February 2, 2024 - Day 36

Dear Readers,

Four years had passed from the last time i updated you regarding things happening to me, to my career, business and life. I am now managing full time my 5 online stores through platform Lazada, Shoppee and Tiktok. Though, competition in this field is very tough to a person like me. I am a Business Person but i am shy to face camera with crowds so mostly my sale comes from Offline Selling Store instead of Live selling.

Btw, i closed my Trading Business already due to Pandemic as it hit me too hard, No sales at all but inquiries too many, i am only wasting time accepting queries but in the end no sales to be concluded. Tough but it is the reality of life.

Just 2 months ago, we had visited Hongkong & Macau again. The country were too expensive to compare from 10 years ago. 10 years ago you can enjoy a Starbucks at only 4hkd per Grande now the inflation went up more than 500 times the past 10 years. This is too much increased if you would calculate it in economic wise. As Hongkong & Macau economy were somehow stable even with Pandemic outbreaks

The market is backed fully in shape now after COVID-19 outbreaks. Let's pray this type of disasters or outbreaks will never be seen again in the next 100 years or more...

Will talk more once i have something important to share and discuss with you!

Russia's COVID-19 vaccine 'ready,' says officialRussia plans to start mass production of vaccine against novel coronavirus in August

MOSCOW

Russia’s first vaccine against the novel coronavirus is ready, a government official said on Tuesday.

Ruslan Tsalikov, the first deputy defense minister, said two groups of volunteers have successfully completed clinical trials, with all of them having “built up immunity.”

“At the time of discharge, all the volunteers, without exception, built up immunity to the coronavirus and felt well. Thus, the first domestic vaccine against a new coronavirus infection is ready,” he said in an interview with AiF newspaper.

The vaccine, he said, was jointly developed by the Gamaleya National Research Centre for Epidemiology and Microbiology and the Main Military Clinical Burdenko Hospital.

Tsalikov added that the Russian military has “significant scientific potential and extensive experience” in vaccine development, citing as an example its contributions to developing a vaccine against the Ebola virus.

Production approval in August

Russian companies may get the go-ahead for mass production of the COVID-19 vaccine by August, another official said.

Kirill Dmitriyev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), said the next phase of clinical trials will end on Aug. 3, after which the third phase will be launched in Russia, Turkey, the UAE, and Africa.

“We expect approval from regulatory bodies in the Russian Federation in August, and immediately after that we plan to start mass production at the sites of the RDIF’s R-Pharm and Alium companies. We expect approval in other partner countries in September,” he said in a statement.

The official said Russia aims to produce 200 million doses of the vaccine by the end of the year in partnership with five other countries, which he did not name.

According to Dmitriyev, 30 million doses will be made in Russia and the rest in the other countries.

He added that Russia also plans to produce the vaccine being jointly developed by the Oxford University and pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca.

The Russian vaccine will be delivered together with a unique patented test that identifies special antibodies in the human body that attack the crown-like spikes of the coronavirus, the official said.

“I was myself inoculated with the Russian vaccine. I developed a stable immunity after 20 days, before getting the second maintenance dose, which should extend the immunity to two years,” he said.

Meanwhile, the daily figure of new coronavirus cases in Russia remained below 6,000 on Tuesday.

As many as 5,842 more infections raised the country’s total count to 783,328, with fatalities now over 12,500 and recoveries exceeding 562,000.

March 18, 2020 - Day 36

Dear Readers,

Everyone's in the world is panicking about the worldwide outbreak of Coronavirus or COVID-19. Businesses is closing down temporarily due to the current situation, only health and services, pharmaceuticals, supermarkets, groceries store, wet and dry markets are open but still limited and depending on the owners capabilities to withhold and fight the risk of contracting virus.

The market is vulnerable now due to CORONAVIRUS outbreaks and my business were really affected by it however last night, I received a good news from my client from Nigeria that he had completed the NAFDAC registration to market La Buena brands for Tomato Paste, Canned Sardines, Vegetable Oils and Spaghetti Pasta. With this news, I am hoping that before the end of the month KSM GENERAL ENTERPRISE, would enter the market of Nigeria and Benin in a situation that we knows that it will boom within the market because it is FOODSTUFFS that is now needed worldwide.

Let's pray that everything will be backed to normal and all matters will be resolved in God's name, Amen!

Will talk more once i have something important to share and discuss with you!

UAE at Ramadan Holiday

2016-07-05T14:21:00.001+04:00

Dear All,

In UAE, it is confirmed that Eid Al Fit'r will start on July 6 to July 9 celebrating the moonlight sighting for Ramadan celebration. Everyone is busy preparing themselves how to celebrate the occasion especially our Muslim brothers/sisters. While expatriates are also happy that they have time to relax and be out of the office and stress for short period of time.

But, everyone is also worried how they can enjoy the vacation with the current weather in UAE which already reached to it's almost maximum Humidity outside.

For me, being in UAE for 10 years i got myself used with this kind of weather during this months.

So, everyone who have the privilege to catch a 4-days holiday, enjoy the heat and have fun outside.

EID MUBARAK TO ALL...

Weather in UAE & Ramadan Celebration

2014-07-11T14:02:00.003+04:00

This 2014 Year weather in UAE is a bit more humid and hot. Summer had started earlier than expected which makes the Ramadan more tougher than ever. I myself is getting furious everyday as you cannot even go out from home due to bad weather that is not tolerable at all.

All our Muslim brothers are celebrating their month fasting to worship their beliefs. I as an expatriate who has been living in this country for almost 8-years has seen many changes starting from it's people. Nowadays even Ramadan time is getting more open for others. Many tourism will enjoy the openness of the country to accommodate visitors to spend more time during it's Summer season.

Will try to give you more information as much as possible, so if there is anything you need to know further about the country. Feel free to drop me any comments.
