Day 2: YouTube - Preparing Your Videos

YouTube is by far the best and easiest way to promote this type of product. Hordes of musicians of all levels are browsing YouTube daily searching for information, tutorials, and most importantly for us new tools and products. Show those guys what they want to see and the sales are guaranteed to come.

As easy as it sounds this is a tested and proven method, and works just great.
We are going to upload videos and use our redirected domain name that we just bought yesterday as a clickable link.
We will put this link in visible places so everyone seeing your video can't miss it and when they click on it and purchase you will be earning easy commissions.
Remember, you don't have to sell anything with this method, our site makes sure that the visitors you're sending to us are converted to buyers, all you have to do is drive the traffic.

Although we are going to teach you the methods step by step the things that we can't teach you are dedication and consistency which happens to play a huge role in success.
YouTube videos of this kind convert extremely well, all you have to do is take some time every day to repeat the process and you're on your way to make a nice passive income for a long time to come.

Now we want to create the channel. Refer to the pictures and follow the steps.

It's always advisable to give your profile a "human touch". Add an avatar, write something about yourself, subscribe to someone else's channel, like videos, etc.. Anything that proves you're human and not software that made the account.

Step 3 - Editing The Videos (optional)

If you are going to use original and unique videos for uploading you can skip this step but for those who will upload the official videos, bear in mind that these are already online, uploading them again will result in duplicate content and will be rejected by YouTube.

Another good thing to do if your editing software has the ability is to change the audio slightly.
A small alteration such as changing the volume by 1db or pitch will make your audio file unique in the eyes of YouTube system.
Adding an intro image can also help you in overall click through rate, since you can add the thumbnail image when you upload the video.

Step 4 - Adding And Writing Titles, Descriptions And Tags For Your Videos

Before the actual uploading, it's a good idea to have your titles, descriptions and tags written in advance.
Considering we'll be putting a good amount of videos online, making up the tags every time can be pretty daunting. If you have them ready it's a simple copy and paste.

Titles

Titles are something that will catch a potential visitor's eye when your video is listed among many similar others.
You need a title that is closely related with the keyword you target and at the same time more appealing than others.
Now it might sound complicated, but all you have to do really is to follow the common sense, don't be spammy and you'll be fine.
Check how others are writing there's, type some keywords related to yours into the YouTube search bar and write down the titles of the results you'd be likely to click among them if you're the user in search mode.

Now create a list of titles you're going to be using, the more you have the better it will be, don't make duplicate titles for your videos, don't make them too long and don't put just your keyword as a title.
Titles need to be appealing for a person searching YouTube to click on!

Description

Description is a very important part of your video.
This is one more thing you need to give yourself some time with to make them all right.

Don't be lazy with writing description, it's the only creative part you'll have to do with YouTube promotion, it can also make the difference between 1 and 10 sales on every 100 clicks you send.

Important: Make sure you have your redirected domain name from day 1 at the beginning of every description!

Many people don't even read the whole description, for those in a hurry we want them to see the actual clickable link before anything else.
Do not hide your link so that people have to expand the description to see it you will lose many sales like that for sure.

The link that you'll be putting in the description field should be in this exact format:

Anything other than that, like

www.yourdomainname.com

or

yourdomainname.com

and most certainly

<a href http://www.yourdomainname.com <Anchor Text>

will result in non clickable link, and will decrease conversions. You must put http:// at the beginning of every clickable link without anchor text available.

Tags

Tags are nothing but a bunch of keywords describing your video, check out other videos that are ranking well in the YouTube search and see what tags thet are using, make them relevant, but not spammy.

This should keep you occupied enough for today, tomorrow we are going to start uploading the videos that we prepared which will be much easier and faster once we have all these tasks done.

If you are running short of ideas you can use the Google external keyword tool HERE, add a few keywords and it will give you a whole bunch of relevant phrases which you could use as your domain name (see Image below).

Once you have a few ideas for your domain name we are going to head over to Godaddy http://www.godaddy.com/ and start checking to see they are available.
What you will want to do is start typing the names you have come up with into the box and see if they are available for instance:

You want to try and get a .com extension if possible but a .net or .org is still fine if they are the only ones left.

Once you have picked one that is available you will want to pay for it and save your Godaddy login details as you will need those later.

Step 2: Getting Your Hosting

Now you have your domain name you will need some hosting as well

If you are just starting out with affiliate marketing then the 'Hatchling Plan' HERE (see image below) will be fine for the methods I'm going to teach you.
Its easy to setup and you can also expand to a larger plan at a later date as your affiliate promotion grows.

When you are purchasing your hosting make sure that in 'Step 1' you click on 'Use an Existing domain name' (see image below) and enter the one your purchased from Godaddy in the previous step.

Step 3: Setting Up Your Hosting And Domain Name

Now we are ready to set up our domain name and hosting.

What we are going to do is set it all up so that when someone visits your domain they are then automatically redirected to your Clickbank hoplink.
This is all fairly simple as long as you follow the steps below to the letter

1. First you will need to get the 'nameservers' that Hostgator gave to you when you signed up for your hosting, they will be something like NS16.HOSTGATOR.COM and NS17.HOSTGATOR.COM

2. You then need to login to your Godaddy account and click on the 'Domain Management' menu (see image below).

3. This will take you to a list of your domains, you need to click on the one your purchased earlier and this will take you to an admin section where you can input certain settings.

4. You now need to click on the 'Set NameServers' tab.

5. Then click on ' I have specific nameservers for my domains' now enter the 2 nameservers that were given to you by hostgator in the 'Nameserver 1' and 'Nameserver 2' boxes and click ok, your domain and hosting is now set up.

Step 4: Forwarding Your Domain To Your Dr Drum Clickbank Affiliate Link

1. The first thing you need to do is get your Clickbank affiliate link for the Dr Drum software.
This is the link http://XXXX.docdrum.hop.Clickbank.net (you just need to replace the xxxx with your Clickbank I.D so yours will look something like this:

http://youridhere.docdrum.hop.Clickbank.net

2. Now we want to login to your 'cpanel' with the login details that Hostgator will have give you in your welcome email and you will see something like this.

3. Click on Domains - Redirects as in the picture below.

4. select your domain from the list and then enter your Clickbank hoplink into the 'Redirects to' section and click 'ADD'

That's it, your domain will now be redirecting to your Clickbank affiliate link (may take up to 48 hours to start working) which means you can now use a nice short relevant domain to promote with using the next methods I am going to teach you shortly.

Remember you need to TAKE ACTION, if you do nothing today then nothing is going to happen tomorrow BUT if you do take action then you have the ability to change EVERYTHING.... Its all in your hands.

1. Find download forums to dump your fake content in there

2. Register on that forum.

3. Target The traffic you would like to get so add people from UK, CA or USA

4. Add a picture of a girl and Update status.

5. As soon as you get some friends you can start posting status updates saying for example:

6. You can also Spam Facebook Pages adding your download link to all the pages related to your niche.

7. Update your profile daily and keep on adding more US and UK friends.

Method 4: Comics

Online Comics are very popular on the web. A few people use PPD sites to upload them therefore what you can do is:

1. Go to: http://www.lorencollins.net/freecomic/ and download a few comments

2. Create a blogger and create “New entries” about these comics you downloaded and add a download link to your post.

3. To get traffic you can use Digg or 4chan.org

4. For 4chan.org go to the comic section and add a front cover of the comic you downloaded.

5. Add a small description and a download link to get people commenting and downloading it.

4chan.org is the best way to get people to download comics therefore this is highly suggested

Method 5: Widgets

This is my biggest money maker by far, and it’s actually pretty easy to set up. The only reason that this is the most advanced method is because it requires a few things such as website, hosting and some experience in creating a website and making it look decent.

If you can make this method happen you will see a huge amount of downloads.

6. Spam your new niche to Facebook gaming pages or forums.

Method 6: The Lazy Bot

1. Find a Manual Traffic Exchange

2. Register on a Few of them

3. Make a Quick blogger

4. Delete everything in the blogger page except from post content and title

5. Upload a large picture or any small program that is about 1 to 2 mb and name it "Traffic Exchange Bot."

6. Make the title large and the body easy to read.

7. Write that this bot will work on the page you are currently using for manual traffic.

8. Add a download link.

9. Add your Blogger niche to the Manual traffic exchange site

Note: Always make sure you upload it in a .rar compressed folder as it will make it more legit

Note 2: Carry on that site doing manual traffic exchange to get more credits.

Method 7: Exploiting Actuality

Ok, first of all I would like to state that I HATE THIS METHOD as it is actually pretty mean and also is a lack of respect to the people involved. I do not use it but I have tried it nd works better than many other methods.

1. This method is basically about exploiting actuality example: Michael Jackson, Steve Jobs etc..

2. You will be tricking people to download something about them.

3. Find a Dramatic Picture of (The person Involved)

4. Add his life time to the picture example (1955-2011)

5. Create a blogger and add something that will grab people’s attention example: “How Steve Jobs Really Died Unseen Footage” or “Michael Jackson and the mafia behind.”

6. Post your new blogger Niche to Digg and reddit.

Now Again I think making money from people’s death is just heartless and cruel.

But is up to you.

Method8: Dedicate your blog to it

This is quite an advance method as it involves SEO and I will not go into too much detail. People love getting free stuff. Therefore if you have some money to invest:

1. Buy a domain

2. Buy a hosting

3. Create a wordpress

4. Upload some SEO plugins

5. Start posting your free stuff entries example: Free eBooks, How to get …. Free, etc.. Something that you will be interested in, is something that someone out there could be looking for.

Note: Do not spam your domain too much as you will be punished by Google and sent to Google’s sandbox this means that your website will no longer show in Google search
