Honestly, going to Max's Restaurant is our first time together with Adam. SM City Cebu is our favorite place to hang out but we never had the chance to eat there. But we were given the opportunity to be invited for a food event at Max's Restaurant. Another confession, I'm allergic to chicken.

My first time to try Adobong Baka sa Gata and I was really enjoying eating this because it is "Pampagana."

Last Monday, I was chosen to be as the representative of Istoryahi.com to cover the event at C2 Classic Cuisine located at the 4th Floor of Summit Circle Hotel in Fuente Osmena, Cebu City. Of course, I grabbed the opportunity to experience what C2 Classic Cuisine feels like to dine there.

C2 is a casual-sit down dining venue for Filipinos and foreigners who want a true taste of Filipino culture. The foods they offer are Filipino favorites with a twist. My boyfriend gave me a treat for we had a misunderstanding. I forgot when it happened but this was his peace offering to me. Well, yeah, these chocolates help me to keep me sane while working in front of the computer. Sometimes it's really boring because I have no one to talk to so I will just busy myself eating chocolates.

I am fond of eating fried rice or garlic rice or anything delicious that is mixed with rice. This is one of my favorite heavy snacks when I am really hungry. Sometimes, I don't want to eat for dinner because I am very full.

You can see a lot of Leylam Shawarma food stalls in different malls. The Leylam Shawarma Rice is worth P60.00 and if you want with eggs then you just need to add P5.00. Leylam Shawarma Rice is a mixed of beef, carrots, corn, cabbage, toyo, and hmmm I forgot the complete ingredients but definitely very delicious!

Woah! This is such a very late post and this food trip of ours happened last June 8, 2012 during our massage at Subtle Zen Spa Center. I also had my lunch at KFC before my mom and I met. It was my treat for mama then we tried Zubu Chon. Actually, I've been telling her about this lechon restaurant and it was perfect timing that they have their branch at Mango Avenue.

Big Mac and McFlurry for Snacks

I only tried this Big Mac and I could say I am not satisfied with it. May be I am not really a fan of McDonald's burger in the first place. The McFlurry is a 10 as always.

Well, this is really a good pair though. I know that there are lots of McDonald's burger fans here. So do you like this pair as your snack treat?

Takoyaki - My Favorite Snack

When I am looking for something to eat for a small portion, I opt for Takoyaki. I remember Takoyaki as an anime series from a heart-shaped television network (any guess? haha!).

From Wikipedia it says:

Takoyaki (たこ焼き or 蛸焼?, literally fried or grilled octopus) is a ball-shaped Japanese snack made of a wheat flour-based batter and cooked in a special takoyaki pan. It is typically filled with minced or diced octopus, tempura scraps (tenkasu), pickled ginger, and green onion.[1][2] Takoyaki are brushed with takoyaki sauce, a sauce similar to Worcestershire sauce, and mayonnaise. The takoyaki is then sprinkled with green laver (aonori) and shavings of dried bonito (katsuobushi).

Adam and I love Sisig so much so we hopped in to this new food stall we found at the Foodcourt of SM City Cebu. We tried it and we love it.

We ordered Pork Sarap Sisig with Java Rice and Egg that costs P60. You can order it with no egg for P50 and Big Time for P75.

Actually, Adam and I came back the second time around last Wednesday because we love their Sisig so much and very affordable too. That time, we ordered Big Time. I hope that it will stay forever there and many people will patronize this food stall.

So the foods on my plate looked so little but that was a trick. Of course, in a buffet lunch you don't have to put all the foods in your plate. Buffet lunch is an opportunity for you to come back for more . By the way, I forgot how many rounds I went back to the buffet table. LOL!

Every time I go to SSS (Social Security System) to pay my monthly contributions, I always find myself here at KFC during lunch.

My lunch last Friday were Chicken shots and Krushers. I only paid P90 for this without the drink. Chicken shots cost P50 with a regular drink (Sprite/Coke) but I upgraded it with Krushers and just add P40. I believe that an individual classic Krushers cost P50.

After Mang Inasal, I was envious looking at the cake what Adam bought for me during my birthday. I told mom to get inside Red Ribbon and only stare at it. LOL anyway, since we were inside it was a good thing to buy some stuff to munch on.

I fell in love with butter mamon because it's so tasty on my tongue. I regretted that I only bought one. Well, I can buy more next time.

Golden Cowrie - a Sumptuous Snack to Dinner

This is one of the most enjoyable snack to dinner I have experienced because I ate for free. Yes, you read it right this was for free. I enjoy eating with extra rice. Mother's Day Treat at AA BBQ with Mama and Sis

Last Tuesday, I woke up very hungry and asked mom what to eat for lunch. She answered that she needed to buy some viand. I told her that I we should eat out for an advance Mother's Day treat at AA BBQ with my sister since it was her day off.

At first, we just ordered grilled pork belly and pochero then I saw the receipt that it costed to P400. I really don't know the individual pricing. I think we ordered 5-8 rice. I don't know the price of each cup of rice.

We had a great lunch here. All in all, I spent an estimate of PhP 700.00. Actually, it was not our first time eating here and I have eaten to several branches of AA BBQ. It is nice to eat here with your family, friends, or team mates. Also they have sea foods here. My mom would like to order calamares but I was afraid that I'll be tempted to eat it because of my allergy. So sad, I am avoiding sea foods.

Before the day my boyfriend and I met, mom and I decided to roam around Gaisano Grand in Minglanilla just to chill. Well, it was really hot then we were so hungry and saw this Puto and Dinuguan ad. It was snack time.

Arroz Caldo - well, I love this one and my stomach appreciates it. I was really hungry that I was even afraid of my hyper-acidity would attack again.

McDonald's Everyday McSavers for P25 with Adam

Adam and I met yesterday before he went to work (night shift). He said he missed me so much and he badly needed to see me (waaah cheesy!). We went to the mall and roam around then he bought me a stainless-steel dog tag with engraved Chinese calligraphy of a phrase and our names on it. So while waiting for it to be done, I was so hungry so McDonald's to the rescue.

Craving for Temptations Luscious Mango Ice Cream

Being an online worker, I always have my cravings. I get bored while working in front of the computer so I need something to eat. Something sweet and cool. That was the time my taste buds were craving for mango ice cream. This is my favorite ice cream. I left my mini-office sometime at 9PM and went to possible stores where I could buy this ice cream. So I reached Mercury Drug Store and this is the only one left in their freezer.

I paid without caring the price as long as I'm craving for it. Yeah, that's how impulsive I am when it comes to food.

Gelatissimo - a Day Out with Friends from Pagadian City

It was March 20, 2012 that Yvette and I met in person. She is from Pagadian City together with her cousins: Key, Joy and Yvann. This is my second time eating Gelatissimo and you can find my first time here. For this second time around, I have eaten four flavors in one setting. I remember there was dark chocolate, coffee, yogurt and oops, I forgot the last one, might be vanilla?

The small cup is worth P100 but we bought with two flavors in a cup worth P150.

This is really great to eat this in a group for you to share.

Can you suggest other flavors of Gelatissimo for me to try? :D

Eating Cornetto White Chocolate at Night

Jonie's Flavored Chicken - Dinner with Adam

Last Tuesday, Adam and I met at SM City Cebu because I bought a new toy - an electronic keyboard. We had our dinner at Jonie's Flavored Chicken because we can't resist Pork Sisig. As usual, our favorite. Well, the pictures were taken on the 25th of March but we ordered the same meal last Tuesday. Isn't it SULIT that for P59 or P69 you got two rice? Funny we never ordered chicken.

Krispy Kreme - a Midnight Snack with Tata

This was the second time eating Krispy Kreme doughnuts. My first time was posted on my personal blog. We had our midnight snack after the concert of Hanson Shout It Tour. Since it was just a midnight snack, we only bought a piece of original glazed doughnut for each of us. Krispy Kreme doughnuts are really sweet so one piece doughnut is really enough.

For the original glazed doughnut, it only cost PhP32.00. We just have water with us because we were afraid of getting tonsillitis. Just imagine, our voices were overused because we were shouting during the concert.

Orange Brutus - a Dinner with Jan

Last Wednesday on April 4, 2012, Jan suddenly visited me. She said she was bored and she had an appointment in San Fernando so she decided to drop by here in my place. We went to Metro Market Naga and she bought ingredients for Boracay or Choco Bam. Sorry I am not really familiar with liquor drinks. We passed by on a rack of spaghetti sauce so both of us were craving for spaghetti. Orange Brutus is the only fast food or quick service restaurant here in Naga.

Pino! Inasal and Filipino Cuisine - a Dinner with Adam

Yesterday, Adam and I decided to meet since he has no work until Easter Sunday. We were at his house just playing Tekken 6 either from the PSP or Play Station 2. I was really hungry and we decided to eat out.

When we arrived at Gaisano Fiesta Mall, we were wondering which restaurant to eat. We tried Pino! Inasal and Filipino Cuisine and it was our first time there. When we entered the premises, only few people were there. It is not really mass appealing but more on fine dining. We decided to take some pictures before our orders arrived.

Since Adam got unlimited rice, I ordered two cups of rice for my Sisig. Well, I noticed that waiters were keep on staring at us (or may be at me?). I really don't know why. Was it because of my two cups of rice? My boyfriend and I are not BIG but we love to eat a lot but we really didn't care at all because we paid for it and we were enjoying last night.

On the other table, we saw three ladies also ordered Chicken Inasal with unlimited rice but none of them asked from the waiter for another cup of rice. Of course, those ladies were all sexy wearing short-shorts. I think they were just conscious with their body.

Anyway, our eating experience was really great and we would love to try other dishes there.
