The Best Website Builders

2012-01-04T14:24:00.001-08:00

Moving fast in the web development space, Microsoft introduced both a website building tool for neophytes and the third major version of its MVC (Model View Controller) technology.
Web Matrix is "a new tool to make it easier for people to build websites," said Microsoft's Brian Goldfarb, director of web platform and tools. Geared for students and new developers, WebMatrix is a text-based tool for writing code.
The free tool supports ASP.Net and PHP development. You can write applications like a Facebook Like button or a Twitter search capability, you can also start from the beginning and design you own.
http://www.microsoft.com/web/webmatrix/

Web Matrix, however, lacks more specialized capabilities of Microsoft's Visual Studio IDE, such as debugging. "People get started with WebMatrix, and when and if they're ready, they can begin using Visual Studio to take advantage of more advanced features," Goldfarb said.
Developers can start with an open source application, such as WordPress, Joomla or DotNetNuke, and use WebMatrix to download and configure these applications. Also, tools are provided for building a website, including a web server, database and framework.

Upcoming Technology 2012

2012-01-02T12:56:00.000-08:00

Ultra books are coming, super thin laptops that are less exspensive and make a definate statement are right around the corner and due in 2012. IBM announced computerized mind reading was just around the corner - after 2017, that is.

Apple's iMessage and other apps will let customers message each other for free, there will be little reason to pay $10 to $50 per month for a text-message bundle. Verizon also cut its unlimited data plan, while AT&T introduced a plan to throttle the speed of its heaviest users.

In January we may be expecting the Ice Cream Sandwhich
Update for android to i-phone and i-pad. i-pad 3 is on the way with a higher resolution screen, and possibly improved camera.
Steve Jobs last project is coming, Apple HDTV is on the way for 2012.
Also QuickBooks for Mac 2012 is out.

Automakers have projected an increase in sales next year. And that same low-rate environment has also kept down yields on checking and savings accounts, according to rate-tracking sites. DepositAccounts.com and Bankrate.com

Consumer elctronics are likely to drop as new items are released early this year. A 40" Tv is likely that the average price will drop to less than $500.

Hackers - your Blackberry and iPhone

2011-12-31T20:35:00.000-08:00

With technology at a new peak you have to know whats around you. It's a great thought to be aware. Careful with your information, for example more smartphones populate our pockets, look for more hackers to target your Blackberry and iPhone.“Smartphone owners are increasingly paying a high price for free mobile applications, with 2012 set to be a disruptive year of widespread mobile hacking,” Dr. Jeffrey Voas, whose research has found malware in more than 2,000 free smartphone apps, told FoxNews.com.

Adjacent to this is be weary giving your info out online to website that sends it into a lending network. It often leaks to people you don't want to have it especially when regarding financial information. Adverse effects of information leaks and fraud.I would never consider giving important information to anyone but paypal or name brand merchants.

A Great Way to moniter the safety of your identity, credit score, or financial stability online.
It's easy to take a moment and check it out.

I Highly recommend to use paypal mostly when you're unsure or casually shopping online. I personally thought it totally made the checkout process convenient and safe.

Hot Topics of 2011

2011-12-31T13:15:00.001-08:00

What was great of 2011, or what could have been?

- Best of Technology 2011

Tablet mania was all the rage. The tablet that buzzed was Motorola Mobility's XOOM.
Microsofts next gen of table-top computer is impressive, with a 40-inch HD 1080p touch-screen for great Web surfing, the top is coated with Cornings rugged Gorilla glass. Samsung SUR40 also has something called PixelSense, technology that gives LCD panels the power to see without the use of cameras.

Going Green was a major movement in 2011 and is destined to grow in 2012. Cars now go green and run lighter on our enviornment to slow pollution and gas use. We all may choose to use green products, use online billing, commute alternatively, and save energy. Our Us Government provided substantial rebates to homeowners who installed energy-saving for their homes. Even our light bulbs will be changed in the future..

- Our World

2011 marked the end of the war in Iraq. A war that cost not only the US, but Iraq deeply as well. Great injustices are amongst those who are free, always. 2011 was the first year I have seen my brother home in ten years, almost as it were before. For ten years we sought retribution for the atrocities of that fateful September day that I still remember so vividly, almost like a dream.

Millions cried for Japan on March 11, 2011. Our world watched nearly helplessly as our planet earth showed the honest power and unpredictability of our surroundings. We were shown that we are never completely in control.

It was a notably sad year for the people of Thailand who were beat down again and again by the forces that overtook their country by a coupe.

- Best Music

Katy Perry, Adele, Rianna, Jay Z, Kanye West, Jennifer Lopez, Black Eyed Peas, Tayler Swift, and RadioHead all rocked us with great new Music in 2011.

Employers are rolling employee wellness programs to promote healthy living. The Health Care Reform Act passed in 2010 included funding for wellness programs for small businesses. USA Social Security has found no easy fix to the upcoming budget crunch predicted in the next 30 years. Our Countries Deficit Grows Exceedingly beyond thought.

Thought for they day: Never give up, because thats what winners do.
