2011-05-06T21:15:00.000-07:00

I am having a work filled day. ferociously inspired. ferociously want to get this work done so i can do more drawing. build my profile and start creating myself as a brand so i can do more projects like this.

day 2.

2011-05-05T16:06:00.000-07:00

After discovering Frank Liew, and adding him on twitter, then finding out Bobby Hundreds was near our house on the weekend, i am feeling somewhat inspired. so from yesterdays update on infographics, here is day 2:

The new daily

2011-05-05T16:01:00.000-07:00

Ok, so i haven't really thought that far ahead, but i am going to try and do this. once a day, i will do a vector infographic of my mood. I know. exciting. i don't know how long i can keep this up for, but i can only try. so here goes:

day 1

2011-02-07T14:52:00.001-08:00

here are the guys that got me over the line.

been busy.

2011-02-07T14:16:00.000-08:00

So i have been a little busy recently, but i'm working it out. get it done. in my spare time, (the time i am at my retail job, when there is no customers ) i critique the work of others, sometimes the V.Ms, (they like to call themselves 'interior designers', which is like calling myself a graphical engineer. Sometimes the brands get it wrong.

Sometimes we make lunch too.

Sometimes we go out to eat.

this is at cavallero on smith street.

good breakfast, nice food. nice service. great vibe.

thats when i have to exercise, and find new graffiti to go and have a look at.

Busy busy busy

OH NOHE DE-ANT

OLA BITCHES!

My boredom knows no bounds.

2011-01-20T21:15:00.001-08:00

We were busy at work today.

2011-01-19T17:19:00.000-08:00

I haven't really felt like blogging of late. i have been doing stuff and trying to get onto some work. it's getting easier, and i'm working it all out, but misch took me out to Ponyfish Island. Nice bar.
then we went home and made burgers. nom nom nom

Wood spoon

2011-01-16T02:37:00.001-08:00

A nice dinner with nice company. The food was suprising, the beef wasabi salad was sour, and the wasabi brought it through to make it refreshing. The pork was amazing. The eggplant was suprising and the soba noodles went perfectly with with wasabi salad. All this with a sopporo, and I will sleep one happy camper tonight. If only I could win this game of hotels...

melbourne bars

2011-01-15T17:22:00.000-08:00

Saturday night after work, Misch and I went to Robot bar in Bligh Pl, near Elizabeth St.
the people are nice and the bar was pretty chic, it wasn't outrageously expensive, and it was relatively chilled. outdoor in the alley was nice and plenty of room. overall a nice place. i will definitely go there again. we had some beer, some food and relaxed before we headed off to punch lane for some nice wine.
on our way we tried to get to croft institute, but were scared off my the $10 door charge. we were doing so well with some nice graffiti, that i would like to go and get photos of during the day sometime. hard to find, but perhaps i will have a look when it doesn't cost to get in.
punch lane was nice. a bit pretentious, so i fit in well. but the service was nice, the waiter was jovial and brought his bic 'portable ambience' to bring some ambience to our table as he confessed he was on his way out to have a cigarette and was going to use the tool so he didn't look so scummy, smoking in the alley.
a after wine jog to the tram saw us back towards smith street and trying a bar 'alias' which won us over with free covercharge and 2-for-1 drink. not really much to say. it was a nightclub. pretty cool. there wasn't really anyone there but we were there pretty early. my old bones couldn't take anymore though so we up and left, homebound.

overall the night was nice. i saw a few bars that i know where i will take visitors when they come south. my favourite is still berliner bar, but that may just be the theme. and as nice as it was just me and misch, some bars are nice for 2, some bars are nice to party in.

The weekend is up.

2011-01-11T15:30:00.000-08:00

the past few days have been pretty chilled. nice, despite the weather, michelle and i have had some fun. we have been to docklands, surrey hills, around collingwood, gorged ourselves on spanish last night, and overall great food, good times and good company.
i even managed to get out this morning and snap a few shots of graffiti. a lot by phibs, but all round good work. i don't really want this to become a blog about graffiti, rather the art and other things that inspire me.

docklands

docklands II - melbourne

looks like a meccano set.

docklands reminds me of pyrmont, sydney.

Fresh pasta

2011-01-07T14:11:00.001-08:00

Living the domestic life last night, Michelle and I made pasta. Fresh homemade pasta. It was nice to get away from the computer for the 4 hours it took to make.
Then we started watching Mistresses on sbs, until we saw boobies. We switched to a topless Mel Gibson in Maverick.
Ending the night with 'its always sunny in Philadelphia'
