It has been half year since my last post and this is my first blog post of the year ^^ I very seldom have Indian cuisine but Acura recommend this restaurant so I just give a tried.
This restaurant served North Indian Cuisine its descent from Persian ancestors. This restaurant located at Boulevard Commercial Center.

Mango & Strawberry Lassi

Their lassi is a must to order when you are here. The Mango Lassi was one of the best I have ever had, you will never regret!

Vegetarian Fried Rice, is really tasty

Garlic Naan, i just love it

We also ordered Tandoori Chicken and vegetable. The chicken is tender and juicy. The aroma of the spices is lovely and I highly recommend that. We also ordered Bhindi Naintaraa (Lady Fingers) is a mixtures of tossed tomatoes, spices and onions. You will definitely love it.
This is probably my favourite restaurant in Miri for Indian Cuisine and I will be there when I come visit Miri. The price is slightly expensive but is really worth it. Highly recommend this restaurant,

We always went out for dinner & need to a cab because the resort is 15min from town. Cab here seldom used meter but don'y worry, the price they charge are reasonable. Tonight we had our dinner at Little Italy. ABesides spaghetti, there are also several pasta to choose such as fettuccine & ravioli. Moreover, you can choose 4 types of sauce such as tomato, seafood, olive own and cream.

I have drag this post since March (is more than 6month :p). Well, I owe someone for this post & keep on complaining about me not updating my blog. 6 month ago, I was in Kota Kinabalu (KK) with Acura. On the 1st day, we stay in Le Meridian where located at center of KK.

On the 2nd day, we check in Shangri-La Hotel in Tanjung Aru Resort. This hotel located near to KK airport & it cost RM30 from Le Meridian to Shangri-la.

They served us refreshment and 1 of the hotel staff help us to register & explain to us about the activities & facilities they provide. In a short while, we received our room key ^^

I have been very lazy to update my blog because tired of working. I know I should continue my post in Kota Kinabalu, unfortunately I format my laptop and I forget to backup my photos :( Well, I need to be hardworking to update my blog ^-^ Today post is about Marriott hotel in Miri. I love the environment here.

Le Meridian Hotel & Suang Tain Seafood Restaurant @ Kota Kinabalu

I travel to Kota Kinabalu (KK) on early of March with Acura. Feel excited when Acura told me about this & of course I need to do my research before I go ^^ On the 1st day, we check in to Le Meridian Hotel where it located at the city. The hotel is in strategic location where you can find shopping places, market and easy access to food.

KK is famous with cheap seafood so you definitely must tried. You can see seafood restaurant everywhere but of course you need to choose the best! A taxi uncle recommend us a Seafood Restaurant named Shuang Tain located at Warisan Kampung Air foodcourt. Is just 5 min walking distance from our hotel

This restaurant located at food court but all the stall are selling seafood. Suang Tain located at the end of the foodcourt & you can see the place is crowded. There are a large variety of seafood you can choose which are kept in the aquariums. Some I not ever see before such as the photo below

The total bill for all the dishes above is about RM170 where is actually worth it. I don't think you will be able to have all the above in a cheaper price in West Malaysia. They give us their name card and there are 10% when you visit again.

Chop Jing Chew - Brunei

Each time I in Miri, place that I definitely must go is Brunei. The journey take around 2 hours where is almost same like the time to Malacca from KL.

We are going to have our breakfast here, Chop Jing Chew Gadong.

This shop is a great bakery or restaurant in Brunei that has been around since 1946. Their specialty is Roti Kuning Kahwin

Every bun that served are nicely toasted with light crisps on the edges and nice fluffy bun. The bun was yellow and served with thick creamy butter and kaya

OMG! it had a nice filling of thick slice of butter and kaya

Besides famous with their fluffy bread, they are famous with Seama Kuey Teow.

Special noodles with their mixture soy sauce and topped with fried fish. Thumb up for this ^^

Do have a try at this shop when you are heading to Brunei

Miri here I come again ^-^ Reach here on Christmas day to meet Acura. After dinner, we went for 'tong sui' (dessert) at Boulevard.

I love the taste but they said ok ok only.

Overall, the dessert is good and environment is comfortable. I see people chatting and gathering here. If you are craving for dessert in Miri, do have a try at Dessert Master.

Brunei - Excapade Sushi

If anyone talk about sushi in Miri, usually they are refer to the sushi in neighbor countries, Brunei. Since I at Miri, of course we will heading to Brunei for trip ^-^

Food varieties are wide where you might have problems thinking what to eat. There are choices of sashimi, deep fried, handroll, BBQ, and lots more. Definitely you can get something you like. In term of pricing, I would say is worth for what you eat. It is fresh and taste great and the portion is big.

Tonkatsu located at the same floor as Tokyo Street at Pavillion Kuala Lumpur. The shop located just next to Ben's. Tonkatsu - breaded, deep fried pork cutlets with shredded cabbage and miso soup and rice. Another specialty in this shop is their dip sauce.

There are breaded deep fried pork loins, pork cutlet, prawns and chicken which are available in set menu that comes with a miso soup, rice and cold tofu. Prices range from RM20+ to RM30+ a set.

Everyday I wake up early around 6am to fetch Acura to work. I never woke up so early unless during secondary time. I do it everyday fetch him to work & lunch so that I got car to drive around Miri.

After that we going to have our lunch at Madam Wee where they are famous with their home made noodles & laksa. The place is packed with customers during lunch time & lucky we manage to get place to seat.

3 layer tea
This is a must to order when you at Miri. Taste much more better than in KL.

The taste is good & not too oily compare to the one I have in KL.

This place have limited parking space & is crowded during lunch. I heard that there is another place famous for Laksa also but I not able to try. I hope I can try the other stall so that I can make comparison between it.

Get sick after few days at Miri. Ivan ask me why I always sick when come to Miri hahaha But the weather at Miri is better than KL just that I drink less water so get sick. Today Acura bring me to a restaurant at Lutong. I like this environment & enjoy it.

Miri - Day 1

After trip to BKK, 2 week later I plan to visit Acura at Sarawak. Well, there goes another trip =)
I take the earliest flight to Miri so that I can see Acura soon.

After 2 hour 15min flight I reach Miri =) I feel so excited because Acura is waiting for me at the arrival hall. Is already 1 month + we did not see each other. I miss him so much! After picking me up, Acura bring me to Fisherman Kitchen at Luak Bay.

I have drag the post for almost 2 month to complete the whole trip. I still have another trip to post! Is really no time after start my working life. On the last day itself, we did not have breakfast at hostel but went to try their food.

We are very happy with the result because is unexpected =) The happiest is that I M GRADUATE! 3 of them congrats me & I really very happy with the result so are they.

Bangkok Trip - Day 4

Actually we plan to floating market on the 4th day but due to very tired so we cancel the plan & sleep until late (tired of shopping lol) After the breakfast we plan to go back Pratunam to shop until the max because tomorrow is our last day. We shop until drop at Pratunam & went back to hotel to have a rest. At night we take a cab to Chinatown to have their famous seafood.

We spend 1 hours there & we really cant stand it anymore because is very hot until burn our skin. After that we went to Chinatown to have lunch. You can take boat to Chinatown which cost 25 bath also. Thought want to have seafood but the shop only open at night so we just try another famous noodles at Chinatown.

After tired of shopping we went back to out hostel to have a nice sleep before going to massage at night. The massage is quiet cheap & we enjoy very much. Thought want to have dinner at Chinatown but after the massage it started to rain & we just have a dinner at a restaurant few shop from the massage shops. The food is really worse so do their beverages. The dinner not full at all & they charges very expensive. (p.s: don go to the shop near to the hostel is just very expensive)

We walk to Central World & they also haven open =( so we took picture around. After that we walk to Pratunam Market. While on the way to Pratunam, we went to currency exchange (Super Nice) to change Thai Bath. Their rate is cheaper than in Malaysia. We thought Pratunam is near but is far ( take a taxi next time).

So sorry that we did not take photo of Pratunam because everyone is busy shopping & hand full with clothes & shoes hahaha The thing there is very cheap. For Thai Bath 85 you can buy a short pants where you cant even find it at Malaysia with this price & quality.

We spend 6 hours at Pratunam & everyone shop until drop =) We even miss our lunch but the weird is that we did not feel hungry at all ( might due to busy with shopping, LOL) After done with shopping we feel hungry hehe so we took cab to Siam Paragon & have lunch at Shabushi.

Bangkok Trip (Day 1)

We have waited for so long for this trip & we feel excited. This BKK trip I went with my 3 lovely housemates (Kenneth, Sylvia & Jiki). Since I m from Kl Sentral so we going to gather at Bandar Tasik Selatan & take bus together to LCCT.

After check in & have some rest we went to the nearest 7-11 for dinner ( We still not familiar with the place). Their 7-11 is different from the one we have in Malaysia. They provide variety of choices of food to choose & you can even heat the food.

I going to gain a lot of weight when Acura is back. After buffet & lunch at Midvalley, the next day we went to have lunch at Coffee Chemistry,Sunway Giza. The shop is difficult to find but lucky Acura manage to find it because it located at second floor.

The shop located on second floor of Modiva. Don feel surprise when you are there because they are shop selling HTC & Digi also on the same floor. The place is crowded during lunch time & there is free internet service also. The food is good & value for money

After a great lunch at Grand Millenium Hotel yesterday. Today we went to Fong Lye located at The Garden, Midvalley for lunch with Acura family. The place is crowded & we need to wait 10 minutes to be seated.

Actually I should post about my Bangkok trip but it consist few days so I decided to post about my buffet lunch. Few week back Acura back from Sarawak & on the Saturday itself we went for International buffet lunch at Grand Miellinium hotel to celebrate parents day.

Today is my housemate birthday so we have plan to surprise her. Since she like to eat Korean food so we decided to ask her for Korean lunch at Ampang. We reach there around 1.30pm & my another housemate (Kenneth) will buy cakes & hide it without her knowledge & we successful hehe. Last time we try BeeWon & this time we try another Korean restaurant, Royal Palace.
