Life is something more than just earning the money

Many people think that we live only to earn money. So they work hard to gather more and more money (for they could feel independent and free in the future).
We work for the most of our life, and than we... die (sorry, you spent life working, there was no time for something else).
Where is the pleasure of living ? I mean real and full pleasure (not just temporal). There is no time for it. The time is the money. More time we waste, less we earn. That's today's motto.
It's not right... We people are like slaves (or robots)... We live in a dark times (just like our ancestors). And the worst thing of all is that they try to tell us that we are free and we can do what we want (yeah you can work and live or die hungry). Life equals work. That's why most of the people are unhappy. Have you ever seen happy slave ? I haven't.

There is no such thing as "something for free"...

It is nice to get something for free. Most of the people on this world pulls out their hands for something that someone decided to give them (without considering at the same time what was really happened).

If you get something for free it does not mean that the donor just conjured it up or found it on the street. This person had to create it or spent his/her own money to buy it (sponsor it). This person has devoted his own time and resources for you (in the name of some stupid idea: fame, gratitude, the good of humanity or something else). If someone would like to try to sum the value of this "dedication", it would… No wait… Most of the people don't "waste" their time for such trivial thing as estimation of someone's else work…

Most of the people comes with a simple assumption: "I take if they give". A very carefree attitude. And very comfortable. Why wonder : Why did we get something from someone ? Why wonder whether this person deserves the thanks or compensation.
There is no time for it... They are preoccupied with themselves. Some go even further. Their approach can be summarized in few words: "I take it because I deserve it, because the world was created for me and my pleasure. I am the one to whom it should be, and those who want something from me are just: robbers, greedy criminals and thieves. Let all of them will go to hell.".

Unfortunately, I have to disappoint you. For each of the items received we all will pay one way or another. So better sooner or later. We do not have to pay the money, if we do not want. We can do something else. This may be a good word (good but sincere word), creating something else in return, do something for the good of the others. Life is not a single person's performance and others are not the background of our life. They all are a part of us and we are a part of them. I am talking about the unity.

The program I have written is a repayment to the world for freeware programs I use.

The question I want to ask is simple. How did you repay the world for things you get for free ? Did you payed or donated the author ? Did you watched and clicked some stupid advertisement to support the author's site ? Did you say a good word about the author or his/her work ? Did you help him/her somehow ? Did you get involved in something for the good of the others ?

If you answered NO for all of the questions think about it now. There is nothing for free. And do not believe otherwise. We all must pay. Better now than later.

Good and evil - a subjective and abstract words

Good and evil are nothing more than abstract labels or rather abstract thought-shortcuts. We all try to give meaning to something which relates exclusively to the subjective feelings and is not universal (or perpetual).
In one culture, something completely innocent (a good deed) is an insult (an evil deed) in the other one. So how do we explain this two words ? How do we define good and evil ?
First of all we observe their symbolic opposition (one to another) and their need for coexistence. One of them does not exist without the other. One of them is the background for the other one.
But what about the accuracy of description ? There is none. This matter is too subjective...
People ask themselves whether they are good or bad. But there is no answer for that. The same deed may be good or evil depending the context. So everyone can be considered a bad or good, depending on the evaluators. Becouse what is good for us can be bad for the others (and vice versa).

Pancakes

My grandmother was a master of making pancakes. I have never asked her about the recipe, I was very young then. Nevertheless, I managed to recreate this recipe almost 20 year ago.
What is so special in it ? The taste (I know its very subjective thing).

Pancakes are smooth and soft, sweet with crispy edges.
The recipe is very simple, but any modification may spoil the effect.

Here it is:

Note: My cup/glass has a capacity 250ml (1/15 gallon of water)

2 cups of flour
2 eggs
1 cup of milk (3,2% of fat)
1 cup of cold water
6 spoons of sugar
cinnamon
oil for frying

Mix all ingredients thoroughly to obtain a smooth texture. Preheat the frying pan, add a speck of oil (2-3 drops, can not float). Pour cake over the entire surface of the pan (just cover the surface, pancake must be thin). Fry both sides until the golden color on the edges.

You can spread the pancakes with the fried apples or sweet cottage cheese and collapse in roll (or triangles).

I can not imagine a good meal without a good sauce (I prefer spicy, but this is not the rule).

Universal spicy sauce (my original recipe)

1 onion
1 green pepper (small or half a large)
1 red pepper (small or half a large)
2 spicy chili (from a jar or fresh) - individual choice, for some it may be too spicy
0,5 liter of water (about 0,12 gallon)
1 bouillon cube
2-3 teaspoons of flour
Oil for frying
Spices: curry, pepper, salt, marjoram, garlic (granulated or fresh chopped), ginger

+ An additional choice: cauliflower or mini-corn, or bamboo shoots or bean sprouts or asparagus pickle

Option 1:
Cut the vegetables into cubes, add spices and fry until soft in a small pan. Add flour and fry until the flour begins to blush. Pour water and add bouillon cube. Bring to a boil stirring. Cook to a smooth texture

Option 2:
Cut the vegetables into cubes, add spices and fry until soft in a small pan. Pour water and add bouillon cube. Bring to a boil stirring. Mix flour with cold water (in a glass), add a spoonful of sour cream. Pour it into boiling sauce, stirring continuously. Cook to a smooth texture

From the first days of my life (I exaggerate a little), I ask myself the same question. Why do we live ? For what purpose ? Are we here just to: eat, drink, breathe, sleep and perform other simple or difficult tasks ? Or is it something else. Something more... If so, what ?
Some may say, that we are here for some higher purpose. To experience something specific (necessary) for us. To play private scenario (written by the fate, higher force or maybe by ourselves). It doesn't matter whether the scenario is good or bad. What really matter is our role, our emotions during the play, our hopes, our believes, our connections with the world. We are here to taste and to feel the life. And I think, that not only now, but many times (infinitely many).
And I do not mean reincarnation, but something beyond that. Multi-universe, multidimensional, infinite possibilities of life form. Endless cycle of life and death. Endless possibilities. Endless forms of existence and endless variety of life scenarios.

Imagine...

If you look at life from this perspective... Won't you feel better ?

A new version

Due to some important fixes and improvements I decided to release the next version. Always when you find a fatal error I will release a new version earlier.
However, until such notification does not appear and has not been confirmed by me, new editions will be available in the longer intervals (it is difficult to specify, but average: 1-3 months).

Of course, intermediate versions (and beta) will be available at all times for people who support the project through a donation.

Thanks to nice people, Master Commander has received support for two new languages. French and Bulgarian. Feel free to translate into other languages.
Some day it will be one of the best programs. I think it is possible.

Plans for future releases

Each program must develop or it may (and will) disappear.
There are many examples. But don't worry. Master Commander will be still developed.

What are the plans for future releases ?

First of all:
- FTP list (people are asking for it very frequently)
- multi-volume archive
- maybe subversion repository browser (I think that many software developers would appreciated it)
- a new viewer, similar to Dependency Walker (for DLL and EXE files)
- automatic updates (and notification)
- more languages (if there will be more willing to help with translation)
- archive modification (copy to archive, edit files inside, delete from archive)
- multi ping (instead of a single IP a list)

and some more...

Is DNA just a program ?

Think about it... From that perspective... There are so many similarities.
The world is perfect and beautyfull in every detail but also is full of errors (illness, sadness, boredom, loneliness and more) like programs.

Some may say that this "errors" are not real errors, but deliberate intention (some additional subprograms).
May be. The errors (or subprograms) can help to reveal what is working correctly and how much is it worth.

If DNA is just a program I think I know who wrote it.

The black hole and Creation of the Universe

I read recently an interesting article describing the new theory about creation of the Universe (the one we know).
It was written that a black hole initiated the Big Bang in our Universe by throwing the matter from the other Universe (parallel maybe ?). Why not? From a purely theoretical point of view it makes sense.

Is it, however, important ? Maybe we shouldn't ask how, but why (what for) ?

Maybe someone was just bored ?

Creation

I was wondering why I've created my program ? It took me one year to make it.
Was it worth the time I spent ? I use it... I like it... I am proud of it...
For me it was worth this time.

Creation process is a very strange process. It sucks you inside black hole and when you get into the other side of it you are in a brand new world.

When you do something with commitment and when you love what you do, it's not so hard to feel fulfilled.

So, if you feel unhappy - create something... This will allow you to feel fulfilled. And when you feel fulfilled, you'll fill happier.
