SilentSender.com is working on a third upgrade to its wildly popular anonymous email services. World renowned for providing total anonymity to the repressed, the fearful and those just wishing to keep would-be-snoopers out of their business, SilentSender.com remains the premier service on the WEB for sending and receiving anonymous email.

Last year, services we expanded to include the ability to reply to anonymous messages and maintain a back-and-forth communication between sender and recipient while protecting the identities of both parties. Also, a new "Widget" was created so that website and blog owners can add the site's anonymous email service to their own websites, in order to receive anonymous feedback and comments from their readers.

In the coming upgrade, there will be several new services offered along with refinements of the existing services and fixes for several know bugs. Some of those refinements and fixes are below:

1. Verify Email - users will be able to check the validity of an email address before sending a message. Users will be alerted to bad email addresses and working email addresses.

2. "Pay for" Subject - the standard (fixed) subject line, "You have a secret waiting for you at SilentSender.com" can be replaced by a series of pre-defined subjects with the ability to add custom text. For example, one option is to choose "<blank> is cheating on you!" Users can replace <blank> with custom text (the name of a person). The option to customize subjects increases the likelihood the recipient will read the message since the subject line contains information or knowledge that is personal, looking less like SPAM and more like a legitimate message. The service will cost $2.00 to add a custom subject line. Users can opt-out and use the standard subject line for free.

Tracking Number Update

3. Tracking Number update - the tracking number that is displayed to retrieve and check the status of messages will include three new functions: email the tracking number, print the tracking number and bookmark the tracking number. This means no more having to write down your tracking number the old fashioned way. A big improvement.

4. Bugs & Fixes - several bugs in the retrieval process are being addressed. Currently the "reply" function is active when both sending and receiving messages. This often confounds users as they accidentally hit the reply button when checking the status of a message which actually deletes the message or fouls up the message retrieval process for the recipient. Several other bugs in the "pay for" reply process are being addressed.

We are pretty excited here, at SilentSender.com. After three and a half months of development and hard work we can finally put our feet up and enjoy the view. Our website has been upgraded to include some new and exciting capabilities including a refreshed look as well as smoother functionality.

NEW: The ability to receive anonymous email.

The site's original function was strictly limited to being able to send notification emails only. This meant that a sender could relay a message by inputting the recipients email address along with a short message. The recipient would get an email notifying them that a message was waiting for them. The recipient would come back to the site and retrieve their message, after which, it was deleted.

The new function allows the recipient to now respond to the messages they pick-up at the site. After a message was been read, the recipient can now hit a reply button and respond to the the sender. The system maintains the same level of security and no threads (conversation) are preserved. Each response is treated like the any other message. It is automatically deleted after it is read or after 7 days, whichever occurs first.

NEW: Senders and Recipients have the ability to check the status of their messages.

Originally, the sender would never get a tracking number. Only the recipient would get a tracking number to retrieve their message. Now, both senders and recipients get tracking numbers after each volley (each message sent/replied to). At any time after a message has been sent, the user can use their tracking number to check the status of their message. It is now possible to know if the message was picked-up, the message was replied to or the message expired. This is a feature we wanted to build into the original system but could not due to some technical difficulties. Users will be especially appreciative of this new function since it will give them some idea if their message was retrieved.

NEW: Powered By: SilentSender.com Widget

We have developed a new widget that can be installed on your blog or webpage that allows you (the site owner) to receive anonymous messages/comments/input from your users through the SilentSender.com's proprietary messaging system. This is a great new feature because users will enjoy using a trusted third-party instead of the "so-called" anonymous commenting functions built into certain website and blogs. Those that desire to collect anonymous research data (via anonymous responses) or wish to provide anonymous messaging services outside the closed loop of their host, ISP or software environment can now offer their users true anonymous messaging capabilities. It has been recently cited that AARP stands to financially benefit from Obamacare to the tune of approximately billions of taxpayer dollars.

AMAC's membership has been growing rapidly since recent inception and is quickly overtaking registered members of AARP. Citizens of 50 (which include the 'boomer' generation) may be the most influential voter block in the 2012 elections and in later years as concerns about Medicare, Social Security, prescription medication costs and long-term support of seniors and their daily lives remains serious issues for older citizens. The head of the Democratic National Committee, Florida U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, is standing by a Jewish-outreach aide who was thrust into the limelight last week by a Facebook post where she joked about Jews by referring to them as “Jewbags.”

Democratic sources started leaking stories that hiring aide, Danielle “Dani” Gilbertat exposed a rift within President Barack Obama’s campaign since top officials at the Obama campaign and the DNC objected to the appointment because they already had a Jewish-outreach coordinator.

Wasserman Schultz also disputed the anonymous sources by stating “I don’t know what they’re talking about,” Wasserman Schultz said, criticizing “those famous anonymous sources that never have the nerve to actually say what they’re saying — make accusations on the record.”

The sources implied Wasserman Schultz was putting her own personal politics and relationships before the interests of the DNC when she hired Gilbert, the daughter of major Democratic donor Mark Gilbert of Boca Raton, FL.

Wasserman Schultz said all the gossip hasn’t damaged her relationship with the Obama campaign. She said she is in contact “a few times a week” with Obama campaign manager Jim Messina.

Jake England And Alvin Watts Arrested On Anonymous Tip

Police arrested Jake England and Alvin Watts, 32, about 2 a.m. Sunday at a home in Turley, just north of Tulsa after acting on an anonymous tip.

The two men were arrestsed in connection with a shooting spree that left three people dead. Initials reports from police state that it appears the two men picked their victims at random. All victims of the shooting rampage were black. Police believe that one of the shooters may have been acting out a revenge plot for the shooting death of his father by a black man two years prior.

Police are still trying to confirm if the rapage was racially motivated, but it appears that revenge is so far the most likely motive. A friend of England's said "If anybody is trying to say this is a racial situation, they've got things confused," and that "He didn't care what your color was. It wasn't a racist thing."

Trayvon Martin "Banged" George Zimmerman's Head Off Footpath According To Anonymous Source

An anonymous source cited that Trayvon Martin grabbed Mr George Zimmerman's head and banged it repeated times against a footpath; according to the The Orlando Sentinel. Police said the newspaper's story is "consistent" with evidence handed over to prosecutors.

In the highly controversial news story, the facts surrounding the night Trayvon Martin was shot have remained murky and unclear, except for corroborating testimony from witnesses that suggests Martin was the aggressor during the scuffle and not Mr. Zimmerman as being claimed by Martin's family, media and national civil rights figureheads.

A recently released CCTV video shows Mr. Zimmerman exiting a police squad car shortly after the event with no "visible" injuries. Lawyers for the Martin family are pointing to this as a red herring in the case against Mr. Zimmerman, stating that it proves Trayvon wasn't the aggressor and that Mr. Zimmerman's testimony is false or embellished.

Mr. Zimmermn remains free as authorities continue to piece together what happened that night the 17 year-old youth was shot. As more facts come to light, racial tensions around the country continue to heat-up while the true facts of that fateful night have yet to be been revealed.

Sierra Lamar Cell Phone Recovered

Police have recovered the cell phone of 15-year-old Sierra Lamar who disappeared early Friday on her way to school. The cell phone was found in a field a couple miles from her home in Morgan Hill, California, KTVU-TV reported. Authorities located the phone Sunday by pinging it.

Sierra was last seen leaving for school Friday morning. K-9 units have been searching for the girl but lost her scent at the driveway of her home, according to the police. Investigators searched the surrounding countryside over the weekend for any clues that might lead to Lamar.

"We're hoping she's alive and that's the most important thing right now," the girl's mother, Marlene Lamar, told KTVU. Sierra Lamar is approximately 5-feet, 2 inches tall, with brown hair, last seen carrying a pink and black handbag.

Her sister, Danielle Lamar, said she doesn't think her sister ran away. "She's always in contact with family and friends. She wouldn't leave everyone out of the loop," Danielle Lamar said.

That's the scoop according to football officienado Mike Florio, via an anonymous tip. Well maybe not 'traded', but imminently traded. Wild rumors and speculation surround the potential retention of Tebow if Peyton Manning doesn't sign with the Denver Broncos. If Manning is signed, Tebow will undoubetedly be traded.

Before Florio's report, speculation abound that if Manning didn't come to Denver, he may mentor Tebow. Manning allegedly a fan of Tebow, proclaimed his adoration for the young quarterback in 2010 when he said to Gator Sports, "Any NFL team would be lucky to have Tim Tebow."

The flip side to this is if Tebow stayed, there would still be no certainty that he'd ever be kind of NFL quarterback that Elway would want for Broncos. However, Tebow improved tremendously last season and revved-up the team and brought the Bronco's fans to a frenzy game after game. This may all be a moot point since the Bleacher Report states the obvious; that the Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals look like the prime contenders in a race for Manning.

Abreeya Brown and Ashley Conaway Missing After Mystery Text Message

Abreeya Brown, 18, and her friend, Ashley Conaway, 22 sent of a desperate text message from the car trunk of their kidnappers around 10:00 PM Tuesday night. The messages ceased after an hour with a final chilling message saying, "Help us. They got us." It's believed that three men were involved in the incident and are in custody. Police are also investigating a burned-out car in Detroit that matches the getaway vehicle, a gray or silver Chrysler Concorde-like car. Bullet holes were found perforating the vehicle, but no bodies were discovered at the scene.

"Some people on the east side reported hearing shots," Hamtramck Detective George Voight said.

The disappearance occurred around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday when Brown and Conaway were abducted from a car outside a house by two armed men. When police arrived at the scene Tuesday night, Brown's vehicle was still running with the car doors open. Her handbag was on the ground and both women were missing. At least two dozen bullet holes pierced the front of the house.

Police stated that Brown and Conaway were forced into the trunk of a car by men while exchanging gunfire with one of the abductors.

Billionaire Warren Buffett announced to Berkshire Hathaway shareholders that the company has an individual in mind to replace him at some point in the future, but is declaring that he has no specific plans to leave anytime soon.

Mr. Buffett shared a few new details regarding Berkshire's succession plan in a letter to shareholders Saturday. Investors have expressed concern for years about who will replace Mr. Buffett as CEO in the future.

Buffett isn't naming the successor, instead keeping his pick secret and anonymous for now. But he stated that the Berkshire board is excited about the executive he has picked. Buffett claims there are two good back-up candidates, who also remain anonymous.

Up until now, Buffett had said only that the board had three internal candidates for the role of CEO.

The company has also cleared up some succession concerns by employing two hedge fund managers. Mr. Buffett says those two have the "brains, judgment and character" to manage Berkshire's entire portfolio eventually. It is not certein when Mr. Buffett or Berkshire Hathaway's Board of Directors will release the names of the prospective successors.

McKeyeious Edwards Missing Since Friday Night

The Atlanta Police Department are desperately seeking the public’s assistance in locating a Crawford Long Middle School student who disappeared sometime Friday evening.

Police said the mother of 12-year-old McKeyeious Edwards said her son did not return home after school. He’d asked whether he could spend the night with a friend but was told he couldn’t.

Police spokesman Officer John Chafee said authorities were “actively investigating this incident.” He said McKeyeious was last known to be in the area of Pegg Road, Baxter Road, Metropolitan Parkway and Cleveland Ave. on Friday around 6:00pm to 7:00pm. He was known to be wearing a red hoodie and has a Mohawk haircut.

Delric Miller, 9-Month-Old Gunned Down

Detroit Police are hunting for suspects in the shooting death of a 9-month-old Detroit boy. Authorities are looking for two men described as "cold-blooded killers". Apparently, the suspects opened fire on the boy's home with an AK-47 assault rifle. The front of the home was riddled with 37 bullets. Approximately 10 people were inside at the time of the shooting.

Nine-month-old Delric Miller IV was the only fatality of the drive-by shooting early Monday on Detroit's west side, according to Fox affiliate WJBK-TV. A $5,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to the arrest of the suspects.

According to local authorities, Sponseller's car is not missing. He was reported missing by a family member Saturday night.

The S.C. hospitality association is a major player acting as a key trade association for restaurants, motels, resorts, inns and nightclubs. Sponseller is the hospitality industry’s chief lobbyist at the State House in Columbia. Sponseller, is also graduate of the Citadel. He is past president of the Cayce West Columbia Rotary Club and a past president of the International Society of Hotel Association Executives.

Fourteen year-old San Antonio teenager, Genevieve Sanchez, also known as Gena has been missing the "days".

She was least seen on Tuesday night in the neighborhood of the 21000 block of La Pena. At the time of her disappearance she was wearing a black swimsuit with a black t-shirt. Apparently, the last communication that came from the missing girl was a text message received by her mother stating that she was on here way home. She never showed up.

She is five feet, three inches tall and weighs approximately 121 pounds. Genevieve has brown eyes and brown hair.

Weiner tweeted 17 year old girl remains anonymous

Breaking news on the "Weiner Scandal" doesn't seem to be letting up anytime soon as new revelations come out regarding tweets that went back and forth between the embattled Congressman and a 17 year old girl in Delaware. Since the girl is a minor, her name is being withheld and remains anonymous.

The 46-year-old congressman stated that he had online contact with a 17-year-old girl but said there was nothing inappropriate or salacious about it. Police visited the home of the girl and interviewed her and her parents. They also confiscated her computer. Generally, authorities do not confiscate a computer or hard-drives unless they have reason to believe that digital forensic evidence exists that would indicate a crime had been committed. We will have to wait and see. In the meantime, it is likely that more and more revelations will emerge concerning the online activities of this very publicly visible figure.

Today, the heat continues to be turned up on the congressman as The House Democratic leader, Nancy Pelosi, called on Weiner to resign citing the growing concern among Democrats that his online exchanges with women had become a distraction for the party.

The need for anonymity, especially in a case where a minor is involved remains a valuable and necessary tool of a civilized society. The ability to remain anonymous for ones protection or to be able to communicate by sending an anonymous email or anonymous letter is a fundamental right of all American citizens.

Anonymous juries allowed by Maryland court

A Maryland Court of Appeals voted 6-1 on June 6 to permit new rules that would allow anonymous juries in criminal trials when a judge determines there is a potential for juror harassment, tampering or safety. The rules permit a judge to determine on a case-by-case basis if there is any reason to protect jurors’ identities. If it is determined that juries identities should remain anonymous, the judge would call for jurors to be referred to by number.

Silent Sender reported on a similar story back in March where an anonymous jury for a trial in Chicago was granted by state and federal courts in Chicago Illinois. Also, remember the Blagojevich case? The judge presiding over the former Illinois Governor's trial had proclaimed that the identities of the jurors in the retrial will indeed remain anonymous until the following morning after the proceedings.

Kristian Faith Stout still missing - Send an anonymous email to Phoenix Police

Authorities are asking the public to provide any information that may lead to finding a Phoenix girl who has been missing since May 27th. She was last seen at the Paradise Valley Mall.

Kristian Faith Stout, also known as Kristian Ward was last seen at the mall around 1:00 p.m. on May 27, according to the Phoenix Police Department. Kristian is a white female with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5-feet-5-inches tall and weighs 125 pounds with pierced ears and another piercing in the top of her left ear. She is an 18 year-old woman of a 2 year-old boy.

The Phoenix Police Department is asking anyone with information on Stout’s whereabouts to contact the Missing Persons Unit at 602-534-2121 or 602-262-6141 or to email at phoenix.tips.ppd@phoenix.gov . Three days of searching streets, construction sites, lakes and the surrounding woods in and around Bloomington, Ind., police still can't Lauren Spierer and don't know where she is.

Lauren is a 20-year-old fashion student at Indiana University. She vanished early Friday morning after being last seen around 4:15 a.m. a few blocks from her apartment. According to a review of security cameras it has become apparent that she never made it home. Lauren also has a serious medical condition (arrhythmia) which requires daily medicine.

Anonymous Navy Seal Who Shot Bin Laden to be Revealed?

Not likely anytime soon and possibly never.

The individual responsible for permanently snuffing out the ubiquitous, almost omnipresent force of Osama Bin Laden will most likely remain anonymous in order to protect his family and friends from harm or retaliation by any party seeking revenge on behalf of Bin Laden. Veiled in the secrecy of "black ops", this true American hero is the quintessential "Unknown Soldier."

So what do we know about the individual that probably has had an equally profound impact on the future war on terror as Bin Laden did over the last twenty years? According to some ex-Navy Seals, he is probably between ages of 26 and 33. He would likely be experienced enough to have had time to complete additional training which is required to join the elite counter-terrorism unit. But, he would also be young enough to withstand the physically strenuous aspects of the job. He is likely a man since there are no women in the SEALs. He is likely Caucasian, though the SEALs have been increasing the number of minorities in their ranks. He was possibly a high school or college athlete with attributes of strength, speed and agility. “They are referred to as ‘tactical athletes,’ ” the ex-Seal members stated

It is probable that some operational aspects of the mission will be revealed in the future, but it is highly unlikely that any information that would reveal intelligence techniques or sources would be compromised to satisfy the insatiable public curiosity.

It is important preserve the anonymous identity of this individual, as he is a true hero and deserves the adulation of all people who reject hate and the twisted variant of jihad-ism that Bin Laden spewed from his covert hiding places since before 911. The ability to remain anonymous is a fundamental right. In this case, a fundamental necessity. Anonymity is synonymous with 'protection'. It keeps us safe from danger, whether that be fanatical retaliation, exploitation or unwanted intrusion.
