Long time no blog. Hope all is well with all of you guys <3. sorry about being so distant. i been working too much..>.< so i did reward myself this weekend by getting a pair of chanel sunglasses. it is oh so cute.. it is an over size sunglasses that sits well on my face and cover most of my face. the lens itself is 2 toned, darker around the eye area and lighter on the cheek area. it is quite glamours. my fav part of the sunglasses is gotta be the side. its got a beautiful white bow with crystal chanel words on it. SO PRETTY... what do you girls think of the sunglasses?

A few weeks ago I walked into Bloomingdales determined to pick up a Dior spring palette, instead, this is what ended up coming home with me....

I don't think I need to say much about the quality of the shadow: the powders are pressed well and finely milled. This particular palette is being advertised as having pearl-like colors. The shimmers are fine and subdued indoor but sparkle brilliantly under sunlight. I don't think the pictures (including the promotional pictures) do this palette justice.

What I really like about this palette is the color payoff. The swatches below are based on just one swipe with the finger. Another great thing about this palette (what makes it win Dior for the season) is that each color in the palette is distinguishable from the other--- whereas Dior spring just looks like five different shades of (lovely) gray.

Koji eye talk eyelid glue review

This is purely my personal opinion and how I feel about myself. I am not saying monolid is not as pretty as double lid. this is just my personal view. I have very very heavy mono eye lids. it makes me look sleepy, not awake, kind of have lazy eyes.. i always feel very envy about other girls with beautiful big doll like eyes. i am a huge fan of eye make ups, but my eyes are very difficult to put make up on. you cannot use the regular techniques, so very little makeup artist knows how to put makeup on for me. i always feel like i have little room to play in terms of eye make ups.. pretty troublesome. i have considered eyelid surgery, but the risks of is just too much. i have wore double eyelid tape for about a year in my life, but it irritates my eyelid and looks very un-natural. so i stopped wearing them. sometimes about last year, i found koji eyetalk eyelid glue and decided to give it a try. to my surprise, it works wonders.

pros:
invisible, very natural looking. just make sure you wear it last after your makeup.
long lasting, oil free. lasts me pretty much the whole day
easy to remove. it comes off very easily with any makeup remover.
can use to shape any type of crease as you like

Cons:
maybe a bit challenge for beginners. take some practice

so overall, i really really like the koji eyetalk. I made a vid to show you girls how to use it. so take a look and let me know if you have any questions.

Review: My foundation stash

I think I have done my Japanese shadow collection a while back, and thought i should share with you my foundation stash. compare to my shadow collection, I have almost noting in possession. =-= the main reason is due to lazyness.. I only wear foundations on the weekend if i remember to. normal days, i will just roll out of the door with TM. do not get me wrong, i do not have perfect skins.. I break out super easily.. and i have super uneven skin tone... my cheek is lighter compare to rest of face not sure why....>-> anyways, enough side track, lets get on with the review

1. Dior HydrAction Deep Hydration Skin Tint SPF 20: Tinted Moisturizer in 02
This is my daily foundation during fall and winter. it is super moisturizing and it leaves my skin a beautiful finish. it does not have good coverage, i mean it is just a TM, but good enough for me. it is super light, and the SPF 20 is just icing on the cake. =D highly recommended...

but my fellow blogger friend lovesweetcrystal has informed me this TM has been discontinued. WTH.. what am i going to do when this tube is gone... i mean the good thing is you only need a little bit to go a long way but still sigh >.<

2. Clinique superfit makeup in netrual
this is my first foundation ever, so it hold a special place in my heart. it is oil free which does not break me out. it got medium coverage and feels light on my face. i think it is the pioneer of the HD make up, b/c it has sheen in it. the sheen in the foundation reflects light onto your skin, give your skin a nice finish. not bad right..

3. clinique city block SPF 40
Another HG of mine. i wear this almost EVERYDAY during summer and fall by itself. I also wear it as a makeup base as well..super versatile..although it provides little coverage, it does have SPF 40 which provides us with super sun protection.. muahaha... it is oil free and i found it very light on my face during the hot humid virginia summer! def highly recommended as well.

4. makeup forever HD #120
this is result of my impulsive shopping!!!I wanted to spend money really bad one day so i went to grab one of the make up forever HD foundation for fun. I think I have only used it 3 times for the past half of year. the quality is amazing thou! foundation goes on smoothly, feels light weight. i have not had problem with breaking out yet. it makes my skin photographs beautifully.. note to myself, need to start wearing that and take pic for the blog....

5. Revlon photo finish makeup nude 004
Another impulsive buy of mine.. i tends to do that with foundations... After I got my MUFE HD, i started reading blogs about that. often time, people compare that to the revlon photo finish makeup.. so I decided to hop on the band wagon. it is got very very limited color selections, which makes picking color without trying on very difficult.. but it goes on skin fine, and the finish is not too bad either.. a good cheap alternative to the MUFE HD.

6. Legere White Multi BB Cream
all my friends in Asia raved about this BB cream.. so I had friends mom to buy me this from taiwan. haha.. this foundation provides most coverage out of all of the items above. but it does feel heavy on my face. not so much of the feeling of heaviness, it is more the feeling of my skin cannot breath underneath it. the BB cream comes out pretty dark from the tube, but it is super light once you blend it out. supposely BB Cream only comes in one shade.. i am having a hard time to imaging all asian girls have the same skin tone... well this BB cream is a bit too light on me..lol. so in conclusion, i am not sure what is the rave all about...

Leighton Meester aka Blair for korean make up brand espoir

I am a big fan of Blair from GG. no one can deny how beautiful and perfect Leighton Meester is. She has been recently super busy as well between movies and being spoke person for brands. she is the new face of big names like vera wang, missoni, as well as herb essense. i just saw that she teamed up with a korean make up brand called eSpoir. i am not too familiar with korean make up brands, but the ads and vids look super cute, makes me want to buy the lipsticks..

Review - Jill stuart 2010 xmas collection - secret tease collection

jill stuart is my all time absolute fav brand. I don't think I have ever missed any jill stuart collection pieces since i have get to know the brand. haha crazyness. so for 2010, jill stuart came out with secret tease collection. this is a very sexy collection. haha it is strange to use sexy and jill staurt in the same sentence, but you will see what i mean.

jill stuart false eyelashes with glue
jill stuart jelly lip gloss in 102 silky pink

all the limited collection pieces have black lace design on them. very sexy.. haha

the super awesomes:
the blush blossom is the key for this collection. that retails itself for like 65 bucks or so. the blush itself is quite nice with a strawberry scents to it. be aware the powder blush itself is very pigmented. so please only dab a little when use. i really like how the blush is 2 toned. one for highlight and one for color. the color 101 is your typical pale pink with deeper pink. this is a very safe and day to day color for most people. i am more looking forward to a golden/peachy color of blush. i must go pick them up next time im in asia. there are A LOT OF powders in this blush, and its very pigmented. i have a feeling the blush is going to last me forever....

i used to hate the jill stuart jelly lipgloss, that thing attracts dirt/fuss, and everything u name it in the air.. its super sticky. to my surprise, this one is not that sticky.. not sure if they improved the quality of what.. its just not that bad.. the color itself is another safe color of pink. it does add a lot of shine to your lips. it is a good choice to go with lipstick...

the so so:
eye jelly , it is nice, but the color is so blah.. i am not sure if it is my skin color or what.. the 104 does not show up on me that much.. this item will end up on the blog sale..lol

perfume body powder, this is super adorable.. but what i am going to do with it?! it has glitter in the powder and it smells wonderful.. BUT.. when will i ever remember to put them on..

the not so good:
the eyelashes: it is super glamours looking with soft fur on top of the falsies.. but being a falsie snob, i was very disappointed that JS did not put its quality in the lashes. this pair of lashes feel super plastic and hard. i do not think this pair will ever lasts. such a waste given that the style of the lashes is super cute..

the verdict:
get it if you are a huge jill stuart fan like myself.. and if you been eyeing the powder blush, this is a pretty good deal too. but if you already have that powder blush or not a fan, safely skip this collection. =D

Acuve circle lens gen 2 review

Circle lens is a beauty essential in Asia. most of the girls in asia wear very dramatic circle lens to enhance their eyes. it is suppose to make your eyes appear much bigger. popular colors are yellow, brown, purple, pink. i know crazy right. i must admit, they do look awesome thou, i have seem before and after pictures of girls wearing them. they do make huge difference. so i figure i should hop on the bandwagon and try them out. Today i will compare my fav acuve circle lens generation 1 and 2.

I have tried the popular and cheap korean circle lens. they tend to look very dramatic with huge diameters. and they are usually one year wear. so it is very hard. many the youtube gurus wear them without any complains. but i guess i have super duper sensitive eyes. once put into my eyes, i started tearing with burning sensations. trust me, i tried 2 different pairs with very good reviews. i guess i am just a bit different. haha last year, emo has introduced me to this acuve circle lens daily disposal. it is super soft, and super comfortable. totally love them.

comfortable: super comfy all day long =D
price: medium priced. i think they run 40 bucks for 40 pairs. i usually wear a pair twice or so without any discomfort
look: not dramatic but enhance your eyes enough
Generation 1: black circle on the outter ring. makes your eyes look darker and somehow makes my eyes look bigger
Generation 2: more dramatic. it is got yellow/black patterns on the outter ring. makes your eyes look lighter and brighter.
Gen 1 vs Gen 2: i prefer gen 1 much better. it looks more natural on me because it is black. I am asian and it looks pretty darn weird if i sport a golden eyes imo. haha so the gen1 makes me look like have natural big eyes instead of wearing circle lens.

Review - Dolly Wink falsie number 2

hello everyone! long time no talk. hope you all doing well. =D this is long over due. i think the quick youtube review has been up on the youtube for over 2 weeks now. i am finally catching up and writing the review here on the blog. =D past few weeks have been crazy for me. working 70 hrs a week is def not good for my body. hopefully i will not get wrinkle anytime soon.. =_= going to OD on la mer to keep my skin well. Anyways, back to the falsie.

dolly wink is extremely popular in Japan. it is featured on numerous magazines and tv ads. when i was in japan a month back, i was impressed by how thick and long every girl;s lashes were. everyone was wearing 1-3 pairs of lashes to achieve doll like look. so i picked up a pair of lashes from the dolly wink collection. those lashes aint cheap at all.. looking beautiful has a high cost in japan..lol.. the dolly wink falsies cost about 16 us dollars per 2 pairs. its cost is comparable to mac falsies. quite pricy consider is a drug store brand, the reason i picked number 2 was its unique style. the lashes can be divided into 3 sections. front of eye section has thin but long lashes. makes ur eye looks more open. the middle section has very thick and black lashes. this really make ur eyes look more wide. the last section has semi thick and long lashes, makes your eye looks longer. together this pair of flasie make your eye looks bigger from any angle. kind of cool right. the eyelash stem is very thin and transparent, which makes the eyelashes look very nature. also it makes it very comfortable to wear. not only dolly wink is very comfortable , it also keep its shape well. after a week nonstop wearing ( i wear flasies everyday), the lash still look as new and still very comfortable to wear.

EOTD - dior iridescent leather and quick update on what I been up to

Hi my beautiful ppl, long long long time no see. oh how i miss you girls and my stash of unopened makeup. life come to you fast, as soon as I got back from asia, I got interviewed and then promoted to team lead for the team i was in. transition from peer to lead is tough, esp I am almost like the youngest person on the team. and handle 10 direct employees are tough too. That is the why I have been neglecting the blog for few weeks. but no worries, I am back and determined to bring you EOTD, FOTD every week. hehe so no more side track, I got the highly sought out dior eyeshadow palette iridescent leather from the airport. I think I paid about 56 us dollars for it, so it is quite cheap consider the horrible us currency exchange rate.

Color: this is not the normal color of palette I would go for. it is a bit too warm for my liking. it is got 5 different colors:

deep smokey brown
pale gold color
light smokey brown
light pink
shimmer white with a hint of gold color

sorry for messed up eyeliner oh well

I really like pale gold color. i used the gold color to line inner part of the eyes, this widen my eyes make they look bigger and fresh.

here is what I did for today's EOTD
1. highlight entire eye with the middle color - i find this color a bit too shimmer for me for everyday wear, i will opt out that next time
2. deep smokey brown in the crease - very pretty deep brown
3. blend the deep smokey brown color outwards with the light brown, give my eye more definition
4. a dab of pink color in the inner corner of eyes
5. line under line with pale gold

so simple and easy to do. I think this palette is very safe for everyday's look, its dramatic but yet very subtle at the same time. the colors are very pigmented and gorgeous. I can see why many find it the HG palette. however, I do find this palette way too warm for my liking. but it is very appropriate for fall don't you think!

yay i just came home about 12 hrs ago from my mega asia trip again. so stay tune for all the exciting pictures I took and goodies i bought. first thing first, one of the main reason for this trip was to take the super nice asian style wedding pictures. i must say, make up artist in asia are very SKILLsful. after they were done with me, i look like a movie star and i never felt so beautiful before in my life. the photo shoot was long and painful thou. i was there for 14 hrs and had 5 outfits. >.> unfortunately, i won't get my pictures until next year when i go back to asia. but the photo studio was nice enough to sent me 5 random pictures from the shoot as a preview. so enjoy!

Visee Blooming Eyes, Chanel Winter Nights

I've never really paid attention to Visee, a Japanese drugstore brand, until its recent releases of the Nude Glam Eyes and the Blooming Eyes. Blooming Eyes is I believe the brand's spring/summer release for this year and the line consists of beautiful, shimmery gradation palettes. I picked up the purple one (PU1) below, and like the others, it has a really pretty flower motif not only imprinted onto the shadow but also on the outer casing itself.

Nothing much to say about the colors except that it's a gradation of beige, silver, shimmery lavender and warm maroon. My first complaint is that there is no discernible difference between the beige and the silvery colors. In my opinion I'd rather have a 4-color palette than a 5-color palette if you can't tell the difference between some of these colors. The lavender is sooo pretty although it's not nearly as pigmented as I'd liked, the pigmentation of the liner colors also leaves something to be desired. Overall a girly and pretty palette but nothing too much to rave about. The shadows also don't have any staying power at all and a primer is a must.

Along with the Blooming Eyes I picked up N5 from the Nude Glam Eyes collection. This palette is much more pigmented and i fell in loooooove as soon as I tried it. If you're a sucker for taupey colors then this is definitely a must. In one little inexpesive package you get a gold, taupey brown and a dark silvery gray which translates to a smokey and sensual look. Just with one use N5 has become my second-in-line HG palette of all things I own (including couture brands).

Also recently, J was feeling rich so she picked up a few items, one of which is Chanel's Winter Nights palette. I would describe it as a very warm and romantic palette that's great for an OL look (OL as in office lady). The texture is silky and as J would describe -- the colors has these beautiful shimmers that a camera just would not be able to pick up. I'm not into warm color combinations although I definitely see this palette's attraction. =)

I also just got my hands on Urban Decay's Naked and can't wait to try it out!!!! Ahhh!!

Review: Coffret D'or AA Rouge

This is a loooooooong overdue review of the Coffret D'or AA Rouge line that was part of the spring 2010 release. J got the lippies in PK247 and PK248 and kindly, she lent them to me to try.

Picture shown: PK247 (left) and PK248 (right). PK247 is a sheer fushia pink while PK248 has a more mature, rosy color. My personal preference is PK247 because it has a more youthful look. The formula is unbelievably moisturizing and soft (hence the slight uneven surface after heavy usage) and is superior to both the Dior Addict Highshine lipsticks and the Maquillage Glossy Perfect Rouge line. (Note: the MQ glossy perfect rouge from spring 2010 is an amazing lipstick on its own, but feels slightly gritty because of the fine glitter in the formula). While Coffret D'or lippies beat Dior hands down, it's unfortunately also priced the same ($27 on AdamBeauty), if not higher than the couture line ($26 on Sephora).

Swatches. Medium pigment, moisturizing formula with a slight sheen. The texture is absolutely amazing. I've been wanting to get the PK247 for myself but have been spending my bling on furniture instead in recent months. =p

Review: Guerlain 2010 fall collection palette 29 rue de sevres

Guerlain is one of my top brands along with JS and P&j. so of course, I cannot pass on this year's unique fall collection.

first thought:
As I mentioned in previous post/vids, the palette itself is very different from its regular line. the case is designed by some famous architect. the case itself is very very pretty with cute bee design on top. the only criticism I have about the case is it attracts finger print like NO OTHERS. but guerlain is known for that...

Shadow Quality:
very smooth and silky. just as expected from gueralin. super staying power. so here is the picture we took at the begining of day, I had a very nice makeup on. but in the next 4 hrs, my poor face has endure about 3 plus hrs of hot sun and 100+ degree roasting, following by down right pour for about 30 mins. then I came home to film the review for this. by then, I still had most of my eye shadows on. So this shadow have AMAZING staying power. sweating and rain resistance~ i did not even use a primer.. haha

After 4 hrs of sweat and rain, my eyeshadow is still there with minor smudge

oh ps: ariel and I met up with Fuz and Mel. it was so much fun.. >=) aren't we all cute?!

Color combination:
This is when thing start to go wrong for this pretty palette. I picked number 29 b/c it is most pigmented palette out of all the releases. When I swatched them in store, I had a such a hard time to decide which one to get. most of the other palettes look very sheer on my hand. this one is the only palette that had any sort of pigmentation. So i picked this one thinking it should be most useful palette out of them all. but unfortunately, this palette;s color combination does not work well on my skin. I used for about 8 days straight and tried so many different look and combination, sadly the color just look bleh on me. I am not sure why. it is quite sad. most of my other guerlain palette have very nice color combination and they are so pretty on me. but i am not sure what went wrong on this. they just do not work well together. I guess I can still use the individual colors with other shadows. maybe it will work better.

Texture:
According to the SA, all the 6 different color in the palette suppose to have different texture.. but I find them extremely similar. beside the matte eyeliner in the palette, all the rest of the shadow are shimmery.. I am not sure why I was told they were different...>.>

Price:
84 dollars before tax.. yah. a little steep. I am starting to regretting this purchase... >.> I feel like i am paying 84 dollars for a pretty case

Final verdict:
it is a solid palette but not my fav. def not worth the 84 dollars. I am wondering if other color in this release any good?

enjoy 2 different EOTD... they are very easy to do.. and they look just avg to me..sigh

Review: Lunasol EX01

My friend recently made a trip to Asia and kindly picked up a Lunasol palette for me during her transfer at the Tokyo Narita airport (^.^V). I got the LE palette in EX01 Nature Summer Blue which was released for summer 2010. I was debating between this color and the 04 from the spring collection but ultimately decided that EX01 is more unique. It was really great to be able to get it at the SRP (~$49 US) instead of the normal jacked-up price that's sold online over here. =D

I think the picture below is pretty true to the actual colors. Clockwise from top left: shimmer beige, aqua marine, navy blue, and golden sand.

I'm really happy with this purchase because, like I said before, I think the color combination is really unique. Kanebo has a tendency to repeat the same color combinations over and over again but EX01 is definitely not within its normal line up. I also notice that there's less glittery fall-off with this palette as compared to some of the past Lunasol products I used. The eyeshadow is pressed pretty well, which means less powdery mess but at the same time it's more difficult to pick up the colors with a brush -- which is my preferred method of makeup application.

The golden sand color is gorgeous as a highlighter or an all over color. The navy blue is also wonderful as a liner. The aqua marine needs to be used sparingly (in my case at least) because you can really go over the top with this color. Pictures below are taken without flash.

First Look: Guerlain Fall 10 collection - 6 color eyeshadow in 29 rue de...

Just came home, and yay i got my hands on the guerlain fall 2010 collection shadow.. its OH SO CUTE.. the case itself is so pretty..

i picked the color number 29 b/c i thought its the most everyday palette out of the collection. and also i think this palette is the most pigmented as well. the color shows up extremely well when i swatched it in store.

the palette itself is too pretty to touch.. but I THINK.. i will do eye of the day tomorrow for you all..=X haha.. so stay tune for that

EOTD - Maquillage spring limited collection GR764

First time using this palette. i been meant to practice the whole week, but everytime i open the palette. i could not bring myself to touch it. its too pretty =X. yeah so you all just have to bare with me on this not too good eye of the day. but at least you know how the color looks on the skin. hehe i need to find a better way to wear this shadow.

first impressive:
packaging is super cute =X
shadow quality is super awesome. all the shadow are extremely silky and smooth. very refined
applicator is super awesome as well. it came with double end sponge applicator as well as a angled eyeliner brush and shadow brush. cool right!

After EOTD thoughts:
shadow quality is no doubt;y good, but the palette color itself are a bit too light. it does not have a darker shade of color that can be used with in the crease. so it lacks of depth. also you gotta becareful how much shadow you use, if you use too much, your eyes can end up looking like a neon light..=P i def need a lot of practice to make find a eye look that suits me with this palette. perhaps use with another shadow or something. we will see!

Anson gege just came back from his wild party in HK and he also got me maquillage spring collection green eyeshadow. he did mention that he got this eyeliner for me, but it turns out to be eyeshadow palette.. yay i guess guys have no clue what's the difference between eyeshadow and eyeliner..=X anyhow, i took some pictures with my iphone 4, it actually looks AWESOME close up. don't u think so. June Makeup Review

Hello beautifuls. long time no talk. hope all is well with you guys. i been extremely busy with work... i kept on getting more responsibility, it is exciting but quite tiring. work leaves me with little will to blog. but hehe its the weekend, i am back to blogging. so first post first, is my JUNE makeup review.

Revlon photo ready makeup in 004 nude
pros:
light weight
decent converage
Cons:
little color choices, i had a tough time deciding the color. 005 is too yellow on me while 004 is just a bit too light for me.. but looking light beats looking yellow right.. haha
hard to blend, i never had this problem with other foundation. but this one takes a bit time to blend.. i do not know...
the verdict:
it is worth every penny you pay for. it is cheap and it delivers despite its short coming. you cannot expect the perfect foundation with 13 dollars. hehe

the verdict:

the verdict: even thou the collection is a bit of pricy, but I LOVE them. its so pretty and girly. <3

Nail of the Day (NOTD)?

Not sure if anyone has ever used the term NOTD, but here's my nail color of the week*. I decided to do a post on it after getting a few compliments.

Nail polish used:
Maquillage: 21
Sally Hansen: Fairy Tale Ivory
... and that's it! Just a sheer shimmery nude base and a pink, glittery gradation overlayed on top.

Unfortunately these pictures were taken three days after I did my nails so some of the rhinestones have started to fall of.. *sobs*... but they are still looking presentable for the most part. The nail polish surprisingly has not really chipped.. and I didn't even bother to apply a top coat this time.

Jill Stuart Bridal Collection

wooo, this is long over due. but after a fail attempt of going to post office with the wrong shipping notice, I have finally got my jill stuart bridal collection! yay it only took me about 3 weeks..=_=....

Anyways, I got the floral mirror and the nail set from the collection. let me just say they are so pretty.

Floral mirror - about 40 us dollars. both me and ariel were surprised on how small the mirror is....we were expecting something a lot bigger.. i mean come on, 40 bucks should be able to buy you a decent size mirror right. but yeah this thing is pretty small for its price. but i guess the detail of the mirror and the floral design on the back make up for its price. despite its size, this mirror delivers in it design and packaging. It's so pretty to the point, i think i'd rather to spend 40 bucks to buy this useless that i will never use mirror than some skin care from lancome or some brand. wow, i sounded pretty vain there.. but you girls get the picture. haha here are some pictures for you all to drool on.

Nail set - about 40 dollars. compare to the mirror, this set is so much more worth your money. it came with a fancy ring pillow shaped makeup bag with the most beautiful flower design on it. Seriously, i thought my 2 fancy coutour wedding dresses that cost a bit too much were pretty, this thing TOP THEM. sign, now i wish i bought a Jill stuart bridal gown. oh btw, did you girls know that JS makes bridal gowns in japan too. =P anyways, the nail set come with some sparkly nail stickers that i will prob not ever touch them. I am some what of a novice in terms of nail polish. this nail set only contains 2 nail polishes, but it manages to double the amount of the nail polishes i own. base on my limited knowledge, i am safe to say, I have found my HG nail polish. and did i mention they smell like strawberry?! hehehehe. the 2 nail polishes are princess pearl which is a milky pink color, and the enternal diamon - a sparkly silver color. take a look at below NOTD, where i layed silver color on top of the pink. pretty, isn;t it.

overall, both set are SUPER PRETTY. if you are little tight on the budget, go ahead get the nail polish set. you get more for your money. =) well i am pretty beat right now. gotta go rest and play some PICROSS 3D.. hehe i will ttyl. hehe

first off, here is lavshuca collections. shadows are from 3 different collections. my fav out of the 4 is the green one. very pretty <3

Kate, a very popular brand in asia. i would consider it as MAC of asian brands. its very pigmented and dramatic for asia.

glamtrick eyes - super pigmented

Kate diamond cut eyes. very sparkly hence the diamond hehe. however, that purple looks horrible on me bleh

Shu uemura mika collection, totally LOVE. colors are extremely pretty, it also came with cream liner. o.m.g so loveee

Kate reflect mirror eyes. this is relatively sheer compare to the rest of the kate line. it is very bling still thou. hehe

Kate dual carat. i think its decent, but def not my fav

Coffret D'or. so prettyyy and unique color

Maquillage, by far the hardest palette to use. it took me a good while to get used to this. all 5 shades are cream shadow.. like seriously, someone teach me how to use it.. super hard.. colors are so pretty thou <3

Lippies Party (MQ & Dior)

I'm light years behind on my reviews. I stashed up a few lip products a couple months ago and it's about time to share some thoughts on them.

Maquillage Glossy Perfect Rouge, PK715 (model color; spring 2010)
Dior Addict Ultra Gloss Pearl, 436 (Apricot Cloche)

PK715 was unquestionably the most popular color in the spring 2010 line. I was immediately set on getting the color after seeing it in the promotional picture. PK715 is a sheer, glossy peach color with very very fine glitter. I've heard complaints about this line of lipsticks generally being too sheer, but I find that I could layer it to give me sufficient pigmentation. The lippie is really moisturizing (I tend to use it as chapstick), but just a little less so than its competitor, Coffret D'or.

So ok, Dior 436 is another peachy color, in the gloss form of course. I would describe the color as iridescent apricot. Another beautiful, beautiful color perfect for a weekend look (a little too shiny for the office perhaps). The formula is non-sticky just like all Dior lipglosses.

I'm loving both products although I think MQ lipsticks are really expensive -- priced higher than both Coffret D'or AND Dior if you buy it in the U.S. Not to mention the content is only 3g. THREE GRAMS!!! I think I will keep buying it nonetheless.. hehehe.

Review: Jill Stuart diamond dew lip color review

Janet and Emo got me this super adorable super awesome JS lip ring for me. unfortunately, this item is too CUTE for me to touch. so all I can do is taking picture and stare at it. so this is not really a review, but more like a post for all of us to drool all over it. the package is so lovely and there are lots of princes like design all over the ring. this just screams JS all over! and of course this brings a big smile on my face just by staring at it. would you indulge yourself with this pretty ring?

I am having a very sad sat, i woke up and ran to the post office to pick up my jill stuart and realize that I had wrong shipping notice. After running back home and got the correct shipping notice, i find the post office has closed.. BUMMER.. i will have to pick up my poor jill stuart bridal collection next weekend.. =_=~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ thats so sad....so i guess no jill stuart bridal collection post this weekend.. oh well

BUT YAH, i know i said i was not too into the whole guerlain fall collection 2010 in my previous post. but the more i look at it the more i want it.. not sure if it is the very intricate case design from some world famous designer or the palette is very versatile. the shadow palette contains 6 different shades. those shades have different finishes as well, pearl, silky, and matte. also you can use the palette for brow, shadow and liner. how interesting. also this collection comes with 6 different variations. the problem right now is WHICH PALETTE AM I GETTING. i am torned between the blue palette and the brown palette..=X which one do you guys like better?

oh ps: collection is due in store mid JULY.. isn't that a bit early for fall? haha
