Phases
Of Software Development Project:-

A software development process consists of
various phases, each phase ending with a defined output. The phases are
performed is an order specified by the process model being followed. The main
reason for having a phased process is that it breaks the problem of developing
software into successfully performing a set of phases, each handling a
different concern of software development. This insures that the cost of
development is lower than what it would have been if the whole problem was
tackled together. Thus, in order to manage the complexity, project tracking,
and quality, all the development process consists of a set of phases. Various
process models have been proposed for developing upon the problem.

Software development activity
consists of the following activities:-

Requirement analysis and specification:-

            Requirement analysis
is done in order to understand the problem of the software system is to solve.
The problem could be automating and be existing manual process, developing a
new automated system. The emphasis in requirements analysis in an identifying
what is needed from the system, not how the system will achieve its goal. This
fact is complicated by the fact that there are often at least two parties
involved in software development a client and a developer.

            In
most software project the requirement phases ends with a document describing
all the requirements specification document. The person responsible for the
requirement analysis is often called the analyst.

Design
and specification:-

            The
purpose of design phase is to plan a solution of the problem specified by the requirement
document. This phase is the first step in moving from the problem domain of the
solution domain. The design of system is perhaps the most critical factor
affecting the quality of the software it has a major impact on the later phases,
particularly testing and maintenance. The output of this phase is the design
document.

            The
design activity is often divided into two separate phases-system design and
detailed design. System design, which is sometimes also called top-level design,
aims to identify the modules that should be in the, the specification of these
modules and how they interact with each other to produce the desired results.
During detailed design, the internal logic of each of the modules specified.
The logic of a module is independent of the target language in which the
software will eventually implement.

Coding:-

The goal of the coding phase is to
translate the design of the system into code n a given programming language.
The coding phase affects both testing and maintenance profoundly. Well written
code can reduce the testing and maintenance effort. Because the testing and
maintenance cost of software are much higher than the coding cost, the goal of
coding should be to reduce the testing and maintenance effort. Hence during
coding the focus should be on developing programs that are easy to read and
understand, and not simply on developing programs that are easy to write.
Simplicity and clarity should strived for during the coding phase.

Testing:-

            Testing
is the major quality control measure used during software development. Its
basic function is to detect errors in software. During requirements analysis
and design, the output is a document that is usually textual and
non-executable. After the coding phase computer programs are available that can
be executed for testing purpose. This implies that testing not only has uncovered
errors, introduced during coding but also errors introduced during the previous
phases. Thus the goal of testing is to uncover requirement, design and coding errors
in the programs. Consequently, different levels of testing are used.

            The
starting point of testing is unit testing. In this a module is tested separately
and is often performed by the code himself simultaneously along with the coding
of the module. During integration of modules integration testing is performed
to detect design errors by focusing on testing the interconnection between
modules.

            Testing
is an extremely critical and time consuming activity. It requires proper planning
of the overall testing process. Frequently the testing process starts with a
test plan that identifies all the testing related activities that must be performed
and specifies the schedule, allocate the resource, and specifies guidelines for
testing

The linear sequential model

            The
linear sequential model for software engineering sometimes called the “classic
life cycle” or the “waterfall model” the linear sequential model suggests a
systematic, sequential approach to software development that begins at the
system level and progresses through analysis, design coding, testing and
maintenance.

The RAD model:-

            The
Rapid Application Development (RAD) is a linear sequential software development
process model that emphasizes n external short development cycle. The RAD model
is a “high speed” adoption of the linear sequential model in which rapid development
is achieved by using a component based construction approach. If requirements
are well understood and project scope is constrained the Rad process enables a
development team to “create a fully functional system” within very short time periods.
Used primarily for information systems applications.

The Prototyping model

            The
goal of prototyping based development process is to counter the first
limitations of the water fall model. The basic idea here is that instead of
freezing the requirements before any designing or coding can proceed, a throw
way prototype is build to help understand the requirements. This prototype
development is based on the currently known requirements. Development of the prototype
undergoes design, coding and testing. Ideally, the prototype serves as a
mechanism for identify software requirements.

The Incremental model :-

The incremental
model combines elements of the linear sequential model with the iterative
philosophy of prototyping. The Incremental model applies linear sequences in a
staggered fashion. Each linear sequence produces a deliverable “increment” of
the software. The incremental model is like prototyping and other evolutionary
approaches, is interactive in nature. But unlike prototyping, the incremental
model focuses on the delivery of an operational product with each increment.

Incremental
development is particularly useful when staffing is unavailable for a complete
implementation by the business dealed that has been established for the
project.

The Spiral Model:-

            The
spiral model originally proposed by Boehm, is an evolutionary software process
model that couples the interactive nature of the prototyping with the controlled
and systematic aspects of the linear sequential model. It provides the
potential for rapid development of incremental versions of the software. In the
spiral model, software is developed in a series of incremental releases. During
early iteration, the incremental release might be a paper or model or
prototype. During later iterations, increasingly more complete versions of the
engineered system are produced.

            The
spiral model is divided in to a number of framework activities, also called
task regions.

The Component assembly model:-

            The
Component assembly model incorporates many of the characteristics of the spiral
model. It is evolutionary in nature demanding the iterative approach to the
creation of software. The engineering activity begins with the identification
of candidate classes. This is accomplished by examining data that are to be
manipulated by the application and the algorithm that will be applied to
accomplish the manipulation. Corresponding data and algorithms are packaged
into a class. Classes are components created in post software projects are
stored in a class library or repository.

The Concurrent Development Model:-

            The
Concurrent development model, sometimes called concurrent engineering. The
concurrent process model can be schematically as a series of major technical
activities, tasks and their associated states. The concurrent process model
defines a series of events that will trigger transitions from state to state
for each of the software engineering activities. The concurrent process model
is often used as paradigm for the development of client / server application. A
client/server system is composed of a functional component.

The Formal Methods Model:-

            The
formal methods model encompasses a set of activities that lead to mathematical specification
of computer software. Formal method enables a software engineer to specify,
develop and verify a computer based system by applying a rigorous, mathematical
notation. A variation on this approach, called clean room software engineering
is currently applied by some software development organizations. When formal
methods are used during development, they provide a mechanism for eliminating
many of the problems that are difficult to overcome using other software
engineering parading. When formal methods are used during design, they serve as
a basis for program. Verification and therefore enable the software engineering
to discover ad correct errors that might otherwise go undetected.

They have realized that man has been very cruel to animals. He has been so cruel that manyspecies of wild animals are extinct now and many are on the stage of extinction. The Royal Bengal Tiger, The Great indian elephant, The Asiatic Lion, the Indian Bustard and the siberian crane, well known species of wild life in the country, face the danger of extinction.

Man Has always hunted animals are food, for adventure and, for greed og money. He has killed Lions, Tigers and crocodiles for their skin and elephant for there tusks. Deforestation in a large number has also has resulted in their destruction.

ThePublic and government beacme aware of this fact, and decide to preserve them, strict laws were passed prohibbiting the killing of wild animals. in 1972 the central wild life Act was passed. under this act species of animals facing the danger of extinction have been given protection of hunting. Trade in these species has been also subjected to certain rules, The Indian Board of Wild Life has also been formed to advise the government on wild life. There are some also voluntery organisations also like. The Bombay History natural society and The World Life Fund, India which have done commendable work in this direction. As a result off these efforts fourty four national Parks and 207 sancuaries have been stablished all over the country to give these animals protection and ensure there survival. Kanha National PArk in Madhya Pradesh, Bharatpur Bird Sancuary in Rajasthan. Corbett National Park and Dudhwa national PArk in U.P and Gir Natioanal Park in Gujrat, are some of these. The Government has achieved considerable success but much more is desired. Many species of animals and Birds are still in danger of extinction.

India still possess rich abundant and colourful wild life. It is the glory of our country. We have to it from derstruction.

to help to improve the condition of poor and suffering people, and to aid
people in any way he could, but always using without force. he was
against every sort of evil, no matter of what kind, when he tried to find
out about the condition among poor farm workers, the people crowded
around him by the hundreds. A friend had come among them, someone who
wanted to help them, and to them this was something new. When the police
ordered Gandhi to leave the place, he refused and in the court he
explained why he could not obey. Then he asked the court to punish him
for breaking the law. The court did not know what verdict to give him in
such a case, and so let him go free. This was the first step in what
come to be an important and common event in many part of India to refuse
to obey a law considered to be unjust and at the same time calmly to
accept any punishment that might be given and never to retaliate.

Television
might be abused and then it may warp the mind of its viewers,
especially those young once, who are sensitive to every kind of
impression. But if it is properly used, it may lead to the enhancement
of human life itself. We should try by means of this great mode of
communication, which has such as an immediate impact on the minds of
people who view it, to to enable them to cost off super station, to
emancipate their mind from any kind of narrowness, combat every kind of
false idea which has taken lodgement in the minds of these people. It is
therefore great means of education. We should use it for that purpose
and it is my earnests hope that the television will be employed in this
country for the good purpose of improving the quality of our men and
women and not for making them shoddy and sloven.

                    we should use
documentaries, short plays, films, abridgments of classics, so that
the student do not get in schools and college might be provided for them
when they view the television. That is what is necessary. I think under
paper management, it may be regarded as one of the highest mode of mass
communication. You have three sight hearing, Pictures, Music - all
these things mixed together.

The real ornament of a woman is her character, her purity, metal and
stones can never be a real ornaments. The names of women like Sita and
damaynti have became sacred to us for their unsullied virtue, never for
their jewelery, if they wore any. My asking from you your jewelry has
also a wider significance. Several sisters have told me that they feel
all the better getting rid of their jewels. I have called this an act of
merit in more ways than one. No man or woman are entitled to the
possession of wealth, unless he or she is given a fair share of it to
the poor and helpless. it is social and religious obligation and has been
called a sacrifice by the bhagvad gita. He who does not offer this
sacrifice has been called a thief. the geeta has enumerated many forms
of sacrifice, but what great sacrifice can be there than to serve to the
poor and the needy? For us, today, there can be no sacrifice higher tan
to be forget the distinctions of high and low to realize the equality
of all men. I also wish to bring home to the women of the India that
real ornamentation lies not in loading the body with metal and stone,

The News paper is a necessary and
important for me as my breakfast. I may not have my breakfast. I may not
have mt breakfast but i must havde the news paper. Reading a newspaper
is almost a passion for me now.

I can vividly remeber the incident which prompted me to
read newspapers. it was my twelth birthday. A friend of my sister
presented me a bat and a began to chat with me. She jnew my interest in
ricket. So cricket was her obvious choice for our coversation. But she
was greaty surprised to learn that i did not know the name of the indian
skipper, who was given great publicity by the presss. His picture and a
short biographical sketch had appeared in the newspapers on that every
day. My ignorance of the current affairs put me to get embarrasement. I
realized then that reading a news paper was nota waste of time and
money. It is an enjoyeable and rewarding experience.

My interest in reading newspaper grew deeper and stronger
day by day. It did not take me long to discover that a newspaper is
packed with the latest news items of different type. The columns of news
paper cater to the interest of readers of different age group, tastes,
rades and occupations. One can find gods plenty in a news paper to
choose from. Lovers of games and sports can look for the desired news in
the columns devoted to games and sports. unemployed youth can find
useful information about employment opportunities in the advertisements
issued by big business and industrial organizations, Service Selection
boards, State and union Public Service Commission.

Make Your Windows Fast As
Never Before

Disable CD Autorun( WinXP PRO
Only)

1) Click Start, Run and enter
GPEDIT.MSC

2) Go to Computer Configuration,

Administrative Templates,
System.

3) Locate the entry for Turn
autoplay off and modify it as you

desire.
-----------------------------------
2. Speed Up Browsing When you connect to a web site your computer sends information back and forth. Some of this information deals with resolving the site name to an IP address, the stuff that TCP/IP really deals with, not words. This is DNS information and is used so that you will not need to ask for the site location each and every time you visit the site. Although Windows XP and Windows XP have a pretty efficient DNS cache, you can increase its overall performance by increasing its size. You can do this with the registry entries below:

3>>Windows Registry Editor Version
5.00

Go to > Run> REGEDIT

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEM
CurrentControlSetServices
DnscacheParameters]
"CacheHashTableBucketSize"=dword:00000001"CacheHashTableSize"=dword:00000180"MaxCacheEntryTtlLimit"=dword:0000fa00"MaxSOACacheEntryTtlLimit"=dword:0000012dMake
a new text file and rename it to dnscache.reg. Then copy and paste the above into it and save it. Merge it into the registry.DISABLE INDEXING SERVICESIndexing Services is a small little program that uses large amounts of RAM and can often make a computer endlessly
loud and noisy. This system
process indexes and updates
lists of all the files that are on
your computer. It does this so
that when you do a search for something on your computer, it
will search faster by scanning
the index lists. If you don't
search your computer often, or
even if you do search often, this
system service is completely unnecessary.

4>>To disable do the following:

1. Go to Start
2. Click Settings
3. Click Control Panel
4. Double-click Add/Remove
Programs 5. Click the Add/Remove Window
Components
6. Uncheck the Indexing services
7. Click Next OPTIMISE DISPLAY SETTINGS
Windows XP can look sexy but
displaying all the visual items can
waste system resources.

To optimize:
1.Go to Start 2. Click Settings
3. Click Control Panel
4. Click System
5. Click Advanced tab
6. In the Performance tab click
Settings 7. Leave only the following
ticked:- Show shadows under
menus- Show shadows under
mouse pointer- Show translucent
selection rectangle- Use drop
shadows for icons labels on the desktop- Use visual styles on
windows and buttonsSPEEDUP
FOLDER BROWSINGYou may have
noticed that everytime you open
my computer to browse folders
that there is a slight delay. This is because Windows XP
automatically searches for
network files and printers
everytime you open Windows
Explorer.
5>>To fix this and to increase
browsing significantly:

1. Open My Computer
2. Click on Tools menu
3. Click on Folder Options
4. Click on the View tab. 5. Uncheck the Automatically
search for network folders and
printers check box
6. Click Apply
7. Click Ok
8. Reboot your computer REMOVE THE DESKTOP PICTURE
desktop background consumes a
fair amount of memory and can
slow the loading time of your
system.

Removing it will improve
performance. 1. Right click on Desktop and
select Properties
2. Select the Desktop tab
3. In the Background window
select None
4. Click Ok

DISABLE UNNECESSARY SERVICES
Because Windows XP has to be all
things to all people it has many
services running that take up
system resources that you will
never need. Below is a list of services that can be disabled on
most machines:

6>>AlerterClipbookComputer
BrowserDistributed Link Tracking
ClientFast User SwitchingHelp and
enabled)Human Interface Access DevicesIndexing ServiceIPSEC
security)Remote Registry
extra security)ServerSSDP
Pray will disable this)TelnetTCP/IP
NetBIOS HelperUpload
ManagerUniversal Plug and Play Device HostWindows TimeWireless
Zero Configuration (Do not
disable if you use a wireless
network)Workstation

7>>To disable these services:
Go to Start and then Run and
type "services.msc"
Doubleclick on the service you
want to changeChange the
startup type to 'Disable" REMOVE ANNOYING DELETE
CONFIRMATION MESSAGES
Although not strictly a
performance tweak I love this fix
as it makes my machine 'feel'
faster. I hate the annoying 'are you
sure?' messages that XP
displays, especially if I have to
use a laptop touchpad to close
them.

8>>To remove these messages:
1. Right-click on the 'Recycle Bin'
on the desktop and then click
'Properties'
2. Clear the 'Display Delete
Confirmation Dialog' check box and click 'Ok'If you do accidently
delete a file don't worry as all is
not lost. Just go to your Recycle
Bin and 'Restore' the file.

Yes no bla bla Applications can be minimized in Nokia S60 versions by pressing the Home Key. But in case of S40 it was impossible but there is a trick with which you can minimize the Java Applications in Nokia S40 as well. There are Basically some Major (But Easy) steps.

Steps.
1-Download JAF on pc.
2-Connect your Phone with pc in PC-Suite Mode.
3-Open JAF and go to BB5 Tab.
4-Tick the following.
a-Read pp.
b-Normal Mode.
c-CRT 308(Already Ticked).
5-Now Click Service.
6-Save the *.pp file on Desktop.
7-Open the *.pp file in Notepad.
8-In case the Phone is-
a-Nokia s40 v3 then Search for 28 1 line and change it to 28 2
b-Nokia s40 v5 or v6 then Search for 48 and change it to 48 2
c-In case there is no 48 or 28 then add the Appropriate line i.e 48 2 or 28 2.
9-Save the *.pp
10-Open JAF>BB5 Tab.
11-Tick the following:
a-Upload pp
b-Normal Modec CRT-308 (Already Ticked)
12-Click on Service.
13-Select the *.pp File.
14-After it shows Done, Select Normal Mode from the Drop Down Menu.
15-Phone will Restart and show Test in RNDIS USB mode? Press NO. This popup will be shown on every restart this is normal..

Now we have successfully disabled the Nokia Security wall.
Edit Java Application.
Steps
1-Copy the Java(.jar) application to the computer.
2-Open the *.jar file with WinRAR.
3-Browse to Meta-Inf Folder and Open it.
4-Open the Manifest.MF file in Notepad.
5-At the end of the codes add this line Nokia-MIDlet-no-exit: true
6-Save the notepad file.
7-Click on Yes when WinRAR asks to Update the Archive.
8-Copy the *.jar file to Nokia.

To Minimize the Application Open the application and press the Red button once.To Restore the Application Go to the folder where the application is and then press on the application once. Thats it.for jaf click here Download JAF

Increase Virtual Memory

PLEASE NOTE! This can screw up your PC, I am not responsible for what happens.
1. Hold down the Windows Key and press the Pause/Break button at the top right of your keyboard (another way is right-clicking your computer and clicking Properties).
2. Click on the Advanced tab.
3. Under Performance, click Settings.
4. Then click the Advanced tab on the button that pops up.
5. Under Virtual Memory at the bottom, click Change.
6. Click the Custom Size button.
7. For the initial size (dependingon your HD space), type in anywhere from 1000-1500 (although i use 4000), and for the Maximum size type in anywhere from 2000-2500 (i use 6000).
8. Click Set, and then exit out of all of the windows.
9. Finally, restart your computer.
10. You now have a faster
computer and 1-2gb of virtual RAM

MAKE MOZILLA 10X FASTER

1. Set " network.http.pipelining " to "true"
Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"
set " network.http.pipelining.maxrequests " to some number like 30.

This means it will make 30 requests at once.

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay "
and set its value to "0".
This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.

Begginning of tut:

Start->Run->type cmd
in each drive type attrib /s /d it will display the list of all files in that drive along with folders.concntrate on files having SHR attribute.normally virus files have two characteristics
1.SHR attribute
2.Queer name like amvo.exe,r6r.exe,autorun.inf etc.

Note:some system files also have this attribute like MSDOS.SYS,IO.SYS etc so before deleting googling about that file will help.

to delete these files type c:>del /f /s /a <filename extension="" with="">

>> to view the content of files with .inf,.vbs,.c etc i.e files which r not batch files or executables.goto explorer n then goto the required drive or folder n type the filename with extension it wil open up in notepad.

>>there is another method also.goto the required location n type attrib -s -h -r filename
then use gui to see that hiiden file.if it is not n exe or .bat or then open it with notepad. Here you will get some information like a file name or a registry key which the virus affects or a startup item or process.Change this or uncheck the startup.

if file is not deleted like it says access denied it means it already used by some process.open task manager n find a process of the same name or some process which is not a valid windows process(better google) n end that process.

if not found open msconfig goto statrup tab n look at if a startup items seems queer(u wil have this feeling if u r n experienced windows user otherwise all da startup items may seem queer.)uncheck that.u may also learn about da startup item by googling.after unchecking restart the computer then restart the computer.

This method is effective in removing some spywares or some small but annoying virii like maskrider etc. which r sometimes not detected by antivirus softwares.</filename>

Funny VIrus Code

It will not harm your computer it is only for fun, if you wants to disturb your friends PC just Copy and Past this file and double click on it...

CODE:

-----------------------------
Set oWMP = CreateObject("WMPlayer.OCX.7" )
Set colCDROMs = oWMP.cdromCollection
if colCDROMs.Count >= 1 then
do
For i = 0 to colCDROMs.Count - 1
colCDROMs.Item(i).Eject
Next ' cdrom
For i = 0 to colCDROMs.Count - 1
colCDROMs.Item(i).Eject
Next ' cdrom
loop
End If

****************************************

copy this into notepad and save it as anyname.vbs like virus.vbs
and then double click on it...what u see....bingo

Now if u want to disable this go to task manager click on process

Go to the key :- GoTo Run> Type REGEDIT > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > MicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersion> WinLogon
Now create a new string Value in the right pane named 'LegalNoticeCaption' and enter the value that you want to see in the MenuBar.

Now create yet another new string value and name it:
'LegalNoticeText'.
Modify it and insert the message you want to display each time Windows boots.

This can be effectively used to display the company's private policy each time the user logs on to his NT box.

It Is Very Funny, You Can Display Text What You Wants to say or Welcome to user.
Today the computer is an essential part of human life without which they cannot do their day-to-day tasks.

This amazing machine has made life easier for most people and contributed to their overall growth. Today almost all household have at least one computer but the most important question that arises here is, if the owner is concerned about the proper maintenance of the machine or not.

Most people either fail or forget to properly maintain their computer from both internal and external threats that can seriously jeopardize the functioning of the machine. However, with just a few important tips you can effectively maintain your computer and can keep its functioning as good as ever.

Here are a few essential maintenance tips to keep your computer stable and in a perfect condition:

1. Perform a disk clean up for maintaining the speed of your computer. Running regular disk clean up can clean your system of unnecessary data. This step can be done manually or by running the disk cleanup utility in Windows.

2. Running a registry cleaning software can relieve your system from obsolete and corrupt entries in the registry file. A clogged registry can severely hamper the performance of your system and can even cause it to crash. So, it is important to clean your Windows registry at regular intervals.

3. By using an Anti-Spyware program you can clean your system from malicious programs that intend to steal your data and cause your system to clog.

4. Viruses are one of the most common and serious threat to computers and using a good updated Anti-virus program will help your computer to rid itself from harmful viruses.

5. Lastly, you need to clear all un-important software installed on your computer as they cause a lot of trouble during the Windows startup process and make the process a rather clumsy one.

By following these simple steps you can effectively shield your computer from all internal and external threats.

Nokia Secret Codes

Nokia secret codes

→ *#06# IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity)

→ *#67705646# This will clear the LCD display (operator logo)

→ *#7780# Reset to factory settings

→ *#2820# Bluetooth device address

→ *#62209526# Display MAC address device support WLAN like N 80 #pw+1234567890+1# shows if sim have restrictions

→ *#746025625# sim clock allowed status

→ *#7370925538# Note, your data in the wallet will be erased phone will ask you the lock code default lock code is 12345 press
