What do I say?

I have felt your pain, many years ago when I started online marketing and realized that I needed to be able to add value and content online to get my name out there and develop relationships with like minded people. After all that is what the internet is all about.

Here is how I create content and make my time count and “get it done.”

If we are connected on facebook or twitter, you may notice that I have a “Note” or blog post added every day. But, here’s a secret. I don’t create this content everyday. I do content in blocks of time for one or two weeks in advance, and then use the “Posting options” feature that most blogs have to allow your content to “post” at designated times.

I may create 10-14 short business blurbs in one, two hour sitting, add them to my blog and set them up to post everyday or two. I have my blogs hooked in through Friendfeed.com, Twitter and Facebook applications so that my postings automatically show up.

I learned how to do this just by playing around, so if you have a blog, look at the posting options and see if you don’t have a function allowing you to set the date and time.

Go to Settings and then Application Settings at the top right of your facebook page. Or, do like I did and get the book “Facebook for Dummies!”

If you can set your Single Daily Actions and weekly actions up to make the most of chunks of time, you’ll get extremely efficient and effective and will find that managing a business both online and offline is not that tricky.

Where to find content? Last week I pulled out two 1999 Upline Magazines and took ideas from that. No, I didn’t just copy what I read but I took one person’s 10 tips for something and found 5 ideas from that and put those into my own words. I found someone else’s article on relationship building and re-wrote it.

If you don’t have Jan Ruhe’s M.L.M. Nuts and Bolts, GET IT! There is limitless content that you can take from that and put into your own words. Same with Zig Ziglar’s Network Marketing for Dummies.

Priceless nuggets that you can pull from and create great content.

Finally, search out other blogs and post comments (of value) and begin generating name recognition from those who also visit that blog. What do I mean by value? Don’t just say “Good job.” That doesn’t provide value to those who read comments (and there are many!) Writing something more about what you actually GOT from the content is best.

I made a blog post comment last week on someone’s blog and got a personal email thank you from the blog owner, picked up 10 names for my own newsletter and 14 Twitter followers. Keep in mind, these are quality, targeted leads who are already interested in my message. Much better than random followers who have no clue who you are! Never know where those things will lead!

Squeeze in time for your internet marketing efforts as you continue to build in other ways. I spend only about 20 to 40 minutes a day actually ON social media sites, unless I am done with other things and it’s into the evening and too late to be calling leads, etc. Sometimes while the kids are doing homework, I can hang with my laptop and “Tweet” on twitter or jump around on facebook. I always work to make that time count.

And, remember to be SOCIAL as much as business on SOCIAL media sites. Instead of blasting your opportunity, mention what’s great about your business that fits into your lifestyle. People will become attracted and click on your profile to learn more. You don’t even need to post a link if you are providing value!

EXPECT Success!

Getting New Distributor started

The cycle of duplication begins and ends with getting your new Distributor started. It is important to understand that once you have successfully brought a new Distributor into your organization, you become their coach and mentor. The more successful you are at coaching them to be confident in talking to and approaching others, and disciplined in following the system, the more successful you will become in turning your goals and your organization's goals into reality.

Always remember that your success is 100 percent dependent upon the success of your new Distributor. The two most important things about getting a new Distributor started are to get them started quickly and to get them started properly. If you don't, they are likely to become frustrated and quit.
Within 24 hours of a new Distributor joining your organization, you need to schedule time with them to help get them started.
Here are some steps for getting a new Distributor started:

Understand your new Distributor's goals and objectives

Review your new Distributor's prospect list

Ensure your new Distributor has purchased the right amount of sales tools and understands how to use them to build his/her business

Review the duplicatable system for prospecting and recruiting

Develop a 30-day prospecting plan

Begin prospecting immediately-massive action in the first 30 days will drive excitement, belief and results

Here are some tips for working with your new Distributors:

Encourage your new Distributors to get started quickly-momentum will drive their business-building efforts

Lead by example. Only do things you want your new Distributors to do. The things you say and do will be duplicated by your new Distributors and through their organizations

Focus on building relationships with your new Distributors. This is a relationship-driven business

Don't tell people what to do, be a teacher. Explain to them what they should do and why they should do it

Be patient with your new Distributors. You were new at one time. Give them a chance to get comfortable and confident

Don't put more into a new Distributor's business than they are willing to do. Remember, you cannot want them to succeed more than they do themselves

Always build belief in your new Distributors as there are "dream stealers" around every corner

Above all else, be accessible, be visible and be patient with your new Distributors and you will be pleased with the results!

Three Way Call

Three-way phone calls are one of the most valuable, but under-used tools available in building your business.

These are the reasons that three-way phone calls are so important:

It answers questions specific to your prospect so they can come to a positive decision.

It validates the teamwork approach of our industry. Most people engage in this business part-time and it is very comforting to know that a support system is in place - they don't have to be an expert and do this by themselves.

It becomes a teaching tool for your new Distributors. It demonstrates how easy it is to duplicate the business and teaches them how to present the business through repetition.

And it's simple to use. In fact, it's a perfect fit in the three-step presenting process.

First, you share your personal story with your prospect, why you started with Waiora. Then, determine their interest level, saying for example, "Are you as excited about this as I am?"

Second, introduce them to the opportunity using what ever method your company teaches. I personally use a sizzle call to sort prospects. a recorded 5 minute overview call and leave a message to contact me. Or giving them a prospecting CD/DVD. Toward the end of the call I will ask " When they will have a chance to look at the CD?DVD.

He/She has reviewed the CD/ DVD and it is something they want to do,<strike> invite</strike> put your prospect on a three-way phone call (set it up immediately after steps one and two). Introduce your upline (their professional background or personal story) and explain how they have additional important information to share. This introduction establishes the credibility of the presenter in the mind of your prospect.

When I do three-way calls, one of the first things I ask a prospect is, "What interested you in XYZ Company?" followed by, "What do you hope to accomplish with XYZ Company?" These questions start the call with positive affirmation of their interest and also gauge their business-building goals.

Then, I share my personal story, and tailor the Companys presentation according to their interests and goals (that's why it is so important to understand the needs and interests of your prospect). Then, as the call concludes, it's important to always ask "What else do you need to know before you get started?" or "Are you ready to join our team?" Simply hearing a second, similar opinion shared with excitement and passion provides the all important belief that a prospect needs.

With a three-way call, you have someone doing the presentation for you, providing not only third-party validation to your prospect but also training for you, so that you learn how to do it for your team. Use three-way calls to access valuable third-party experience and validation and your business will grow.
