Empire furniture table top veneer:

Each design maintains a central decorative feature veneer panel surrounded by a contrasting

band of straight grain veneer.

These are separated by golden band of Movingui with ebonized line detailed.

Most tops are then finished with a choice of Marquetry inlay design.

And edged with either a hand carved, gold or silver leafed gardrooned edge,

or a decorative lip moulding.

Top finishes are yew, honey oak, natural oak, cool walnut,

warm walnut and black oak.

Empire glass tables fitted with a 10mm bevelled, toughened, safety glass.

Beds available with a Clive Christian Marquetry inlay crest or a hand painted option.

All finishes come complete with gold or silver leaf detail.

Clive Christian Rugs Hand Made.

Clive Christian created unique artwork which in turn Sam Roubini translated and produced in the finest wool and silk.
The Portrait No. 1 Rug, shows a cherub holding a garland leaning on an architectural ledge. The image was taken from the Toile de Jouey fabrics used within Clive Christian rooms.

The No.1 'Diamond' Rug was inspired by the image of the brilliant cut diamond as a symbol of the rarity of the ingredients within. In this rug, sharp angled hues of gold, green brown and black depict the facets and intensity of a diamond.

The 1872 'Rose de Mai' Rug celebrates the rare bloom use in Clive Christian's perfume 1872. The rug is filled with soft pinks and peach tones strewn over a black background.

The X 'Egyptian Jasmine' Rug represents the jasmine chosen by Cleopatra for her journey to meet Anthony, dousing her ships sails in heady aphrodisiac aroma. The intensity of the white, purple and lavender hues on a black background reflects the potency of Christian's perfume X.

The Clive X, No.1 and 1872 rugs are available in size 12' x 12' ft. The Clive Portrait No. 1 rug is available in size 9' x 12' ft.

Portrait No. 1, is a glamorous classic brought up to date and exclusively available from Clive Christian showrooms. Wallpaper colours for Portrait No. 1 are grey, sepia, red and blue.

Monogram, a classical embroidered repeat design featuring the company initial,
exclusively available from Clive Christian showrooms. Wallpaper colours for
Monogram are cream and grey.
Measurements are the same for both Portrait No. 1 and Monogram.
Roll length 10.15 meters 68cm wide with a 92cm repeating pattern.

Below we focus on a VIP Design Service where bespoke, finishing touches including intricute marquetry and finecarving has been considered to personalise the Clive Christian classical fitted furniture and panelling.

Design: Many clients have their own coat of arms, some residences have an emblem or mascot, sometimes a family pet or mascot can be used for the design, in other circumstances a simple initial or monogram can look elegant.

Order: Marquetry and carving must be specified as the order is placed.

The Most Excellent 'Order of the British Empire' was established on the 4 june 1917 by George V of the United Kingdom.

Each year a select number of people across the United Kingdom spanning the spectrum of science, philanthropy acting and politics are chosen by the Queen as part of her 'New Year's Honours List'.

On the eve of 2012, Queen Elizabeth ll's Diamond Jubilee year, Clive Christian was announced as the recipient of an OBE for his contribution as a Designer for the medal ceremony and official investiture.
