Here is a video that I wanted to share with you long ago, back from the time we were visiting Victoria last summer. We didn't really do it on any purpose, it all started because Arthur wanted to test the video quality with his new lens. Almost a year after we finally put it together and here it is! I know the way I walk and looked at the camera was super awkward since it was my very very first time, but after all I still love it a lot for recording our memories from last summer.

It was actually an outfit for a family dinner, I decided to wear something simple and fresh to meet some of my parents' friends, and it turned out to be an outfit full of pastel colours, even the dark mint wall at the back.

Took these pictures at downtown Calgary. I heard it was so rare to have such warm weather in the mid of April when you are able to wear short skirt with bare legs. Even it's so windy, I guess we were so lucky!

Time for update some trip photos as I already got back to work. I believe it was still freezing cold in the mountains while most of the northern hemisphere is celebrating the coming of summer. This was my favourite outfit during my trip of spring break, sometimes it was just surprisingly amazing when you wasn't plan to dress up and pull all the random stuffs together, all because it was so cold =P

I guess despite all the weather conditions, wearing some oversized tops with short bottom pieces will always be my favourite. When I first saw this jacket from choirs.com I didn't really know the material is going to be a pretty formed nylon and it actually gives the jacket a future kinda feel. That's why I paired it with a Juun J oversized tee, now I am sure I look like some characters from a science fiction movie =)

We stopped at Banff again this time on our way, even though we visited here last year. I guess we didn't really had excuse to ignore the amazing winter view here. Standing on the ice it feels like someone turned off the clock of the whole world and I just wish this moment would last forever.

Going on road trips is always something Arthur and I would love to do, especially when the weather gets warmer. So glad to have my first vacation of the year in this beautiful spring and this time we are planning a little further, that we are heading to Edmonton in two days. Rainy Day

People call this city I live Raincouver since it rains almost half of the time during the year, well, I have to say if you want all the good parts living in this amazing city, the rain is something you have to take at the same time, especially at this time of the year when the wet season is almost over, follows the best times, the sun, the beach, the mountain, the nice foods, the music.

I really enjoy mixing and matching during raining days in spring since I can still have some wintery pieces on the top and summery ones on the bottom.

I used to love dress in black outfits with a little grey and white through out the year even it was in summer, until probably last year I started to add more spring pastel colours into my wardrobe. And it was the first time ever in my life I dressed in this completely white outfit with some of my favourite pieces like sweaters, shorts and platforms.

Vancouver Fashion Week Day2

I don't really know which designer started to make pajama shirts go on the street and turned it into the most "it" fashion trend at the moment. So many underwear-liked fashion pieces hit on the stage during the fashion weeks and it finally convinced me to actually wanna have one of my own pajama-liked shirt and try to put it with my ordinary outfits. and it actually turned out to make it a cute outfit!

This beautiful lace romper comes from a cute australian website called "My Mum Made It". The reason made me really wanted to collaborate with them is that all the garments are made of natural or recycled fabrics and they are all original. I always love to do some little DIY projects like altering some vintage piece into new wardrobe favourites and I wish I had the talent as well as enough patience to actually turn a piece of fabric into a garment that I really want. but My Mum Made It did it! and what's even better is that they gave new lives to the vintage fabrics by turning them into these lovely eco friendly pieces!

Trip Portland Photo Diary

Sorry for not posting anything for the past week since I have been super busy with work and didn't really have time to share these photos from my Portland trip, but here they are!

Seeing these photos are the only thing that can comfort me from intense working schedule at the moment and makes me really want to travel again soon. In the last couple of hours we spent in Portland, we took a walk around the downtown area, had the most delicious donuts and visited the shrine of all the shoe lovers: the Solestruck store! I loved every part of the city and really wished we could stay longer, promise I will come back and visit soon!

downtown suit room

It's probably the most romantic thing I can imagine, to go on a road trip with the guy you love and stay in the downtown hotel room he has booked weeks in advance for valentine's day, with beautiful tiffany blue sofa and crystal lamp in the suit. I am so lucky that this is really happening, thanks for everything my babe boy! <3

early spring

It was almost the same time last year that we visited this arty city, we stayed for only one night and for some reason the room we booked online was not available so we were transferred to another location that was 20 minutes driving from downtown Portland. And that's why I am so excited this time since we are staying longer and with this local shopping guide I borrowed from my friend Cherry, we finally get a chance to not only go to the beautiful places in downtown but also spend some time visit some nice vintage shops and bars like a local.

Since it was a little warmer than Van city, I decided to have some bold colour and patterns for our day tour in the early spring. Putting dress pants and blazers and casual baseball cap and lace socks can be fun!
