Over the weekend was the first race of the Formula 1 2014 Championships at Albert Park. Here are some highlights of what happened.

Kamui Kobayashi trudges away after his first-corner error. Resulting from a crash into the back of Felipe Massa. It was later determined that brake failure was the cause, clearing him of penalty.

However with all that excitement, there was something that left people with somewhat mixed reactions to it. Some say, that it was their telly that was not doing the sport justice, while other say that the cars had been modified with pixie dust, all we know is, it's the new V6 Hybrid engine!

The new V6 Hybrids have just been implemented for use season. But in the first race of the season at Albert Park this weekend, they seem to be talking a whole lot of flak, more than praise, because of the sound the engine emits. Some have said it sounds like a lawn mower while others

Formula One’s 83-year-old chief executive, Bernie Ecclestone, who was always implacably opposed to the switch from V8 engines to greener V6 turbos for this season, claimed that a modification could be made after just a few races if it was technically possible. “We can’t wait all season,” Ecclestone said. “It could be too late by then.”

Ecclestone said: "I was not horrified by the noise, I was horrified by the lack of it. And I was sorry to be proved right with what I've said all along; these cars don't sound like racing cars.

Ron Walker, the chairman of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation and an old ally of Ecclestone’s, complained on Monday that the lack of noise in the season-opening Grand Prix on Sunday could affect future ticket sales.

Apparently it's not just the fans who aren't happy. Even the F1 drivers were unhappy. After an Australian air force fighter jet flew over the track Friday, Marussia driver Max Chilton said, "Finally some noise returns to the F1 paddock."

Samsung Galaxy Note 3: Hands on review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3, the latest model in the Galaxy Note line of phones, is more of an evolutionary upgrade than a revolutionary one. The physical changes aren't noticeable at first, but some make a real difference. At the same time, there are a few new features that will probably appeal to power users – the Note's key audience.

Held in hand, the Note 3 feels very much like the Note II. That's because Samsung laboured to keep the width of the phone the same even while bumping up the screen size to 5.7 inches. Samsung clearly doesn't want to get into the territory marked by the 6.3-inch Samsung Galaxy Mega – nor should it. The Note 3 feels big, but not ridiculously so (though those with smaller hands may have a different experience).

The Note I held was in a leather windowed case, which had an excellent grip to it. The cover interacts with the screen so that the display changes to a simple time notifier that you can see through the window when the case is closed – very slick. The cover was difficult to keep closed, however, almost always remaining slightly open when the phone was lying on its back, which was annoying. Better use of magnets is in order here.

I was excited to try out Air Command, the new menu that's specific to the S Pen. If you hover the stylus over the screen and then press the button, the semi-circle menu appears with options. Each one is illuminated as you hover, and tapping will activate the command. Action Memo, which lets you use the stylus to perform actions such as making a call, and S Finder, which can search the phone for handwritten content, strike me as the most useful.

Pen Window is even better than Air Command. Just by drawing a window on the screen, you can create a new application window for, say, browsing or calling up the calculator. When you're done, closing the window simply takes a tap with the stylus, and it doesn't interrupt the apps already running on-screen.

With the Note 3, the Galaxy Note phones finally get a model with a 1920 x 1080 pixel HD screen, and it's excellent. Held next to the original Note and Note II, the Note 3's AMOLED looked sharper while browsing highly visual sites. It's nice that the screen is 5.7 inches, but truthfully I detected virtually no difference in experience from the Note II, at least from a few minutes of use.

Samsung includes an intriguing new feature called Multi Vision in the Note 3, which lets multiple phones' screens combine to form an even larger screen, but I wasn't able to test it. We're excited to check it out in the future, along with My Magazine, a personalised news "experience" that Samsung developed with Flipboard, and the Note's enhanced security features.

With the Note 3, Samsung is going even further into the idea of personalised design. It doesn't go as far as the Moto X, offering only three colours for the phone itself (black, white and pink), but there are several different colours for the case and cover you can choose from, including metallic hues.

While the Galaxy Note 3 can perform some interesting new tricks, the thing that will matter to all users is the beautiful, full-HD screen. Even if you never slip the stylus out of its slot, you'll appreciate the sharper display. For power users, features such as Air Command could save a few valuable seconds while performing key tasks, and Multi Vision is an eyebrow-raising – if gimmicky – feature.

Samsung, which pretty much invented the big-screen phone with the Note line, has polished its flagship in the category nicely with the Galaxy Note 3, although there are still remnants of the company's throw-everything-against-the-wall approach (there must be six different ways to capture onscreen content via the stylus). The evolved, refined Note is an unusual contrast toits "smart companion", the Galaxy Gear – a version 1.0 device if there ever was one.

RON97 petrol price up 15sen

As if it was not enough with the announcement of the increase by 20sen of RON95 and Diesel a day or two ago, tonight prices of RON95 will be increased quietly nationwide to RM2.85, up by 15sen. To add insult to injury, the goverment is considering reintroducing RON92 as a "cheaper" alternative.

"Use of gasoline with lower octane numbers may lead to the problem of engine knocking."

This is that irritating rattling you find in your car engine at times. Already with RON95, most Malaysian cars, namely the Proton Saga BLM have this problem. Imagine how much engine knocking would be caused by RON92 with newer cars?

Analysts expect that consumers will soon have to pay more for daily items following the subsidy cuts, though they do not think Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) will raise interest rates to keep inflation down.

I think in light of all these cuts here and there, I think our ministers and politicians also should reduce their police outriders by at least one. Fuel price high you know!

Najib stressed the need for a healthy current account balance, especially after global ratings agency Fitch Ratings revised Malaysia’s sovereign debt outlook from “Stable” to “Negative” last month. Fitch commented, however, that Putrajaya’s measures to lower subsidies are not enough to alter its negative outlook on Malaysia’s A- sovereign rating.

Well, what can be done now. Like what my friend said Najib would probably be saying "Bersyukurlah dulu, wahai rakyat Malaysia. RM 0.20 only ma. Lu pun belum tengok budget 2014 saya lagi."

Microsoft buys over Nokia Smartphones

After working closely together over the past 3years since Feb 2011, Microsoft announced late Sunday of it's decision to buy Nokia's smartphone and cellular business in a $7.2billion deal.

Microsoft is paying $5 billion to buy Nokia's Devices & Services unit and an additional $2.2 billion to license Nokia's patents for $2.2 billion.

CEO Steve Balmer made the bold move with only 12 months left to a retirement he just recently announced. The move to buy Nokia's cellular branch is proof of Microsoft's commitment to not just be a software company. Windows based phones by Nokia have been gaining popularity in most countries, even Europe. However in the US it still faces trouble. Sources say Windows Phone platforms have already surpassed Blackberry as the third largest phone platform in the world.

F1 2013 So far

Not too long ago, was the August break of the 2013 F1 Championships, giving everyone a chance to rest and relax instead of jumping from one race/country to another every weekend. Seeing as this week there's no races going on, let's have a short recap of the season so far.

Australian Grand Prix - Albert Park, Melbourne

The end of qualifying took place on a Sunday, but only 21 cars lined up on the grid after Nico Hulkenberg's Sauber developed an untimely fuel leak. Mark Webber's start was hit by ECU problems that Christian Horner blamed on suppliers McLaren, and the victor proclaimed the Grand Prix to have been "one of my easiest wins."

Malaysian Grand Prix - Sepang International Circuit

A heavy pre-race shower enlivened things considerably and contributed to an early accident for Fernando Alonso. Both Force India cars were retired because of a problem with their 'captive wheel nut' system, and the final podium was overshadowed by rows over team orders that saw some very unhappy and uncomfortable team mates participating in a muted post-race podium interview.

Chinese Grand Prix-Shanghai International Circuit.

Mark Webber was forced to start from the back after running out of fuel in qualifying, and later lost his wheel in the race forcing him to retire. Esteban Gutierrez made an impact in the race by driving into the back of Adrian Sutil, and Sebastian Vettel narrowly failed to make it onto the podium after losing out on third place to Lewis Hamilton.

Bahrain Grand Prix - Bahrain International Circuit, Sakhir

Both Lotus drivers made it onto the podium just ahead of Paul di Resta who matched his career best with fourth place. Fernando Alonso dropped to eighth by the finish because problems with his DRS system left his rear wing flap stuck wide open, while polesitter Nico Rosberg plummeted to ninth with tyre issues.

Spanish Grand Prix - Circuit de Catalunya, Spain

Marussia test driver Maria De Villota returned to the paddock for the first time since her 2012 accident, and watched as the victor took a home win. There was an anxious wait for the winner afterwards to see if he would be penalised for accepting a flag from a marshall to celebrate with on his cooling down lap.

Monaco Grand Prix - Streets of Monaco

It was the weekend that reports of a 'secret' tyre test for Mercedes and Pirelli first surfaced and Felipe Massa managed to crash twice in two days at the same spot. Sergio Perez proved that he could be aggressive - perhaps too much so for one race.

Canadian Grand Prix - Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Montreal

Paul di Resta made light of tyre wear issues with a 56-lap run on his first set of medium Pirelli compounds, and a 64-race record for McLaren of always finishing with at least one car in the points came to an ignominious end. But at least Sebastian Vettel got one long-standing monkey off his back.

British Grand Prix - Silverstone Circuit

Going into the weekend, confirmation of Mark Webber's F1 exit caught everyone - even Christian Horner - by surprise. It was a race of many tyres not behaving themselves, a rare technical failure for Sebastian Vettel's Red Bull, and a scare for the winner when he was cited for not respecting yellow flags and risked a post-race penalty that could have cost him his victory.

German Grand Prix - Nurburgring

Jules Bianchi recovered from Friday illness only to end up seeing his Marussia go up in flames and then watch as the abandoned car rolled backwards across the race track. But the biggest heart-stopper of all was the loose wheel in pit lane that struck an unsuspecting FOM cameraman going about his business.

Hungarian Grand Prix - Hungaroring

No problems with cool or wet conditions here, quite the reverse - and no problems with tyres either after Pirelli rolled out their solution to earlier high-profile blowouts. Mark Webber was frustrated with gremlins and Romain Grosjean was in the stewards' bad books again, while Lewis Hamilton notched up his third consecutive pole of the season.

Belgian GrandPrix-Spa-Francorchamps

Ninth place went to Adrian Sutil after he survived contact with Pastor Maldonado at the chicane. The Williams driver then skidded into the other Force India of Paul di Resta, taking him out of the race and earning Maldonado a stop-go penalty. Leading Alonso to his fifth win of the season by a comfortable 17s ahead of Alonso.

Parliament Dissolved. What's next?

Yesterday 3/4/2013(or 2012 depends on how you heard it) the Prime Minister Najib Razak dissolved Parliament after seeking consent from the King. Elections are scheduled sometime later this month. Which only begs the question, as it was with the dissolution of parliament, when?

So now,

For those who are registered voters, check your status and your voting center. Make sure you know where to go an what to do at the polling stations. You can check at http://daftarj.spr.gov.my/.

If you are 21 and above, have turned 21 at least 6 months ago, but still haven't registered or refuse to vote in the coming elections, SHAME ON YOU! You may think it's no use to vote or you're not interested in politics, but what you fail to realise is, politics influences everything! Your studies, your cost of living, your car loans, your pay, all those things are affected by politics and who you vote for!

So why should you vote?

1.Voting is a way to speak your mind and let your voice be heard!
Your vote is your voice. When we vote, we are actually telling elected officials and
politicians how we feel about education, public safety, health care, and other
important issues.

2.The Power of One!
Remember: there is power in numbers, and when we vote and get our family members to
vote, we can truly make a difference. If you don’t vote for what you believe in, others will –
and you may not like the outcome.

3.The children are depending on us to represent their voices too!
Because children can’t vote, we have to do it for them. That’s how we make our
concerns about schools, safety, housing, and other issues heard. When we vote, we are
looking out for the kids, and their futures.

4.Voting changes things!
Do you ever wonder why one state gets passed over for things it needs, while
another seems to get it all? One big reason is voting. When we vote, we can get results that
we can actually see and feel a part of!

5.Vote to UBAH!
It was through elections that we voted in officials who were champions for our rights. Likewise, through voting we can give the boot to all those not living up to our expectations too!
Voting is our chance to make a difference in our own lives and within the world.

6. Being a voter gives you credibility!
Often, we voice our concerns to elected MP's or State Assemblyman, but if we aren’t voting, our concerns may not matter at all to them. Voting can actually give you the credibility to make your
concerns a top priority for them!

If you don’t exercise the right to vote, you’ll be a hypocrite when you complain about politics, social welfare, education, or anything of that kind.

Freely adapted from Disney's The Lion King. This play is directed by Miss Corrine Mah who brought you "Mulan" in 2005, "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" in 2006 and "Hercules" in 2007. The cast are comprised of 41 students, supported by a cast of 55 students. This allows the students to contribute to the school and develop their talents and allow them to work as a team, promoting healthy interaction.

THE IDEA

The story revolves around the special bond between a father and a son, somewhat similar to the spirit of Paterfamilias of St.Michael's. Everything is connected to the importance in respecting and honoring one another. Mufasa tells Simba that all creatures depend on each other. Likewise at St.Michael's everyone is important to us, no matter who, and each one is connected to the other.

Also highlighted is the importance of community. St.Michael's believes that for teaching and learning to be effective, it has to be a communal experience. It's a commitment in providing an education that begins with a respect for each individual student. In doing so, it transforms an impersonal educational institution into a place "where persons meet persons, where mind speaks to mind and hear speaks to heart, where the learning experience is shared with persons who can call each other family."

Service to the poor and disadvantaged. St.Michael's provides programs that raise student awareness to realities happening around them, such as issues of justice and social perceptions, in particular those that relate to the marginalize. To always look out for the brothers and sisters who are "The Last, The Lost and The Least.

A NIGHT OF DOUBLE JOY!

The Michaelian Talentime will also be held during the second half of the evening. This will comprise the various Michaelian talents presented to the audience on all 3 nights. The audience will have their chance to vote for their very own Michaelian Idol! The audience will use their tickets to vast their votes.

PURPOSE OF THE DRAMA & TALENTIME 2013

The purpose of this year is to raise funds to aid the school in general maintenance and upkeep. There is no special project like a new 7 star toilet this year, but donations are still most welcome and required for other miscellaneous maintenance and upkeep. The drama and taletime also is aimed to develop stage talents of the students and also their teamwork.

Old Michaelians' Association Centennial Dinner

Few days ago, Saturday, the 29th of September marked a very important date in many Michaelian's lives. It was a day for them to come back to their glorious alma mater to celebrate as one the 100 years of Green and White! There was a mammoth crowd of 3000 former students who made it for the event.

The events kicked off at 9am with an exhibition in the scout den and school hall by the various uniformed units. At 10.30am mass was celebrated at the newly refurbished school chapel by the Rt.Rev. Sebastian Francis, bishop of Penang together with Mnsgr.Rev.Michael Cheah, an old boy, and 8 other priests. Also present was Br.Visitor for the Lasallian East Asia District, Br.Edmundo Fernandes Fsc, his assistant Br.Thomas Lavin Fsc and a few other brothers who made the trip just for SMI's centennial.

Stop Section 114A

It seems, I post very rarely now, only in times of strife and distress. Well, I guess now is that time.

How many of you know of the amendment of the Information Act 1950? It's known as the Section 114A.

This amendment puts the "burden of proof" on the accused and not the accuser, in this case the government or anyone else who thinks what you posted online is offensive to them in any way.

For example, if you post something like, "*£"&! My PTPN money hasn't been cleared for this month! Useless PTPTN!". If someone reports this, though it was not posted by you, PTPTN will be able to haul you to court and make you prove that it wasn't you, and you MUST have evidence to support whatever you say, they are not required to present anything.

This very law contradicts the current "innocent until proven guilty" that safeguards the people's interest. This new law will have the potential to affect everyone and anyone and can even be misused.

If you have a blog, or any social networking site, you will be held responsible for EVERY SINGLE PIECE of information or content. INCLUDING comments, remarks, or links not posted by you but by your fans, friends, or readers on your space.

Free Wi-Fi providers can be held responsible for anything posted while using their Wi-Fi. The consequences will be widespread and no one will be spared.

The reason why the act was amended was for the government to scare the Rakyat from posting their views and thoughts online in a free and open way, they are trying to stifle any form of awareness online.
Section 114A is a clear violation of our human rights and a developing nation based on knowledge and information!

Free iPad Scam

Recently I noticed a sudden spike on Facebook, in the number of posts such as this;

THIS IS LINK ABOVE A SCAM! I REPEAT, IT IS A SCAM AND WILL RIP YOU OFF!

Here's the list of known sites with this bogus offer;

Now you ask, "Why is it a scam?Who knows the guys at Apple are giving it out?".

Right, seriously?Apple giving away free products??

Here's why it is a scam;

Once you click the link, it brings you to this page;

Why it's bogus;

1. You have to share it (which in turn gets more people to unknowingly share it), this is how it spreads.

2. You have to comment and it's posted to your Facebook profile.

*this part of the scam is to make sure that it is passed on from user to user.

Now after doing the above, it takes you to the so called "Registration" page...

"Pay close attention to the camera on this supposed iPad2, notice that it's on the centre?And it's also a picture of the first iPad,not iPad2!"

This is the usual screen you see on scam pages where they ask for personal information. This information is usually used to send spam mail and offers to you or your mobile phone is subscribed to some text campaign that you're made to pay per sms received.. These scammers usually take you on the "scenic route" for these registrations as you are brought through multiple pages of registrations and submission of info. These personal information is stored by scammers and they can harrass you not only by Facebook,but also through e-mal,snail mail or even texts or telephone calls.

So, what to do if you've fallen for this scam?

1.Remove the post from your profile/timeline in Facebook
2. Try to trace if it was posted or sent to any friends.
3. Reset your password just for safety purposes as you may never know if the scam was also a clickjacking that might make more posts later on.
4. Check with Apple for their official promotions, if this is not listed,this is a scam
5. Check the Facebook Security page on how to detect a scam
6. Warn your friends about this scam, share this article if you're too lazy to go through the gory details!..

Facebook Timeline

So, Facebook recently released their new "Timeline" feature to developers to try out, it looks something like this.

So now, you the average Joe or Jane are wondering, "how do I get it if I'm not a developer?"..Simple, become a developer! How? Well follow this tutorial very closely then.
THIS PROCESS CANNOT BE UNDONE!

First and foremost, go to to https://facebook.com/timeline and click on "Sign Me Up"

Next, go to https://developers.facebook.com and click on the "Apps" tab.

Alternatively,you could search in the Facebook search box for "Developers" and it will take you straight to the "Apps" tab.Either way is fine.

You should get a page that looks like this.

Click the Create New App button.

A screen will pop out, and fill in the fields with whatever you want.For the app namespace, no dashes,spaces or capital letters.(Not all namespaces can be used, as some may already be taken,so choose a unique or total bullshit one that no one would have taken.)

Once you're done with that, it will bring you to a screen as below. Fill in the form,only those fields, and then click "Save Changes".

After submitting the form,a security check will appear.

Then after that, navigate to the "Open Graph" tab on your left.
Fill in the form as such and click "Get Started".

About 10 years ago, on the morning of the 12th of Sept 2011(Since America is technically a day behind), I was woken up by my mom in the morning with,"Wake up, wake up! Come see the morning news! The terrorists have bombed the twin towers!!".My First reaction was that that someone had bombed our Petronas twin towers, since I had literally no knowledge of the world at that time(I was only 10!), and to me,the only twin towers was the one in Kuala Lumpur!

But turns out, it had been the World Trade Center Twin Towers in New York that had been hit by two jet liners within quick succession.With American Airlines Flight 11 crashing into the North Tower and seventeen minutes later, United Airlines Flight 175 hitting the South Tower. In about 1½hours,both towers had collapsed due to heavy structural damage by the crash and also weakened by the fires.Out of the thousands who were trapped, only 20 were pulled out alive to tell the tale.

This year, being the 10th anniversary of the attacks, construction of a memorial at ground zero has been completed. Ground Zero as it is had been termed all this while has been renamed to the 9/11 Memorial by New York Mayor, Michael Bloomberg. The Memorial site will be launched on Sept 11, EST.For the first time, the names of all 2,982 victims of the tragedy will be read, including those from the Pentagon and on Flight 93 that crashed in Pennsylvania, as well as the six victims of the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center.

So let us not forget this dark day in history, may we be American or not. Because, this, can happen to any country anywhere we allow it to happen.

Tips on how not to get wasted

Now, most of us drink,whether to the point of being totally drunk and wasted or just being tipsy, it depends.

However, many of us are always wondering, how to drink more, without getting wasted.(No you can't avoid getting at least a bit tipsy.)

Well here are some tricks and total bullshit,that might work at keeping you from getting wasted at the end of the night, or not. *I'm not responsible for anything that happens and I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT ADVISE YOU TO OPERATE ANY MACHINERY OR AUTOMOBILE AFTER DRINKING.

#10 Mix your drinks with a non alcoholic mixer.
Mix your "Hard liqour" with stuff like coke, tonic, soda water or even ice to dilute it,thus you seem like consuming more, but in actual fact it's just more diluted stuff.But well, if you're not one for taste or don't give a crap about the authenticity of the drink or are just drinking to impress someone,then go ahead.

#9 Fill a non-Alcoholic drink into an Alcoholic drink bottle(this is to trick people that you can drink a lot)
As lame as this seems, sometimes, especially at weddings,when you have to drink at each toast someone makes,this might seem a viable option. You can substitute the contents of that bottle of Jack for some Chinese tea(make sure you filter it properly of tealeaves and only you drink it, or people will call your bluff) or any similar coloured liquid.

Ok, while #10 and #9 were how to not get drunk by fooling people with faking the alcohol consumption or diluting it,
#8 does not require tampering with the alcohol.

#8 Eat greasy or oily food
As silly or fattening as this may sound, eating greasy food actually lines your stomach with a protective layer of oil,this inhibiting or slowing alcohol absorption into the bloodstream.Hence this will increase your drinking capacity.

#7 Drink neutral fluids
Try to consume fluids like water, juice and such that aren't alcoholic, to maintain a balance in your bloodstream. However it may require you to make frequent trips to the washroom and also make you feel bloated.

#6 Moderation
Take drinks in smaller quantities at a time.Instead of chugging a whole bottle of beer in one go, try a glass at a time.Or maybe resort to shots instead of glasses of whiskey or vodka. Don't try to be a hero and finish off more than you can, you only end up looking like an idiot.

#5 Bread/Grains

Some people claim that by eating bread or any other products of grains, you will sober up as the bread will "soak" up the alcohol.However,there is one great flaw to this theory, alcohol is absorbed to your bloodstream. So even if the bread soaks up the alcohol,it's still gonna come all back out when your stomach breaks down the bread..So for this one, I feel you guys should just give it a pass..

#4 Follow the rule, dilution, hydration, urination.

With dilution being in #10, hydration in #7 and urination,well you all know what that is..So yea,just follow this cycle, and it should keep you sober longer and reduce the effects if your hangover. =)

#3 Get your groove on!

Since alcohol is absorbed through the bloodstream,this might actually work.Dancing or doing any other moving activity can make your body sweat and does reducing the effects of the alcohol.If you don't believe me,try it yourself, it might just work.

#2 Don't mix different alcohols.

This only applies to certain people.Cause some people are intolerant to mixing of alcohol.They can drink like a fish,but provided it's the same alcohol the whole time.Yours truly is an example of it.So if you can,avoid mixing alcohols,cause this can cause different reactions in different people and also different reactions with different mixtures of alcohol.It's somewhat like Chemistry..haha

#1 Know your own drinking threshold.

Always know how much you can actually drink.You should already determine this after 1-2 drinking sessions. Because nothing is worst than crossing that threshold and getting wasted, and photos of you appearing the next morning on facebook..

Now this is not by any means a factual write-up, this is just a random post that suddenly popped up into my mind. Some of the numbers,what they say are just pure myths.So do take this post with a pinch of salt. Today I decided to create an animated GIF, using Adobe Fireworks. However, though this image below plays well on Fireworks itself, it doesn't seem to play here, unless you click on the image to open in a new window. Anyone got any suggestions?Since this my first time using Fireworks to create an animated GIF.

So if you're one of the many frustrated Malaysians who has been affected by the recent ban on the 10 sites listed by the MCMC, then this tutorial is for you.

Let's be honest, for most Malaysians, sites like Megaupload or Fileserve, besides illegally downloading software or movies, can be great ways of storing your files online and letting others download files that they want from you.Be it an assignment, a plain document or something that can't fit into the 25MB limit on emails.

So now, on to the tutorial.

Step #1: Open Network and Sharing Center

Step#2, Click on "change adapter settings"

Step#3 Right Click and select "properties".

Step#4 Select the "Networking" Tab, then "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" and click "properties".

Step#5 Select the "General" Tab and fill in the spaces exactly as below, click save and voila! All those 10 sites? They work!!!

*Preffered DNS server: 8.8.8.8
*Alternate DNS server:8.8.4.4
This is achieved using Google's Public DNS server.

For those who find this all to tedious, don't worry, the good folks at thepiratebay.org have heard your pleas and have created malaysiabay.org (No hacking or editing settings required) specially for those affected by this crackdown!!

This tutorial today is for Windows 7 only.I'm to lazy to update on other OS..sorry..But, hope this helps solve your woes over this issue...Till next time..

So, Osama's dead?After 10 long years.Just because you kill the cause doesn't mean you cure the symptoms or the one's infected after it..You wanna end it? you have to cure the whole epidemic.For now,when you wake up tomorrow they'll be even more relentless in their search for "INFIDELS".So to the world and America, do not waver,do not let down your guard, cause that will be the moment these extremist are waiting for!

To kill a man like Osama, is no big deal to this extremists.Because you see, you kill him today,there'll be another one to replace him tomorrow! For years their distorted views on Mujahideen or Jihadist ideology has been spread, how many have been influenced? As someone said to me, "10 freaking years. Enough to raise an army of Osamas."

Then now, is it really Osama that the Navy Seals shot? That's the question many of us pose. Images released by Pakistani press below and also used on CNN are actually fakes as they've been photoshoped(See explanation below). So that leaves one question and only one question, is he really dead??Yes, he is, only the photo was faked.But the ID on the body in US custody hasn't been identified positively as Osama Bin Laden.

The analysis

At point #1, you can see that the picture quality between the lower and upper half are not equal.

At point #2 you can see that the nose from the upper part and lower part are not matching,they're slightly off centred.

At point #3, you can see that his beard is actually growing on his ear downwards..

Overall analysis, the wounds do not seem like gunshot wounds, they seem more like from an IED explosion or grenade shrapnel.Since at #3,his eye seems bashed in.

Also, if he was shot in the head as reported,he wouldn't have much of a head left, considering the weapons the Navy Seals use.

A tale of nasi lemak and canteen food

recently most of us must have noticed the articles in the newspapers regarding the new rules and guidelines for school canteen operators. According to the ministry, foods such as burgers,sausages and nuggets are banned, while foods such as nasi lemak, can only be served twice a week. And oh yeah, no Ice cream too!

Say goodbye to that burger, you'll never be eating it in school again after next month.

Nasi Lemak? Twice a week only,wonder which two days will it be "Nasi Lemak Day"? hmm

And especially, no more whacking an ice cream or two on a hot day!

Students are all supposed to be good kids and eat bread, or other "healthy" food either from home or from the canteen itself..

Their goal?To prevent obesity it seems!

But then again, what's to stop the kids from eating all this junk at home?Or outside of school? Because,technically they only spend a very small fraction of time in school.Roughly 1 or 2 meals at most in school per day.The other 3-4meals?I doubt that's under the jurisdiction of the ministry.Their parents are the one's who should be educated and the restrictions should be imposed by them,not the schools. Because if parents EDUCATE their children from an early stage,they will know how to judge between what food they can eat regularly and what they should only eat occasionally.No food is bad,only if you take it in uncontrolled amounts,then yes.
So tell me, where is the rationale in all this when these kids are gonna end up like fluffy down there anyway??

All I can say is, I thank God that this all came about after I left school,so I had the blessing of getting to try all the yummy food that awesome food court of SMI had to offer..=D

Where you can expect to see this:
Any movie that involves a call being traced.

Ok, well we've all seen movies that involve a trace being made to track down the mysterious caller calling in to demand a ransom or just some renegade agent calling from the rooftop of the Bosch building opposite and the technician repeatedly signals to the person on the phone to keep the call active for at least 90seconds,then suddenly the caller hangs up and they all go like, "Dammit! He hung up 5 seconds before we could triangulate his position! "

Why is it bullshit you ask?

You ever tried to prank call emergency services?If you have,shame,shame on you, cause you or your parents would probably have been fined/jailed or have a cop come rapping on your door..=D You're asking, "How'd they find me?" This is due to the Emergency Call Tracking System or also known as Enhanced 911 in North America, that automatically detects and associates a phone number with an address(in case a child or a dog dials for help or you're too busy getting stabbed to death to actually speak into the phone.) or pin-points the location based on available phone towers for mobile line(it's called passive Assisted GPS.)

Assisted GPS discovers its position with the help of GPS equipment at cell phone towers, which maintain a constant strong connection to GPS satellites

This all used, ONLY if the person is calling from a private number and the service provider cannot be contacted. Let's say the service provider can be contacted?Well, all they need to do is trace which mobile towers are rerouting that particular number's standby coverage signal, and bam, you have your location without even a call being made from the phone!!

How the hell do you guys think google maps, twitter locations, foursquare or Facebook places on your phones or smartphones are able to detect your location so fast?If they can do it, why can't federal enforcers/agencies do it? Have you guys considered that?

So now, the next time you see this in a movie, you can say it's all bullshit! So now we know it's bullshit, how long does it actually take to trace a call or a cellphone?Well the answer is, within 3-5seconds.The active call is only to find out that a call is coming from that particular phone.

Now most of you have heard of the iPhone or probably even own one right?Today I'm gonna give you a peek into some of the apps the iPhone has to offer and also some of the other possibilities available through a nifty little process called Jailbreaking.

Some apps that the iPhone/iPod touch has to offer,

Seismometer: An app that uses the accelerometer to measure seismic movements accurately.Though when it first came out it was very inaccurate, recent changes have made it quite accurate.:

Ever wish you could measure something approximately by just a photo?Well with Measure It!, it's not far from possible! Just take a photo, choose an object to scale it against then trace the length you wish to measure, as below.

It also let's you use it to make sure surfaces are even

Ok, now enough with the apps..Now, how to get them for free and also add in a few tweaks that would be, well, pretty much impossible on a jailed iPhone/iPod touch.

To jailbreak, go to, redmondpie.com and follow their complete how to guide on jailbreaking. Once Jailbroken, run the "Loader" to install Cydia which is somewhat the jailbreak app store. But wait, Cydia still charges for certain packages! To avoid that, key in the following sources,

Now to install apps for free, lets say you just want to try them before buying it, install "Installous 4". Go to the search are and search for it.

Once installed and launched it looks somewhat like this, almost like iTunes, just minus the "buy app" sign where you pay for it.

Here's a convenient little tweak that is launched by swiping the statusbar on the top.It allows you to control most settings even whole in apps..Just download a package called sbsettings

Have you ever wanted your folders to contain more than just the 12 apps per folder?Well now you can, all you need to do is go to Cydia and download the package below called Infiniboard
