Today I don't get to spend it with my hubby. (He has to work) :( But my kiddos are keeping me great company. Lillie only had a half day of school today and we got to help with crafts today. She is out the rest of the week too! Lillie had a UTI about a week ago which was horrible watching her go through. Hayden had a sinus infection. I feel like everytime I update something is going on with them. Danny had a possible job offer in Knoxville. I think it is only if they absolutely can't find anyone else since we obviously live about 3 1/2 to 4 hours away from Knoxville. They are opening 5 new stores and will need management. Even if it does happen it will be a while. I highly doubt they will have an issue finding someone that want a job. I have had numerous job opportunities lately for prospective clients. I am super excited about what this year has in store for Fotos By Natalie.
Lillie had her Little Mermaid party this past Saturday. She had a blast. She was thrilled that so many people came to celebrate her being born. She is so precious. She climbs in bed with us in the middle of the night and I woke up this morning to her rubbing my cheek telling me that she loved me and thanking me for her birthday. I am still amazed that she is so smart. I still can't believe she is already 4 though! Hayden will be turning 2 on March 16th and I am already planning his birthday party. He loves Spongebob so I guess we are going to have a spongebob party. Well, I have to go cook dinner. Wishing everyone the very best and I will update again soon! ;)

It's a New Year, A new Day...

Happy New Year! (A tad late I know) Lillie is still doing good in school. We had an amazing Christmas. The kids were spoiled as usual. Lillie and Hayden both had their adenoids out in December. The day Hayden had his out he got bit by a dog. Poor lil man had a rough day that day. He had 7 staples on top of his head, 3 stitches in his eyebrow, and 6 stitches on his cheek. Since then he has had all that removed and is doing great. Lillie has Croup right now. She is so good though. We had to sit in the bathroom with the shower going and she was so excited to be able to play in the bathroom. I curled her hair and painted her nails. She kept saying I am a princess Mommy! She is my little princess. We did her breathing treatment and she brushed her teeth and passed out. A couple of days ago we took the kids to see their first movie. Beauty and the Beast in 3D. Lillie loved the 3D glasses. <img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 130px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-BjWyYxjI40A/Tx-Br53cv0I/AAAAAAAAHC4/HFCUs1rHwQA/s400/photo%2B%25281%2529.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5701418244542086978" />She wanted to go see Belle and Ariel after the movie was over. I want to take them to Disney World but I want them to remember it so I think they are too young still. Maybe in a couple of years. Hayden would be 4 and Lillie would be 6. I think that would be a perfect age. My photography business is going great. I am so thrilled to be able to meet such amazing clients and be able to do what I love. Danny is hoping for a promotion soon. He took his Assistant Store Manager test and passed with a high pass. (Which is the best score!) I am so proud of him. Things are going good! Hope everyone is doing well your way, I will update again soon!

Tis the Season!

I really need to start updating more often! Lillie has been enjoying school. We have been preparing for Christmas. I can't believe how fast this month has gone by already. Hayden is potty training and tells me exactly what he wants now. They are both growing up too fast. Thanksgiving was good. We spent it with Danny's family. My family has had a bit of issues lately. I am not even going to get into all of that it hurts my head even thinking about it. My grandmother and grandfather have been having health issues so please pray for them. As always I will try to update more often but being a stay at home mom you would think I would have more time on my hands but I don't. My photography business is going great. I am so happy to be able to do what I love, set my own hours, and meet great people along the way. Thanks to everyone who has supported my hobby over the years and helped me to become what it is now. If I looked back 12 years ago and thought I'd have my own photography business I wouldn't believe it. I have truly been blessed. Thank you Lord. Will blog soon!

October is here!

So a lot has happened since I updated last. Lillie started school. She loves it! I have been having some medical issues still. I won't go into detail but please continue to pray for me. Hayden is chatting up a storm and getting into everything. He had his 18 month check up about a week ago and had his flu shot and vaccinations. Lillie had her flu shot too. He weighed almost 26 pounds! He is my little chunky monkey. I love being a mom. I recently decided to finally pursue my dreams of being a photographer. I always wanted to but never thought I had the knowledge or equipment to start. Go check out my facebook page at www.facebook.com/fotosbynatalie I am still working on a formal website. Wish me luck! I have a couple of photo shoots coming up so I may be busy for the next few weeks. Just wanted to update real quick. :)

Almost my bday

So I went back to the OB and he told me that the baby was a girl and that her chromosome tests came back normal so we don't know what happened to her. We did pick a name out for her to remember her. We named her after Danny's great grandmother. Cora. We picked Reece for her middle name. Cora Reece Smith. Lillie was named after our great grandmother so it seemed like a perfect fit. I only wish she was still in my tummy growing and developing. I know God will bless us with a child when it is our time. I have 2 wonderful healthy children that I thank him for everyday. On a lighter note, my birthday is Thursday. (The 28th) I will be 28! That is how old my mother was when she had me. Lillie starts school on August 8th. I am so nervous and scared. I don't know why but I am. I like for her to be with me at all times lol I know I will eventually have to send her to school though. It is a great opportunity for her to get a headstart. She is only 3 and will be learning a lot. She is laying beside me right now snoring. :) Well I am going to get some rest. I have to go to the dentist in the morning for a cleaning so I have to get up early. Thanks to everyone who has been keeping us in your thoughts and prayers!

Sad news

It truly saddens me to be giving this update. I went to the emergency room about 1 AM Saturday morning and they did an ultrasound and found no fetal heart movement. Told me to follow up with my doctor on Tuesday since it was a holiday weekend. I went in Tuesday had another ultrasound and the baby doesn't have a heartbeat. I was told by my OB that the baby passed away at exactly 12 weeks. I was 13 weeks 3 days when I had the D & C (Yesterday) I'm still in the grieving process and know I will never forget this little Angel that was taken to heaven too soon. Time will make wounds easier to deal with. I've been taking pain meds for the physical discomfort. I know this baby was a surprise but I was so excited about it. I had a miscarriage earlier this year and was 7 weeks so they did send the tissue off to be genetically tested. They said it was probably due to chromosome abnormality. I hope I can get some answers from this because I am devastated. I will update more of course when I know more. Please pray for my family through this very difficult journey ahead. Also please say a prayer for my swift recovery from this surgery. I appreciate it so much. Thanks

Update on pregnancy

Well in 2 days I will be 3 months pregnant! Time seems to be going by pretty quick lately. I guess the kids keep me busy. I have had a couple of scares with the pregnancy already. I had an issue and went in to the ob/gyn and they did an ultrasound and found subchorionic bleeding. It was small about 6mm. Doc seems to be really optimistic that it will go away and not cause any issues. I am concerned since I had preclampsia with both my past pregnancies. Also Hayden was LGA (Large for gestational age) I am sure God will keep us safe ;) Well just wanted to update for now. Kids are still growing like weeds!

BIG News!

I'M PREGNANT!!!!!! Sorry everyone. I have been busy lately. My cousin is getting married in September! They asked me to be a bridesmaid and Lillie to be the flower girl. I'm excited for them. Lillie went to the dentist for the first time and has no cavities :) She also got glasses. Hayden is walking around like crazy. My babies are growing up! My 10 year class reunion is coming up fast. I'm looking forward to reconnecting with everyone. I got a new camera and have been enjoying editing pictures with Photoshop. I am still trying to learn how to use it. We are having bad weather tonight so I am going to wrap this up quickly. Check out my edits folder on my facebook page to see some of my edits. :) Good night everyone!

Christmas went great. The kids got so many gifts. They are spoiled rotten. I was too and I turned out okay. :) We had Lillie's 3rd birthday party this month. I can't believe that she is already 3. Hayden's birthday is quickly approaching. We are having Hayden's party on the 19th of March. Birthday's are so stressful! Danny has a pinched nerve in his foot and we have been having to take him to a podiatrist to get injections to kill the nerve...ouch! Hoping he gets better soon. My grandfather had a detatched retina and has had to have surgery. Everyone please say a prayer for him. He has been very uncomfortable lately. I'm at my wits end with some people I won't name any names...just lets say I need a unspoken prayer request. Hope everyone has been checking my facebook for updates and pictures because I have not updated in a while. It is hard with 2 youngins running around! Hopefully it won't be long before I update again. Hope everyone is doing well and we will update asap. :)

Christmas is right around the corner!

Well everyone in our house is recovering from being sick. I had to go to the ER the other day because my virus turned into a horrible sinus infection. Hayden had RSV. Lillie had a cold. Now my grandfather is sick and throwing up. Please pray for our family. We are ready for Christmas. Lillie decided she was going to unwrap her cousins present today so I have to re-wrap it. Other than that it is done! :) I hung the lights yesterday...The tree has been up since Thanksgiving. Stocking are hung. I took the kiddos to see Santa yesterday. I am excited this year. It is Hayden's first Christmas and I can't wait to see him and Lillie open gifts. We got Lillie a Mobi-Go because she likes playing on Danny's I touch and xbox. I'm afraid she is going to be a gamer like her dad. At least what she is going to be playing is educational right? Oh, I got my early Christmas present. We bought furniture for the living room and our bedroom. We upgraded to a king bed and now I feel like I am in luxury. Oh and Danny bought a Jeep Wrangler so now I have my car back! :) We still have the Camaro and the Volvo we need to fix. It will have to wait for now though. I'm getting tired though. I will be updating with Christmas pictures soon.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_x_hzWBWqKTQ/TRAlr1HV2fI/AAAAAAAABj4/ePApHBV3A74/s320/1121101553.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5552979775470295538" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_x_hzWBWqKTQ/TRAlrngEBHI/AAAAAAAABjw/m1g60FYuToc/s320/100_2492.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5552979771815887986" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 213px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_x_hzWBWqKTQ/TRAlrToCHLI/AAAAAAAABjo/UwBoiXugAXA/s320/101_2510.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5552979766480608434" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 299px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_x_hzWBWqKTQ/TRAlrZ8RscI/AAAAAAAABjg/VzyJXDUOeIQ/s320/101_2526-1.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5552979768176128450" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 160px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_x_hzWBWqKTQ/TRAlrIT2nkI/AAAAAAAABjY/lbaqTAInYCo/s320/101_2528-1.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5552979763443179074" />

Hayden is crawling! My babies are all grown up now :( Lillie loved trick or treating she got to dress up as Snow White and Wonder Woman. Hayden was a pumpkin and a duck. Christmas is coming up fast. I keep telling her that Santa is going to bring her presents and she says yay!!! I say Ho, Ho, Ho and she says it back. Danny is working a lot still. With the holidays it is a busy time of year for the retail businesses. My mother had to have surgery on her hand because some type of tumor had grown and was making her hand draw up. She is recovering well. Now my grandmother is sick. Please pray for a swift recovery. Well, it is getting late. Had to turn our clocks back an hour so my time is all messed up right now.

Summer gone already?

Wow! Hayden is almost 6 months old now~ We have been so busy adjusting to having 2 kiddos that I forgot to update on here. He crawls backwards, loves sucking his thumb, and loves giggling when getting kisses. Lillie loves her Bubba. She is my big helper. We just got back from visiting the Newborn family and went to Panama City since we were sorta close by. It was 3 hours away. We stayed the night and Lillie had a blast. Hayden didn't really know what was going on. My grandparents and the kids are going to Santa Rosa Beach Florida from the 8th to the 11th! I am excited and hope that the kids do okay with the trip. It is 6 hours. I just hope we don't drive my grandparents crazy! Lillie is going through the terrible two's but I am used to it...I know it will probably stress them out. So pray for us! I will upload pics when I get back. Until then check my facebook out for updates and photos. Much Love!

Time flies

Wow, I know I have said it many times but time goes by way to fast. Hayden is 2 1/2 months old now. Lillie is continuing to be a great big sister. She helps put his paci back in, throws away diapers, and loves to kiss on him. He is smiling and cooing like crazy. Recently he started slobbering a lot so he may be starting to teeth. We took him back to the doctor for his 2 month check up and his shots and he was almost 14 pounds already!!! I must just make big babies. :) I have been contemplating going back to work but I'm really unsure about it. We need the extra income really bad but daycare costs an arm and a leg. I also hate to be away from my kids. I guess no one really wants to leave their children but it is so hard. I don't want to miss the first words, the first time he crawls, or walks. I don't want Lillie to get pushed around by other kids. I stayed in daycare growing up and I was sick all the time. On another subject please say a special prayer for my grandparents. They have been sick lately and I have been praying that they feel better soon. Well since the clock just rolled to midnight I guess I need to get in bed. Hayden will be waking up around 3 or so for his feeding. I love being a mommy! *and I am not being sarcastic* It is the greatest job in the world!!!

<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) stripped. Later that afternoon my contractions started and got to 5 minutes apart. I had my mom come take care of Lillie and drove myself to the hospital. I got there and waited an hour in the waiting room for a room to open. By the time they got me back and checked me I was dilated to 3.5 at 8:30. They admitted me and got me an epidural. (Relief finally!) Danny arrived about midnight. He got lost on the way to the hospital! They broke my water at 4 cm and they re-checked me at 1:00 AM and I was dilated to a 7. I got re-checked 2 hours later and was a 9! My nurse (which was great!) allowed Hayden to move down further because with Lillie I had to push for 2 hours and 41 minutes. When she came back I was ready to push. The nurse woke up Danny and got the midwife to come on down. I pushed for 24 minutes and he arrived at 5:34 AM. He was 8 pounds 13 ounces and 20 inches long! No wonder I was so miserable at the end of my pregnancy! I was having blood pressure issues and they had to start me on magnesium sulfate that day. It wasn't to fun! I continued to have issues and they made me stay until Friday (I got there Monday evening) I followed up with the doc on the following Monday and my bp was still high. They have me on a bp medicine twice a day until my 6 week checkup. I am so glad he was healthy and that this labor was easier! I am going to upload a slide show of all the pics, hope everyone enjoys!

Lillie is 2!

Well Lillie's birthday went well. We had family over and I cooked rigatoni. She had a hello kitty cake. She had a blast. I took lots of pictures of course. My grandmother didn't get to make it cause she was sick so say a special prayer for her please. I have been so tired lately that I haven't updated in a while. Hayden is huge now. (Still in my belly) I am almost 39 weeks along. I hope that I don't have to be induced again. I'm already dilated to a 1 1/2 and 70% effaced, and he is at -2 station. So fingers crossed he is getting ready to come soon! Lillie is sick right now so we are hoping she gets to feeling better soon. She has a cough and runny nose. I just got over that and I know it is horrible. Well, I am exhausted so I am gonna go lay down. Will update with pics soon! :)

Update!

Well instead of waiting on Wednesday they went ahead and squeezed me in today. The ultrasound showed no signs of Hydronephrosis! YAY!!!!!! He is measuring 34 weeks 4 days and is about 5 pounds 5 ounces. They told me to continue to take it easy. I got a couple of pictures of him today. Will post them on here. It is Danny's birthday today. Happy birthday baby! We are getting close to 30~ I guess that is what happens though. What is that saying? With age comes wisdom? lol Well, just thought I'd update. I have another appointment on the 4th so we will see if anything changes before then.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 213px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_x_hzWBWqKTQ/S2eWW5atniI/AAAAAAAABN0/C2k50_Ior60/s320/img016.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5433476795559943714" />

Still a boy!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_x_hzWBWqKTQ/S2eWWihOfXI/AAAAAAAABNs/mUNETrpWAVM/s320/hayden+face.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5433476789413248370" />

Nose/lips

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_x_hzWBWqKTQ/S2eWWF64wvI/AAAAAAAABNk/9v-fRFW8kVQ/s320/img015.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5433476781736248050" />

Profile

Labor and Delivery scare

Well I ended up in labor and delivery the entire day almost. I fell down the stairs and went in to get monitored. I got there and started having contractions every 2 to 3 minutes. The nurses started an IV and took blood...Gave me fluids and made me lay on my left side. The contractions started getting 5 minutes apart after the fluids. They ordered an ultrasound and gave me a shot to stop contractions. The lab work came back good but the ultrasound showed that Hayden had hydronephrosis...(fluid in his kidneys) I have to go back for another ultrasound on Wednesday to check and make sure everything is okay with his little kidneys. I am going to be a nervous wreck until then. I'm exhausted though so I will continue to update as soon as I hear something. We have had such a great year this past year. To update everyone we had a great Christmas! Lillie had a great time opening presents and got so many new toys. Last time I wrote I had gone to take my 2nd glucose test and I passed it! YAY! No gestational diabetes, thank goodness! The new house is great we are really loving it here. Hayden is getting bigger and bigger. He jabs me all the time. The baby shower is quickly approaching. I really didn't know if I should have another shower since this is my second child, but my friend that is throwing it for me talked me into it. Every child deserves to be celebrated and everything I have is for a girl! I am guessing second showers are more like "sprinkles" and are more for diapers and clothes. I am excited though. I am going to update with lots of pics and my next doctors appointment is the 7th. :)

<img style="display:block; I can't believe how fast time has been going by. We have already moved in to the new house and got everything unpacked! I am so thankful that is over. I went back to the doctor and had to do another glucose test and they also informed me that lil Hayden is still measuring big for how far along I am so he may be a big baby or I may be further along than they previously thought. I had a scare the day before yesterday. I started having contractions and they lasted all day long. I guess they were just braxton hicks contractions though. They just seemed a lot stronger than the ones I had with Lillie. I am gearing up for the baby shower which is about a month away. I really am stunned that it is already time for that. It should be interesting to see how 20 people fit into my living room! I have so many ideas but we will see what happens. My long time friend Natalee is throwing me a shower but we are going to have it at my house cause it is foolish to rent a place when I can spend that money on Hayden instead. Plus I won't have to take the gifts anywhere after we get done! I have another doctor appointment on the 4th of January so we will see how the glucose test went. I guess no news is good news though. I would hate to have gestational diabetes! Lillie just had her holiday pictures taken. We are going on Tuesday to get pictures taken with Santa. I can't believe how smart she is. She astonishes me more and more everyday! Well, I will definitely be posting pictures soon, I'm exhausted so after Christmas you will be hearing more from me! :)

~OB UPDATE~

Doctor appointment was yesterday! I really liked the doctor that I saw. I usually see the midwives and he was really nice. I got my uterus measured and heard the heart beat. He said everything looked great and that the baby was measuring on the big side so we would measure again next visit and if he was still big we may have to do another ultrasound. My next appointment is December 14th. We will be in our house by then! I am so excited and nervous about moving. We have already been packing. Our entire dining room is full of boxes. Only 2 more weeks!!! Lillie is getting smarter and smarter everyday. She amazes me. Thanksgiving is in a couple of days. I'm excited about seeing all my family. It seems like I only get to see them if it is Thanksgiving, Christmas, or if someone is in the hospital. I am hoping that changes after I have Hayden and get a bigger place. Maybe I can start hosting holiday functions. Well, I am gonna go take a nap while Lillie is sleeping. :)

Update...

Well we put down a deposit on a house and will be moving starting December 8th! We are super excited and can't wait to have our own house. Apartment life isn't all that great! We are only moving about 5 or 10 minutes away so it won't be to much more of a commute. Wish us luck! I go back for my glucose test on the 23rd of November. I dread that. I had to do the 3 hour glucose test with Lillie so I am hoping this one will come back normal so I don't have to go through that again. Halloween went well. We dressed Lillie up as a little bumble bee fairy. She was adorable of course! We went to a halloween party at my older brothers house in Woodstock GA. It was freezing outside though so we only stayed about an hour. I felt bad for leaving but I was scared we would all get sick...guess what...we did! :( I got a cold and Lillie had a runny nose for a few days. Danny got away with out anything. We are better now thank goodness! Being pregnant and sick isn't fun cause you can't take many meds to make you feel better. Well, I have to get ready for bed, Wish me luck on the glucose test! Oh and pray for my sister in law Jessica she is pregnant and has kidney stones. If she doesn't pass them she will have to have surgery and we don't want that to happen! Thanks everyone~

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_x_hzWBWqKTQ/SvzU8IfIl8I/AAAAAAAABC8/kwEX2oeGRD0/s320/DSCN5653.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5403427782473062338" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_x_hzWBWqKTQ/SvzU7u8F74I/AAAAAAAABC0/Rlwr8UYshdA/s320/DSCN5650.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5403427775615201154" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_x_hzWBWqKTQ/SvzU7e-R4iI/AAAAAAAABCs/377DsASDTOg/s320/DSCN5648.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5403427771329405474" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_x_hzWBWqKTQ/SvzU6z-ZElI/AAAAAAAABCk/gfPb9SdjoCg/s320/DSCN5639.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5403427759787151954" />

Realization

The ultra sound appointment was definitely lots of fun and a pretty emotional experience for the both of us. The baby was moving SO MUCH. It was so crazy to watch this little baby on the screen in front of us, looking like a baby and moving like a baby, while it was inside of me. I had to keep asking myself if that was really happening inside of me. And days later it’s still hard to believe…that there really is a live baby person inside of me…that is going to grow into a toddler, a kid, a teenager, an adult …an individual. This little person that God is using Danny and me as tools to create. When i really think about it, it is such a beautiful and wild realization and privilege. It’s so exciting though and an amazing thing to get to experience…to watch and feel this little one grow inside of me.
