This verse is amazing! For me, it's very personal...
As you can see, my fav song called Vermillion.Pt2 by Slipknot (my fav band by the way)
I heard it at the first time 6 years ago. I always have it on my phone or MP3 player since that time.

A theme of the album Volume 3: The Subliminal Verses is Corey Taylor apologizing to his fans. In Slipknot's albums, the key focus is a girl. In Volume 3, he tells his fans that the girl he has been singing about and doing all these horrible things to, wasn't real - he made her up! In this song, he says, "She isn't real!" He never tells you directly that she was a lie, hence "The subliminal verses."

To me, this song has a dual meaning. It is very metaphorical in a sense. On the surface it is about the unrequieted love he has for a girl. It makes clear reference to her drug addiction in Vermillion 1. The girl he loves is not in love with him. Rather, she is in love with the high she attains from drugs. I am guessing by the way they shot the video, she is a speed freak. This song begins where the other one left off. She is lying on the ground in a dreamlike state. I believe when she is lifted up off the ground, that is meant to symbolize her dreaming of getting high. So basically, she lives in a constant dream. When she is awake, she is high and when she is asleep, she dreams of getting high.She is completely blind to the fact that he loves her and would do anything for her. The singer on the other hand only dreams of HER. He seems completely taken by her and yet he regrets it at the same time.This is because he realizes that she will never love him the way he loves her. She is too hung up on getting high. So basically, he tries to deny his feelings for her in an attempt not to feel the pain of rejection. Such a powerful song...Very depressing indeed.

Pain is a vital part of our body's defences, and without it we could not survive.

Pain warns us what things are dangerous, and so helps us avoid damage to our body.
If the body is already damaged, pain helps with healing because it makes us protect our injuries. Some babies are born with a rare condition that males them unable to feel pain. Thay do not learn the lessons that pain teaches , and as a result suffer many fractures and infections.

Pain happens when nerve endings in our skin and our internal organs send messages through the central nervous system to our brain.The brain itself cannot feel pain. There are two types of pain - acute pain, which lasts a short time and is removed when the cause is cured, and chronic pain ,which can last a lifetime and cannot usually be treated.Chronic pain must be managed using drugs or other methods.

Drugs relieve pain in two ways. Some block the nerves messages and prevent them getting to the brain.. Others change the way the brain receives the messages, reducing their effect. Many methods of controlling chronic pain without drugs have been developed. These include hepnosis, acupuncture, massege and electronic stimulation of nerves.

Pain sometimes works in strange ways. It is possible , for example, to suffer a serious injury but not feel any pain-soldiers in battle may not feel pain from wounds until after the battle. The opposite can happen too - patients who lose a limb can continue to fell pain in the limb long afterwards, even though it is missing. This 'phantom limb' pain is an example of neuropathic pain, caused by damage to the remaining nerves.

Rainbows are caused by the reflection and refraction of sunlight in millions of raindrops.
The Sun must be behind the observer and fairly low for a rainbow to occur. This is why they're seldom seen in the middle of the day. Sometimes, if the light has been reflected twice inside each raindrop, a second fainter rainbow can be seen about 9 degrees outside the first. The colors on the outside one are reversed in order, red being in the inside. A third rainbow is occasionally seen and fourth rainbow is almost on top of the first so it is often not recognized.

A rainbow is actually a spectacular natural optical phenomenon. Individual raindrops act like tiny prisms, splitting the white light from the Sun (or other white light source) into a continuum of different hues, from deep violet to deep red. From any given point BETWEEN the Sun and the rain droplets, a single droplet would appear to refract a tiny speck of light in one particular hue, depending on its position. However, billions of raindrops combine their refractions to form the whole image, a circular arc containing a complete range of colors.

The colors of the primary rainbow are always the same - starting from the outside: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet.

The reason that it is IMPOSSIBLE to "approach" one end of the rainbow is that the rainbow phenomenon simply recedes as the viewer travels toward it.
If you use a garden hose to spray fine droplets you can see the entire circle of "rainbow" just a few feet away. A it is a circle there is no "end" to the rainbow.

When the sun is out (and preferably low near the horizon) and it is raining a rainbow occurs as the rays of the sun refract in and reflect from raindrops. Look away from the Sun when it is raining in that direction - away from the Sun - and you can often see 1, 2 or rarely even more rainbows centered around the "anti-solar point" (the shadow of your head).
Rainbows are formed by sunlight being refracted and reflected in a rain drop.
