Wow I still cant believe I'm married finally got my beautiful wedding ring which my heart just burst with love from my hubby every time i look at it :) For England for any special occasion i can promise u weather is right at the front of all the problems and worries especially after having the wettest summer EVER!!!!! weeks and weeks before rain was everyday my dream of an outside ceremony felt like they would just stay that. We had picked a beautiful British manor house which the wedding would still been lovely im sure but this house had such stunning grounds views of the countryside which just felt such a huge shame to miss out on what i felt half of the essences of the wedding. #as the as got closer rain was set for my day Sunday 12th August 2012 with grey rain the day before we r pretty much set on plan B rain even say the showers would start at 2 which was when our ceremony would start. after a night of thrill excitement nerves and joy our BIG day had finally arrived looking out side whilst doing hair and make up it was all grey 4 me thats perfect it can be as grey as it likes just no rain lol!! by the hours of getting ready celebrating with my bridesmaids and parents before we set off. bout half hour late i think but you've gotta build the suspense and make an entrance hey :) as walking out the door i was blown away by the totally unpredicted most mazing gift of complete blue sky was even very hot lol!! The whole day was just a picture book fairy tale wedding more beautiful than i could of every dreamt or hoped for the best being share the most important precious promise i think any person can say to one another with all the people you love for surrounding you. know looking into simon eyes ive found more than my price charming but a life time soul mate best friend the complete other half of me!!

As much as people say this i truly believe there iis someone for everyone especially find him when u completly unexpected it what so ever which was exactly what happened to me and alot of my girlfriends! Always remember to LOVE your self first then love will find you <3 <3 <3

Hello my friends :)

Im so sorry for the huge amount of nothing coming from this blog but a lot a lot has changed since my last post many months ago!! Going with the insanely amazing news first is that on our 3 year anniversary my boyfriend proposed to me and of course i said a massive YES :) We r getting married on Sunday 12th August 2012 sooo exciting. So wedding plans r in full swig with nt long to go now my time is dominated with wedding everything. But things r starting together now, its so lovely seeing all ur dreams for your special day all coming together!! So the bad news is since the last time ive posted is I for many months i have been seriously unwell so as each day i still have problems and effects from it still days and days i have to just be in bed. Im sure u can understand that any days or hours im able i have to keep battling on with wedding preparations as i dont know the next time im well enough to do it and of course u have a time limit lol. So i havent bn able to keep up my blog or Youtube videos hope i will start to be able to share some wedding tip and advice 4 those that want it as u definitely learn a lot hope can share mistakes as well so u know what to do and what to avoid.

So where was I?? I made this video awhile a ago probably more than a year ago now but with the winter weather truly settled in and the central heating full blast lol!! My skin has been going crazy with and very dry just sensitive which unusual for me as i have very oily skin. So i found my self looking back at this video and the recipes I had posted for all skin types. Perfect reasons for making your own home made facial mask:

The most important is you know all the ingredients inside the mask your putting on your skin and free of additives and preservatives. Also a must when you have very sentsitive skin!!!
It at home you dont need to go anywhere apart from your kitchen yay :)
All natural products, most you will already have in your cupboards.
You can make your's 100% organic if you choose.

How to choose the best colour's for your skin tone

Hi all, hope your well!
Before I help you find what colours compliment your skin tone, if your not certain on how to find your skin undertone the link will forward to to my previous post so can fine that out but make sure you then stop back here so will have the know how of the best and most flattering colour for you.

Choosing the right colours for your skin tone is so important (especially went searching for your ideal foundation!! Know how hard that is!!). It can make a huge difference for natural, fresh faced enhanced beauty where as wrong colours will pin point more problem areas.
Please remember these are just ideas and tips you don't have to stick to these colours all the time such as eye shadow I love mixing it up and wearing all different shades just particularly the blush and foundation really does help knowning what could suit your skin tone.

Warm skin tones colour palette

Foundation
When choosing the perfect foundation warm skin tone girlie's or guys should opped for a yellow based make up and names that sound warm like: warm beige, honey beige, almond, copper.

Eye shadow, Blush & Lip Stick
When choosing colours for your eyes warm undertones suit earthy shades such as golds, copper, olive, bronze and orange-red. Blush and lips blends of coral, apricot, warm peach, rose, red, orange, nude and bronze. Particularly when choosing a red lip stick an orange base one is ideal for you!!!!

Hair colour
Warms should look for colours with names like: honey, auburn, golden etc. Also for highlights, but best to colour two shades lighter or darker than your natural hair colour.

Cool skin tones colour palette

Foundation
Cool skin flatter foundation that are neutral or pink based (sometime referred to as blue based) and cool sounding names like: Ivory, rose tinted, bisque.

Eye shadow, Blush & Lip Stick
Choosing your eyes shadows cool peeps flatter shade such as: silver, blue- red, jewel tones, mauves, violet, pinks ect. Blush and Lip stick are similar e.g. Berry shades, plumes, roses, fuchias. Your favourable red lip stick choose one with a blue base.

Hair colour

How to find your skin undertone

Hi peeps,

Something I've struggles for a while to understand and figuring out is my skin's undertone. Choosing certain make up products like foundation and blusher. Its pretty important if you want totally coverage as will blend naturally with your skin tones, who doesn't want that lol!!!
But actually finding a simple way to this was surprisingly hard online as there are many ways but just really not clear still what category your in!! But good news Ive crack the code and by the end of this post im sure can find out what your skin tone is too.

Before getting started finding your skin's undertone thought it might be helpful knowing what it all means.

Your skin undertones are the colours that are underneath the skin surface and cast a shadow on your shin colour. The next test will help you figure out what tone you are.

Test 1

Make sure your in good light preferably natural light. Turn over your arm and look at your vein. If they seem more green then you have yellow undertones and your skin tone is warm. If they appear more blue then you have blue undertones and your skin tone is cool.

Test 2

Another easy way is to look at the natural colour of your hair and eyes. Most likely if you have green, blue or grey eyes with black, brown or blonde hair you have a cool skin tone. So if you have black, brown or hazel eyes with black, brown, blonde or red hair you have warm skin tones.

MAC Blushcreme - Brit Wit

Hello Hello Hello :)

So to day I wanted to tell you my thought and feelings on the MAC's Blush creme in Brit Wit.

I bough this blush for the first time few days before Christmas ready for the Christmas and New Year partying hehehe!!

I'd been looking for a good quality cream blush that will stand the test of time!! After trying a few cheaper options I was having trouble just blending them let alone any colour staying in place. I'd thought it was about time to hit MAC counter YAY lol.

I'd heard a lot about there creme blushes so thought I would test 1 out and I really wasn't disappointed!!!

Brit Wit is a beautiful rosey beige. I think colour is perfect for light to medium skin tones which is great for me as should suit me all year round. The blush is super creamy which helps sooo much when blending it into your skin and letting you achieve the best coverage and colour for you. I think this is why the cheaper products just didnt work for me.

If, by now your not convinced MAC's creme blushes are worth a try this must entice you .......
This blusher will last hour after hour after hour and STILL look dewy and give you that natural flush of colour!!! What more can u want :) I've always worn powder blushes would need to touch up constantly.

MAC's prices are always something you have to think about and recommend trying a few shades before you buy. But with this quality you wont need another blusher again!! I'm converted.

China Glaze - For Audrey firework design

Hey lovies :),

I wanted to share with u a nail design that's PERFECT if you want something a bit special but time just isn't on your side!!! I'm so excited to be using my new China Glaze nail varnish- FOR AUDREY I got for Christmas. I'm sure you know this polish as very popular would say it's China Glazes most famous polish. Here's a close up picture.

It's a beautiful colour which is extremely similar to Tiffany & Co boxes. China Glaze designed this polish with the classic and well loved film Breakfast at Tiffany's staring Audrey Hepburn (whom I love) in mind. It was released as a limited edition shade still widely available online. The polish contains 14ml or 5 fl oz so even though China Glaze aren't the cheapest polish brand to buy you really do get a lot for your money!!It was released as a limited edition shade but still widely available online where I brought too. Make sure you look at a few different sites as you'll be surprised at how varied the prices are!!!

It's very thick which sometimes isn't the easiest to brush smoothly on to your nails but this polish seems to slide on near perfect. The colour is very pigmented so really 1 coat all you will need and amazingly doesn't take long to dry which is a huge plus in my books.

To create this sort of firework print I Used my Konad set and my new Bundle Monster image plate BM02 which Im extremely extremely excited to use, thanks Santa again hehehe :) I think the dark blue compliments For Audrey beautifully. Using the plates are so super simple and quick why this nail art really won't take you long at all.

For that very important dazzle add some gems, I've chosen silver but any colour you choose will be perfect. The gems really make this design just pulls it all together. So easy to add just need a dot of clear nail polish to hold the gem and trust me it wont fall off , what ever you do !!!!!!!!!!!

Then to finish use a topcoat for shine and to protect your Konad image. With drying time this must of taken me like 10 mins so test it out Im sure you will love it :)

Snowflake Nails

Hi guys :)
HAPPY NEW YEAR!! hope you all enjoyed your celebrations, its crazy its 2012 lol!!

I really wanted to share with you the nails I designed and wore over the Christmas period. Really love them and everyone was really impressed with them :) but between you and me they where pretty easy too!! so you can def recreate them. Hope you like them.

Step 1: I painted my nails with a base coat. This is specially important if you are using a dark colour so wont stain your nail underneath.

Step 2: I chose a mid-dark blue,and fully painted each nail.

Step 3: Pour some silver polish on some paper or card. Using a small sponge dab it into the polish then straight to the tip of your nail. The sponge gives you a speckled effect. You want to concentrate mostly on the tip then lightly dab it a few times up the nail to spread out the silver specks.

Step 4: Using a white nail art brush or pen you want to draw a cross like this X in the middle of your nail the a line straight down the middle. Will look like a star.

Step 5: At the end of each line flick out two tiny lines, bit like an arrow. You have the perfect snow flack :)

Add a good top coat for protection and shine.

And your finish!! Beautiful winter wonderland nails xxx

This colour above is more of a coral colour and the 3rd polish picture looks very similar to this one but is definitely a red !!! The camera and the lighting just couldn't pick up the colour sorry guys!

Heya,
The nail art I've created is very simple but stunning. It's Indian inspired with beautiful gold and purple shades. You don't need to buy any extra's for this look as you can just use a nail varnish brush. Hope the step by step video helps you to do this design yourself but of course you can mix up the colours for your very own creations. Topshops New Make Up Collection This Spring!!

Just discovered some exciting news!! Topshop have literally just released a new spring limited edition make up range called Sandstorm. This collection is enriched with warm tones and metallic finishes but a contrast of sorbet and neon colours.

These products are perfect for everyday and can build up for a stunning night time look as well. But the range to me is screaming out summer festival with its different colours and textures so can't wait to get my hands on this line, in stores NOW!!

On the Topshop website they created two online tutorials using Sandstorm make up. A Grunge Rock look and a Tribal Warrior look worth a look to get some ideas and tips for your own personal style :)

Home Made Lip Scrubs

Through out the last few months my lips have taken a battering with al the elements. The freezing temperatures of winter then sudden warmth of central heating really drys my lips right out!!!

Here are 3 tried and tested home made lip scrubs to try out :-

Honey lip scrub:

Ingredients you will need :

1 teaspoon of honey
1 teaspoon of baking soda
a few drops of olive oil

Step 1- Mix together the honey and the baking soda till you create a smooth paste. You can use a container but a quick tip is to just use the palm of your hand.

Step 2- Apply the mixture with your finger to your lips but most importantly leave it to sit for a few minutes! Then with your finger or just by rubbing your lips together, remove any dead skin on the surface.

Step 3- Using warm water gently rinse the scrub off.

Step 4- Apply a small amount of olive oil while they r still wet, then blot dry with a cloth or tissue.

Sugar Lip Scrub:
Step 1- Place a teaspoon of raw coarse sugar on to your the palm of your hand.

Step 2- Using your finger add a few drops of water to form a paste. Then lightly rub in to your lips.

Step 3- Wash away with warm water. Then apple olive oil or my favourite vaseline to keep them moisturised after.

Salt & Sugar Lip Scrub:

Ingredients you will need:

1 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of white sugar

1 teaspoon of vaseline or shea butter

Step1- Mix all the above ingredients into a container or just the palm of you hand.

Step 2- Put the mixture on your lips and let it soak in for a few minutes. Then rub your lips together or use your finger to exfoliate them.

Step 3- Wash your lips with warm water. Then apply more vaseline or shea butter for extra moisture and protection. Your lips will be beautifully soft and smooth :)

*Use this scrub 2 or 3 times a week if your lips are especially dry and flaky!

I'm uploading a spring time nail tutorial any day now using this gorgeous nail varnish!!! I'm just so in love with it. Not had it that long but I just keep going back to this beautiful pearlised colour really getting me in the mood for spring :)
