
was shocked and switched off the phone and left the house. When I came
back, I asked her if she had any affair with another man and typically,
she denied vehemently and even picked up a fight.

When I showed her the
screen shots I had made of the messages and the nude photos, she broke
down and confessed that it was loneliness that led her into the
scandalous affair.

She has been begging me to forgive her but how can I forgive a woman who went that far?

Paul."

Dear readers, this is another case of gross infidelity and on Morning watch today, we ask: would you forgive a spouse who sends his/her nude photos to another person?

Oyetunji Abioye with agency report

The Central Bank of Nigeria may
introduce a dual exchange-rate system and weaken the naira when it
unveils a new policy this week, it has been learnt.

Sources, who attended a meeting between
the CBN Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, and top bankers, said the
regulator would probably make an announcement in a circular to banks, Bloomberg reported.

<ins id="aswift_1_expand" style="background-color: transparent; border: none; display: inline-table; height: 250px; margin: 0; padding: 0; position: relative; visibility: visible; width: 300px;"></ins>

Analysts including those at Renaissance
Capital Limited have said they expect the CBN to allow the naira to
weaken around a trading band in the interbank market, while allocating
dollars at a fixed rate to industries the government deems strategic.

According to the source, the CBN is
still working out details of the system and may reinstate a minimum
holding period for foreign investors buying naira bonds.

Emefiele has faced calls for more than a
year to devalue the currency, as other oil exporters from Russia to
Kazakhstan and Angola have done, amid a rout in crude prices since
mid-2014 to around $50 a barrel.

Investment into Nigeria has shrivelled
as foreigners are put off by capital controls needed to defend the peg,
while local businesses have struggled to import raw materials and
equipment.

The Acting Director, Corporate
Communications, CBN, Mr. Isaac Okoroafor, did not answer calls to his
mobile telephone or reply to a text message requesting comment.

The CBN has held the naira at 197-199
per dollar since March 2015, with Emefiele and President

Muhammadu
Buhari insisting that a weaker currency will leave consumers facing
higher prices.

That has already happened, with
inflation accelerating to an almost six-year high of 13.7 per cent in
April.

The statistics bureau is due to announce figures for May on
Tuesday (today).

The nation’s external reserves have fallen to a more than 10-year low of $26.4bn as the CBN seeks to defend the currency.

An economist and Chief Executive
Officer, Cowry Asset Management Limited, Mr. Johnson Chukwu, said a dual
exchange-rate policy could be prone to abuse, saying the country had
practised such in the past without much success.

He believes that a largely market-determined single exchange rate system is the best for the country.

“Dual exchange-rate system is a way
forward but it is not the end. We had practised it before but we had to
abandon it. I believe sooner or later we will abandon it if we eventual
adopt it,” he said.

3 very easy ways to know he's unfaithful

There is never a real moment of knowing when someone is unfaithful, but
it can be so easy finding out about a cheating spouse by using three
simple methods.

Even though there is never a real moment of knowing
when someone is unfaithful, some people just have instincts about a
cheating spouse. They could also be wrong. So, it's rather a series of
picking up signs and reasoning that the signs may lead to a possibility
of unfaithful behavior. Moreover , getting absolute evidence is perfect
and that may include these three factors below:

1. Confession to cheating:

This
is when one partner actually opens his mouth to accept to being a
cheat. This is perhaps the best way to know he's unfaithful. Admitting
to being unfaithful can mean two things: He loves you and wants to end
his secret affair to be with you or he's tired of hiding and wants you
gone so he could continue his secret romance.

    Cheating Husband, Infidelity, Marriage, Forgiveness

2. Catch them red handed:

This
also an absolute way to knowing he's been cheating. If you get to see
your man kissing or making love to another girl or you find out via his
private emails or text messages that he's prophesying love to another
person and even praising her for the sex last night. Another thing is
for you to see photos of them in bed or even a sex tape! These proofs
enough!

Subtle clues she is about to break up with you

3. Unreasonable lies:

Most
people find it hard to lie. These group of men end up confessing to
cheating by not even knowing they did. As they say, "one lie always
leads to another and finally you even forget the truth." Some women can
detect when their men are lying. For example, "you ask your man if he
went out on Valentine's Day while on a trip and he says "no babe, I was
home all day". Yet his girlfriend posted a video on social media showing
them both having an intimate time together in a completely different
state." What the hell!?

Four 4 reasons she’ll slap you in public

What would possibly push a woman to slap her partner in a public
place?

What could he do to hurt her that bad? Check out four good reasons
why.

In most relationships, women are slow to anger. They
turn to be more considerate, perseverance and patient towards their
partners. Even when things are going wild and out of control, women find
a way to calm everything or everyone down. So why would a woman be so
mad that she’ll slap her beau in public? Here are four interesting
reasons below:

1.) Lying to her face

Some
men think women love to be lied to, but the truth is that everyone
hates to be lied to. If she sees you doing something wrong, something
you promised NEVER to do again and yet you look her in the eye and lie,
be ready to get that face spank! "How dare you lie to my face!"

2.) Catches him cheating

All
women will probable react the same or even worse when she catches her
man red handed cheating on her. Most of the time, she sends the mistress
out and reigns a series of slaps on the guy. But, this is for the
calmer ones. For the very angry women, they could kill and regret their
actions later.

woman slapping man

3.) Being a jerk

Some
men just don't know how to behave in front of woman. A guy walks
towards a lady in the club and goes, "why is your a** looking like a
flat wall?" "Why are you looking like a frustrated widow?" - What do you
think she'd do to him? Some guys get too handy. They attempt to touch
the girl on the wrong places which could result to her slapping him

4.) Bad judgement

Sometimes
she could misunderstand everything and believe only what he's set her
mind to believe. That's why it's always great to have absolute evidence
on someone you're accusing of a crime. So don’t go about slapping an
innocent man who knows nothing about your accusations.

Neymar says representing Brazil on home soil at
the 2016 Olympics will be a "dream come true", while

expressing
excitement about the prospect of seeing sprint king Usain Bolt in
action.

The Barcelona forward - who was not involved in Brazil's brief Copa
America campaign in the United

States

- will be appearing at his second
Games, having also played at London 2012.

Brazil had to settle for the silver medal four years ago, losing to
Mexico in the final, but Neymar still has fond

memories of his time in
England.

"In my mind I've pictured playing in the Games in my country, and
it's going to be a dream come true for

me,"

he told Olympic.org.

"I've played in the Confederations Cup and the World Cup in Brazil,
and the Olympic Games will complete

the set. I'm going to be so happy
about it.

"London was so special. I had such an amazing time at my first Games and I'll remember it for the rest of my

life."

As well as playing for the hosts, Neymar is also excited about having
the opportunity to be part of the whole

Olympic experience.

"I really can't wait to see Usain Bolt in action. I'm a big fan," he said.

"I also want to see Brazil in the volleyball and basketball and watch
our swimmers and judokas, though what

I'm looking forward to most of
all is soaking up the atmosphere in the Olympic Village.

"In London we weren't with the other athletes, and I think it's going to be very different this time.

"I really admire the Brazilian athletes, and it’s going to be fantastic to share this experience with them."

A 300-level student of the Anambra State University, (ANSU), identified as Prosper, has committed suicide by drinking a poisonous substance said to be Sniper, after he discovered that his girlfriend had been cheating on him.

According
to a campus news portal, ANSUtalktalk, Prosper, died after he
reportedly sent his girlfriend a text message saying that by the time
she found him, he would be dead.

"His lodge mate was quoted as saying: 'Around 12:23am, we started hearing noise from him snoring heavily.

At first we thought it was normal until it got unbearable. So we had to enter his room and found him lying on the floor.

Then
we started praying, after which we made arrangements for him to be
taken to the hospital. Before then, we had already forced palm oil down
his throat.

So on getting to the nurse, she confirmed him dead. No be today dem begin dey get wahala. He usually complained that the girlfriend is giving him tough time.

In
fact, he used to cook and take to the girls lodge' but it seemed the
girl was cheating on him despite his love and care for her."

"He
had earlier called the girlfriends' best friend and asked her to take
good care of his girlfriend for him. The death is a painful one."

APC leaders set up panel to probe Kogi gov

Sunday Aborisade, Abuja

Members of the All Progressives Congress in the National Assembly
from Kogi State, House of Assembly members, executive of the party in
the state and prominent party leaders from the state, held a crucial
meeting in Abuja on Monday and accused Governor Yahaya Bello of engaging
in anti-party activities.

They therefore set-up an 11 member Disciplinary Committee headed by
Senator Dino Melaye, to review the various allegations leveled against
the governor, and report back within seven days.

The APC elected officers and party executive at the end of their
meeting that lasted three hours, accused the governor, among others, of
appointing card-carrying members of the Peoples Democratic Party in the
state as commissioners, special advisers, and councils’ caretaker
committee members.

According to the resolution of the meeting, which was also attended
by the APC Chairman in the state, Alhaji Haddy Ametuo, and read to
journalists by Melaye after the meeting, Bello allegedly made all the
appointments without carrying the party along.

For instance, the Kogi APC leaders said, “Out of the 15 Commissioners
he (Bello) appointed, PDP has 13 card-carrying members while APC has
two. Out of the 105 members of the Caretaker Committee members for the
21 Local Government Councils, PDP has 72 while APC has 33.”

They also said, “Out of the 28 people he appointed as Special
Advisers and Senior Special Assistants, PDP has 24, APC has one, APGA
has one, Labour has one, Accord has one.”

The party said it acted based on the Article 12 (8) of the APC
constitution, to convey the meeting and agreed to set up the committee
made up of members from the three senatorial districts of the state to
invite the governor, for necessary questioning.

They said their action became imperative following an alleged
decision of the governor to rebuff all attempts to hold a meeting with
the State Working Committee of the party since he was sworn-in as
governor.

They also threatened necessary disciplinary actions against the
governor in accordance with the party constitution, in case he chooses
to disregard the party resolution.

Part of the resolution reads, “After much deliberations, the House
noted that Governor Yahaya Bello, has substantially, breached the
provision of Article 21of the constitution of the APC.

“The House, therefore resolved to constitute a disciplinary committee
of 11 members to invite Governor Yahaya Bello and give him the desired
fair hearing”

Members of the disciplinary committees are, Senator Dino Melaye (
Chairman), Hon. S.T.Adejoh (Secretary), Senator Mohammed Ohiare,
Senator Abubakar Abdulrahman, Senator Nicholas Ugbane, and Alhaji Haddy
Ametuo, the APC Chairman in Kogi State.

Others are, Hon.Buba Jibril, Hajia Hajara Aliyu, Hon. Folasade Joseph, and Hon. Suleiman Ali.

Fantastic Omotola Jalade Ekeinde

I can sing better than most popular singers' Actress replies furiously
'Olamide destroyed my music hopes' ex-YBNL rapper says (XINO)

The emerging act who has been under the mentor ship of YBNL boss, expresses disappointment over his treatment by Olamide.

Former YBNL artiste Xino has expressed displeasure over the way he was treated by his ex-label boss and mentor Olamide during his time with him.

The
rapper whose music origins came from Jos, was signed by Olamide in
2015, adding him to a growing list of YBNL members which included Chinko
Ekun, Lil Kesh, Adekunle Gold, and Viktoh. Over 1 year later, Lil Kesh
has transitioned into a star with his personal record label, Adekunle
Gold is gearing for an LP release, and Temi Ovwasa, a new female act has
been added to the fold.

Xino's music was never
released, and according to the rapper, the fault lay with Olamide, who
'made him feel impatient and "dashed" his dreams.

The rapper made these accusations on Instagram, where he wrote a passionate and personal piece to explain his situation.

“Okay!
This post dey uncalled for totally, but bread wey dem leave for air gaz
dry. I used to be under YBNL Nation till my Boss, Mentor and Big bro
left me out on the streets with no form of support but these undoubtedly
wise words "Only the grind connects hustlers" Real talk. But real talk
no dey put records on countdown. I worked my ass off recording over 12
songs within a month and just to be recognised by the fam, but it's like
I was just shadow punching. I won't curse or slander coz we all love
him. This is a pussy move prally, but e no nice to have ur hopes of
making waves dashed (which they aren't) by someone u look up to and
believe in. I didn't mind waiting for even a year to have my records
out, but bros made it seem like I was the most impatient fool. The aim
of this post sha na to encourage my people dem to believe yourself, I
tot we was all from the street tho, but turns out... any how help me tag
someone that'll take this to heart. I am Xino and blood runs in my
veins what don't kill me make me stronger. I'm a better afro artiste,
growing producer and the total package. I might not fly round the world
yet for shutting down London and malay and eko hotel, but ehnn... I'll
be damned if I die with less than 10MILLION DOLLARS in my second
account. Now pls no more

questions. SHEY MAN GO LOYAL TILL HIM GET
HUNCHBACK”.

Under YBNL, Xino dropped two singles ‘Nakam’ and ‘TTYBL’ produced by Pheelz and recently a single titled ‘Ojumeta’. He is currently working independently to get his career mainstream.

The federal government has directed banks, insurance and financial
institutions to suspend plans to sack
workers in the sector. Minister of
labour and employment, Chris Ngige in a statement said; “Following
spate

of petitions and complaints from stakeholders in the banking,
insurance and financial institutions, I hereby

direct the suspension of
the on- going retrenchment pending the outcome of the conciliatory
meetings in the

industry,” “This is as a result of the apprehension by
my office of the various disputes in the sector in

accordance and in
compliance with the provisions of the labour laws of Nigeria. “In this
wise, all the

retrenchments and redundancies done in the last four
months and all proposed ones should be put on hold

pending the outcome
of the proposed stakeholders’ summit for the banking, insurance and
financial

institutions’ employers and employees, slated for July 2.” The
statement added that the continued

retrenchment and redundancy by the
sector were jeopardising the outcome of the reconciliatory and

mediatory
processes undertaken by the ministry.

A Lagos-based Lawyer Olumide Babalola has dragged the popular celebrity
blogger, Linda Ikeji before the Lagos High Court for several reliefs
bordering on unauthorized and offensive use of picture. In Suit No.
LD/3265MFHR/2016 before Hon. Justice O.H. Oshodi, the lawyer sued the
blogger for damages in the sum of N50, 000,000 (Fifty Million Naira) for
the unauthorized use of his picture on her blog for crime-related
stories which he claimed has subjected him to mental and psychological
torture in violation of his constitutional right to dignity of human
person and freedom from degrading treatment.

Pending the time of
the hearing of the main suit, Justice O.H. Oshodi granted an injunction
restraining Linda Ikeji from further use of the lawyer’s picture
otherwise she would be committed to prison for contempt of court.

PM
News obtained the copy of the court order which was granted on the 12th
of May, 2016, wherein the court restrained the blogger from further
publishing Mr. Olumide Babalola’s pictures for crime-related stories.

[b]PM
News also reliably gathered that the award-winning lawyer who just
returned from New York, United States of America, where he was presented
with an International Gold award for quality and excellence in business
in recognition of his varying public interest litigations had earlier
written to Linda Ikeji to desist from further publication but the
blogger called him bluff.

The matter has been adjourned to September 2016 for hearing.

USB OTG Cable - 7 Important Things You Can Use It For On Android

OTG is short for On-The-Go. It is a standard that allows devices to
talk(connect) to one another. OTG is a simple that can do a lot of
amazing things but a lot of people have not even heard about it, some
have heard about it but don't know what it is or what it does.

In this post, I'll be listing a few cool stuffs you can do with a USB OTG cable.

Connecting A Game Pad To An Android Device

For
a hardcore gamer, playing games on an android screen just won't be good
enough. However with the use of an OTG cable, you can easily connect
your game pad to your android phone and get the same gaming experience
as on a Playstation or Xbox.

Connecting A Mouse To Your Android Phone

With
the aid of an OTG cable you can connect a mouse to your android device.
When a mouse is connected to your Android using a USB OTG cable, a
mouse pointer appears on the screen allowing you to click to select and
open items on the screen.
The touch screen continues to function as normal even when a mouse is connected.

Sharing Battery Charge Between Two Devices

This
days, we see devices with extra large battery capacities like the
oukitel K10000 with 10,000mah or Tecno L8 with 5050mah. All that battery
is too much to use alone, with OTG you can share some of that battery
with friends and families... Enemies too just to make them jealous.. Lol
To share battery charge between two phones, all you need is an OTG cable and a regular charger cable.
When
you have everything ready, connect the charger cable to one of the
phones and connect the OTG cable to the other phone. Attach the two
cables together, the phone with a smaller charge level will start to
charge.
The charging will continue until the batteries of both
phones has almost the same level of charge. However you can stop the
charging anytime by disconnecting the cables.

Connecting A Modem To Your Phone/Tablet

People
who have WiFi only tablets or devices without 3G support might need to
use 3G Modem with their Android device to get something downloaded
quickly when their broadband is too slow or down.
This can be done
using an Android app called PPP Widget. Just as the name suggests, it is
a widget, not an app. It is available for free in the Play Store. You
can download it to your device from here.

Superfast File Transfer Between Two Devices

There
are various methods of transferring files between devices like
Bluetooth, Hot Knot, Xender/flash share etc. However there are often
complications when using some of these methods. One of safest ways to
share files between two Android devices is sharing it via OTG.
You can make a direct connection between the two Android phones/tablets and transfer files between Android via USB OTG.

Connecting A Keyboard To Your Android Device

A
USB keyboard can be connected to your Android Device using a USB OTG
cable, touch inside a text input area to start typing using the
keyboard.
The on-screen keyboard is hidden when a physical keyboard is connected.
Some
of the key combinations that perform actions on Windows also function
on a phone/tablet, in most apps. For example, you can Cut using (Ctrl +
X), Copy using (Ctrl + C), and Paste using (Ctrl + V) on your keyboard.

Connecting A Flash Drive To Your Android Device

Certain
devices like the S6 and S6 edge do not support SD card instead they
come with internal storage ranging from 16GB to 128GB.
So when your
storage is full you have no choice but to start deleting older files to
collect new ones. However by connecting a flash drive to your Android
device, you get more storage space at your disposal.

These are some of the coolest uses of an OTG cable.

You can get an OTG Cable at stores or on Konga/Jumia from N500.
