Couple Jailed After Stabbing One Another During Argument Over American Idol

York, PA. (The Weekly Vice) - Gregory Stambaugh, 57, and Karen Harrelson, 48, were jailed last Wednesday after they allegedly stabbed each other during an argument over which contestant should win 'American Idol.'

According to police, Stambaugh and Harrelson had been watching the show at Stambaugh's home Wednesday evening when they got into an argument over who should win the season's title.

Investigators say one of the suspects went to the kitchen, grabbed a knife and stabbed the other. In retaliation, the other suspect grabbed the knife and stabbed back.

When police arrived at the scene, both Stambaugh and Harrelson argued about who stabbed first.

Police believe alcohol was likely a factor in the altercation.

Stambaugh and Harrelson were booked into the York County Prison and charged with assault.

Camille Fields - Jailed After Daughter Arrives To School With Large Bite Mark On Face

Dothan, Alabama (The Weekly Vice) - Camille Dorit Fields, a 28-year-old Dothan woman, was jailed Monday after she allegedly bit her 7-year-old daughter in the face.

According to Dothan police, a school official contacted the Department of Human Services after Fields' 7-year-old daughter came to school with a large injury on her face.

When they questioned the little girl, she informed them that her mother had bitten her on the face.

Investigators say the victim also had a similar injury to her chest area. The case was turned over to Dothan police who later took Fields into custody.

Fields was booked into jail and charged with torture and willful abuse of a child under 18 years of age by a responsible adult. Her bond was set at $50,000.

Joesph Meacham - Flees From Police During Traffic Stop, Attempts To Hide Inside Police Headquarters

Clayton, Missouri (The Weekly Vice) - Joseph Meacham, a 39-year-old St. Louis man was jailed Wednesday after he allegedly ran into a police department while trying to flee officers.

According to the Clayton Police, an officer was attempting to pull Meacham over for an unknown traffic violation when Meacham stopped the vehicle and fled on foot.

As Meacham was being chased by the officer, he unknowingly ran into the St. Louis County police headquarters looking for a place to hide.

Investigators say detectives watched as Meacham darted in and out of hallways, clearly not knowing where he was going.

Eventually, Meacham ran into an office occupied by the Chief of Police. That's when he realized that he had hit a dead end, dropped to the floor and curled up into a ball. Meacham was then taken into custody at gun point.

"He acted like if he didn't look up and couldn't see us, then we couldn't see him," said St. Louis County Lt. Bryan Ludwig.

Meacham was booked into jail and issued several court summonses. He was later released without bail.

A female who was a passenger in Meacham's vehicle during the arrest was also taken into custody, but has been cooperative with police.

Rodney Wold - Jailed After Threatening Neighbor With Rifle Over Wabbits

Louisville, KY (The Weekly Vice) - Rodney Wold, a 64-year-old Kentucky man, was jailed after he allegedly threatened a neighbor with an AK-47 because the neighbor had been shooting at wabbits, err rabbits.

According to Louisville Police, Wold became angry when he caught his neighbor sitting on his back porch shooting at rabbits.

In retaliation, Wold retrieved a loaded AK-47 rife from his home, pointed it at his neighbor and yelled "if you want to hunt something, you can hunt man."

When officers arrived on the scene, the neighbor admitted to shooting at rabbits with an air rifle because they were damaging his garden.

The neighbor's wife, who witnessed the incident, told officers that they had previously had problems with Wold.

After obtaining permission to search Wold's residence, officers located the AK-47 between the mattress and box spring of his bed. Officers found the rifle loaded with a magazine that held 19 rounds, according to the arrest affidavit.

Wold was booked into jail and charged with wanton endangerment. His bond has been set at $5,000.

Selena Velasquez - Charged After Threatening To Cry Rape Unless Man Ponies Up $500 Per Week

Albuquerque, N.M. (The Weekly Vice) - Selena Velasquez, a 17-year-old New Mexico woman, has been jailed after she allegedly had consensual sex with a 43-year-old man, then threatened to file rape charges if he didn't pay her $500 per week.

According to state police, Velasquez was at a Cinco de Mayo party in Pecos earlier this month when she met a 43-year-old man and had consensual sex with him.

After the encounter, Velasquez allegedly told the man that she would report the sex as rape if he didn't pay her $500 every Friday for three consecutive weeks.

Investigators say Velasquez made matters worse by visiting the man's work uninvited, repeatedly texting him and threatening to harm him and his daughter.

After reporting the alleged blackmailing scheme to police, investigators directed the victim to call Velasquez and agree to her demands while they monitored the call.

The victim agreed to meet Velasquez at a local Walmart where he was to make the first $500 payment. When Valesquez showed up to collect payment and accepted an envelope filled with fake money, officers pounced.

During questioning, Valesquez reportedly admitted to having consensual sex with the man. She was taken to jail shortly thereafter.

She was booked into the Santa Fe County Juvenile Detention Center and charged with felony extortion. She was released on Monday.

The man was not charged in the case because the age of consent in New Mexico is 16.

Dr. Unk Charged With Dr.unk Driving After Striking Man On Bicycle

Delaware, Ohio (The Weekly Vice) - Elizabeth Unk, a 38-year-old Worthington doctor, was jailed after she allegedly hit a pedestrian while driving under the influence of alcohol.

According to the Delaware County Prosecutor's Office, on September 12th, Unk was driving her 2007 Chrysler Pacifica on U.S. 23 and Green Meadows Drive when she reportedly struck a bicyclist riding on the side of the road. The man, identified as Dominick Schiavone, sustained serious injuries from the collision.

Investigators say when officers arrived on the scene, they noted that there was "moderate contact damage", and the windshield of doctor Unk's vehicle was smashed.

Officers determined that Unk was driving while intoxicated at the time of the accident and she was apprehended. Test results later showed Unk's blood-alcohol level to be twice the legal limit.

Unk was booked into jail and charged with one felony count of vehicular assault and two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Her license was subsequently suspended.

Kassandra Martinez Murdered Her Cousin For Gas Money

Dallas, Texas (The Weekly Vice) - Kassandra Martinez, a 20-year-old Dallas woman, was jailed Sunday after she repeatedly ran over her cousin with her car during an argument over gas money.

She then drove home to get some sleep - obviously tuckered out from all that driving.

According to Dallas police, Martinez was at a club with her cousin and her cousin's two sisters when the girls began arguing about where to go next (home or out to eat somewhere).

Angry that she wasn't getting her way, Martinez left the club alone with the girls' purses in the trunk of her car. The three girls left behind at the club were forced to find a ride from a friend who was also at the club.

During the ride home, the girls noticed that Martinez had stopped off for gas at a local gas station, so they asked the driver to stop and let them out so they could retrieve their purses.

That's when Martinez reportedly began arguing with them, demanding that they give her gas money. When the girls refused, Martinez retorted "Well, if that's the way it is..." before backing over her cousin who had been waiting at the rear of her vehicle to get her purse.

After backing over the victim, Martinez then put the car into drive and then drove over her cousin a second time.

Martinez then drove home to go to bed while her cousin, identified as 24-year-old Yunel Aguilar, was rushed to Parkland Memorial Hospital. She was pronounced dead a short time later.

Surveillance video captured from the scene showed the entire incident as it unfolded. Investigators were able to use the video to identify Martinez's VW Passat, which was found at her residence.

Martinez was arrested when Aguilar's mother called and convinced her to come up to the hospital.

During a police interview, Martinez admitted that she did not have a driver's license, but claimed that she was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol when she ran over her cousin.

Martinez was booked into jail and charged with murder. She remains jailed in lieu of $150,000 bail.

John Allison Had A Spicy Date Waiting For Him In The Deli Section

Potsdam, New York (The Weekly Vice) - John Allison, a 41-year-old Potsdam man, was jailed Wednesday after he allegedly masturbated with a stick of pepperoni at a local grocery store - then put the food product back on the shelf for others to enjoy.

According to New York state police, Allison entered the Hannaford Grocery store at St. Lawrence Plaza, grabbed a stick of pepperoni, and proceeded to rub his penis against it.

After satisfying himself, Allison placed the pepperoni back on the shelf and attempted to exit the store.

A loss prevention officer who witnessed the act over surveillance video called police and provided them with video of what had transpired.

Allison was charged with public lewdness and fourth-degree criminal mischief. He is currently being held in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bond.

Krystle Harrison - Charged With Biting Boyfriend's Penis After He Turned Her Down For Sex

Bradenton, Florida (The Weekly Vice) - Krystle Harrison, a 19-year-old Florida woman, was jailed last week after she allegedly took a bite out of her boyfriend's penis after he turned her down for sex.

According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, Harrison and her boyfriend were in bed when Harrison touched him in a suggestive manner and told him that she was in the mood for sex.

After the boyfriend had refused Harrison's request for sex several times, Harrison retaliated by grabbing his penis and then biting it.

Investigators say the boyfriend jumped out of bed and left the residence, however, Harrison followed him through the door and continued to argue with him outside.

When the boyfriend still refused to have sex, Harrison slapped him in the face and then spit on him.

At some point during the argument, a tussle broke out between the pair, resulting in scratch marks to the victim's chest.

When deputies arrived on the scene and saw the victim's injuries, they immediately took Harrison into custody.

She was booked into the Manatee County Jail and charged with battery domestic violence. She was released after posting $1,500 bond.

Timothy Phillips, Lacey Chaney - Jailed After Forcing Little Girl To Live In Basement, Urinate Outside

Independence, MO (The Weekly Vice) - Timothy Phillips, 30, and Lacey Chaney, 27, have been jailed after they allegedly forced a 9-year-old girl to live in a basement, refused to treat her medical conditions and forced her to urinate outside because they didn't want to "contract the infections that she had."

According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, details of the case began to unfold Friday when the little girl was sent to the school nurse because she smelled strongly of urine.

The victim told the nurse that her private parts hurt, so the nurse examined the girl and found that her genital area was seriously inflamed and appeared to be infected.

The little girl told the nurse that she was not allowed to use the restroom inside her house because her family didn't want to contract the infections that she had. Instead, she was forced to live in the basement and go outside when she needed to urinate or defecate.

When sheriff's deputies arrived at the family's home, the victim's father and his live-in girlfriend acknowledged locking the girl in their unfinished basement with little food or water. They also told deputies that they "popped her in the mouth and whooped her on the butt" as punishment for a recent school infraction.

The basement door was equipped with a chain lock and a security alarm that would sound if the girl tried to open the basement door.

Investigators say the father, his girlfriend and his girlfriend's son all lived upstairs while the little girl was kept down in the basement. He explained to detectives that the girl could not control her bladder and that he could "not afford to keep cleaning up after her."

The father also stated that he knew that not bathing the girl contributed to her infections. He stated that he didn't pursue medical treatment for the child because "what difference would it make, she is just going to piss herself anyway." He then told detectives that he didn't bath the girl because she had been sexually assaulted in a shower in the past. He surmised that the girl didn't like taking showers because of that experience.

Chaney, the father's girlfriend, told police that she believed the little girl wet herself because she preferred to be alone. Chaney also stated that she forced the girl to urinate outside because she contracted a yeast infection in the past and believes that it came from a toilet that had been used by the victim.

When investigators asked why the girl went to school smelling of urine every day, the father stated that the family did not own a washing machine. Deputies, however, toured the upstairs living areas and found that every other member of the family had clothes that were clean and neatly folded in their drawers.

The unfinished basement where the girl resided, however, was found to be dirty, unsafe with exposed wires and had a leaking sewage pipe, according to an arrest affidavit.

Deputies also found a blanket that appeared to have been used as toilet paper. The girl's clothing, which all smelled of urine and mildew, was found in a pile outside the home.

Neighbors told investigators that Phillips was often verbally abusive towards the girl and that she was sometimes sent to the bus stop an hour early during the winter without a winter coat.

Phillips and Chaney were booked into the Jackson County Jail and charged with abuse or neglect of a child, first-degree endangering the welfare of a child and felonious restraint. Their bond has been set at $100,000.

Chaney's son is currently staying with relatives. The victim was taken into protective custody and is being treated at a local hospital.

Stephanie Redus - Pregnant Woman Puts Toddler Son Up For Adoption On Craigslist

Houston, Texas (The Weekly Vice) - Stephanie Redus, a 29-year-old Huffman woman, has been jailed after she allegedly posted an ad on Craigslist seeking a person who could adopt her toddler son.

According to Houston Police, Redus posted the ad on May 1st, stating that she couldn't properly care for her son and was "desperate" to find someone who could.

The message Redus posted is as follows:

"Hi, I am trying to adopt out my three-year-old son. I'm not in a good place in my life and I don't feel like I can care for him properly, but I don't know where to start. If you or know anyone who is interested in caring for him please let me know. I'm a single mom and can't do this.

Thanks, Desperate."

An officer found the posted ad and responded to it posing as an interested party. Redus reportedly wrote back and explained that she was looking for someone to adopt her child because she is currently pregnant an unable to take medication that treats her depression and anxiety.

Investigators obtained a subpeona for the website and identified Redus as the person who posted the ad.

During a police interview, Redus admitted to placing the ad but stated that she never intended to go through with it.

She claimed to have spoken with one other interested party. During the conversation she asked the respondent if he/she had any other children and requested that they send her pictures of their home.

Redus was booked into jail and charged with misdemeanor advertising for placement of a child. She was freed after posting $1,000 bail.

The child was taken into protective custody and then placed with his father.

John Welden - Charged With Murder After Tricking Girlfriend Into Taking Abortion Pills

Tampa, Florida (The Weekly Vice) - John Andrew Welden, a 28-year-old Florida man, has been jailed he allegedly tricked his girlfriend into taking an abortion pill that killed her unborn child.

According to police, Welden forged his doctor father's signature to obtain a prescription for Cytotec, a medication used for the prevention of ulcers that doubles as an effective abortion pill.

The victim, 26-year-old Remee Lee, told investigators that Welden begged her to terminate the pregnancy, however, she decided early on that she intended to carry the child full term.

When Lee learned that she was pregnant, Welden reportedly took her to see his father, who is an obstetrician in Lutz, Florida. Lee was examined and determined to be six-weeks pregnant at the time.

The next day, however, Welden called Lee and explained that her blood test showed that she also had a bacterial infection that would require Amoxicillin to clear up. He claimed to have picked up a prescription for her and then drove out to her home in Tampa to hand deliver it to her.

Welden informed Lee that she was instructed to take the antibiotic three times per day and continue taking the medication until it was gone. Lee told investigators that she didn't question Welden's intentions because they were "in love" and planned to be married.

"He used this pregnancy as my Achilles heel. He knew I wanted to do what is best, so that is why I took them." said Lee. "He told me to keep taking them."

On Easter Sunday, Lee reportedly went to a local hospital complaining of severe cramps and excessive vaginal bleeding.

When hospital staff asked what medications she had been taking, Lee showed them the bottle of Amoxicillin she thought she had been prescribed. That's when doctors informed her that the pills she had been taking were abortion pills and that her child no longer had a heartbeat.

A subsequent investigation revealed that Welden had allegedly obtained Cytotec and then switched the label with a bottle of Amoxicillin in order to trick his girlfriend into taking the undesired medication.

Weldon was booked into jail and charged with first-degree murder and interfering with interstate commerce. He is currently being held without bond because he has been deemed a flight risk.

Mohammed Ahmed - Charged With Attempting To Hire Prostitute During Florida Honeymood, New Bride Reports Him Missing

Orlando, FL (The Weekly Vice) - Mohammed Ahmed, a 21-year-old Chicago man, was jailed last week after he allegedly tried to hire a prostitute while he and his bride were on their honeymoon in Orlando, Florida.

According to police, Ahmed and his new bride were on their honeymoon when he answered an advertisement on Backpage.com which offered sex in exchange for money.

Little did Ahmed know that the advertisement had been placed by detectives with the Polk County Sheriffs Office as part of a large-scale prostitution sweep.

Investigators say Ahmed left his bride at the Omni Hotel in Champions Gate to meet the would-be prostitute at a local hotel. He was taken into custody after offering cash in exchange for sex.

Ahmed's wife called 911 and attempted to report him missing. She was informed that Ahmed was not missing, but instead had been taken to jail for attempting to hire a prostitute for sex.

He was booked into the Polk County Jail and charged with soliciting prostitution.

The Polk County Sheriff's Office nabbed 12 pimps, 39 alleged prostitutes and 39 alleged johns during the 4-day operation.

Kalkaska, Mich (The Weekly Vice) - Derek Lavis, a 45-year-old Michigan man, was jailed Monday after he allegedly tried to free his girlfriend from the county jail by repeatedly ramming his vehicle into its outside wall.

According to the Kalkaska County Sheriff's Office, corrections officers were alerted at around 10:30 p.m. Sunday when they heard a loud banging sound against the jail's north-facing wall.

When deputies looked to see what was creating the noise, they found a Chevy Suburban that was repeatedly being rammed against the wall.

When the driver, later identified as Derek Lavis, saw that he had been spotted, he fled the scene.

Detectives say Lavis was attempting to free a woman who was being detained inside the jail. Although Lavis appeared to have known the woman's location inside the jail, the woman has denied having prior knowledge of the jail-break attempt. She has not yet been charged in the case.

Lavis was arrested at 9 a.m.. Monday morning after he was located in a wooded area about 12 miles south of the jail.

He was booked into jail and charged with attempted aiding of a prisoner escape and malicious destruction of a building.

Amanda Brennan - Teacher - Charged With Luring Student Into Inappropriate Relationship

Henderson, Nevada (The Weekly Vice) - Amanda Brennan, a 24-year-old English teacher at Foothill High School, was jailed Friday after she allegedly engaged in an inappropriate relationship with an underage student.

According to police, an investigation was launched after the parents of a 15-year-old student contacted a school resource officer and reported that Brennan was pursuing an inappropriate relationship with their son.

The boy's parents were further aggravated when Brennan picked the student up from their home and took him to the movies against their wishes. She also reportedly brought the boy back home after his scheduled curfew.

When investigators interviewed the student, he told them that he and Brennan loved each other and had kissed and cuddled in the backseat of her car.

Detectives also discovered that Brennan and the boy had exchanged more than 1,000 text messages over a 9 day period.

Brennan reportedly admitted to taking the student out and communicating with him outside of school. She went on to say that she knew the relationship was wrong, but loved the student and did it anyway. She was immediately placed under arrest.

She was booked into the Clark County Detention Center and charged with two counts of luring a child and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Her bail has been set at $20,000.

Robert Golba - Jailed After Passing Out Drunk On Top Of Mother, Trapping Her For Hours

Riverside, Illinois (The Weekly Vice) - Robert Golba, a 55-year-old Riverside man, was jailed Thursday after he allegedly passed out drunk on top of his mother - pinning her to the floor for hours.

According to Riverside Police, Golba became intoxicated and then passed out on top of his 81-year-old mother.

The victim remained trapped under her son for several hours before she was able to get relatives to call police.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found the victim still lying on the kitchen floor with her legs entwined with her son's legs as he slept.

Investigators say Golba was extremely combative when officers woke him up and took him into custody. According to an order of protection against him, he was not allowed to be inside the residence while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

The victim was taken to Loyola University Medical Center, where doctors told her that her hip was broken in three places and required surgery.

Golba was taken to McNeal Hospital to be treated for alcohol poisoning. He was charged with one count of felony violation of order of protection.

David Beckman - Charged With Sexually Abusing Pet Peacock, Indecent Solicitation Of A Child

Roselle, Illinois (The Weekly Vice) - David Beckman, a 64-year-old Illinois man, was jailed Wednesday after he allegedly raped his pet peacock.

According to Roselle police, detectives learned that Beckman sexually assaulted his pet peacock while he was under investigation for the indecent solicitation of a child.

Although detectives have declined to get into details about the case, a spokesperson for the State Attorney's Office has confirmed that Beckman is accused of sexually assaulting the bird.

Investigators say the bird, whose name is Phyl, was found deceased in Beckman's garage on April 28. Detectives reported seeing the animal alive just a few days earlier while investigating the child solicitation case.

Beckman was booked into the Dupage County Jail and charged with harassment by telephone, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of marijuana possession, attempted indecent solicitation of a child between 13 and 17, cruelty to animals and two counts of battery.

He remains held in lieu of $10,000 and has been scheduled for a June 12 arraignment hearing.

Burns told investigators that her boyfriend intentionally passed gas in her face during his trip to the kitchen. In retaliation, Burns allegedly grabbed a knife from the kitchen, threw it at her boyfriend and then fled the scene. The knife reportedly struck the boyfriend in the abdomen.

A short time later, according to the boyfriend, Burns returned to the house and struck him in the arm with a stick after the two began arguing again.

Deputies who arrived on the scene found the boyfriend bleeding from cuts to his abdomen and left arm. Burns was apprehended a short time later.

During questioning, Burns told investigators that her boyfriend began yelling at her when she confronted him over his flatulence. She stated that she only attacked him after he told her to "shut up."

She was booked into the Collier County Jail and charged with aggravated battery. She remains held in lieu of $50,000 bond.

Burns has a long arrest history in Collier County that include charges of battery, cocaine possession, fraud, possession of drug paraphernalia, trespassing, failure to pay child support and failure to appear in court.

Erin Upham - Charged With Sexually Assaulting Toddler Girl, Sending Images To Service Member

Manchester, N.H. (The Weekly Vice) - Erin Upham, a 20-year-old New Hampshire woman, was jailed last Thursday after she allegedly molested a 3-year-old girl, took photographs of the assault, then sent the images to an Air Force officer stationed in Japan.

According to Manchester Police, an investigation was launched late last month after the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations informed them that a service member had received sexually explicit photographs of a young girl.

Those images were allegedly sent to the service member by Erin Upham and the 3-year-old girl she is accused of assaulting has also been identified.

Investigators say Upham engaged in sexual contact with the child, took digital images of the abuse and then transferred the images using Skype.

She was booked into jail and charged with aggravated felonious sexual assault, manufacturing of child sexual abuse images and distribution of child sexual abuse images.

The service member involved is currently under investigation by the Air Force Office of Special Investigations and charges are still pending.

Bryan Zuniga - Apprehended By Alligator After Fleeing Traffic Stop

St. Petersburg, FL (The Weekly Vice) - Bryan Zuniga, a 20-year-old Florida man, was jailed Thursday after he allegedly fled from police during a traffic stop. He was taken into custody by an alligator a short time later.

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, a deputy attempted to pull Zuniga over after his vehicle was observed failing to maintain a single lane.

Investigators say Zuniga stopped the vehicle, bailed out of the vehicle through the passenger side door and escaped through a hole in a nearby fence.

The deputy was unable to keep up with Zuniga and broke off the pursuit.

Zuniga turned up a couple of hours later, however, when he checked himself into a local hospital where he was being treated for puncture wounds to the face and arm.

When deputies arrived at the hospital, Zuniga told them that he had been attacked by an alligator near a water treatment facility in St. Petersburg. Deputies waited for the hospital to complete their treatment before taking him into custody.

He was booked into the Pinellas County Jail and charged with breaking fences, eluding a law enforcement officer, driving with a suspended license and resisting arrest without violence.

Debra Farinella - Jailed After Swiping Decorations From Grave Sites, Using Them To Decorate Her Home

St Cloud, FL (The Weekly Vice) - Debra Farinella, a 57-year-old Florida woman, has been jailed after she allegedly stole more than 100 grave site decorations to decorate her home and yard.

According to St. Cloud police, Farinella stole as many as 140 items from Mt. Peace Cemetery in St. Cloud, including statues, lights, ceramic pedestals, sculptures, flowers and personal affects.

Even more shocking, Farinella reportedly stole items from the grave sites of several children and used the items to decorate the inside of her home.

An investigation was launched last week when a city employee noticed Farinella's activities and was able to get a partial license plate number from her car. Six people had also recently filed complaints with police stating that items were missing from their loved one's grave sites.

Detectives were able to identify Farinella as the suspect and obtained a search warrant for her home. When officers arrived at her home, they found her yard littered with many of the items that had been reported missing.

Several victims who lost grave site decorations from their children or grandchildren recovered the items when investigators found them in Farinella's home.

A short time after officers served their search warrant, Farinella claimed to be having heart trouble. She was taken to a local hospital where she is currently being treated.

Upon her release from the hospital she will be booked into jail and charged with felony theft charges, according to police. The mugshot above is from a previous arrest.

Cedar Hill, TX (The Weekly Vice) - Marlena Mints, a 31-year-old health teacher at Bessie Coleman Middle School, has been jailed after she allegedly had sex with at least two students.

According to police, an investigation was launched in late April after a coach at the same middle school reported that a 13-year-old student was overheard bragging about having sex with Mints.

As the investigation unfolded, detectives learned that Mints allegedly had sexual contact with several students.

Investigators the first relationship began when a 13-year-old student texted Mints and told her that he was having a problem with his penis. Mints reportedly texted the student back, stating that she could help him with his problem, but that she'd have to have a look at his penis in person.

The student told investigators that he thought it would be okay because Mints was his health and sex education teacher. When he went to the school and exposed himself to her, she allegedly performed oral sex on him.

The student also stated that other students in the class touched Mints' breasts and buttocks.

As detectives were investigating the first student's claims, they learned that Mints had also been exchanging text messages with a 17-year-old student.

During her text conversation with the older student she allegedly asked him if he "liked white girls." She then allegedly picked the student up, drove him to her home and performed oral sex on him.

Mints was booked into jail and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child and two counts of improper relationship with students.

Sabrina Morton Sent Nicholas Bailey's Testicles A Message They Won't Soon Forget

Spartanburg, South Carolina (The Weekly Vice) - South Carolina couple Nicholas Bailey, 31, and Sabrina Morton, 26, were jailed Sunday after they allegedly got into a brawl that didn't end well for Bailey's testicles.

According to the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office, the couple began arguing after Bailey came home intoxicated and attempted to sleep it off in the couple's shower.

Investigators say the couple shoved each other back and forth until Bailey pulled a chunk of hair out of Morton's head. In retaliation, Morton used her nails to send Bailey's testicles a message.

When deputies arrived on the scene, Bailey was sitting naked on the couch, bleeding from multiple lacerations to his genital area.

Bailey and Morton were booked into the Spartanburg County Jail and charged with domestic violence. They were released after posting bail.

Andrea Fiegle - Jailed After Slashing Dog's Throat After Animal Sniffed Her Daughter's Crotch

Haleiwa, Hawaii (The Weekly Vice) - Andrea Fiegle, a 36-year-old Hawaii woman, was jailed Sunday after she allegedly slit a dog's throat because it sniffed her daughter's crotch.

According to police, officers were dispatched to Fiegle's residence Sunday after she called 911 to report that her dog was dead.

Officers arrived at the residence to find the dog dead with its throat slashed.

Fiegle, according to the arrest report, purchased the dog for her 9-year-old daughter, but was dismayed because the animal wouldn't stop sniffing her daughter's private areas.

Fiegle admitted to slashing the dog's neck in retaliation for the offending sniff. When asked if the dog seemed dangerous or had bitten anyone, Fiegle answered "No."

She was booked into jail and charged with felony cruelty to animals. She was released after posting $11,000 bail.

Giovanna Yaranga - Teacher - Charged With Repeatedly Having Sex With Student

Burlington, VA (The Weekly Vice) - Giovanna Yaranga, a 44-year-old Spanish teacher at Burlington High School, was jailed Saturday after she was allegedly caught in the back seat of her car with a student.

According to police, an investigation was launched at around 8 p.m. on April 29 when an officer on routine patrol noticed a car parked suspiciously behind a building.

When the officer approached the vehicle, he found Yaranga sitting in the back seat of her car with a 17-year-old student.

Yaranga reportedly told the officer that she was a teacher and the boy was a student that she mentored when he was having trouble. When asked why she was mentoring him in the back seat of a car, she stated that they "needed the extra leg room."

As the investigation unfolded, police learned that a relationship had been developing between Yaranga and the student over a long period of time. Last summer, according to the arrest report, the boy accompanied Yaranga to her home country of Peru.

The boy told investigators that the relationship was not sexual at that point, but began to change last fall. That's when the pair began kissing, holding hands and eventually having sexual intercourse, according to the arrest affidavit.

Investigators say the student estimates that the two had sex on 10 occasions during the intimate portion of their relationship. Police do not believe the pair engaged in sexual activity during school hours or on school property.

Yaranga told detectives that the boy was confused and that she had encouraged him to date people his own age, including her daughter.

Yaranga was booked into jail and charged with four counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. She pleaded not guilty at her arraignment hearing on Monday.
