PRODUCT REVIEW: Bifesta Cleansing Lotion in MOIST

Removing makeup can be a tedious task- one would have to wash his/her face numerous times and/or apply several cleansing products before the makeup products are completely removed. Getting rid of the makeup can also be a nightmare to one who loves applying waterproof makeup products. If you think it is impossible to remove your makeup thoroughly and easily, don't fret because Bifesta Cleansing Lotion has reached the Philippine shore. Bifesta is a Japanese brand that is quite popular for makeup remover products. One of its bestsellers is the Bifesta Cleansing Lotion .

Bifesta Cleansing Lotion is a water-based cleanser/toner that cleanses and nourishes the skin. It claims to be a one step makeup remover as it removes makeup thoroughly without leaving your skin dry or irritated.

I bought the BCL variant in MOIST. This variant:

" contains ceramide-like sibstance (moisturizer) that hydrates skin, leaving it soft all day long and contained hyaluronic acid (moisturizer) that makes skin smoother and brighter."

MOIST is suitable for persons who have normal to dry skin. I have combination oily skin but I don't mind getting this because I want to have hydrated skin.

DESCRIPTION:

Moisturizes dry and sensitive skin
Hypoallergenic

"Its cleansing agent effectively absorbs impurities allowing the easy removal of dead skin cells. Its moisturizing & toning properties make skin soft and smooth. For cleansing and toning, on bottle is all you need. Wipe off with cotton pads. No need to rinse."

DIRECTIONS:

"Wet cotton pad with product (about 2-3 pumps) and wipe the face gently. For heavy makeup users, change cotton and repeat the process until not traces of dirt can be seen. When removing eye makeup, hold the cotton pad against the eye for a while then carefully wipe it off in downward motion to avoid contact with eyes. No need to rinse. Continue to the next regimen. "

WHEN USED EVERY DAY, ONE BOTTLE LASTS FOR 1-1.5 MONTHS.

WHAT I LIKE:

I like that it has a pump with a removable lock. It's quite convenient because you can easily control the amount of product to use.

It doesn't have an overpowering smell. It says on the bottle that it is fragrance-free so it is friendly in the eyes and nose.

It is water-based and easily absorbed by the skin. I can feel my skin being moisturized without the sticky or greasy feeling.

It is hypoallergenic and noncomodogenic.

It removed my foundation easily and I only needed 2 cotton balls.

It also removed my mascara easily compare to my previous makeup removal routine. However, I wasn't using a waterproof mascara so I'm still curious on how this product will perform if I used my Maybelline Magnum Waterproof mascara. (naubos ko na kasi kaya gamit ko ngayon ay yung Maybelline Rocket Mascara na mas madaling tanggalin)

No need to rinse. Bifesta Cleansing Lotion tas tulog agad-agad. haha.

No stingy feeling.

My face felt smooth and hydrated after use.

This is available at Watsons and SM Department Stores. (Don't hesitate to comment if you know other stores that carry this brand.)

It is a versatile makeup remover. You can use it on your face lips, eyes and even body makeup. No need to buy a separate lip and makeup remover.

WHAT I DON'T LIKE:

This is priced at PHP 419. But due to a sale in SM Marikina, I was able to buy it at PHP 377. Personally, I find it quite expensive even for a 300 ml bottle because it claims to last for 1-1.5 months only. In short, kailangan ko to tipirin kung gusto ko to magamit ng mas matagal dahil di ako willing bumili nito buwan-buwan. Taghirap mode. hehe.

The translated description is stuck with the plastic seal. I decided to simply remove the plastic on the pump because I don't want to peel off the entire plastic with the English description. The original bottle contains Japanese description only. Anyhow, it is just a minor nuisance. :P

WAS IT WORTH THE PURCHASE?
I don't usually buy a makeup remover because I am content with my 3-step cleansing routine which is cheaper. However, I find this product a good one to try and experience because, now, I don't have an excuse to sleep with my makeup on. It may be a bit pricey for me and my lifestyle but it is still affordable especially for those who are truly looking for a great makeup remover. I highly recommend you to try it because it can remove makeup with ease and, at the same time, help hydrate and moisturize the skin.

Launching THE BERRY VINTAGE

Hello, everyone! I have been MIA for a few weeks. There's a good reason for that. This summer, I spent my entire vacation helping my parents in our family business. It wasn't easy. It was tiring and there were times I got lazy. But I am proud to say that I did my best to spend time with my parents even if it meant that I had to work with them until 11 pm. YUP! Although I had plans to go out with my friends, co-bloggers, youtubers and even my Quorum sisters, I chose to help my parents instead. Minsan lang to kasi walang pasok e. :)
Having said that, I have reached my goal in making a video that would somehow advertise our business. Last year, I made a simple website for our printing business and took some photos of our invitation and souvenir items. This year I am featuring one of our services, DIGITAL EMBROIDERY. GO DIGITAL. CHOOSE RALMIG. Videography and editing by yours truly. :)

Also, I am very grateful to my Pangga who visited and helped me with my work as often as he could. He is my inspiration. Kinikilig ako kapag sinasamahan ninya ako sa tindahan. hehehe. Madalas siya pa nagsusundo samin ni Mama pauwi kapag late na nakakabalik si Papa. Salamat, Pangga! :)
Anyway, I have been wanting to have a small business. My dad wants me to expand our printing business in the future but, for now, my interest is really on simple, cute and fancy things. Most of all, I love shopping! Kung may pera! Being a frugal person, I love shopping more for business purposes. :)

PRICE: PHP 350* What really interests me with this product line is the long lasting effect of the stain on the lips. I want tinted lips and as much as possible I don't want to wear full and bold lipsticks. I want a lip product that will not fade easily even after drinking and eating. Another good thing about it is that it is a lip balm- it moisturizes your lips. Although it acts as a moisturizer, it is also kiss-proof hence the name kissable lips balm. :)

2. Revlon Color Stay Whipped Creme Foundation

I really want to try this product ever since Laura featured this on her Best Beauty Products of 2012 video. If only I have finished up all my foundation, then I would have bought this right away. My only concern about this product is the packaging because it is made of heavy glass. I had a school mate who wore this in school and it looked great on her lips. She is morena and the peachy color complimented her skin well. It's the closest shade to nude that doesn't make Pinay pale. The shade and texture is wearable and perfect for everyday school makeup. LOVE MATTE! :) 4. Maybelline One By One/Unstoppable Mascara & Eyeliner Kit, 520 Blackest Black Onyx

Good Bye Oily T-zones! I am using foundation powder to mattify my face but it doesn't last long enough through out the day because of the humidity here in the Philippines. I think this product is worth a try because the packaging is really funky and the price is affordable. I saw in a review that it has a pink, heart-shaped sponge. Product Review: James Cooper Kiss Proof Lip Gloss in Nude

Although I've been trying really hard to limit my expenses, I finally gave in and bought myself some makeup. I thought it was not that bad if I buy a new lip color before classes resume in June- new school year, new makeup... charot! hehehe. Anyway, I've been eyeing the Jazzy Collection Kiss Proof Lip Gloss by James Cooper ever since I watched Say's review about it two years ago. OH DIBA??? Ang tagal kong tiniis huwag bumili ng lipstick. Buti na lang either may nagregalo sakin or may nagpadala na mabait na sponsor! (Shout out to Ms. Grace Acuin of The Pinkish Hub!)

Say bought it for PHP 399 but when I visited the James Cooper stall last week, the Kiss Proof Lip Glosses cost only PHP 299 each. I was happy that JC lowered the price, otherwise I wouldn't have bought it. I bought the shade NUDE (LKP-06) which is shockingly not nude. The color is not as vibrant as the other shades though. Yung ibang shade talagang nakakashock... as in eye-catching colors. E hindi naman ako mahilig lumabas. Nagtitinda lang ako sa tindahan namin kaya kailangan kalmadong kulay lang. haha. :P I tried to recreate my dual lip color and it worked great for me because this lip gloss (1) is matte, (2) lasts longer than ordinary lip products and (3) is kiss proof. It is a perfect lip color for my everyday makeup routine!

I applied the lip gloss on my lower lip. Instead of applying the lip gloss sponge on my lips, I transferred a small amount of the product my pinkie finger and lightly dabbed the latter on my lips. Adik ako sa Dual Lip Color!!!

Please don't mind the cracks on my lips. It is normal for that to happen if I'm not smiling because I have natural cracks on my lips. I still love the effect. I love Matte!!! Walang kokontra!!!

WHAT I LIKE:

It is an affordable matte lip color at a price of PHP 299.
It dries in a short amount of time and applies smoothly on my lips. It fills in the gaps on the natural cracks of my lips.
Although I wish it is truly a nude shade, I love how the pigment can appear close to the natural color of my lips. Mauvey shade ang peg!
The packaging provides the ingredients, and manufacturing and expiration dates. It has a shelf life of 3 years.
It is kiss proof once the product completely dries.
The product can last long if you don't eat and drink. It does not fade even if I often bite or touch my lips. This is a better alternative to my Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Port which fades after a few hours even without eating or drinking.
It is accessible in Watsons and SM Department Stores that carry James Cooper. (I bought mine in SM Cubao)

WHAT I DON'T LIKE:

This product line has limited shades. I'm not sure if I want to try the other colors.
If you let your lips get wet especially when you're eating or drinking, the product has the tendency to transfer. I think it is only kiss proof when the product is completely dry.
If you eat and drink a lot, the color will fade in an awful way. You might end up looking like you're wearing a lip liner. If you plan to go to an event, make sure you check your lips for a quick retouch.
The name of the product is quite misleading. It's called a lip gloss but it dries matte. I'm not complaining though because I love matte. :P

IS IT WORTH A PURCHASE?

I am quite happy with my purchase because the color, although not nude, perfectly suits me and the product stays longer than my other matte lippies as long as it stays dry and matte. However, it is not as promising as I thought it would be. It easily transfers when the lips get wet and it fades in an awful way. Remember that the color is very pigmented so just imagine when what remains pigmented is the outer part of your lips. :P Lip liner lang teh??? If you're like me who buys lip products because of the shade more than the long lasting effect, you'll be content with the James Cooper Kiss Proof Lip Gloss. But, performance wise*, you might want to skip this one.

*Tips: Apply a lip primer/concealer or lip balm before application to soften and reduce the cracks on the lips. Also, after applying the first coat but before applying a second coat of the lip gloss, dust a little bit of powder on your lips.

Naniggie: Run Baby Run

Nani and I joined a fun run and we sort of had a matching running shoes. :P I love my new rubber shoes from World Balance. The minty green and gray combination looks absolutely lovely. It's very comfortable to wear as well.

I bought the pair in SM Department Store for PHP 1499.00.

Nani, on the other hand, wore his Nike shoes. He loves NIKE. And I also noticed that he loves the combination of blue and gray. <3

Hi girls. I'm writing a guest entry for Maggie's blog for today. First of I'd like to make a waiver that I'm not a very good writer like her so if the quality of the post is not up to standard with the usual posts in this blog, please understand. I first met Maggie in our theology class in college. She sat beside me (hmmm... bkt kaya? marami naman upuan sa ibang side) but we only started talking when our professor Fr. Giordano (favorite Jesuit ko yan) assigned us a group project. So as our college days went by, we got to know more about each other and everything after that, as what they say, is history.

Maggie is such a sweet girl. She's the most caring and considerate girlfriend I ever had. Nowadays, we're both law students. Yes, it is very stressful but it was both our choice and we are going to grind it out until the end. But what can I say, she really is the better of the two of us. Grabe yan kahit super stressed na yan kakaaral buong gabi she still finds time to bring my favorite food to school (spam and buttered corn yum yum yum).

I also like the weirdness of our relationship. Pareho kasi tayo weird eh. Maggie has this weird habit of making weird sound effects after her sentences haha. That's why I call her theater arts. It's funny but those are actually the things that I miss most when we're not together. I also love the way she calls me at the middle of the night to say "Nani ang baho baho mo, I love you goodnight."

Not everyone can truly and sincerely say this to another person but I can happily say that getting to know Maggie has been the best thing that happened in my life. Words really can't express how much I love you, Mag. The best part about our relationship is that as time goes by, along with the numerous obstacles and challenges in our lives, you're always there at the end of the day to sit beside me and make me smile :)

Pinkish Hub: Kleancolor and Wet n Wild Lipstick

A few weeks ago I received a surprise package from The Pinkish Hub containing three adorable lipsticks. Ms. Grace Acuin, owner of TPH, didn't contact or notify me about it so I was thrilled. In case you're not aware, The Pinkish Hub is an online shop based in the Philippines selling various imported cosmetics which are not available in the local market. I received my Miners Matte Effect Lipsticks from the same shop. I love the lipsticks previously sent to me so I was excited to try my new lipstick babies! :)

Kleancolors Lipstick in Redwood and Pink

I like the packaging. It is not as sophisticated as the Miners Matte Effect Lipstick but the mattified body and transparent cap definitely adds beauty to the packaging. The use of metallic pink to engrave the brand name is really cute too.

Kleancolor is a US cosmetic brand. I haven't heard of it until these lipsticks were given to me. However I tried to research a bit about them and I was quite surprised there is already an FB page for Kleancolor Philippines. I checked the official website and it unbelievably carries a wide variety of cosmetics. Seriously, you should check out their website. I like the fact that the list of ingredients is placed on the tube itself unlike the others in which the list is on the plastic packaging that needs to be peeled off upon usage. This is helpful for those who are keen to look at the ingredients of a product before buying it.

WET N WILD SILK FINISH LIPSTICK in CHERRY FROST

First thing I noticed is that the name on the bottom of the tube indicates a letter-number combination only. Little did I know that it actually has a cute name but it is placed on a peelable plastic. :( Good thing I was able to take pictures or else I might have a difficult time remembering the product code for this shade. :P Anyway, contrary to its name, the color is not really frosty. It is more like a bright cherry red but opaque color. Compare to my other red lipstick, Sophie Martin Lipstick in Russian Red, this one is more bright and has a silkier finish.

The silver packaging looks good too. Its body is divided into metallic silver on top and a mattified silver on the bottom. It also has a transparent cap that shows the color of the lipstick right away.

I checked the album and I think I am in love with these shades: Hollywood Wine, Black Orchid and Dark Pink Frost. I super love the Hollywood Wine. I can't wait to try the Cherry Frost as well. Hindi ko lang magamit sa school kasi busi-busyhan ang peg. Lapit na Finals dahil ang aga ng Holy Week.

Product Review + DEMO: Philips Satinelle HP6400 Epilator

Hello, guys! It's been a while since I posted a review on my blog. I'm quite busy with school because we just had our midterm examination and, unfortunately because of the early holy week, final examination is coming up sooner than expected. Kumusta naman ang sunugan ng kilay diba???
Anyway, I've been meaning to post a review about the epilator that I bought last December but I was only able to make a video review on my youtube channel. After two sessions of epilation, I highly recommend the Philips Satinelle HP6400 Epilator to anyone who wants long lasting smooth legs and/or underarms. If you want to know why, just keep on reading. :)

What I Like:

The box contains relevant information such as epilator's general description, cleaning and maintenance and replacement information. Instructions and guides are very important especially when using this kind of gadget. Improper use may lead to accidents.

It is affordable for PHP 2299. It is not cheap but, for a long term use, this is a great investment. If you're a student like me, kaya-kayang ipunin yan. Tipid-tipid lang para gora na. So far, this is the cheapest epilator in the local market that I've seen. There are probably cheaper ones online but when buying gadgets like this, I prefer seeing and testing the product first before shelling out thousands of pesos. No one wants to go through returns because of unsatisfactory performance of any electronic gadgets. Such process can be tedious. And, yes, the sales lady let me tried the product first on my arm hair before buying the epilator.

It has three features: (1) 2 speed settings, (2) washable epilation head, and (3) fast and efficient epilation system.

The design of the epilator is super chic. It screams SEKSEEEHH! hahaha. LOL The shape makes it easy to grip the epilator while removing the hair.

The epilator is easy to store and very convenient to bring even when it is corded. Travel-friendly!!!

It removes the hair quickly and efficiently. Tip: Do not quickly glide the epilator unto the skin; slowly concentrate on an area for efficient hair removal. But don't stay too long! :) Hindi ito waxing/shaving. Wag agad-agad! Mamadali ang peg???

The epilation head is easy to remove for cleaning and maintenance.

The epilator is very easy to clean because the hair do not get stuck inside the epilation head. The discs release the hair outside so there is less probability of accumulating hair and bacteria on the head itself. I recommend that you wash the epilation head after every use.

It has a long cord so one can epilate with ease. I'm not sure with the exact length though.

It can remove hair as short as 0.5 mm which is really cool. That is great if you're invited for expected events and you need to wear gowns or sleeveless dress. Be hair-free fast, easy, and less messy. Itaas ang kili-kili at iwagayway! Bumabandila? Irampa na rin ang mga legs. Legs, legs, legs, mo ay nakakatunaw! LOL

Epilation can help reduce hair regrowth and make the hair thinner and less visible. Consequently, it can lessen the visibility of chicken skin.

Hair free legs can last up to 3-4 weeks.

It has TWO (2) years warranty.

What I Don't Like:

The product does not come with a pouch or travel kit. It would have been nice to have one.

Worth a purchase?

YES! Say no more to waxing or shaving your legs! You can also use this on your underarms so that's a plus. Just make sure you don't let the discs touch the underarm skin because the discs become hot due to their rapid rotation. Underarms are sensitive to heat which may cause darkening. Do not use it also on broken skin. GET READY FOR SUMMER!

On a side note, I really wish they have a cordless epilator that is as affordable as this one. But I'm very satisfied and happy with my epilator.

Product Review: Miners Matte Effect Lipstick in Fiesta

Ugh.. I can't believe I have not posted this. :P The photos are months old. >_< Nakadraft lang pala siya all this time. :(

I kind of like the shade Fiesta because it is not too bright on my lips. I'm not morena but I don't have a very fair complexion either. It is very difficult to find a pink lipstick that compliments a warm skin complexion so FIESTA is quite a surprise.

What I Like:

The color pay off is quite impressive. I love it! :)

The lipstick covers the lips well. I have lines on my lips and I'm happy that it covers them entirely.

The packaging is lovely- it looks so elegant and the bottom part shows an accurate shade of the lipstick. What you see is what you get.

It smoothly glides on the lips when applied and it is not drying on the lips.

It's relatively affordable at Php 300.

It smells like fruity candy and cherry.

The lipstick lasted for 2-3 hours even after eating and drinking. Tip: To extend the life of your lipstick, blot your lips with tissue after application.

Although Miners Matte Effect Lipstick comes in limited shades, the product line carries unique and wearable colors. This pink lipstick looks good with people who have warm skin tone. Hindi lang pang-mestiza ang pink!

What I Don't Like:

The lipstick tube is not that sturdy. So be gentle with it.

The lipstick has the tendency to be very creamy hence it may break if you don't store it properly. I think the formula for this particular shade is more creamy than the others. Tip: I accidentally broke this lipstick while applying it on my lips but I fixed it by melting the broken parts, placing them together and letting them chill in the freezer.

The brand is not locally available. So make sure you order from a trusted seller! Buy from The Pinkish Hub.

Product Review: Mimididi 3D Diamond Powder Eyeshadow in No. 25

A few months ago, KKcenterHK sent me products to try out. They are one of the popular and leading online stores based in Hongkong. I bet you've heard about them before from other Pinay bloggers because of their amazing false eyelashes. That being said, I was totally surprised when they emailed me. One of the things they sent me was this gorgeous shimmery eyeshadow: the Mimididi 3D Diamond Powder Eyeshadow in No. 25.

I honestly have not tried working with vibrant colors in the past because I thought they didn't look good on my eyes. I was content using my neutral eye shadows so I was skeptical to try other shades. However, when KKcenterHK gave me an opportunity to choose the shade I want to try, I grabbed the chance to try out a sparkling red orange eye shadow. I was totally sold when I saw the picture of one of the bloggers who has used it.

What I like:

The packaging is simple. Although it is made in plastic, it's still durable.

The intensity of the color is buildable.

The pigmentation is great even when I don't apply a primer.

The packaging includes a mirror and an applicator.

The color last the day. Note: I have oily lids.

The shimmery particles can be very intimidating at first but it is surprisingly blendable.

What I don't like:

The application can be messy because of the glitter fallout. Tip: Do your eye makeup first before applying foundation. Or you can use tissue underneath the lower lid of your eyes to catch the glitters.

It has a grainy texture upon application. Good thing it doesn't stay that way when blended. :P

DIY: Bag Hook

Hello, everyone!

I just want to share with you this quick and easy DIY. You can use this not just to organize your bags but other accessories as well such as scarfs and belts. It's a really great idea for conserving space in your room.

Materials used:

Over the Door Hook - Php 40 Circular Rings- Php 18 for set of 5

All items were bought from National Bookstore. I was lucky to get the last stock of the "over the door hook" in NBS, Cubao. In case you can't find any in other NBS branch, you may look for this in hardware or home depot stores (or even in Daiso or Japan surplus, I think). They usually carry items like this. The circular rings, on the other hand, can be bought generally on bookstores. They are used mainly as ring binds. You may get bigger rings if you want.

Just open the clasp, place the bag and secure it by closing the clasp again.

Fanny Serrano Two Way Cake Foundation New Packaging

Fanny Serrano has heard our long time prayer!!!

No more flippin' the cap to look in the mirror!

All the two way cake foundations have this packaging except for two shades. Silk is one of the two. (I forget the last one). But I think FS is just finishing off the old stocks before releasing the new packaging of the remaining shades. I LOVE THE NEW PACKAGING! Another good news is that you can buy refills once you finish up the foundation. Apparently, you can't buy refills for the old packaging. :P Anyway, I need a new one since the cap of my old foundation is broken (which is the very reason I hated the old packaging). :P hehehe.

Fanny Serrano Cosmetics is truly stepping up in the local cosmetic industry. I can't find any reason why a Filipina would not like to try this brand. You can buy them individually or create your own palette. :) THE MATTE EYESHADOWS ARE SIMPLY GORGEOUS. Isa lang muna binili ko kasi nagtitipid ako. Kilala ko din kasi sarili ko na hindi ko hilig magE/S but I'm sure I have several readers who are the real makeup junkies so here are some photos.

Product Review: Maybelline The Falsies Waterproof Formula

Hehe. I tried to make a Video Review. :P

What I like:

It is affordable. I bought this for less than Php 500. I wanted to try the Magnum Mascara which was cheaper (with a 20% discount at that time) but I've read a lot of reviews about The Falsies so I opted to buy it. Still cheaper than other drugstore mascara though. ^__^

It gives amazing volume and length on my lashes. I have extremely short lashes but this mascara made them stand out.

It doesn't have a strong smell.

It doesn't weigh down my lashes despite the number of coats I make. I tested it first without using my eyelash curler and it surprisingly made my eyelashes curled up; made less effort to curl my lashes.

The packaging provides an instruction on how to get a maximum result. I love how my lashes turned out after application.

It is widely accessible. I bought mine in SM Marikina. Make sure to check it out during their monthly sales. Baka makadiscount pa kayo sa mascara. :)

What I don't like:

It is difficult to remove with regular facial cleanser and water. Tip: To remove mascara residue, you can use baby oil or any makeup remover that you have.

It is not really the False Lashes Effect that I was looking for but considering how short my lashes are, I think this product did a good job. One thing that made me buy this was that the saleslady was using this and her lashes looked so good. But maybe it was because she had longer lashes in the first place. :P

Is it worth the purchase? YES! I totally love it. I've been an avid user of Maybelline Mascara and so far this is the best I've tried. I attended another church wedding. Isa na lang talaga maiinggit na ako. CHARRR! hehehe.

Siyempre eto na naman ako sa isang FOTD na pinamagatang... kailangang pa bang imemorize yan??? hahaha! Same old makeup routine but I did use new products. :P I guess I love applying makeup products that I'm comfortable with rather than trying tons of products that I probably won't use everyday. For me, it is important to own makeup products that you can use anywhere, anytime and for any occasion. In short, di lang talaga ako magaling magmake up kaya I stick to the routine that I know would make me look decent. LOL. :P

On a side note, I refuse to believe wearing makeup is for high maintenance girls. Nagmake up lang HM agad-agad??? lol The beauty of wearing makeup is learning the look that suits well on a girl's face. I don't have the money to attend makeup classes or the luxury of hiring professional MUA every time I attend special events. Applying my own makeup pushed me to learning and appreciating my physical appearance. Moreover, I discover products that work well on my skin. Atsaka, di ba nila alam meron tayong tinatawag na 5-minute makeup routine? O keber diba? Iba diyan ilang oras mag-ayos kahit di nagmemakeup.

Product Review: Pinkies Collection Eye Shadow in Skin Tone

What I like:

The packaging is simple and convenient. I always bring this in my makeup kit. :)

The shade SKIN TONE is a matte nude color. I am glad I finally have a nude eye shadow that I can wear everyday. You can include this in creating your own Pinkie Swear neutral palette. Simply buy four shades and you get the palette box for free. *Tip: This is a great Christmas gift idea for your girlies! :)

The shade can be used to contour the nose.

The product is affordable. I bought it for Php 70. Shimmery Pinkie Swear eye shadows cost Php 75 while the matte ones cost Php 70.

I am not into complicated eye makeup (with all the blending of colors and stuff like that) so this shade is perfect for on-the-go makeup.

What I don't like:

I noticed that when I applied the product on my eyelid, it appeared darker than expected. The shade is lighter when applied on the arm.

One has to use an eyelid primer to avoid the eye shadow from creasing or to simply make the product last all day long.

Is it worth the purchase?
Absolutely!!! I'll definitely repurchase this product as soon as I finish the one I bought. It is a good shade on its own so I'm satisfied in using it as my everyday eye makeup color. It goes perfectly with my "no-makeup" makeup look. :P If you're looking for affordable eye shadows, I highly recommend you to try the brand. PINKIES COLLECTION IS FORMERLY KNOWN AS PINKIE SWEAR. FOTD: A Magical Wedding Event

Last week, I attended Nani's sister's church wedding. The newly wed couple already had a civil marriage last year, 11-11-11, but having a church wedding made their love story more magical. We got to know more about the couple and their families. And it was truly a great experience for me since it was my first time to be part of the entourage. I was so excited to share the wonderful evening with Nani's sister, Ate Rachelle, and her husband, Kuya Nikko. I couldn't explain how inspired I became when they finally declared their vows. Super Kilig talaga. :) Ate Rachelle and Kuya Nikko are both lawyers and they met in San Beda College of Law during their freshmen years. They are truly inspirations to law student couples. :) SEE!!! Relationship is not a hindrance in law school. hehe. <3 Anyway, here's a sneak peek of their wedding trailer and wedding slideshow.
Now a wedding event is a very special ceremony. Since I was one of the secondary sponsors, I wanted to look polished and appropriate. I was having second thoughts whether or not I would ask for a professional help with my makeup. I didn't want to be disappointed with my makeup. First of all, I have uneven folds on my eyelid. Typical application of eyeliner would look horrible on me. Secondly, since I have uneven folds, my eyes don't look symmetrical. Certain eyeshadow colors emphasize that. Lastly, I don't like full coverage makeup. I had several bad experiences with salon MUAs so I decided to be my own make up artist. Char lang diba???

Me and my beautiful Mom. :) I love her very much. She's the strongest woman I've ever known.

My mom never had the confidence to tell herself that she's beautiful but I believe she is. She's the most beautiful person I have ever known. She is a CPA but when she got married she gave up her career to take care of her children. And now, she helps my dad with our family business to support our studies. I love my mom. I can't imagine my life without her. I feel like a big part of me will die if that's gonna happen. hehe. :) My mom suffered from Bell's Palsy when I was little. And five years ago, she had undergone surgery for a heart bypass because of Aortic Aneurysm. Even now I can't believe she went through all that. I pray that on my wedding day, she and dad will walk me down the aisle. :) For that, I'll be the happiest bride. :)
